The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Only the extremely bright light in the front seating area is a bit disturbing.

Very tasty food! We had pizza, pasta with salmon, panna cotta and chocolate souffle. Only the placement at the top was a bit unfortunate. Very close to other people and from the outside it looks like there is no one in the store ☺️ the green area would be more pleasant and the staff doesn't have to lug everything upstairs ☺️

Five of us were here on Christmas Day and it was just amazing! The recommended starter platter was a hit, the soups were heavenly, and the main courses couldn't have been better. In addition, a perfect wine recommendation and service that made us feel welcome from the start. Everything was made with so much love - you can just tell that there was a lot of heart and soul put into it. A great evening that we won't soon forget. Thank you!

A lovely evening with good food

We had visitors from America and had little hope of getting a reservation for 10 people on a Saturday. But we were really LUCKY when the OK came. The waitress is a real sweetheart. She speaks 4 languages ​​and informed our visit about all the dishes 😀 It was very cozy and the food was super delicious 😋 So I can only warmly recommend it. Small and fine!!! Went to Gimi's Italia again today and had lunch there. We were able to enjoy our meals in a comfortable atmosphere with an appealing ambience. As always, the service was perfect and the dishes were really tasty. We would be happy to come back and can recommend you. Gimi, you have a great team.

The food wasn't good and far too expensive, the portions were too small for the price, the pizza and the dough were okay but nothing more and the toppings were just normal toppings. The pasta was overcooked. The starters were okay Overall it wasn't convincing enough. Service was relatively good compared to the food.

We've been there several times, unfortunately we've noticed that the quality has deteriorated more and more. Pizza is good, pasta is very neutral in taste and the plate size of the meat dishes is rather modest for the price. Last but not least, there was only one functioning toilet for women and men. Definitely try it out, very good team and great food, keep it up. I told everyone about it. New post I wrote this a year ago. New operators, good facilities and ambience. But the cuisine was better last year, with tagliatelle with beef and porcini mushrooms the last ingredients were very minimal on the plate, the Steinbeisser is already expensive, so the portion was very clear, everything was OK, but then please adjust the price.

On Monday evenings it is difficult to even find a restaurant. Luckily Italia was open. For that 👍! Ambience and service friendly and okay. The salad with chicken was fresh and delicious... but it could have perhaps been a third piece of chicken for the quite ambitious price. Compared to the menu shown on the website on the Internet +42%... that's quite steep (and the withdrawal of the VAT reduction due to Corinna does not count as an argument!)! 😮

The food tastes good, but there is still room for improvement. The portions are plentiful. Since the restaurant is getting a bit old, a renovation would be appropriate. Nevertheless, the cleaning staff should be changed. That would benefit the atmosphere.

Been there on a recommendation, unfortunately disappointed, service staff were probably in the training phase, you had to talk to them whenever you wanted something, no initiative according to your wishes or opinions, very helpless. The food was tasty but the portion was very small and overpriced. I know Italians to be hospitable and caring, but unfortunately not here. Later, the staff sat together at the table to eat and we were no longer noticed at all... a shame

The overall impression is very nice, but unfortunately I have to complain that when you sit comfortably with friends you look at not-so-nice flower boxes with completely dried-out, unkempt plants. The always friendly lady in service is particularly praiseworthy.

We had dinner here this evening. The staff seems uncoordinated to me. The waiter who served us was very nice, but a total of 4 people stood around bored behind the bar to serve us. The restaurant was only a third full, if at all. Bruschetta was ordered as a starter. It tasted completely good. As the main course, 2 pizzas were ordered and salmon with rosemary potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Salami pizza was topped with a total of 5 slices of salami (very little topping) and a good pizza base. My main course was the salmon with rosemary potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Unfortunately that was very poor. 4 small boiled potato cubes measuring 3x3cm that had nothing to do with rosemary. A bit of vegetables from broccoli and cauliflower. The salmon wasn't fried badly. Unfortunately not recommended. I don't think I'll be visiting this restaurant again in the next few years. The salmon wasn't exactly cheap for what was on the plate either. There is absolutely no price/performance ratio here. Too bad.....

We came without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The wait for the food was worth it. The pizza was fantastic. Loose, fluffy dough and topped with fresh ingredients. Great taste. The service and attentiveness of the staff was also great. We would come again.

Delicious and inexpensive! I recently ate at Ristorante Italia with my girlfriend and we were completely satisfied! The Parma pizza was extremely tasty (the base was crispy), the toppings were generous and the seasoning was perfectly balanced. My girlfriend ordered the salami pizza, which I was also allowed to try. It was fantastic. The tiramisu, which I gave a chance, also turned out to be a real treat -> absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and courteous, and the ambience of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian cuisine. A real pleasure, always with pleasure.

I recently visited the pizzeria and absolutely loved my experience! As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm, inviting atmosphere, which immediately gives you the feeling of being in Italy. The service was excellent - the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Our order was taken quickly and the wait for the food was very short, even though the restaurant was busy. The menu offers a fantastic selection of traditional Italian dishes. The pizzas are particularly noteworthy: the dough was perfectly thin and crispy, the tomato sauce was fresh and flavorful, and the ingredients were of the highest quality. I tried the Margherita, which was absolutely delicious - the mozzarella was wonderfully tender and the basil leaves were fresh. The pasta dishes and antipasti that my companion ordered were also excellently prepared and a real highlight in terms of taste. The desserts, especially the tiramisu, completed the perfect dining experience. The wine selection is exquisite and offers a wide range of excellent Italian wines that perfectly complement the food. Overall, my visit was a real highlight. Everything is just right here: from the quality of the food to the excellent service to the cozy atmosphere. I can highly recommend this pizzeria to everyone and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Super awesome food. I am fascinated by the restaurant. The staff is also very friendly and nice. The panna cotta is perhaps the best ever, I have never had better panna cotta than here. That really has to be praised. The fettucine salmone are also incredibly tasty. I've never eaten something so delicious in my life. This restaurant can only be recommended. We were there last week with a small group of friends and had a very nice and happy evening. All of the Soeisen - the airy pizza, fish, asparagus, salad, frizzantino... were simply really tasty and the service was quick, cheerful and full of spirit - wonderful!!! Unfortunately, some of the desserts were already sold out, which was a real shame...as was the high noise level, which made it difficult to have a good conversation. Nevertheless: a really recommendable place.

The managing director is courteous and happy to take the time for a short conversation. We asked in advance by telephone whether the restaurant was accessible to disabled people, which was confirmed to us and which is why we chose the restaurant. Really impressive restaurant in the heart of the old town of Halberstadt, Italian restaurant with own Italian recipes, starting from lunches with many options from different salads and starters to Neapolitan first courses or pizzas, or a long selection of fish to have a light lunch not forgetting also several meats to conclude with dinner, very welcoming staff and high quality cuisine made up of chefs with Italian experience. A true Italian restaurant. Definitely recommended!

Were there for dinner on New Year's Eve 2023 in the evening, the food was actually good, although sometimes little, for example potatoes, the rosemary potatoes, which were added upon request, but only came when we were already finished and then unfortunately only lukewarm. That's why only three stars overall .

Very nice service. Unfortunately we decided on the recommendation of the day, an antipasti platter. It was a good average, but the price later on the bill was even more generous. For the main course we chose pizza. The edge was partially burnt black, the dough was limp and quite tasteless. Our joy of a delicious pizza was greatly disappointed. There will be no further visit for us there.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Leider hatte eine Person aus unserer Gruppe immer Pech. Ob es Hauptgericht war oder Nachspeise leider hatten sie die bestellten Gerichte nicht da. Das war etwas ärgerlich. Die Auswahl an Pasta könnte etwas größer sein.

Das Essen und der Service waren lecker. Gibt eine schöne Auswahl an leckerem italienischen Essen.

Es war ein super schöner Abend in diesem Restaurant. Liebes Personal und der Koch ist einfach mit Leib und Seele dabei. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort essen gehen oder auch mal was zum abholen bestellen. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Das Ambiente war gut ,das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal war super freundlich. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Vielleicht war an dem Abend zu viel los oder ich zu viel genervt. Das Angebot von mehreren gemischten Vorspeiseplatten für acht Personen klang recht gut, dauerte aber...ebenso wie die Hauptgerichte, zwischen beiden lagen mehr als 40 Minuten..... das fand ich schon etwas ärgerlich. Geschmacklich konnte ich zwar nur auf hohem Niveau meckern, lag aber daran, dass ich wohl irgendwie andere Erwartungen an der Zusammenstellung hatte, da sugerierte die Speisekarte ein etwas anderes Bild. Nichts desto trotz, freundliches Personal und gute Speisenauswahl in allen Preisklassen.

Eins vorweg: Das Essen war gut! Das Carpaccio war unspektakulär und es wurde auch kein Brot dazu gereicht. Pizza war sehr lecker und das Tiramisu ebenfalls. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aber auch teilweise überfordert. Der Chef wirkt teilweise arrogant im Umgang mit seinen Gästen. Keine Entschuldigung am Nachbartisch für die servierte, aber noch gefrorene Lasagne. Reservierung ist echt empfehlenswert, da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht ist. Wiederkommen würde ich!

Wenig Platz. Saßen draußen weil das Wetter schön war aber man sitzt ja quasi auf dem Bürgersteig und die Straßenbahn fährt direkt an einem vorbei dadurch auch ab und zu laut. Essen war ok,aber zu kleine Portionen. Die könnten ruhig etwas größer sein. Der Service war gut und sehr nett .

Wunderbarer Abend im Ristorante Pizzeria Italia. Früher waren wir oft im Vorgänger Rossini, die Erwartungen waren also hoch. Italia hat nicht enttäuscht - super nette Bedienung, absolut leckeres Essen und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir kommen wieder!

Absoluter Geheimtipp!! Authentisch italienische Speisen in sehr guten Portionen für relativ kleines Geld. (Pizza 9 bis 12 Euro als Richtlinie) Freundliches Personal, das augenscheinlich konfliktfrei zusammenarbeitet. Sehr spontane Restaurantleitung, die alle Gäste mit offenen Armen begrüßt. Wenn man in Halberstadt in ein Restaurant gehen will, dann empfehle ich dieses.

Für mich der beste Italiener, den es gibt. Hier steckt sehr viel Liebe und Leidenschaft im Restaurant. Der Service und die Küche sind unschlagbar. Die Speisen werden mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet, auch vegetarische Gerichte stehen auf der Speisekarte. Ebenso lässt die Nachtischvielfalt keine Wünsche offen.
