Ristorante Pizzeria Da Lorenzo in Bedburg

By far one of the most beautiful and best restaurants in Bedburg, great service, super friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. Dining here is always a highlight.

The chef, Nabil – or Lorenzo, as he prefers to be called – doesn't offer Algerian cuisine, but Italian, since that's more popular. Fine.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and very child-friendly. The carbonara was made with egg and cheese, not the usual cream sauce. We'll gladly come back next time we're in Bedburg.

We went there for my mother's birthday dinner today, and it was simply fantastic. The atmosphere was very cozy, the table was beautifully set, and the menu and food were wonderful. Then the birthday surprise with the gift was amazing. Since we came from the Lower Rhine region, we had specifically asked if dogs were allowed, and they were also warmly welcomed. All in all, a lovely lunch. Thank you so much!

The atmosphere is extremely uncomfortable, you feel like you're in a shop window... then the endless waiting in the other restaurant across the road. I had a cold draft at my back every two minutes... because despite booking in advance we got the table by the door... it was almost impossible to order from the boss because he just turned around to look at his regular customers. The food was a disaster, you couldn't eat the lasagne because it felt like a bowl of sugar had fallen into the food... there was far too much vinegar on the antipasti platter, I don't know what's so surprising about that, I find the boss with his belle and exaggerated Italian demeanor to be far too intrusive and over the top... And as already mentioned, the waiters running over to us was really very annoying and not appropriate for the price we had to pay afterwards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No further recommendation

There were two of us there. The starter, bruschetta with vitello tonato, was good! But be careful, it's quite generous for a starter 👍. Our main courses were one risotto and one pasta with truffle. Both were pretty bland, if not bland. It could definitely be better.

At this Italian restaurant, you feel like you're in Italy and eating one of the most delicious pizzas I've ever eaten! For those who don't usually like eating pizza crust... we'll be back!

Very nice owner and friendly staff, and it's probably the best pizza I've had in a long time. And it's decent value: I ate the ten-euro pizza funghi for two days! ;-) I highly recommend it!

Our Spanish guests were there with their young daughter that afternoon and were treated terribly by the owner. The two certainly speak better German than the waitresses, but they were still deeply upset by the boss's blustering attacks and considered it racial profiling, Italians versus Spaniards—unbelievable.

Never again – rude, slow, and discriminatory Last year, I loved this restaurant. This time, however, I was bitterly disappointed: The elderly gentleman (presumably the owner) was extremely unfriendly when I simply asked for a high chair for my baby. The service was abysmal – no one spoke proper German, everything was slow, and no one came to the table to ask. I had to get up several times to get small things like salt. We come from Mexico, where good service is a given – here, however, we were treated significantly worse as foreigners. They even wanted to charge me extra for the bill and refused to provide a proper receipt. The food was average, the location was good – but the disrespectful and discriminatory treatment ruined everything. Never again.

The food is great! The pizza is prepared Neapolitan style and perfectly matches my taste. Great crust, real flavor in the dough, and topped with good ingredients. Other dishes like lasagna and pasta also looked very good. The service needs some improvement. Everything seems a bit disorganized, and you wait quite a long time for your food. In the meantime, you get pizza bread, pizza rolls, and dips, which makes it half as bad as it seems. The food and ambiance are really great, but it would be nice to bring a little order to the service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

There was a special menu for Easter. Unfortunately not to our taste. The great new boss still baked us 2 normal pizzas. Great service and very nice operation. The food was delicious and we can recommend the restaurant.

It actually couldn't be better: all the dishes were very tasty, attentive service, a nice boss and, on top of that, Easter presents for the children. If I didn't live too far away by now, I would be there every week.

We were there at Christmas. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio in terms of taste and quality was an absolute disgrace. The portions, which were priced very high, didn't fill an adult. The meat was dry and tough, pizza wasn't offered, and we weren't given any invoices either, which is very questionable. The biggest shame was simply the price quoted for what ended up on the plate and then no invoice was issued. The staff was attentive and friendly. We're definitely not coming back.

Were just there for the first time. We had a starter, main course and dessert. Everything tasted great. Service is extremely courteous and attentive. Price performance is really good. Nice day ticket as an alternative to the normal ticket. We will definitely come back.

The food was super tasty, the service was also smooth and pleasant. But when we wanted to pay, the owner said that we could only pay in cash. We as tourists did not know this and therefore did not have enough cash with us. We indicated that it would have been better for him to indicate this in advance instead of only at checkout. This was not well received, he did not trust the banks and it was his business so he could choose, that's it. When we finally paid he also shouted “viva putin!” after. Sorry, but we do not come to a restaurant for political beliefs. So keep that to yourself.

Actually, that's still too few stars. We were there at lunchtime when the weather was great and sat outside. The food was fantastic. First of all we shared a Margherita. You can actually only get such delicious dough in Düsseldorf or Cologne. The food afterwards was great and very tasty. We reserved a table for Friday to deepen our impressions. The service was top notch in all respects. What I also like is the huge selection. Price-wise, completely okay. Above all, there is the opportunity to have a meal here around lunchtime. 10 people reserved a table there to celebrate a birthday. The drinks came after 10 minutes, which was ok, we only had to wait an hour for the starters, so we were almost not hungry anymore. The glasses of drinks were only refilled upon request. We didn't get to the main course because after the starter and 2 hours of waiting and after asking, which resulted in a sloppy answer (they can probably be patient a little longer), we stopped, paid and left without getting the main course are. For us one thing is certain... NEVER AGAIN.

The food is simply excellent and in my opinion the best thing I have ever eaten at an Italian restaurant. From the starters to the main courses and side dishes, you can tell the love and passion with which each dish is prepared. The attention to detail is reflected in every bite. In terms of price, the restaurant is absolutely reasonable for the outstanding quality and taste. You always feel warmly welcome there, and the family atmosphere makes your visit special every time. Simply first-class – we always enjoy coming back!

If you want to eat really tasty Italian food, this is the right place for you. The pizza was really tasty and the boss of the house, a real Italian, served every guest in an incredibly friendly manner. But the staff is also very friendly. We will be back definitely!

In the heart of Bedburg, close to the castle and the Erft, is the Ristorante on the market square. Very nice service and very tasty dishes. Always my pleasure.

Company of 6 adults and 2 children for lunch. Excellent menu advice from Lorenzo, “desired menus” are prepared for the children. Courteous service staff. Very tasty Mediterranean food, with good wine. You'll be happy to come back there. Highly recommended.

There were two of us on May 28th. in the restaurant. When the outside temperature was 15 degrees, all the windows/doors were open, so you had to sit in the restaurant with a jacket and scarf. The conditions were overwhelming and it was almost impossible to get service on your own. Nowhere was there a sign that you can only pay in cash and when we wanted to pay by card, we were told that only cash payment was possible and that there would generally no longer be any card payments. Card payments would be abolished. After one of us got cash from the ATM, we didn't even get a bill. We were only given an invoice after requesting it.

I left my sunglasses and case there. I called them three times and was promised that they would call me back to let me know if the glasses had been found. No call back!! I then drove by there personally to ask if the glasses had been found. Then the boss started laughing!! When I then said what there was to laugh about, the boss became aggressive towards me!! What's that supposed to mean!!! Is this how you treat guests? The shops (pizzeria & steak restaurant) will never see us again!! Terrible!!!!!

Italian starter plate very good, enough for 2 people. Ordered veal liver. Soft and gray, soft like liver sausage, piled high with soft-boiled onions, mashed potatoes, no sauce, no vegetables. Inedible and too expensive. Sea bream fillet tasty, but very manageable portion (one fillet) Nice atmosphere. But that alone is not enough to come back

We've always eaten in the restaurant on site and it's always been great. Now we ordered out of the house and there was a world of difference between eating there and eating out. The food outside the house was of very poor quality and unfortunately didn't taste good at all. Unfortunately, we do not have an explanation for these differences, as it is inexplicable to me how such differences can arise in one and the same restaurant. It was our first and last time that we ordered our food there. Very unfortunate.

We were there as a couple because we had a voucher, when we came to the restaurant we were warmly welcomed! There is no coziness there because the light there is so bright that you feel like you are in a snack bar. Then we were given a menu and when I asked for the correct menu we only got one menu for two people! The boss is really nice and funny and the rest of the employees are friendly. We each had 2 pasta dishes. You had to look for the noodles under all the sauce and you finished eating relatively quickly and were still hungry. We ordered 3 pizzas to take home for the children. 2 Margherita and 1 quattro stagioni, we were very disappointed, the pizzas were small and not to mention the taste. We were really looking forward to the evening and the food and were extremely disappointed. We definitely won't come again! I or we can't understand why everyone is so excited!

We stopped here by chance and were thrilled. A small restaurant with a menu that immediately appealed to us. We received a very friendly welcome and were well looked after. The food was fantastic! There is not only good pizza here, but also great meat dishes, such as Iberico or Duroc. Unfortunately we don't live around the corner, but we will definitely come back again. We ended up here by chance and we were all very excited. The service was attentive, friendly and accommodating. At the beginning we received a delicious greeting from the kitchen, the food was extremely tasty and freshly prepared. We also got a little “nightcap on the house”, thank you very much.

Die Pizza war gut. Die Bedienung war sichtlich unzufrieden, dass niemand von uns ein Dessert bestellte, daran konnte auch mein Wunsch nach einem Espresso nichts ändern. Ich kam mir leicht verschaukelt vor, als wir bezahlen wollten und wir dann gefragt wurden, ob wir einen Grappa oder Espresso (!) aufs Haus haben wollten.

Sehr netter Wirt, Glück mit dem Wetter, konnten draußen sitzen, Essen war sehr gut, Pizza sah lecker aus.

Waren letzten Donnerstag abend mit 4 Personen dort, zum Glück mit Reservierung. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell. Haben 2 x die Antipasto Herbst bestellt. Das war phantastisch, gute Auswahl mit Fisch und Muscheln, dazu die Klassiker, sehr lecker. Die Hauptgerichte von Nudeln über Ravioli und Pizza alles sehr gut. Es war ein wunderschöner Abend mit hervorragendem Essen.

Eigentlich ein toller laden mit einem sehr netten Betreiber. Leider hatte wohl das Service Personal wohl grade erstes angefangen. Ich komme trotzdem wieder.

2 Pizzen gegessen. Hervoragend geschmeckt. Mit extra Pizza Messer zum schneiden. Kennen wir so gar nicht. Alles sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Draußen auf der Terrasse alles super. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Kinder und Hunde sind willkommen. Leider wohnen wir über 250 km weiter weg. Sonst wären wir hier Stammgäste. Normalerweise schreiben wir keine Bewertungen. Hier war es uns ein Bedürfnis.

Hochpreisig, ok- mehr aber auch nicht. Bedienung nicht unfreundlich, aber auch nicht sehr aufgeschlossen. Liegt vermutlich an der Sprachbarriere. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der schöne Außenbereich auf dem Marktplatz.

... wenn Du um ganz kurz vor knapp nach lieber Nachfrage noch etwas Wunderbares aus der Küche gezaubert bekommst. :-) Die gebratenen Steinpilze zur Vorspeise - exzellent. Die Orecchiette mit der Salsiccia - ganz groß! Kleiner Tipp noch: Bitte unbedingt die grelle Beleuchtung im Innenbereich ändern oder zumindest dämpfen. Dieses Restaurant hat mehr verdient, so ist es zu grell, wie in einem Imbiss.

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Gerne gehen wir zu Da Lorenzo. Leckere, wechselnde Gerichte von der Tageskarte, da brauche ich die normale Speisekarte eigentlich gar nicht mehr. Vorsícht vor der Pizza, denn die ist riesig! Top Qualität und guter Service.

Wir wollten mit dem Rad nur kurz verweilen. Aber es sah an den Nachbartischen so lecker aus, dass wir Haupt- und Nachspeise genossen haben. Einfach köstlich - sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr schönes, ansprechendes Restaurant. Freundliche und nette Bedienung, die auch sehr aufmerksam war. Zur Begrüßung gab es Brötchen, Oliven und 2 Dips. Das haben wir, so aufwendig, noch nie erlebt. Das von uns bestellte Essen war sehr appetitlich und schmackhaft. Am Ende gab es einen Absacker aufs Haus. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Update: 18.12 2022 Heute wieder ins da Lorenzo, weil es beim letzten Mal so toll war. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert. Nachdem wir unseren Platz eingenommen hatten, stellte die Bedienung die grosse Speisetafel auf, mit der Erklärung: dies sei die Speisekarte in der Adventszeit. Nun waren wir, wie übrigens noch andere Gäste, zum Pizzaessen hier. Erst auf Nachfrage brachte der "Chef" die Pizzakarte. Während des gesamten Aufenthaltes wurden wir ignoriert. Kein Nachfragen ob es schmeckt oder wir noch etwas benötigen. Wirklich wohlgefühlt haben wir uns dieses Mal nicht!! Schade, sehr schade. Ansonsten, top Qualität was das Essen betrifft.

Ich war vor kurzem mit einem Freund eher per Zufall zu Mittag vorort. Es war wie im letzeten Italien Urlaub! Die Pizza war mit großem Abstand die Beste seitdem!! Dazu eine persönliche Ansprache und ein eloquenter Service. Und das auch noch in Bedburg!! Was will man mehr???!!! Wir kommen wieder!! Mille Grazie!

Perfekt - Tolle Location - Essen ist sehr gut, tolle Tageskarten. Nudeln, Fisch, Salat Inhaber Italiener geführt das merkt man. Alles sauber und schnelle Bedienung. Danke war klasse.

Wenn du auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant bist, das eine sehr gute Pizza serviert, dann bist du bei Lorenzo goldrichtig! Der Teig ist spitze, die Pizza ist schön dünn, der Belag hervorragend! Lorenzo ist ein Unikat und ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber! Wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind, dann kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder vorbei:)

Wir haben uns gestern spontan während unserer Radtour für eine Mahlzeit in diesem Restaurant entschieden. Die Pizza (Thunfisch & Zwiebeln) war super fluffig und lag nicht schwer im Magen (es wird wenig Hefe verwendet und der Teig ruht 48 Stunden, so die Info). Auch der Mista Salat inklusive Dressing war knackig frisch und sehr lecker. Das Personal ist auch sehr nett, Lorenzo verbreitet gute Laune mit seiner Art. :-) Wir kommen wieder!

Wir wollten eigentlich nur eine Kleinigkeit essen bevor wir zum Schloss wollten. Was wir aber dann erleben durften, hat uns so erfreut, das es erwähnt werden muss. Wir wurden vom Gastwirt fast mit einem Lied willkommen geheißen. Ein sehr freundliches humorvolles und liebevolles Ambiente. Wir haben ein Nudelgericht bestellt und der Koch hat ein Meisterwerk vollbracht. Eine Soße aus Tomaten Lachs und einigen Köstlichkeiten. Ein Traum. Zum Schluss gab es vom Lorenzo noch ein leckeren Grappa. Wenn es uns möglich ist werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Wir können die Pizzeria bestens empfehlen.

Absoluter Geheimtipp in Bedburg, wenn man Lust auf italienisch hat. Von Pizza bis Steak waren alle Speisen spitze. Sehr freundliches Personal und besonders im Sommer ein tolles Ambiente auf dem Marktplatz! Ich kann Lorenzo nur weiterempfehlen, immer ein Besuch wert!
