Ristorante Pizzeria da Barone in Ahrensburg

We were here last month with 10 people after swimming at Badlantic. I had a delicious Hawaiian pizza 😋. For dessert, we had chocolate mousse, which was a dream. It was a bit more expensive, but you get 100% quality food. I wish you all the best and we'll be back.

We always enjoy coming to Ristorante Pizzeria da Barone. It's beautifully decorated, and the large terrace is simply fantastic in the summer. We always feel welcome and have enjoyed many delicious dishes. The service is attentive and extremely friendly. Keep up the good work! It's also one of the few Italian restaurants that actually manages to serve spaghetti carbonara WITHOUT cream and NOT with cooked ham. The Lotto Unico from Tuscany is also highly recommended!

The pizza is good. The ingredients are handled very fairly: once, when we ordered a salami pizza without cheese, more salami was used to "compensate" for the omission of an ingredient; another time, an extra ingredient on another pizza was not charged. The lasagna, however, was not good. I'm pretty sure it was a low-quality frozen product swimming in a tomato sauce. The menu cleverly described it as "refined in the house style." It's a shame, though, that makes it a little less than good compared to the good pizza. Positive: consistently friendly service. Conclusion: Pizza +, pasta -.

The food is delicious and authentic. The young waitress made a mistake when taking the order, and they immediately tried to quickly recook it. In the end, we didn't pay for the mistake and were compensated with dessert. Everything was handled very professionally, and we would be happy to return.

Card payment possible. Very classy atmosphere. The price of the food was high, but it was still very well prepared. Service staff were very friendly. I can recommend this ristorante.

Quite good food and reasonable prices. We were 6 family members who met for dinner. Unfortunately there were no chanterelles, so the 3 dishes with these were out of stock and those were the ones we all wanted. Maybe next time. We tried some of the other dishes, and they tasted great too. Can be recommended and we will come again

The price-performance ratio was okay. The parking situation was a bit odd. The restaurant can't be blamed for that. The service was okay, but it was sometimes unclear what was vegetarian.

My companion's salad looked good, but my pizza was unfortunately German. That is, thick, white dough, completely tasteless, and all four cheeses mixed together. In Italy, they would have chased the pizzaiolo off the premises.

It's great that Ahrensburg has a "real" and really good Italian restaurant again! The starter, main course, and dessert were all very attractively presented and absolutely delicious. A lot of skill and great details. An absolute recommendation! Although everything was truly delicious and high-quality, the homemade lemonade deserves special praise. You don't find something like that very often these days! Thank you for the wonderful evening and the super friendly and attentive service!

On June 16, 2025, we visited this restaurant again, which I have visited several times since it opened. In this respect, I can best assess its development and history. There was a change in the kitchen some time ago, which unfortunately wasn't a positive development. The men's restroom was renovated, although a urinal had been cracked for several months but wasn't replaced. However, that's not important. What matters is the taste of the dishes, the preparation, and the presentation. There have also been changes in the service. We haven't seen the old owners for months either. Today we ordered "Bistecca Pizzaiola" (€27.90), Calamaretti Alla Livornese (€22.50), Tiramisu (€7.20), Strawberry Mascarpone (€9.50), Aqua Panna mineral water (0.75 l = €6.90), and a small glass of non-alcoholic beer, König Pilsener (€3.90). Unfortunately, the preparation and presentation reminded me more of a very well-known fast food chain, as both dishes had large slices of cheese on them. I've never seen anything like that before. That applies to both dishes. Calamaretti with large slices of cheese is unknown even in Italy. As a surprise, there was a lot of chili in the middle (!!) of the small portion, which made eating a little longer. Everything was then hidden under arugula. The vegetables were served with it, which unfortunately weren't al dente. The potatoes were prepared with the skin on. The small portion of tiramisu tasted below average. The final bill was €77.90. Unfortunately, the card reader didn't work, even though two different cards were used, but cash payment was acceptable. My personal conclusion: Neither the preparation, taste, nor presentation convinced me. The price/performance ratio isn't right.

I picked up food here because I had a voucher. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the food at all... My pasta, which was supposed to taste like goat cheese and pears, tasted of nothing but strong Parmesan and was unfortunately inedible for me. The arugula salad was baked into the pizza, making it very limp and not tasty. I also strongly suspect that we were charged a significantly higher price. We prefer to stick with our regular Italian restaurant, which meets our expectations and offers upscale food.

We've been there several times, but this was the last time. The pizza dough was out of salt. When we pointed this out, the response was, "We know this, but the dough has to be used up before we make more." Sorry, that's not acceptable. Then, as we left, the icing on the cake. Our son had a fork in his hand during our stay, and it ended up lying on the table. As we were leaving, we were asked what had happened to the fork. Sorry, but we really didn't need to bring the fork with us!

Good to very good Italian cuisine at normal to high prices. Attentive, friendly service. One of the few good restaurants in Ahrensburg that are open for lunch on Saturdays. Absolutely recommended.

One of the best Italians in Ahrensburg. Very tasty food, whether pasta or steaks or salad. The starter plate special was also very good. The dessert was also very tasty. The twelve of us were given a very nice table and were served very attentively. We'd love to come back when we're there again.

We have been regular guests for 2 years and still enjoy going there. Changing recommendation menu, delicious food and warm hosts.

I wanted to eat calamari but it wasn't available. Instead, the waiter offered me a mixed plate with pulpo, scampi and oven-baked vegetables for the same price. It was so delicious that I felt like I was on vacation! The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the seafood was plentiful and well fried. Please be sure to add it to the menu! My companion's pizza was also very good. Another thing worth mentioning is the friendly treatment by the waiters. We will come again!

The food here was really delicious. The atmosphere was nice and the service was nice and polite. The selection was large and varied, so there was something for everyone. The food was ready quickly and we would go back again and again.

A truly fantastic and, above all, authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Ahrensburg. We had a phenomenal selection of antipasti, which not only tasted amazing but was also lovingly and exquisitely presented. The original spaghetti carbonara, lasagna, homemade gnocchi, and the typical desserts were also excellent. On top of that, the staff is very, very warm and accommodating. A lovely place!

We went out to eat for the first time today. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The service left a lot to be desired. The gentlemen were busy with their cell phones and unfortunately, there was no friendliness. The food was okay. What a shame.

I had the pleasure of visiting Restaurant da Barone and I can only say that it is one of the best pizzerias I have ever experienced! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or family. The selection of pizzas is impressive - from classic margheritas to creative specialties with fresh ingredients. I tried the pizza and it was to die for! The dough was perfectly crispy and airy at the same time, and the combination of flavors was just great. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and really took care of our needs. I can highly recommend this restaurant

Sure, here's a shorter and more personal review: I recently visited the restaurant "Ristorante pizzeria da Borane" in Hamburg, and it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was super cozy and the staff incredibly friendly. I tried the homemade pasta with truffle sauce, and it was simply heavenly. For dessert, I had a delicious tiramisu. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's perfect for a lovely evening!

Service very nice and accommodating. Starters were very tasty, pizza was the main course, I've never eaten anything so delicious. Fully satisfied, I tipped a little more than 10%... I was then given dessert as a thank you (I don't drink alcohol) Guys, from the Trafufu to the panacotta, it was great, but this chocolate mousse topped everything. An explosion of creaminess and chocolaty… I'll definitely be back.

We love coming here again and again. The pizza and the ambience are good, as is the atmosphere! Only the toilets are not good despite renovation. The smell in the toilet area is unpleasant and the concept in this area is not well thought out. But apart from that, a good address!

We were a group (10 people) and were served quickly and friendly. Since we were sitting right opposite the door, it was cold and drafty as guests went in and out. For some of our group, the portions of food were very small. However, the complaint was responded to and delivered. In one dish the potatoes had a musty taste, as if they had been in the fridge for a day or two. At the end there was a small schnapps on the house, which is unfortunately no longer common these days.

We were with friends at Da Barone in Ahrensburg. New Year's Eve 2024 with a great arrangement. Welcome champagne, greetings from the kitchen, aubergine gratinated with mozzarella, tagliatelle with truffles in a Parmesan basket, wolffish fillet with side dishes, sorbet, lamb chop, side dishes, rosemary potatoes and finally dessert. Accompanied with various drinks. Midnight champagne. Live music from Italian solo entertainers Unfortunately I didn't take photos of every aisle. Very attentive service, great food and a successful evening at the turn of the year 😃

Went there on the 25th.....then it turns out there is only one menu with little selection....we didn't know about that before....then we found that the portion was rather small for the prices....conclusion never again ...

We ordered pizza and antipasti for 40 people. This was quite spontaneous with just a few days lead time. I was answered quickly and very friendly. The service was perfect. The food came on time, very warm, beautifully presented and generous proven. There was consistently positive feedback about the food from all 40 people. I would order here again at any time!!! With beautiful Italian music, we were treated unobtrusively, yet very attentively and in a very friendly manner. We sat in comfortable chairs all around in a feel-good atmosphere. The pizza was as Italian as it should be, there was absolutely delicious red wine, a small starter (free) and a dessert that matched the red wine was put together for us according to our wishes. The nightcap was on the house. An evening at an Italian restaurant can be so wonderful!

First visit today, reserved online yesterday, confirmation came quickly. But the weather was good, so we sat outside. Everything we saw in terms of food looked very good. Restaurant was well attended. We were there with the “Schlemmerblock”. 2 main courses, pay once. Bruscetta was a bit dark, but otherwise tasted good. Pizza di Mare/Spaghetti di Mare was very good, a lot of "di Mare" and the spaghetti tasted like it was really homemade. Since the orders were mixed up in the kitchen, we waited a little longer, but were sincerely apologized for and were given a tartufo. Not everyone does that. Will definitely come back.

I ordered four pizzas to pick up this evening. They were just hot out of the oven and still nice and hot even at home. The pizzas were all excellent. The staff was also very friendly when picking up and the restaurant is also really an eye-catcher. Gladly again :)

Actually (almost) everything is right - food, ambience and very attentive service. However, the chanterelles should not be prepared with bacon in a ristorante - not even in SH.

Delicious Italian cuisine in a modern, cozy atmosphere. Young and old alike quickly found something delicious from the menu. Whether it was fish or meat or, in the case of our children, pasta and pizza - all the dishes were very tasty. Recommended!

Great restaurant in the heart of Ahrensburg. The pasta is made here independently. Only the service can be improved - friendliness and customer orientation can still be worked on.

Had lunch here today during my lunch break. I only had a limited amount of time and asked before ordering whether the food would come quickly. And that's what happened. The pizza was "juicy" and there was a little bread with a delicious aioli or something like that! So I'll definitely come back again with more time.
