An incredible little Italian restaurant! Many offer good quality for a lot of money… this one offers outstanding and very noticeable quality food for an incredibly low price. Why? There were five of us, and we ordered five main courses, including drinks and appetizers, and the bill came to just €82… I was totally surprised! In Berlin, I would easily have had to pay €200 for the same meal. The food was a pure delight. The olives were divine, the Napolitana, for example, was delicious. I highly recommend ordering the bruschetta with it—it's simply something different! I promise! The owner and his staff were also very friendly, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and I felt very comfortable from my very first visit. I will definitely return and eat there again as soon as I can. This place deserves more than five stars, if only I could!

We went to this restaurant for a small meal. The food was very good, but unfortunately the poor service overshadowed the great food. The restaurant wasn't full; only a few tables were occupied. The waitresses were busy having private conversations instead of keeping an eye on the guests. Ours, as at other tables, had been empty for a long time, and no one thought to show service and ask if we wanted another drink. When someone at the table did make themselves known, their glass was taken from the table so quickly that none of us even had the chance to request anything else. Guests with empty glasses were ignored, as were wallets that were offensively left on the table, as no one wanted to linger there any longer and leave money lying around. It's a shame, as the restaurant industry depends on service, and despite the good food, next time we'll go to another Italian restaurant a few places away that offers good service.

We had ordered there once a while ago and weren't very impressed with the food, but we still wanted to give the restaurant a second chance and ate there. The pizzas were tasty. The side salads were, in our opinion, substandard for a restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't have a clean seat; stains from previous diners on the tablecloth weren't particularly appetizing. Furthermore, we were constantly bothered by fruit flies that flew in our faces. When we saw that some of these flies were sitting in the vase on our table, I placed it at the counter and politely pointed out that the vase was infested with fruit flies. I expected a different reaction than "That's fine, put it there." Personally, I would have been uncomfortable. Since we were there for dinner on a weekday, parking wasn't difficult (although it's true that there are hardly any parking spaces on the side of the road), nor did we need a reservation. And despite the fact that the place was relatively empty, we waited an hour for our pizza, and otherwise, the server only came when we asked. They didn't even ask if everything was okay or if we wanted something else to drink when our drinks were empty. In general, we didn't feel very welcome; rather, it was perceived as a nuisance that we wanted to order something else (drinks, dessert). The prices themselves are completely reasonable, though. What was really unacceptable for us, however, was that when we wanted to pay and the server was already at our table taking the cash, the pizza counter kept ringing because the server hadn't come. So, the server left us standing in the middle of paying and went to serve. And so After paying, we left without a tip, which we are usually happy to give, but once again we were not satisfied and therefore stayed away.

The food was delicious, the service was okay. We weren't asked for another drink, and after the table was cleared, no one came to the table. We had to wait an hour for the bill. And to top it all off, we got a takeaway pizza that came cold out of the kitchen. So, all in all, we didn't feel welcome.

We were seated at a table in the open space. It didn't feel great, but the food was fine. We asked for a well-done pizza, and we certainly got it. My son asked for the controversial pineapple pizza. Although it's not Italian, and not entirely my taste, even that was good.

The parking situation is difficult. The roadside parking spaces are all full on Saturday evening. Please note that the restaurant is quite full on Saturday evenings. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. It is annoying that in-house specialties are only inadequately described. The dish that can be seen in the picture is listed as Pizza Mare e Monti. However, the pizza and calzone combination is not mentioned on the menu. According to the explanation from the waitress, this should have been obvious from the name "Mountains and Sea". Unfortunately, on the one hand, I don't speak Italian, and I wouldn't have come up with this dish even if I had known the translation. What's also a shame is the long waiting time of 1 hour. The taste of the dishes is good in itself, but there is a tendency towards greasiness in all the dishes tried. The taste of fat could be tasted either when consumed or afterwards. In addition, cheese that actually has an intense taste (e.g. Gorgonzola) was hardly noticeable. Unfortunately, this dampened the overall impression of the food.

I went to Ristorante Papagone with friends and overall had a really nice evening. I would give a full 5 stars for the visit itself – the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly. However, there is a small deduction for the food because of the pizza, which was good, but I have eaten better, so I would give it 4 stars. The chocolate soufflé, on the other hand, was simply great, a 5/5! I'll be happy to come back and look forward to trying other dishes too. The food was served quickly, tasted quite good and the prices were absolutely reasonable. Overall, I can definitely recommend the restaurant!

Very nice guest room. The menu is very extensive. Unfortunately, the soft drinks were only at room temperature when they were served. Only the beer came well chilled. The penne should have been with sardines. However, there was only one lost fish head in the large plate; the expected maritime fish aroma did not appear. The waitress had to remind me of my reorder after fifteen minutes. Paying attention is different. There was no parmesan for seasoning.

Always nice here. Good food, friendly staff and a beautiful dining room give eating out a special feeling. You can spend many wonderful hours here on dates or with family, children or friends. The menu offers many delicacies. From salad to pasta, casseroles, pizzas and ice cream for dessert, everything here is very tasty and of the highest quality. Extra requests are taken into account and the starters arrive almost immediately. The selection of drinks is also sufficient with soft drinks such as Cola, Spezi or a Fanta and also alcoholic drinks such as light beer or a good wine. 10/10

From starter to main course 45 minutes. Waiting time. We were the first in the restaurant!!!! Rude service blamed us as guests. All guests. Everyone who came after us got the food before us. Reaction that our food only comes after a complaint. The food wasn't anything special either, I can't recommend it without words.

We were visiting the town. Everything was delicious, friendly service, the restaurant can be recommended with a clear conscience.

The food was good, the Nutella pizza was particularly tasty. There is a deduction in service because the rolls for the starter came after the starter and we had to wait quite a long time for the pizza. Ambiance is cozy.

We visited the restaurant today as a family. The welcome was very warm, the recommendations were delicious and the prices were totally reasonable. The tiramisu is world class! The restaurant was super clean and the service was very friendly and quick. We will be back definitely! It's been a long time since I've had such good Italian food! Absolute recommendation!

Very, very nice owner, takes a lot of time and has very good options for large groups and celebrations. Also vegan and gluten free options.

The food and the service are very good! The portions are not too small but not too big either. The lack of space in the seating area alone is not for everyone! I recommend ordering a window seat, as it can happen in the middle area that you have to make room for the service employee, even if you are eating yourself. All in all, the Pappagone is highly recommended!!!

Wir waren vor ca.2 Wochen zum Essen dort.Hatte Tagiatelle Salmone mit Sahnesauce bestellt und bekomme mit Tomatensoße.Weiß nicht ob es die Chefin oder Bedienung war,auf meine Frage hin das ich mit Sahnesoße bestellt habe,meinte sie das es Sahnesoße ist 🤨 und es bei ihnen so serviert wird uns sich noch nie jemand beschwert hätte 🤯 Dann ändern sie bitte ihre Speisekarte!!Habe es zurückgehen lassen,die Dame war nicht sehr erfreut.Ich bekam dann meine Nudeln mit Sauce.Nudeln mit Lachs und undefinierbarer Sauce mit Zwiebeln 😤 Schade,früher gaaaanz früher war es toll,aber jetzt Katastrophe!Schon die Wartezeit war ewig lang,obwohl es nicht voll war.Und in einem Dienstleistungsbereich sollte man schon freundlich sein auch wenn man einen schlechten Tag hat,die Gäste können nichts dafür!!Ansonsten hat man den Beruf verfehlt!Was positiv war,ist das Ambiente und der Rest naja!

Salat für 9.00 echt grenzwertig Salat war ohne Dressing. Auf der Pizza Gamberetti fehlte der Knoblauch und die Petersilie. Auch waren die Preise höher als ausgeschrieben .

entgegen anderer Leute Meinung, dass es nicht mehr so gut sei wie zuvor.... wollten wir es trotzdem riskieren und uns überzeugen ob es noch gut ist oder eben nicht. Essen ist nach wie vor sehr gut. Aber Service.... also der Gesichtsausdruck sollte schon freundlich sein. . Wir haben uns bei Bestellung etwas unwohl gefühlt ....Als würden wir nerven bzw stören weil es zu lange dauert. . es war sogar die Chefin persönlich... Ok, Sie war evtl im Stress? ne eigentlich nicht... Tabasco hatte sie uns nach Anfrage bringen wollen,...hat es aber nie bisbzu uns geschafft... Als wir zahlen wollten fragte sie bar oder Karte.. Wir sagten bar... und dann drehte sie sich direkt zum Nachbarstisch um, um dort die Bestellung aufzunehmen. . Ohne uns zu sagen, dass sie gleich wieder kommt ...sie ging erst mal zu 2 anderen Tischen. (hää?, why??) Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Spagethi 9 Eur . Pizza 10 Eur rum...Gnocci 9.80 Eur Für 6x Essen und 8 Getränke knapp 84 Eur. Wir kommen dennoch wieder in der Hoffnung, dass die Bedienung freundlich ist.

Schon so oft dran vorbei gefahren und nie bemerkt. Nachdem wir gestern Abend bei anderen Pizzerias keinen Platz bekommen haben sind wir hier gelandet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Restaurant war voll. Trotzdem wurden wir sofort bedient. Das Ambiente passt. Die Getränke wurden sofort serviert und das Essen wurde auch sehr schnell gebracht. Das Essen ein Traum - alles frisch zubereitet. Perfekt. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Wie immer Personal freundlich Essen gut

Seht gute Italienische Küche ,lecker sauber. Was ganz schön ist ich vertrage das essen. Personal super,sehr nett und flink Ambiente wie im Urlaub .

Pizza war ok. Nach kurzer Zeit schon sehr harter Rand und für meinen Geschmack auch schon etwas zu viel davon vorhanden. Wenig Zutaten drauf, inklusive Soße. Sehr dünn, das mag ich. Preislich ganz ok. Unter dem Durchschnitt auf jeden Fall. Kann man mal machen.

Von außen unscheinbar, aber innen stimmig eingerichtet. Service war gut, wenn auch nicht außerordentlich freundlich. Meine Frau hatte eine Pizza die sehr gut war, vorallem den Boden möchte ich hervorheben, durchgebacken und nicht zäh. Ich selbst hatte eine Spezialität des Hauses, was saisonal bedingt hausgemachte pasta mit spargel und Tomatensauce ( mit lachs- und Garnelenstücken). Mir persönlich war der spargel etwas zu durch, aber ansonsten ein sehr gutes Gericht. Einziger etwas größerer Kritikpunkt ist für mich dass es, bis auf ein paar Bier, nur kleine Getränke (0,3/0,25) gibt, die dann doch recht teuer sind.

Super leckeres Essen! Die Bedienung war auch mega lieb! Sie tun alles damit man sich wohl fühlt. Dazu muss ich allerdings sagen das man mit kleinen Kindern nicht unten am Ausgang der Küche sitzen sollte. Da hier die ganze Zeit das Essen rausgebracht wird, sitzt man gefühlt immer ein wenig im Weg.

Ich habe auf 17 uhr reserviert wir müssten 5 min warten weil die noch nicht aufgemacht hatten. Wo wir reinkamen wurden wir nicht begrüßt nach uns kamen andere leute die wurden als erstes bedient weil man sich gekannt hat.Und die haben auch als erstes das essen bekommen obwohl wir erst da waren dann wurde bei uns die Cola vergessen wo wir dann Zahlen wollten müssten wir ca.30 min warten das erste und letzte mal gehe nie wider hin!

Da macht man nichts falsch. Klassiker souverän zubereitet. Aber mitunter Opfer des eigenen Erfolgs, wenn die abzuholenden Gerichte die Zubereitung für die Gäste im Lokal verzögern.

Sehr schönes, typisch italienisches Ambiente und freundliches Personal (teilweise leicht angespannt da viel los war, aber in Ordnung). Die Pizza war mit etwas zusätzlichem Salz sehr gut, Pasta ebenfalls lecker.

Waren mit 4 Personen und einem Kind da essen haben über eine Stunde auf unsere Getränke gewartet und dann haben wir essen bekommen aber leider eins zu wenig es kahm einfach nicht haber aber abnormal 2 euro Rabatt bekommen schon sehr traurig gehen da nicht wieder hin

War heute mit meiner Freundin zum essen im Papagone. Was soll ich sagen ausser super lecker wie immer, hatten eine Vorspeise,Hauptgang und einen Nachtisch .Eigentlich waren wir schon nach der Vorspeise voll aber es war so lecker das wir nicht aufhören konnten. Es war wie immer ein Genuss, danke an das Papagone Team für den schönen Abend!!

Wer richtig gutes Italienisches Essen möchte muss ins Papagone!!! Es wird auf Wünsche eingegangen und man ist immer wieder aufs Neue Begeistert wenn das Essen aufgetischt wird. Habe selten so ein gut organisiertes Team gesehen, die alles unter Kontrolle haben selbst wenn der Laden brechend voll ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder nur zum weiter empfehlen!

Wir Waren zum Mittagstisch, es war nach dem Neueröffnung erste mal und letzte😜Pizza Angebot zum Mittagszeit war Erbärmlich Salat nicht appetitlich ausgesehen und auch so geschmeckt. Schade😏

Das Essen war lecker, die Preise sind passend zum Angebot gut. 1 Stern Abzug, gibt's für den Tisch, direkt am Eingang (Zugluft ohne Ende), Hatte reserviert für 2 Personen. Parkplatz im unmittelbaren Bereich, abends eher schwer. Aber 2 Minuten Fußmarsch um den Häuserblock sind ok.

Boa isch deees lecker da... love it

Ich hatte Scaloppine (Kalbsrücken) mit frischen Pilzen und Spaghetti. Besser kann man so ein Gericht nicht machen. Toll. Leider waren wir im unteren Bereich des Restaurants an den Glastüren. Hier war das Licht sehr unangenehm und es war auch recht kühl im Raum.

Unglaublich leckeres Essen!! Meine Freundin und ich haben noch nie so lecker italienisch gegessen wie in diesem Restaurant!! Die Highlights waren einfach die Fischplatte und die Nudeln mit eingelegten Garnelen in Tomatensoße!! Das Ambiente in dunkler Holz Optik und italienischen Weinflaschen passt unglaublich gut dazu! Ruhige italienische Musik runden den ganzen Abend perfekt ab. Nicht nur, dass es super schmeckt, sondern das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist noch dazu unschlagbar! Die Bedienung war zudem steht’s freundlich und sehr organisiert obwohl der Laden komplett voll war. Danke für den besten Restaurant Besuch den wir je hatten !! Weiter so !!

Sehr leckeres Essen und einer der wenigen Italiener im Umkreis bei dem es auch glutenfreie Pasta gibt. Ideal für Menschen mit Zöliakie. Die teilweise relativ laute italienische Musik stört jedoch ein wenig bei Gesprächen am Tisch. Wurde auf Nachfrage zwar leiser, kurze Zeit später aber wieder lauter gedreht. Ansonsten schöne Location, geschmacklich gut und Preis/Leistung völlig in Ordnung!

Abends an einem Wochentag war das Lokal recht gut gefüllt. Dennoch war alles gut organisiert und wir hatten das Essen sehr schnell. Geschmack und Auswahl haben ebenso gestimmt, wie das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Für mich bester Italiener in Albstadt.

Pizza was not bad, but had been better in the past. Penne was quite good as was the salad. Service was friendly and accommodating. Public room was a bit cramped and austere. Fair prices.

Eine sehr nette Bedienung. Das essen ist sehr lecker. Nur zum empfehlen. Seitdem der neue Pächter übernommen hat, gehen wir wieder gerne dort essen. Qualitätsstandard ist enorm hoch.
