Reserved for three people at short notice in the evening and quickly got a comfortable table. Very friendly and professional staff in the family-run restaurant in the best Italian atmosphere, bread and olives with the drinks, the food is a poem, pizza and pasta as it should be, extras without a problem, the prices are reasonable, and at the end a grappa or Ramazzotti on the house . Reservation is recommended, overall a wonderful evening. We would love to come back 👍👍👍👍👍

We came to this restaurant on the way back from Wiesbaden using the restaurant search on Google Maps. We really liked the comments and the menu. We spontaneously got a seat, the food was very good, the employees were all very nice and accommodating. You can tell by the taste that the restaurant is a family business and a lot of love goes into it. 😊 We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back, highly recommended 😁

The positive first: the service was friendly, the food was tasty and the prices were reasonable. There was a lot going on but unfortunately the service was very chaotic. Bringing a single drink took a quarter of an hour several times. Bringing the bill took around twenty minutes. Blackened olives are a no-go for more sophisticated cuisine. The ambience inside is mediocre, everything is very cluttered with knick-knacks.

We were at Made in Sud last Saturday. We received a great welcome from the boss. From starters to dessert, everything was top notch. The service was unique. Nonna ❤️ herself served us fresh homemade bread and olives. Reservations are necessary as the restaurant is always full. Clear recommendation.

We had reserved for 4 people. Initially everything was fine. However, the drinks order was constantly forgotten and when the food was still not ready after almost 2 hours, we paid for our drinks and went hungry to another restaurant. Yes, something can always come up. Then you should and must communicate with the guest about their requirements and prices. Not even a discount or drink on the house. They are gone from us as guests.

It was so great, the food was great and above all the service was top notch. Grappa was then served on the house at the end. We'll definitely be back.

Very good food at absolutely fair prices in a family atmosphere. Definitely make a reservation, it is always very busy. High quality and freshness of ingredients, friendly welcome and excellent service. This also applies fully to the new landlords. The already very good food is now even more refined and better.

We traveled an extra 150km and it's no exaggeration when I say it was totally worth it!! Nowadays, it's really rare to find a really good restaurant that doesn't just have run-of-the-mill dishes on the menu but also tries out something different. The selection of dishes is large and everything sounds temptingly delicious, which of course makes the decision difficult. In addition, there is even a board with extra dishes that are not listed on the normal menu. It is presented to you at the beginning and in such a way that you can easily remember it! The service is great, super super friendly and above all very accommodating and attentive. The ambience is reminiscent of vacation and you can really relax and escape from everyday life. The food was also simply world class. Thanks for the great evening, we'll be happy to come back!

A visit to Made in Sud is always an experience. From entering the restaurant to saying goodbye, the entire team ensures a warm service that is second to none. The most delicious Italian cuisine, whether from the daily menu or the regular menu. And the team is also happy to give tips on how you can vary a dish. We were in the restaurant today with 5 people! It's been a long time since I've had such a fine meal, we were all extremely satisfied, the waitresses were very attentive, not intrusive, there was even a birthday song sung by the staff! It was a fantastic evening! Thanks for that ! To you very soon

Thought we'd give the restaurant a chance. Conclusion: Meat unseasoned, tomato sauce soggy, just like the service. The service person was cheeky and rude, after which we took the liberty of asking where the food was after almost 2 hours. I've rarely been so insulted. Then got the wrong food. No thanks, never again. Not recommendable

We have eaten there many times, reservations are recommended, especially if you come as a group. The landlady is relaxed and with typical Italian friendliness. No matter whether it's salad, pizza, pasta or meat: we haven't been disappointed yet. In addition to the standard menu, there is usually a board with special dishes. The furnishings are bourgeois and not as fine as in the new "Positano", which we personally like better. Our next visit has already been arranged in our group.

Small, inconspicuous ristorante, with very good food. The Salame Piccante pizza had a very pleasant and well-seasoned dough, the mozzarella was very well melted and the salame was pleasantly spicy and juicy. Definitely top quality ingredients. The waitresses also came by regularly and asked if everything was OK. If we come to the area again on business, we will definitely come back for dinner. One of the best Italians I've been to in recent years.

Unfortunately I'm very disappointed. We had reserved a table for 4 people. When making the reservation it wasn't mentioned that we could only have the table for 1 1/2 hours. After an hour 15, we hadn't had the last sip of espresso before we were told in a rather unfriendly manner that we had to leave because the next guests were waiting. Furthermore, there is no menu in the restaurant and therefore no information about how much the dishes offered orally cost, which certainly led to negative surprises. We're definitely not coming back. To her answer: no one offered me a menu. And I was definitely at Made in Sud.

You can have very good Italian food here. The staff is professional. The Italian salad and the Spaghetti Genovese were very tasty.

Nice Italian restaurant, where I was a guest for the first time on New Year's Eve. The dishes served for the first and main courses were very tasty, well portioned and reasonably priced. Despite the large number of other visitors, the service was extremely friendly and prompt. The only thing I found a bit disturbing was the noise in the restaurant, due to the number of guests, when having a conversation at my own table. Nevertheless, I would very much like to come here again.

Haben zu spät für Weihnachten reservieren wollen, so das wir "zur Not" bei Ristorante Sud "gelandet" sind. Ich muss sagen ZUM GLÜCK! Uns wurde trotz kompletter auslastung, trotzdem noch ein Tisch für 4 Personen ermöglicht. Das Essen erste Klasse, die Bedienung 1A, nett und zuvorkommend. Wir waren zwar das erste Mal dort aber mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal an das Team SUD!

Schon am Telefon super sympathisch gewesen , habe mich schon nur deswegen auf dem Laden gefreut, und war superglücklich das ich eine waschechte Italienerin an der andere Seite der Leitung hatte. Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen, mit Speisen außerhalb der Karte empfohlen. Das Essen war super , Leute war wirklich super lecker. Wir waren zur viert sind aus Dortmund und Italiener. Das ist ein Familienbetrieb und nonna hilft ihre Töchter im Saal mit. Das Ambiente ist super. Ich war so glücklich das wir diesen Restaurant gefunden haben, und war zugleich traurig das wir an kommenden Tag wieder zurück nach Dortmund fahren müssen. Leckeres Essen und liebevolles Ambiente ...

Etwas komischer Name: Made in Sud. Aber ok... Waren mit größerer Gruppe hier. Die Vorspeise war gesetzt: mediterraner Teller. Mir fehlte die geschmackliche Abstimmung. Der Tintenfisch und die Scampis waren wohl fertig zugekauft und schmeckten wässrig. Das mediterrane Gemüse kam schwach gewürzt. Die anderen Komponenten waren ok. Hauptspeise Kalbsschnitzelchen in Weinsosse mit Salbei. Sosse und Fleisch schmeckten gut. Die Bratkartoffeln waren innen viel zu weich und der Salat eine Mischung aus der Tüte, lediglich mit ein wenig frischem Rucola verziert. Dazu eine Sosse, die aus der Flasche kam. Der Lugana dünn und wenig fruchtig. Alles in allem eine maximal durchschnittliche Angelegenheit.

Du warst 3 Tage auf Messe in Frankfurt, bist auf dem Heimweg Richtung Stuttgart. Unterwegs bekommst Du Hunger. Warum auch immer folgst Du nicht der ersten Möglichkeit einzukehren – am Darmstädter Kreuz bist Du darüber sehr froh – das wird nämlich in 45 Minuten voll gesperrt. Kurz danach ruft der Beifahrer: „Fahr mal hier raus. Ich weiß nicht, ob das gut ist, aber ist ein Italiener. Navigieren und genaustens abchecken, welches Lokal das beste ist, kann ich nicht gleichzeitig.“ Pfungstadt heißt der Ort, in dem wir nun also die 3 Arbeitstage voller Input erstmal mental für uns abschließen. Mit dem Wohnmobil parken wir etwa 300 m entfernt. Genug Weg um noch einmal zu schauen, wo wir überhaupt hinwollen. Google-Bewertung 4,7 Sterne. Das klingt nicht so schlecht. Wir biegen in eine Seitenstraße ein und entdecken das kleine Restaurant direkt. Viele Leute sitzen draußen. Wir befürchten fast, keinen Tisch zu bekommen. Während wir uns noch fragend umschauen, kommt auch schon die erste Dame des Teams freudestrahlend auf uns zu und bietet uns im Innenraum ein wundervolles Plätzchen an. Sofort spürt man den Zauber Italiens. Du fühlst Dich wie angekommen. Im Urlaub. In Positano. La Mamma kommt und zählt uns traumhafte Aperitivi auf, bei denen man sich kaum entscheiden kann. Und ZACK sind wir hier nicht mehr im Urlaub. Wir fühlen uns zu Hause! … Willkommen! Alle Speisen und Getränke, der komplette Service – es könnte besser nicht sein. Es hat alles hervorragend geschmeckt, war sehr schön angerichtet. Die Beratung war klasse und genau richtig. Schade, dass wir nur auf der Durchreise waren. Aber zum Glück ist die Messer jährlich. Und so wissen wir heute schon, wo wir nächstes Jahr das beste Essen bekommen werden. Nachtrag 22.06.2023 Es ist knapp 1 Jahr her, dass wir hier waren. Heute endlich wieder. Wieder von der Messe heim. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten sind anders als beim letzten Mal. Der Name zum Beispiel. Aber die Qualität ist genauso hervorragend wie bei unserem ersten Besuch! Ein Geschmackserlebnis vom Feinsten! Vielen Dank dafür! Grazie mille!!!!

Absolut grandios, nach 8 Jahren haben wir endlich unser Stamm Restaurant gefunden. Wir waren am Donnerstag, 18.5.23 das erste Mal dort und heute am 20.5.23 gleich wieder, weil es Spitzenklasse ist. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist unvergleichbar, man bekommt Authentische Süditalienische Speisen auf höchstem Niveu mit sehr fairen Preisen. Wir haben schon viele Italienische Restaurants um Pfungstadt und weiter weg probiert aber das Made in Sud lässt alle weit hinter sich und das ist nicht allein dem Essen geschuldet sondern auch der Super Atmosphäre und den Servicekräften. Man merkt das dies ein Familien Betrieb ist der das auch lebt. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen, wird wärmstens begrüßt und für jeden einzelnen Gast wird sich auch Zeit genommen, nicht nur um den Wünschen gerecht zu werden sondern auch die Wochenkarte wird jedem Gast vorgelesen und jedes Gericht erklärt. Auch sehr für Familien zu empfehlen denn die Gastgeber sind durchweg sehr kinderlieb und kümmern sich sehr Herzlich um die kleinen Gäste. Wir haben beschlossen nun mind.1x im Monat hier zu Essen und das nicht nur um unseren Hunger zu stillen, sondern auch um dieses Zauberhafte Restaurant zu Unterstützen. Danke für das leckere Essen und die außerordentlich nette Atmosphäre. Ich habe seit langem mal wieder Fisch gegessen und es war super lecker. (2 Beilagen kann man wählen. ) Zur Begrüßung gab es frisches Baguett und Oliven. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!
