Ristorante La Piazza in Herdecke

I ordered two tagliatelle dishes from Lieferando because of the good reviews. The pasta was so overcooked that it fell apart on the fork. Both dishes were swimming in very runny sauces. The white wine sauce was very acidic and the alcohol hadn't cooked off. Unfortunately, both dishes were inedible. The pizza rolls, however, were fresh and warm.

This was my first time here, and the restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent, the service superb, and the atmosphere pleasant, all complemented by a very friendly owner and a highly dedicated team. Highly recommended!

Service was great, the food was excellent. We were there Friday evening without ordering and unfortunately couldn't get a seat. We tried again Saturday lunchtime and it was a success! 😉😁! The bruschetta starter was very good, the carbonara was excellent, and the salami pizza was excellent. Everything was excellent. Extra requests were fulfilled at no extra charge, which is rare these days. Keep up the good work until next time.

We ate a very tasty vegan pizza there. They gave us good advice on everything that could be prepared vegan, whether it was pasta dishes or just pizza.

It was very busy on a Thursday evening, but there wasn't much of a wait. The food was very good (pizza, tagliatelle, lasagna). One pizza was supposed to be a child's portion, but it ended up being almost the size of a regular pizza. Leftovers were easily packed up.

According to opening hours, it's open from 4:30 PM. Arrived at 4:30 PM sharp... closed... and was sent away again. Worst service!!!

Now my favorite pizza delivery place in Herdecke. 😋 Thin crust, perfect 👌 The prices are also top-notch, in my opinion. I paid only €20.50 for the delivery of two large pizzas 🍕 (Napoli & Funghi), and the pizzas arrived warm within 35 minutes.

We often visit Herdecke and eat at La Piazza almost every time. The food and service are always good and fast. But is it necessary to charge extra for Parmesan cheese on the pasta? In my experience, cheese is generally a given with pasta. It's a shame, because otherwise it would have been full marks.

Super delicious pizza, very good service, gladly again anytime

We stopped by La Piazza today without booking and were very satisfied.

Because the pizzas here are good, I've previously rated the food 4 stars. After my last visit, I have to reduce that to 2 stars (which are only given for the pizzas). We ordered a mixed salad, among other things. They served us pizza rolls with it. When I went to take the second roll from the basket, I discovered a half-eaten roll in the basket. So I immediately took the basket to the manager and asked if other guests had had the basket with the rolls, since there was a half-eaten roll in this one. The answer was, "Maybe I don't know!" I ordered a pizza with ham, pepperoni, and peppers from the manager, but I got one without pepperoni but with a mountain of onions. When the manager asked me at the checkout if everything was okay, I mentioned all the shortcomings again. This led to him realizing he had overcharged. This was corrected, but nothing more. We will refrain from visiting there again in the future.

This was a chance visit and the surprise of the day. Very tasty and a cool atmosphere. I'd be happy to go again.

Staff don't know their own card. Boss is a bit unfriendly and tries to be funny. The portions were decent but unfortunately tasteless. The wrong drinks were charged when paying.

Actually, it could have been a really nice evening. The food was very good, the service was quick and very friendly and pleasant. The problem was that a room next door was also occupied, and the staff always had to go outside to bring drinks and food next door and also clear up. This meant that the waitress came out and in several times a minute and kept opening the door in the cold temperatures. It became too unpleasant for us, we paid quickly and went somewhere else

We had the pleasure of visiting this downtown restaurant and loved it! The Italian food was very tasty, especially the pizza and pasta. The pizzas are large and of excellent quality. The service was extremely courteous and quick. The restaurant is very centrally located, making it an ideal place for a meal during a shopping trip. However, you have to pay for parking during normal store opening hours. We'll definitely be back ❤️

Maybe we were unlucky. We ordered the expensive tuna steak, a little raw in the middle, please, from the grill. A dish came out of the pan with 4 small potatoes, some small salad and two very thin slices of tuna, greasy from the oil and well fried. That was nothing.

The food was simply great, the chef knows his craft and the service is also very friendly and attentive. All in all, a top address when it comes to Italian cuisine. Earned five out of five points. Despite the hustle and bustle of the Herdeck Autumn Festival, the selected dishes were brought to the table quickly but freshly by the friendly staff: very tasty, pizza and other things on a thin base, as it should be. We will happily visit the restaurant again.

Your menu is amazing and cannot be surpassed and the dishes go beyond your imagination, one specialty after the other. Personally, I never know what to eat. Either an excellent healthy lunch with fresh pork fillet or spaghetti Bolognese, pizza of all kinds or salad with turkey, fish, etc., it's all excellent and made with love. You dear Italians know your craft, you can cook easily and you know how to reach people's hearts. If God had not created you, something would be missing in this world. If it's full, it can take longer. The food is good, but sometimes it takes a while to get something to drink 😉

I've been waiting for my food for over an hour now and it still hasn't arrived. The service is incredibly slow and disorganized. Even simple orders take far too long. When I asked the staff about the circumstances, they reacted very unfriendly and uninterested. To make matters worse, the card payment took forever. I definitely won't recommend this pizzeria and won't visit it again. Disappointing!

I recently visited this Italian restaurant and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The wait was incredibly long even though the restaurant wasn't full. The service also left a lot to be desired - the waitress was unfriendly and inattentive. To my surprise, there was no herb butter with the pizza rolls, which I would have expected from an Italian restaurant. When the pasta finally came, it was unfortunately poorly prepared. Overall a very disappointing experience. I definitely won't be coming back.

I am usually a regular at this restaurant and have eaten there many times, but my last visit on May 11, 2024 left me very disappointed. While I was drinking my wine, I wasn't even asked if I was okay. When I returned with my girlfriend on May 12, 2024 and we sat at a table outside, we were served again by the same waiter. He came up to us, called us on a first name basis and told us that the table was reserved and that we should put our stroller somewhere else. He treated us disrespectfully in front of other guests. In addition, there was no reservation on the table. Because of this disrespectful treatment we decided to leave the restaurant.

The pizza was super delicious and the pasta too. Price is ok. Service is also great. Come back soon.

Ich bin immer wieder begeistert von diesem Restaurant. Die Pizza ist immer lecker und das Personal und der Inhaber zuvorkommend.

Schöner Italiener mit gutem Essen. Diese Pizzeria ist besonders auch im Aussenbereich zu empfehlen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Leckere Pizza, flotter und freundlicher Service

Ein kleines, aber feines italienisches Restaurant mit einer ganz hervorragenden Küche und einem bemerkenswert schnellen, guten und äußerst zuvorkommendem Service. Die von uns verzehrten Gerichte waren heiß, was leider nicht überall der Fall ist, appetitlich angerichtet, geschmacklich vom Allerfeinsten und äußerst bekömmlich. Die Salate waren knackig frisch und ebenfalls sehr lecker. Der Getränkenachschub klappte bei unserer Familienfeier im separaten Raum ebenso gut. Der Kaffee war angenehm kräftig, die Kaltgetränke wirklich kalt und kohlensäurehaltig. Klingt normal, ist es aber leider nicht überall. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen garantiert gerne wieder. Eine echte Entdeckung!

Hervorragend! Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen worden und haben aufgrund des Wetters draußen gesessen. Dort sitzt man, obwohl nahe der Straße, einfach herrlich und kann eine beinahe Urlaubsatmosphäre genießen. Haben uns für 3x Pizza entschieden, weil die am Nachbartisch wirklich köstlich aussah. Eine gute Wahl, die Optik hat nicht zuviel versprochen - geschmacklich wirklich spitze! 50,- € für drei Abendessen inkl. Getränken sind, insbesondere weil es wirklich vorzüglich geschmeckt hat, absolut iO. Kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren überglücklich, als wir um 21:00 Uhr noch so herzlich begrüßt worden sind ! Ich hatte ein Tagesbericht (Nudeln mit Garnelen & Käse überbacken sowie pikant ) und meine Freunde Pizza. Alle waren sehr sehr sehr zufrieden ! Auch auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen (Schärfe) Es war etwas Knoblauchlastig aber das störte uns nicht ! Es gab einen großen Außenbereich der gut besucht war ! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen !

Sehr gutes Essen, sei es Pizza, Pasta oder Salate. Draussen kann man schön auf dem Platz sitzen, das Ambiente drinnen ist eher dunkel und gedrungen. Die Kellner:innen sind zügig, aber manchmal etwas patzig.

Hier habe ich heute eine sehr sehr leckere Pizza gegessen. Der Service war flott.Der Pizzaboden dünn und schön knusprig. Der Belag Spaghetti und Bolognese Soße sehr lecker. Lange nicht mehr eine so gute Bolognese gegessen. Preis Leistung auf jeden Fall gerechtfertigt. Gerne wieder.

Essen war super lecker. Jedoch in Mittagskarte jede große Pizza 9,90€. Mit den Ausnahmen, die auf der Karte ersichtlich sind. Habe mir die Pizza Neptun bestellt. War nicht auf den Ausnahmen aufgeführt, also 9,90€. Bei Rechnung wurde mir jedoch der volle Preis berechnet. Nach Rücksprache mit Chef, sagte mir die Bedienung, es wäre ein Fehler in der Karte. Eigentlich ja nicht mein Problem, habe trotzdem zahlen müssen. Finde ich nicht korrekt.

Gutes Essen, freundlicher Service. Leider sehr laut im Restsurant. Wenn diverse Küchen- und Espressomaschinen laufen, ist eine Unterhaltung am Tisch nicht möglich.

Beste Pizzeria am Ort. Nachdem es leider im Service vor Ort ein paar Probleme gab, waren wir eine Weile nicht dort. Aber jetzt ist alles super! Service war schnell, korrekt und freundlich. Das Essen (Pizza, Pasta, Antipasti) sowieso. Gerne wieder!

Die Pizza war durchschnittlich. Eine Cola war zu viel auf der Rechnung, grundsätzlich etwas zu teuer für die Qualität. Wie gesagt Durchschnitt. Schöne Location draußen.

Eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, faire Preise und weil es gerade im Sommer sehr zum verweilen einlädt, sollte man im Vorfeld einen Tisch reservieren.
