Ristorante La Fontana in Schwarmstedt

We ate here for the first time today, based on a recommendation, and had a lovely evening, great service and delicious food. We'd love to come back.

Pleasant atmosphere, very authentic owners whose origins cannot be denied (in a positive sense). When asked why you don't get a table until 8 p.m. (on a public holiday), you have to get the answer first: it's not our fault that we're so horny! Above all, it doesn't come across as arrogant, that was great cinema 😁 The food was outstanding, from Italian salad to pasta to pizza. It can happen that I leave the edge of the pizza left over, in which case the edge was so delicious that I had to eat it even though nothing else was actually possible. Only my special request for onions on the pizza was forgotten, but that was completely free. A sincere apology was made and the manner of service made up for it all.

The bruschetta was too boring for me. A few onions and a little parmesan would have made the whole thing a lot tastier. The food was quite good so far. It wasn't our first time here. Will definitely come back

Family reunion at La Fontana in Schwarmstedt: We are thrilled! We have been here many times with friends, now with 15 people, we came from Bremen and met here to feast + very nicely set table in a nice ambience + Starter plates were pre-ordered and they were very good + we ordered a la carte: fish, steak, fillet, lamb and chicken, pizza, spaghetti,...very different, very individual...everything came at the same time, everything was prepared right to the point, everything was very tasty! We sat next to the Scorpions grotto, which is in the middle of the restaurant. How amazed were the three hard rockers among us when they saw them for the first time - real hard rock guitars on the wall, and then the innkeeper said to us: "Maybe one of them will stop by today...if you want, I'll let you know" and 20 Minutes later it was time: group photo with Rudolf Schenker with a short hello! + the hospitality was as super nice as always, perfect support even for a larger group like us: nice, attentive, ... a big thank you to the whole team!

Absolutely the best restaurant in the area. Great boss, great TEAM, great selection, fair prices, pleasant atmosphere and great pizzas. Thank you for your effort!

Wow! One of the best Italian restaurants! The food was so special, the pizza is one of a kind. We had the fungi and the black olives pizaa. Tomato soup, Salads, And more.. The food was well seasoned, the ingredients fresh and delicious.

There were five of us here and got a table in the beer garden without a reservation. Very friendly staff. We have nothing wrong with the food. Price performance is right.

What's the point of having delicious food and a good atmosphere if you're being ripped off by the snooty staff. I had ordered 9 dishes to pick up, but when I counted I only came up with 8. When I asked, we went through everything together (he on the receipt and I on the note I wrote down) and I was assured that there were two Bruscettas in one box. I then confidently accepted the 8 boxes, gave a tip of around €8 and, somewhat hesitantly, received the bill. Unfortunately I didn't look back at the bill until halfway through... There were only 8 dishes on it. Unfortunately, someone had to go hungry. Because going back again and eating everything cold wasn't an option either. What I absolutely don't understand is why they didn't just say that something was missing, I would have waited a moment. I didn't pay more than necessary but that's not my point. Rather, it's about the obvious lie. Because the condition (possibly the boss, at least that's how he behaved) must have clearly recognized that only 1 x Bruscetta was on the bill. Very unfortunate

It was our first time at Ristorante La Fontana and it was very well attended. We were there with six people. All the staff were very friendly. The restaurant was very nice, clean and friendly. The room at the back where we were allowed to sit down was a bit too narrow for me, since the neighboring table was also full, 5 people would have had to get up if I wanted to leave my seat. The quality of the food was good. The service was very friendly and competent.

Food was delicious. Service totally courteous and helpful. Antipasti plate was very tasty and is recommended. Ambience could be a bit more modern, but maybe that's a matter of taste.

Personale cordiale e veloce, cibo molto buono, vera cucina italiana, porzioni abbondanti e prezzi giusti. Non vedo cosa altro si può chiedere. Unica pecca: non ho potuto pagare con carta, a detta del proprietario a causa di un problema al pos. Consigliato.

We've been there more often now, it's nice that you can now go there spontaneously, which was almost impossible before! The food is great and the staff is nice too! Once we were there longer than the opening times stated... we were still provided with drinks again, THANK YOU 🥰 Now we were here again after a long time. Pizza was super delicious!! The ravioli was delicious, at least the sauce (I was only allowed to taste it) but it was almost just an appetizer. And when I say that, it means something 🙈

I'm really excited. Nice staff, very good price/performance ratio. The ambience is harmonious and the men's toilet is very clean. I can't say anything about the summer garden (sat in it). All in all, I can only warmly recommend it 😀👍

I'm simply thrilled with Ristorante La Fontana❤️ Starting with the very clean toilet and a handicapped cabin, to the great service that even wanted to bring my little dog a bowl of water. Now the most important thing is the food, a real dream. I have rarely eaten pizza and spaghetti as good as here. The pizza has a dream base with perfectly baked cheese, the spagetti carbonara and bolognese are simply delicious. The highlight of our stopover was an older couple with a walker who received a prepared meal. A big thumbs up. We will be back... P.S. We couldn't wait for the photo 🤤

Delicious pizzas, the homemade pizza rolls as a starter were also great. Service warm and quick. Absolute recommendation! We managed to get a spot at short notice, but reservations are safer.

I stayed in the hotel next door and found it practical to have the Italian restaurant right in the house. I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the food came quickly even though the shop was busy. The food was extremely tasty (risotto) and the portion was very generous despite the quality. The dry house wine (red) was also great. Price/performance is right here. From my point of view, top marks in all respects apart from the ambience! Highly recommended!

Super delicious food. If necessary, you will receive helpful recommendations. Very attentive and friendly staff. The table was beautifully decorated for our small family celebration and, in addition to warm congratulations, the anniversary couple was served Tartufo ice cream with sparklers for dessert. Delicious food Gnocchi Gorgonzola can only be recommended and the pizza recommendation (asparagus, beef) was super tasty, service (the young lady) was very attentive and friendly.

Unfortunately I have to rate the food negatively. I had a rump steak and mushroom cream sauce... unfortunately there was a tomato mushroom sauce directly on the meat. The rump steak can't imagine a bigger kick in the face. In what world is a pink fried steak so messed up? Plus with a sauce that isn't on the menu. However, the service was very, very nice and gets my 2 stars. Unfortunately the kitchen is no good.

Last night we got a place for 4 people without a reservation, a friendly welcome with authentic service and good Italian cuisine. Unfortunately the pasta was overcooked, but the carbonara sauce was very tasty, which made up for it a bit. Otherwise absolutely recommended and worth mentioning the grappa is world class! We will be back.

An Italian restaurant, just the way you want it, with a great atmosphere, cozy with very nice seating areas for special occasions. The staff are excellent, take care of you attentively and respond to your wishes. The food and drinks are a dream, varied, rich and Italian delights.

Actually an excellent Italian restaurant! The food, the ambience, tasty, delicious and very good. Unfortunately, the service, including the boss, was relatively arrogant, not really attentive, you had the feeling that it was a real "mercy" to be able to eat here and be served... that's a shame. I missed the Italian hospitality, the charm and the advice, or let's say the animation. Questions were only answered briefly and in passing; there was no recommendation, a kind word for the New Year, an aperitif or any kind gesture. The boss was polite and very interested in his regular guests, but as strangers we were served marginally. I thought that was a real shame because the food was really delicious and you never know who is sitting and eating with you. Every reasonable guest should have the right to good hospitality.

We are now regular customers and like to take them too 20 km journey in purchase. The food, the service, everything is excellent and we really enjoy being guests at La Fontana :-). Vielen Dank! 30 hungrige Hochzeitsgäste und kein Catering. Ristorante La Fontana ist spontan auf einen Freitagabend eingesprungen und hat uns innerhalb 1 Stunde superlecker beliefert, mit Essen Wärmebehältern und auch an Besteck und Geschirr gedacht. Hochzeit gerettet, Braut und Bräutigam glücklich. So konnte weiter gefeiert werden! Unglaublich schön! Mille Grazie!

Wir ( mein Sohn und ich ) waren auf einem Freitag Abend dort weil ich keine Lust hatte mich in die Küche zu stellen . Geplant war Pizza und geworden ist es Pasta und Rinderfilet . Essen war Sau lecker , Service stimmt , Ambiente ist Geschmackssache, man sitzt bequem und hat ausreichend Platz , denke das ist alles was zählt . Man geht zum Essen hin und nicht um sich auf dem Sofa zu lümmeln . Wir sind voll und ganz begeistert und werden diese Woche die Pizzen probieren . Für uns hat alles gepasst und dann gibt man auch gerne mal Trinkgeld...

Leckeres Essen, gute Atmosphäre und eine sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung.

Wir waren heute zu viert hier. Die 3 Pizzen waren gut belegt und knusprig. Die Bandnudeln mit Lachs waren ebenfalls super. Als Nachtisch gab es Tiramisu mit Limone. Mal was ganz außergewöhnliches, was auch sehr lecker war. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Ich kenne diesen Italiener schon, seit ich klein bin.Etwas aus den Augen verloren und dieses Jahr wieder für mich entdeckt. Es schmeckt immer noch, wie 1996!! Einfach sehr sehr gute Qualität und die Rezeptur ist geblieben. Was leider sehr sehr selten in so vielen Jahren ist. Die Portionen sind groß und das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Personal ist wirklich immer freundlich, trotz vollem Lokal.(Kenne das Lokal nur voll) Mein Hund darf auch immer mit und wird sehr nett begrüßt. Das Ambiente ist sehr geschmackvoll und elegant. Ich kann diesen Italiener wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Von mir 5 Sterne Plus.

Wir waren jetzt zum dritten Mal hier und wie zuvor begeistert vom leckeren Geschmack aller Speisen, ob Vorspeisen, Pizza oder Pasta. Es gibt auch noch viel mehr, nur sind wir noch nicht soweit durch... Wer Carbonara mag: Hier gibt es sie wahlweise auch nach italienischem Originalrezept mit Ei und Speck statt Kochschinken und Sahne: Ein Gedicht! Beim letzten Mal konnten wir uns nicht auf eine Vorspeisenauswahl einigen und baten uns die Auswahl abzunehmen. Für drei Personen bekamen wir eine Platte groß wie ein Backblech voller Leckereien. Besser hätten wir es nicht treffen können! Ja, am Ende waren wir zu dritt 160€ los, waren dafür aber auch satt, rundum glücklich und leicht duhn, denn zwei Flaschen Wein waren da auch mit drin. Dieser Familienbetrieb ist jetzt schon unser Lieblingsitaliener. Zu Spitzenzeiten rate ich zur Tischreservierung.

Essen war sehr gut und das Personal stets freundlich! Wir hatte eine große Pizza und Pasta und beides war lecker. Das Tiramisu ist tatsächlich empfehlenswert.

Wir haben Pizza, Pasta und Salat bestellt. Alles war schnell zubereitet und SEHR SEHR lecker. Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Restaurant sowie das WC waren sehr sauber. Schönes Ambiente. Und kinderfreundlich! Ein herausragend gutes Restaurant wo man für wenig Geld köstlich essen kann.
