Super Essen dort und sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Schönes Ambiente mit sitzen auch im Freien. Mitten in Rodgau-Dudenhofen . Sehr zu empfehlen auch die Preise sind angenehm.

Schönes ital. Restaurant. Service prima. Ital Salat und Pizza sind in Ordnung, wenn auch das Bratöl des Hühnchen beim Salat oder das Gewürz nicht meine Welt war. Zu den anderen Gerichten kann ich nichts sagen. Baguette ggf. schmackhafter?

Update: Heute gab es als Mittagsmenü Rumpsteak. Es war entsprechend voll und ich bekam als Einzelperson einen Vierertisch zugewiesen. Allerdings hatte ich von der Suppe noch nicht die Hälfte gegessen, da wurde schon das Hauptgericht serviert. Man wollte wohl, daß der Tisch möglichst schnell wieder frei wird. Ich werde erst wiederkommen, wenn man draußen sitzen kann und dann mehr Platz ist. Vor 8 Monaten: Mittagsmenü Argentinisches Rumpsteak mit reichlich Spargel inklusive Salat und Dessert in ausgezeichneter Qualität! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Il Capitano ist ein sehr gemütliches italienisches Restaurant, in dem man sich von Anfang an willkommen fühlt. Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgen für eine angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre. Besonders positiv ist, dass man nicht lange auf das Essen warten muss – die Speisen werden schnell serviert, ohne dass dabei an Qualität gespart wird. Sowohl die Pasta als auch die Pizza sind sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich wirklich überzeugend. Das Restaurant ist innen sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Zusätzlich gibt es eine schöne Terrasse, auf der man bei gutem Wetter entspannt draußen sitzen und essen kann. Auch preislich kann Il Capitano überzeugen: Die Preise sind fair und passen sehr gut zur gebotenen Qualität. Insgesamt ein tolles italienisches Restaurant mit gutem Essen, freundlichem Service und angenehmem Ambiente. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann Il Capitano auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Da gehen wir sicherlich wieder hin

Wenn wir mal in der Nähe sind (kommen aus dem Taunus) , dann kommen wir sehr gerne ins Il Capitano, egal wann wir da waren, es war immer wunderbar, angefangen von den schön eingedeckten Tischen im Saal, über die Bedingungen bis hin zum Chef und natürlich das sensationelle frische Essen alle freundlich, zuvorkommend, nett & lecker 😋. ✨Zum Dessert gab's dann eine leckere Tiramisu, schmeckt einfach super. ✨

Als regelmäßige Deutschlandreisende wissen wir, dass viele Restaurants sonntags geschlossen sind und die, die es sind, mitunter einen eher zweifelhaften Ruf haben. Bei einem kürzlichen Besuch in Dudenhofen hatten wir das Glück, dieses Restaurant zu entdecken, und wir sind restlos begeistert. Schon beim Betreten merkte man, dass es ein Familienbetrieb ist und die Inhaber mit viel Liebe zum Detail arbeiten. Das Essen war durchweg hervorragend und der Service aufmerksam und professionell. Meine Frau meinte, es sei die beste Pizza, die sie je gegessen habe, und wollte sie am liebsten ganz für sich behalten.

SEHR sehr leckere Pizza! Die Rumpsteaks sind auch sehr gut! Seit neuem gibt es auch Glutenfreie Pizza und Pasta! Auch die Glutenfreie Pizza ist der Hammer 🤩.

The food was good. But the restaurant was very crowded in my opinion. The tables were very close together. You could easily hear the conversations at the next tables.

A highly recommended pizzeria! The service is top-notch – the staff are always friendly, attentive, and cheerful. What's especially nice is that the owner himself is almost always there, taking time for his guests and speaking personally with them – this creates a truly family-friendly atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, freshly prepared, and simply authentic Italian. Everything is also very clean and well-maintained. We'd definitely love to come back – everything is just perfect here! 🍕🇮🇹

Delivery time was stated as 35-50 minutes. We waited 1.45 hours. We called several times to ask if and when the delivery would arrive. We then drove there ourselves, but no apology. The pizza was delicious.

I "landed" here by chance! I'm really sorry I didn't come here sooner, especially since I live in Dudenhofen. Very nice location. It doesn't smell of food or anything "stale." The owner and staff understand a lot about service and customer loyalty! I'm greeted as if I were a regular. Mind you, the friendliness and "care for the customer" aren't fake! You really feel welcome here! And now for the menu: Everyone will find something to their taste here. It's primarily focused on Italian cuisine, without forgetting international dishes. Most reviewers write "good value for money." I think that's too simplistic. This has been my 5th time here! I started with a pizza; pasta, Argentinian fillet steak, and finally a salad with rump steak strips. All the dishes were not only freshly prepared, they also included fresh side dishes! The taste has always impressed me with the excellent cuisine. Here, you have to cook with love, otherwise it wouldn't taste so delicious. More than just a thumbs up! Organizational Notes: It's a good idea to reserve a table if you're planning on dining with someone special! Plenty of parking is available at the rear of the restaurant. In the summer, there's also a large beer garden. A separate room is available for events. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Excellent Italian cuisine. If you're looking for something different, you'll definitely find something delicious on the menu. Dishes can also be ordered to go. If you appreciate personalized service, Capitano is the place for you. Cozy outdoor area with a roofed terrace. There are a few parking spaces in the courtyard, but you can always find a spot on the street by the farm.

1 star, €11.50 for a piece of outrageous food on a plate I went to eat at the store and thought I'd treat myself... Well, what arrived was a pizza, served on a plate that could have come straight from a culinary nightmare. The cheese was completely dried out, as if it had been baked three days ago and reheated today. No string, no melting, just hard and tasteless like plastic. The onions? Unbelievable. Huge, raw pieces, just thrown on like in a cafeteria. No frying, no browning, just raw clumps of onion that made me wonder if I was going to cry or die just chewing them. And the sucuk? Greasy, tough, very thin slices, and unloved. A disappointment in taste, an insult in appearance. And now the best joke: €11.50 for this outrage, and on a plate, with a knife and fork, as if it were a serious meal. I was almost ashamed that I paid for it. The only good thing about it was that the pizza was crispy. Never again.

Very delicious Italian food. There's a wide selection of starters and main courses, as well as some great non-alcoholic drinks like Hugo. The pasta dishes are highly recommended. Seasonal dishes are also offered.

I gave the salad with turkey breast strips a second chance, but this time, too, the meat was completely dry... The portion was quite large, though. It's very loud in the restaurant, but the seating is actually very pleasant, and the service is friendly.

It was okay, but we don't need it a second time. The pepperoni pizza was well seasoned, but the crust felt like frozen dough. The creamy schnitzel was a disappointment. Far too much cream sauce, which was so thin and didn't taste like much. The fries that came with it were very soft... All in all, very poor value. The price/performance ratio just wasn't right at all.

We were at an event in the large hall. The service was attentive and the service with drinks and food was very quick and well coordinated before the start. The a la carte food offered a large selection and was good.

Were there on Christmas Day. Larger group with 9 participants. Menu with choice of starter and main course. There was also a slightly reduced day ticket. The food (menu as well as individual dishes) was very tasty. Prices are medium and the quality is very reasonable. The 200g thick rump steaks were also excellently prepared, which is unfortunately often a problem with thick pieces of meat in many other restaurants due to incorrect preparation. Drink prices are also reasonable, not as exorbitant as in many other restaurants. Combined with good service, an extremely pleasant visit. Therefore gladly again.

This was by far the best seafood pizza I've had in a long time. The wine was at the perfect temperature and the cup of espresso was also preheated. There's no arguing about the quality of the drinks, I was extremely satisfied. The service is very attentive and polite. As you leave you will be greeted in a polite and friendly manner. The perfect Italian. What can I say? Everything is just right. The food is so delicious that you could really indulge, the waiters are totally attentive and really nice. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. After just two visits it has become our absolute favorite Italian restaurant.

We were there for the Italian evening. Great mood. Music good. Food very good Unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours for the food. The reason was that the power in the kitchen was out for 30 minutes.

Ordered food almost 2 hours ago, nothing there so far and when I try to ask/reach someone by phone, no one even answers the phone. How poor is that?

A few days before, I had reserved a table for 4 people for lunch on Easter Sunday. When we arrived, they couldn't find my reservation, then we were led out of the restaurant into a huge side room with a stage and bar. It was a sunny day, but it was dark and cool here. Few windows and Christmas decorations were still hanging. If I had had the information when making the reservation, I would NEVER have made a reservation here. A terrible room. And the card was different too. The food was okay if you like baked ham and stuff like that on your pizza. The service was quick and friendly, but we didn't feel comfortable. This was to get the biggest possible profit for Easter. I can only advise against it for public holidays. Ask beforehand where you are sitting. I'm not going there again. 2 points are still friendly.
