I waited almost 2 hours for my food. In the end, it arrived only lukewarm.

The food could have been better. I had watered down minestrone and the a typical Bolognese pasta, with so much tomato sauce, I was searching for pasta. The waitress favored the German speaking patrons over others and lastly the atmosphere was ok.... Nothing stood out.

We always go here when we're in Rosenheim. Very friendly service, and the food is truly delicious. There's also a good selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

On my Pizza Diavolo, the toppings were completely forgotten, and it was the only pizza (42cm) without a spacer, which meant the top was full and soggy. Otherwise, good.

We ordered for lunch today. The food was delivered within 30 minutes, which was great. We had two lasagnas and a mozzarella pizza. The lasagna was an absolute disgrace (see picture). It was just soup with a few lasagna sheets in between, completely runny, and almost entirely tomato sauce. There was hardly any ground meat or other ingredients. And for €13. The pizza had good toppings but unfortunately wasn't cooked all the way through.

The ice cream we ate outside was delicious. The service was very friendly. Of course, it's very noisy on the street.

We were there at the end of September 2025 and each had a pizza. The pizzas were generously sized and well-topped for around €12.50. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly.

Went there today with a friend and didn't have bad memories of the restaurant, but that changed today! Unbelievable, rude and unfriendly service. We quickly felt unwelcome. We were given a menu and after 2 minutes we were asked if we knew what we wanted to eat... in a really annoyed tone. The food was brought to the table quickly, tasted very bland and in no way reflected Italian cuisine. Gnocci with very few scampi which were very dry. Price and service are really outrageous! Compliments to the 2 younger waitresses who were very friendly, the older lady could really learn a thing or two from them! We won't be visiting this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, it's gone down quite a bit. We ordered a large 🍕 and a Caser salad. I was extremely disappointed, as my salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, 6 slices of cucumber, grated cheese (not Parmesan), rock-hard croutons, and turkey strips that were quite good, and the yogurt dressing inspired me to post this review!!! Oh, and the 1/4 lemon 🍋 was also included. Since I know exactly how to prepare a Caser salad, I was extremely disappointed. The large pizza turned into a regular pizza. The toppings on the pizza were very good, but the crust was really hard, and the pizza got cold very quickly. I'd rather not write anything about the service; I left a tip accordingly.

I went there for lunch and ordered pasta with a drink. The food arrived quickly, but unfortunately without cutlery – it can happen, but it's not a big deal. Worse still was that the pasta tasted absolutely terrible. After just a few minutes, I asked to pay. The waitress immediately took the money without even asking why the plate was returned practically untouched or if there was anything wrong. This kind of behavior comes across as indifferent and unfriendly. It gives the impression that they're used to customers not liking their food and simply leaving. On top of that, the restaurant didn't seem particularly clean. Conclusion: Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it – neither for the food nor the service.

I've ordered several times, and it's gotten worse and worse. Side dishes are always missing. I don't even need to start talking about the "mixed salad with three half tomato slices and three small cucumber slices." Instead of lasagna, they serve a completely different dish, and if you order a special addition, which costs €2, it's not even included. No thanks, that's enough!

We recently visited the restaurant to inspect our parking space, and the owner treated us to a pizza to thank us for our cooperation. Regardless, I have to say it was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Excellent preparation; I highly recommend the restaurant.

A clean kitchen, they actually pay attention to hygiene. Friendly staff, top-notch food. What more could you want? For me, this is my favorite Italian restaurant in town.

I was a guest there years ago and actually had fond memories of the restaurant. The older, Italian waiter was very friendly, and the food was okay. The two of us ate there while passing through, and it really wasn't good. The terrace was very dirty, covered in cobwebs and small creatures and insects. The service was unenthusiastic, and the food was rather poorly prepared and presented. A waste of money. I would never eat there again.

Someone recommended this place to us as we were passing through. There were seven of us. Nice, friendly staff. Even with seven people, we didn't wait too long. The pizzas were delicious. Highly recommended.

We've been eating there for years, and it was great, even with family. The food was excellent and the price was fair. Unfortunately, today we quickly noticed that either the owner or the staff had changed ingredients. The pizza was large, but 1. the dough wasn't really pizza, more like pita or something similar. 2. the side dishes were "cheaper," salami, etc. The Dirndl cannelloni were tasteless, except for the ricotta. My wife's grilled salmon salad was served without lemon, and the portion was quite a bit smaller. The pizza bread also quickly became hard and made from the same "pita/flatbread" dough. It felt like they were skimping on everything. The service seemed disinterested or rushed. Asking if everything was okay is fine, but then just moving on?! There wasn't really much going on. Everything became clear when we got the bill. Just over €100 for 4 people? It was clear they were skimping on everything. Consistent quality and attentive service are better! Customer service to build loyalty! It should be an experience, which would bring in more customers. Better quality, better processing of the raw materials—I would have gladly paid more.

What a shame, a real shame. We always drove all the way from Tyrol to Gardena because we were always very satisfied. The waitress back then about a year ago was very attentive and super friendly. Today, August 10, 2025. A disaster: salt & pepper minage dirty, salt was practically sticking to the floor. Vinegar/oil bottles were dirty. The waitress was blonde. She has no experience in this profession. Artificial nails, you think she mixes the witches' cocktail in the evening. When I asked if everything was okay, I didn't make eye contact during the marathon run, she turned her back to our table. The food, pizza with less toppings, that is 100% not original pizza dough. The white pizza bread fell apart in 3 minutes, hard like puff pastry. Cannelloni filled with ricotta - spinach had no taste, the sauce was probably thrown together in the cold. No seasoning. My Principessa salad with grilled salmon was missing the lemon. A no go! The salad was considerably reduced in quantity. When paying, we asked if there had been any changes to the kitchen. The waitress gave us a dry "Yes." Then we asked if they had a dessert called "Vesivio." Because they hadn't had any the other day. She said "No." Then I asked myself: Why don't they take something like that off the menu? If they haven't made this dessert for a year!! As a former restaurateur (chef/restaurant manager), I'm very disappointed. From the service to the lack of dessert. Not to mention the changed kitchen. Gastronomy should be improved, both inside and outside, from service to the kitchen. Unfortunately, only one star. I'd prefer none at all. We won't be coming back!! PS: We also missed the Italian music/radio.

Very unfriendly staff. Today I was often watched by a man while I was eating, a member of staff or something. I have often driven past all the way from Austria and a year ago the food was much better and softer. I ordered a pizza bread which was rock hard after 12 minutes. The chef's pizza had no taste. I had to add extra hot sauce and garlic and then there was minimal taste but otherwise it was dead. To be honest, I really won't be coming back. Very disappointing 😪😪

My wife had spaghetti aglio and was very satisfied. I had a tuna salad with just oil and vinegar. A dressing was available for an additional €2.00. Potato slices in the salad took some getting used to.

And why shouldn't I be allowed to drink my Coke, which I bought earlier and wasn't finished yet?? I wouldn't have bought any of them anyway, because it doesn't taste good and is overpriced. 💀💀

Delivery: Unfortunately, things are going downhill. Salads are regularly drenched in sauce and barely edible. They often forget to add a side dish when delivering, so you only get plain strips of veal. I don't feel responsible for anyone in a restaurant. So, I wouldn't order from there again!

I was here 35 years ago when I was a child. If it's the same owner, it's still there. It was a kiosk then. The food was great. The people were very kind.

I had it delivered two hours later, and the food arrived cold, and the price for the panna cotta was ridiculous. The driver was very nice, though.

Extremely negative delivery service, driving around town as if they were the only one on the road, then giving them the middle finger when you suggest that's not the case. Next time, they'll file a complaint for the middle finger! If that's what service and the understanding of service are all about... then good night :-(

Unfortunately not recommended, we ordered through Lieferando, waited for over an hour, the food arrived cold... and you can't even write a review because the order wasn't marked as delivered... the peppers and mushrooms were canned, so nothing fresh... totally disappointing and won't order again.

Ordered something again today for a long time, cannelloni with spinach filling, rigatoni al forno... well, they weren't cannelloni or they were no longer a bunch of pasta mush, unfortunately there were no words to describe the taste, a shame about the money. I won't say any more about it now...

Unfortunately you have to give a star because I actually don't know what I should give a star for. Already ordered several times from gardena. Something was always missing. But today it was catastrophic. The food tasted totally artificial and the sauce tasted like pure alcohol. Simply not edible. Called, new food came. But no compensation was even provided. You will never order anything to eat there again! It is not recommended! Then the supplier came again and we had the noodles replaced and it tasted even worse - like plastic and fish and the noodles weren't warm either. Just disgusting!

I looked at the menu posted at the front door and decided to eat here. At the table I was given a menu with significantly higher prices. When I asked why there were different prices on the menu in the restaurant than at the entrance, I was told that the menu at the entrance was old. I got up and left. On principle.

Now that was pretty disappointing. We've actually had pretty good experiences with the Gardena so far. The prices are relatively high and thanks to the delivery service you are not solely dependent on other delivery services, but you actually always get real value for your money. Until now. Ordered extras on the pizzas have often just been charged for but never delivered, so you don't order any extras anymore. Well, okay. Today we ordered a Popeye pizza and a Fantasia pizza, each with extra garlic. The garlic was charged for but not delivered. Since extra garlic costs a hefty €1.50 per pizza, we were cheated out of that amount. The pizzas themselves were disappointing: the base was dry, biscuit and devoid of flavor apart from the bitter substances caused by the burnt areas, the topping was rather sparse and largely devoid of seasoning and taste. Especially with the Popeye, you definitely noticed that the sugo probably came straight from the tube and the spinach came straight from the freezer. The Fantasia tasted mainly of the salt from the anchovies. To then charge an impressive €21.90 for this is cheeky. Gardena used to be really good at that, but that's probably a thing of the past. In any case, our conclusion: we will either bake the next pizza ourselves or someone else will deliver it. In any case, I won't be throwing my hard-earned money down Gardena's throat again.

I have never eaten such a bad starter plate: the “large” starter plate for €17.50 (!) was a total failure! 3 pickled onion rings, 8 pieces of pepper, a large lettuce leaf with lemon (?) that took up a quarter of the plate, a breaded slice of eggplant, orange pieces (?), a corner of pizza bread and, to top it off, potato salad - what does that do on an Italian starter plate ? No olives, no mushrooms, no tomatoes, no mozzarella, no fennel or whatever else belongs on a decent starter plate. Absolutely disappointing! After complaining, no concessions regarding the price. Gardena was a really good Italian restaurant when I was younger (30 years ago), and I'm sure you won't see me again!

We ate at Gardena in Rosenheim quite often and were always satisfied. Today I was served the wrong dish (the spinach was simply forgotten with the gnocchi). By the time I received my ordered meal, which was supplemented with spinach, my friends had almost finished eating. What kind of “cheap” napkins are these, Kleenex wipes are even better in quality. This means that regular customers cannot be retained. City checks are no longer accepted, so the “Gardena” is no longer interesting for us. It's a shame, as the customers are becoming fewer.

We always went there in the evenings to eat pizza, but last time there was a new waitress there (with long artificial nails) who seemed super annoyed, had an argument with her boss and obviously didn't want to do her job. She had forgotten to equip the table with new cutlery and placed the drinks on the table so that she held the edge of the glass with four fingers. Disgusting!! She didn't come up with the idea of ​​lighting the candle at the table either. Not to mention the salt jar was empty, we had to beg for one of the salt mills that were on the other tables. I hope this service no longer works there, otherwise the R. Gardena has lost 4 customers!

I have been a guest for over 20 years. The last visit was this week... The pizza wasn't good. No comparison at all to the last few years. And we were given paper towels (Zewa) as napkins. The Gardena has lost loyal guests

The lasagna wasn't bad per se, but if you just put it in the microwave from the fridge, you should make sure that not only the sauce on the outside is hot, but also the inside of the lasagna. I've been here several times now and I'm thrilled every time! The owner is incredibly hospitable and super nice, you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. This time I brought a friend with me and she was absolutely thrilled too. She ordered the lasagna with arugula salad and a dessert for dessert - everything tasted great! I myself had the Spaghetti Garnier with antipasti and a Pizza Panne which was simply fantastic. My friend even said that she hadn't had such good food in ages. An absolute highlight for anyone who appreciates good food and a warm atmosphere. Clear recommendation!

We haven't ordered anything in 2 years because the pizza was either delivered after 3 hours or came wrong. Our new attempt was an absolute failure. Terrible pizza, tasteless, the base didn't open and half of the ingredients were missing. That was definitely the last time we ordered here.

As a local, I have known the place for a long time and have noticed that it has gone downhill in recent years. Nevertheless, we always had pizzas delivered to work at lunchtime. This service has also left something to be desired for some time, but what we experienced recently was beyond annoying. To say goodbye to a colleague, we ordered pizzas again and specifically said that we wanted to eat on time because of an appointment, which we were assured of. Despite repeated calls, the pizzas were only delivered to us 50 minutes later and almost cold. In addition, instead of the 6 we ordered, we only received 5 pizzas, so one less (and of course we didn't pay more). My colleagues and I were more than disappointed and quite angry. This store definitely lost us as customers with the campaign. In the meantime, we have learned that colleagues from other departments have also recently had negative experiences with the delivery service. One department even didn't receive its order at all. It's just a shame that you can't give negative points. Never again Gardena.

Very tasty crispy pizza and a full-bodied espresso. The staff was also very friendly and the food was ready after 15 minutes. Definitely recommended, especially with the central location.

Wir machten auf der Reise nach Verona Zwischenstopp in Rosenheim, suchten ein Restaurant fürs Abendessen – und fanden Italien sozusagen schon dort in der Bahnhofstraße!! Schon wenn man die Speisekarte liest, sieht man: Hier ist jemand kreativ über die Standardrezepte hinaus. Das merkt man auch bei den Pizze. Und sie sind soo schön kross und leicht gebacken zugleich, der Belag wirkt beim Servieren ganz frisch – es war einfach eine große Freude!! Dazu die freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Alles so, wie es sein soll.

Ordered steak but never got asked how we liked it cooked and it barely was.. Blood and veins put me off although I appreciate this is how Germans usually cook steak.. not for me personally
