Celebrated a birthday with 13 people. The appetizer platter was varied and delicious. The sea bream was excellent, as was the beef fillet! The vegetable side dish was perfect. The tiramisu was also excellent, and not too sweet like everywhere else. The service was good, and the staff very friendly.

The food was good, the atmosphere was okay. The service would have deserved minus stars, absolutely terrible. Time is taken for guests you know. Our order was taken more in passing, the food came quickly, the cutlery later, no bread at all... It was also unpleasant that there were a lot of uncleared tables that the staff walked past with empty hands. Too bad

We were served shortly after choosing a table. Drinks came quickly, as did appetizers. However, the main course was a long time coming. Unfortunately the portions and the taste were not suitable for the price. Didn't convince us, too bad. Ambience is quite nice.

It was my first time in Firenze and it was a very mixed evening for me. Mixed because in over 3 hours I wasn't asked once by the service what I wanted to drink. You had to ask about it yourself if someone stopped by. We also had to wait over 2 hours for food. But this was delicious and it was also positive that a short-term request could be quickly realized. This could be because staff were short at short notice and something like that can upset any daily routine and can happen anywhere. There was a rumor going around the store. That's why I give it a medium rating and I would give the Firenze team a second chance. But then things should work better.

Hello friends of Italian cuisine and hospitality. If you love this and are looking forward to a nice evening, then look for another restaurant. Went there today with friends: For 45 minutes no one asked if we wanted something to drink. You can imagine when the drinks were on the table. Ok, somehow no one said... as usual, there aren't enough waiters... but it doesn't matter and we're still reasonably hopeful. Unfortunately our friends got their starter, ours was somehow forgotten. Then someone without a plan ran through the store and wanted to bring us the main course. That was enough for the Italian evening. Hunger was gone and pulse was 180. Just say no if you don't have the store under control and don't accept pre-orders. We left and won't be coming back .ciao

A constant for over 30 years. We have been there regularly since the early 90s and are always very well looked after. Friendly, nice atmosphere in the historic building and very good food. It's worth looking at the changing recommendation card.

On our first visit we waited 90 minutes for a pizza. I had to request the invoice 3 times. It wasn't full. Called in advance on the 2nd visit. It was said: you should just come over. Line in the door, no drink, no progress. Then we went somewhere else...

Food was okay. Pizza very thinly topped! Service okay! Bread as a greeting from the kitchen was already on another table!!

Nice restaurant, unfortunately bad service, the female waitress couldn't speak German at all, and when asked she reacted harshly, but what didn't work was that she was fiddling with her hair the whole time. So personally a no go. If the service wasn't so unfriendly you could come more often.

The Firenze is no longer what it used to be. The food is delicious, the service is nice, the ambience is getting old. You can eat here. And if I want to eat fresh pizza again we will still eat pizza there again.

The ambience is nice, The service, on the other hand, was very bad. If you're not part of the usual customer base, you'll be overlooked and not even given the bread that every other table got. We all have terrible stomach pains after eating for hours afterwards. Never again! After the food was cleared away, payment was quick😅 when he asked: is everything okay? One of us said no straight away. No one was interested or questioned👎🏻 Thank you very much for nothing.

Been a guest here for years and was satisfied. After a long break today again and unfortunately rarely have I had such a bad pizza. My partner's and mine were dripping with fat, which of course resulted in a completely soggy dough. Went back to unreasonable service. Not again

We went to Firenze for the first time yesterday and were thrilled by the lovely ambience, the friendly service and the excellent food.

Excellent food, very friendly service, a very nice atmosphere and, above all, very good value for money! You rarely find something like that these days. We will come back!

Ich bin schon als Kind oft bei Firenze gewesen. Es war jedesmal toll. Firenze hatte damals den Ruf, einer der besten Italiener des Landes zu sein. Das konnte ich damals 100%ig unterschreiben. Das Essen, die Stimmung, die Freude, es passte alles. Als ich noch vor 10 Jahren in der Wedemark wohnte, war ich oft dort, habe mir auch mittags oft etwas mitgenommen. Firenze war Bella Italia. Nun wohne ich schon lange weit weg und komme nur noch sporadisch nach Bissendorf. Es ist kein Vergleich zu früher. Was ist passiert? Ist das Gesicht nicht (mehr) als Stammgast bekannt, wird einem vom ersten Augenblick vermittelt, dass man stört. Nur schlechte Stimmung, lange Wartezeiten auf Kleinigkeiten. Traurig wie eine Ikone zerfällt. Dies ist keine Einzelbeobachtung, sondern die Summe der letzten Jahre. Ich bin trotz meiner schlechten Erfahrungen jedesmal als ich im Lande war hingefahren, um sicher zu gehen. Firenze ist nicht mehr das, was es einmal war. Das Essen ist weiterhin sehr gut, aber es ist keine Reise mehr wert.

The food at Firenze is really excellent. It is also very comfortable inside. Our waiter was very nice and we got our order quickly. We took our time to really enjoy everything down to the last bite. I would love to eat here again.

Monday 12:00 p.m. Order a lasagna with a hefeweizen. The beer comes immediately, the lasagne is a long time coming. When she finally comes, the bread is missing. If you ask, you promise to get it immediately. Then the waiter appears and announces that the bread is not ready yet! The lasagna has now cooled down significantly and I've finally had enough. Well, I didn't miss anything in the measly portion. However, without bread I would have starved. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Mostly good Italian cuisine... more relaxed than in Hanover.

Been back to Firenze for a long time. As a regular guest you will be treated well. Welcome hug, small talk. We weren't even looked at. They're not regular customers. Firenze is known for its two-class society, but we still wanted to eat there again. But it was a complete disappointment. The spaghetti carbonara portion was small, no adult would be full. My Parma pizza was sticky. Food not great, service more than bad. The older waiter preferred to defer to his regulars. Friendliness towards us is out of place. Luckily there are also Italians in Mellendorf who are happy about ALL their guests

Ate here after the registry office. Great service. Super tasty food. Great rooms.

The selection of the large appetizer plate was a bit sparse. There were plenty of delicious things at the buffet that would have fit well on the plate. But that's just my personal opinion.

It was unbearably loud, but there's no other way, if at all.

Ich bin früher immer sehr gerne dort gewesen. Aufgrund der Entfernung in den letzten Jahren nicht mehr. Zum Geburtstag meines Sohnes wollte ich ein besonderes Ambiente. Ich wurde sehr enttäuscht. Es dauerte lange bis wir überhaupt eine Karte bekamen. Der Kellner begrüßte uns kaum und wirkte sehr genervt. Die Beilagen wurden vergessen. Ich musste selber in der Küche nachfragen. Das Essen war gut, die Portionen etwas klein. Und ich bin bestimmt kein großer Esser mit meinen 55 kg. Beim Abrechnen wurde mehr Geld einbehalten, auch hier musste ich nachfassen. Kein freundliches Wort,... Am Abend sind wir dann noch einmal Essen gegangen, beim Griechen unseres Vertrauen. Keine Ahnung, ob wir einfach nur einen schlechten Tag dort erlebt haben. Wir alle hatten jedenfalls hiernach nicht das Bedürfnis diese Lokalität wieder zu besuchen.

It's a shame when you get very little attention as a guest. The food, ok, as we all know, is a feast for the eyes, didn't look like much. There was nothing earth-shattering about the taste. I don't want to write much about the service that the older gentleman gave us except that it wasn't worth much. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant.

The food was good, but not outstanding. The service was a disgrace. Absolutely arrogant and rude. And as I learned from my friends, this has been known for years. The smoking corner and the bar tables for smokers are located right next to the playground and the tables where we sat to eat.

I've been here several times, but it wasn't as pleasant as the last few times. The service wasn't good and we left without ordering any more drinks! There would definitely have been two more rounds left… Thank God there are enough alternatives in town! Food was little but good, prices are high but okay!

Unfortunately, the “Firenze” of today can no longer be compared to the Firenze of some time ago. Taste may be subjective, but if a larger group agrees on it, then this assessment is somewhat objective. When we were there the restaurant was very busy. We waited over an hour for our order. Personally, I only drank one drink because no waiter asked in between if we wanted something more to drink.... The pizza tasted average and would have been worth three stars, my wife's pasta was on par with Mama miracoli. I would like to describe the portion size as a disgrace! Even a woman who is very concerned about her figure won't get anything close to full here. I think if things aren't improved here, then in the future a good name won't be enough to bring the restaurant lots of guests.

This restaurant is as friendly, informal and unpretentious as Italy itself. Seating indoors and out is pleasant. Service is excellent. Our waiter was properly knowledgeable about the menu and made perfect recommendations for us. He was able to advise us in English, and had the perfect balance of courtesy and professionalism. The food was delicious -perfectly cooked with delicious flavours and lovely presentation. And although we never order tiramisu anywhere any more, after too many disappointments, we risked it here and it was perfect! Thank you!

Das Firenze war immer unser "Wohnzimmer"., jetzt ist es unerträglich, die Bedienungen gut wie früher, aber 1 1/2 auf Spaghetti warten weil die Geschäftsführung und die Abstimmung mit Küche nicht funktioniert ist unerträglich. Das Essen gut, aber man isst ja auswärts wegen der Atmosphäre...Wenn die Schreiereinen zwischen Bedienungen und Küche sogar in den Garten dringen, dann ist das auch nicht gut für das Wohlbefinden

Absolut unterirdisch und das definitiv letzte mal als Stammgast seit über 30 Jahren. Genug ist genug!! Über 1 Stunde auf Getränke gewartet - auf 3-fache Nachfrage. Diese dann zum größten Teil auch noch falsch an den Tisch gebracht. Das Essen hat ab Bestellung ca 2 Stunden gebraucht. Aus Prinzip werde ich diesen Laden ab sofort meiden!

We waited an incredibly long time for the menu (approx. 30 minutes), and we weren't even asked in advance whether we wanted a drink (approx. 40 minutes, with the food order). We were also no longer asked if we wanted another drink. The food wasn't convincing either, we've eaten better.

I had a dish from the daily menu (veal liver), which was sufficient and very good. Service very friendly and quick...

Grilled fish was great, as was Grappa d'oro. Gladly again!

Ambience and food good, but also has its price. As many have already written here, the service is subpar for this price level. Although we didn't take much time for each guest, there are long waiting times. You have to actively draw attention to yourself for inquiries/reorders and even then the boss doesn't come to you directly and also seems very annoyed. Even the gentleman with the pigtail couldn't help but smile; at least he was very quick to take the order, even if the process didn't seem really personal or appreciative. The only friendly waiter was the slightly smaller, well-tanned one with black hair! Unfortunately no recommendation.

We are very satisfied and would love to come back. The beer garden in particular is very nice 👍 👍 👍

I've loved going to Firenze since I was a child. The interior is a bit narrower and louder but still within limits. The food has never disappointed me and the price/performance ratio is good.

Very cozy Italian restaurant with a very good price/performance ratio in a village atmosphere. Pleasant crowd, nice opportunities to sit outside under old trees. The sound of splashing water from a fountain and beautiful sunshine at midday round off a successful meal even in the early afternoon. It's worth taking a nice convertible tour here from Hanover. My first attempt here: Ravioli Duetto. Very tasty and recommended! 😋👍🏼

Ate the most delicious pasta with scampi ever today!! Great service, quick and an incredibly great and warm conversation with the owner afterwards! Nowadays everything is not so easy and it is difficult to get good, reliable staff who will work faithfully together as a tram for years. Some people should think about that before giving any reviews 🙄

The food has gotten worse and when I asked the waiter if they had a different chef he confirmed it. When I asked why, I replied that the food had gotten worse and they just smiled. Note pride comes before a fall.

Was there around 3:00 p.m. and got a table. After about 15 minutes we waited in vain for a card. When I went out the lady said I just wanted to go see you. Conclusion: 15 minutes of waiting without having any contact with the staff unfortunately cannot provide any experience of what the food is like there.

Ate at Firenze as a family meal with 10 people. The food was okay, but nothing special. The service really wasn't good, so given the price I expected more than a rushed "plate taxi" that was neither friendly nor able to carry out the orders properly. One family member was simply completely forgotten - he got his food when the others had already finished...even though we went to the front and reported the mishap. Why it wasn't a priority and we still had to wait 25 minutes is incomprehensible! No apology, no small salad in advance or anything like that to tide you over... you can already see the level. Overall, the waiter didn't seem like he enjoyed his job. He seemed stressed and didn't come to the table for any further requests. Sunday lunchtime with manageable capacity. From our point of view, Firenze is no longer what it used to be. Once again we have not had good experiences, not even with friends. Hear similar stories from friends... so unfortunately not again.

Wir waren gestern im Firenze und waren sehr enttäuscht. Nach dem wir gefragt wurden was wir Trinken und Essen wollen dauerte es exakt 14 Minuten bis das Mineralwasser auf dem Tisch stand. Der Nachbartisch wurde zügiger bedient, kein Wunder waren es auch Italiener. Als das Essen kam hatten wir eigentlich keinen Hunger mehr. Die Pizza war nur salzig und trocken und die Spaghetti Bolognese war nur noch trocken. Die Bedienung müsste zweimal aufgefordert werden uns die Rechnung zu bringen. Fazit, Essen schlecht und Bedienung unfreundlich. Wie können unser Geld auch wo anders lassen

Half an hour passed before our drinks were served. This was disappointing, especially as we were looking forward to a refreshing start to the evening. Unfortunately, when the food finally arrived, it was at the same time as the drinks, which spoiled the possibility of a pleasant dinner. The quality of the food also left a lot to be desired, with the pizza in particular only achieving a rating of 2 on a scale of 1-5. Despite the appealing ambience, the Firenze restaurant remains a disappointment due to the long waiting times, the uncoordinated service experience and the disappointing quality of the service Food falls short of expectations.

I rarely write a review, but I'll make an exception for Firenze. Rarely experienced such poor and inattentive service. I can only strongly recommend that all guests bring their own drinks, otherwise it will be a very dry evening. Food is good quality, but also nothing. The ambience is ok... we were able to enjoy it thoroughly during the long waiting times.

This was our first time in Firenze. The tomato soup was lukewarm and unfortunately not beautifully prepared. The ravioli with sage tasted great. My friend still looked surprised. There were 6 pieces on the plate. One would have thought that it was an appetizer.

It was my first time eating at Restaurant Firenze and I have to say that I expected more. Unfortunately it was very busy that day, so we had to wait a long time for our order. There were simply far too few waiters on duty and they were easily overwhelmed. We all know about the current staff shortage, which makes communication all the more important. Unfortunately that wasn't enough. The ambience is nice and inviting. There are lots of little niches where you can be by yourself. The food was solid, but the portions were too small for my taste. The price-performance ratio wasn't right here. It's a shame because I've only heard good things before.

The food was absolutely delicious, but the staff is not good at all. Listless and unfriendly. Apparently only regular guests receive friendly and quick service. It's a real shame, but I haven't experienced anything like that in a long time.

Das „Firenze“ ist seit seiner Eröffnung unser örtlicher Lieblingsitaliener, und das aus vielerlei Gründen. Die große Zahl an Stammgästen zeigt die kontinuierliche Beliebtheit des Restaurants zu allen Jahreszeiten. und zu verschiedenen Anlässen. Wir freuen uns auf die nächsten Besuche!

The food is good, although not outstanding. The staff could be friendlier and more attentive, it seemed as if everyone was "working" and not necessarily having fun doing it, we felt a bit handled. Price/performance is still quite ok and we will probably come back again, but there is still room for improvement here, especially in terms of service and the ambience.

The food is generally pretty good for Germany and a village. The restaurant is also run by Italians. But it's a bit too snobbish for Bissendorf. Today I had to experience how you are treated like transparent glass when your clothes for Friday evening don't fit. However, I just wanted to order pizza to go or at least ask if that would be possible because it was busy in there. After 4 people walked past me without saying hello or anything, I left the restaurant and will never come back because it was the second unpleasant event of its kind. Orientaler next to it, doesn't have authentic pizza and everything as you know it but greets politely and offers chai while you wait. I would simply like to remind the Italian owners that they are not in Rome or Venice but in a German village and that neurosurgeons sometimes order pizza to take away without wearing white collars and jackets.

We spontaneously ate there and got a table for two without any problems. The order was taken quickly and some bread was served straight away 🥖. The food is super great! I had beef fillet and my friend had cannelloni, we both found the food very tasty and would love to come back😊

Bedauerlicherweise mussten wir sehr lange auf die Getränke warten. Gäste die nach uns kamen und direkt hinter uns sassen, wurden vor uns bedient. Die Pizza war gut, liess sich nur leider schlecht schneiden, da das Messer stumpf war.

Leider mal wieder enttäuscht, seid langer Zeit mal wieder dort gewesen und es hat sich nichts verändert!Servicepersonal sehr unfreundlich und Unaufmerksam!Der Salat war überhaupt nicht frisch und sah nicht gerade appetitlich aus.

Der beste Italiener überhaupt. Ich verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen nicht. Das Personal ist total freundlich und das Essen ist IMMER 1A mit einem super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren bisher immer zufrieden und gehen schon seit Jahren dorthin !

Wir sind recht regelmäßig zum Essen im Firenze, manchmal zu zweit und manchmal als 7/8-köpfige Familie. Firenze bietet ein spitzenmäßiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Leckerer Geschmack, hervorragende Qualität - gepaart mit einem hervorragenden, sehr freundlichen Service !!!

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 18, Guter freundlicher Service. Ich hatte Pizza Lachs und einen tollen Nero d‘Avola. Pizza reichlich mit frischem Lachs! belegt- dadurch zwar nicht richtig kross, aber das nehme ich gern in Kauf- ist ja kein Billig Räucherlachs gewesen. Und wenn es lecker schmeckt dann schreibe ich es mit 2G, Legger Preis/Leistung passt, komme gern wieder

Auf der Durchreise haben wir ein geöffnetes Restaurant gesucht. Nachmittags um 15h nicht ganz einfach. Sind dann über die Google Suche auf diese Pizzeria gestoßen. Der Kellner sehr freundlich. Kann die anderen Kommentare nicht nachvollziehen. Mein Mann bestellte Lasagne, ich die Tortellini und jeweils einen Salat. Das Essen kam in einer angemessenen Zeit. Das Baguette und der Salat frisch! Öl und Balsamico gab es dazu. Ebenso Parmesan. Meine Tortellini waren sehr lecker und eine gute Portion. Mein Mann hatte etwas Pech. Die Lasagne war augenscheinlich vegetarisch. Mit Auberginen. Er hatte dann aber keine Lust dies zu reklamieren, hat die Soße mit Baguette gegessen 😅(selber Schuld) und die war sehr lecker. Beim Bezahlen hat er dann aber doch reklamiert. Der Kellner stutzte kurz und musste dann doch lachen. Er sagte "kein Problem. Essen wird nicht berechnet" Es gäbe zwei neue Köche und die haben wohl was falsch verstanden. . Trotz allem sehr sympathisch. Alles gut. Kann alles passieren. 🤷‍♀️ Trotzdem: Geschmack, Service und Ambiente 👍

Im Fachwerkambiente wieder prima gegessen (u. a. Bandnudeln mit Pfifferlingen). Gerne wieder.

Das Essen war ok. Leider wirklich nicht schön angerichtet. Der Service war unfreundlich und unaufmerksam. Die Pizza war für ein italienisches Restaurant leider auch nicht besonders. Man kann hier sicher mittags gut satt werden wenn man das möchte, aber wir werden nicht nochmal kommen.

Das Essen kam viel zu spät. Das Personal versteht fast kein Wort deutsch. Oder gar kein Deutsch. Die Leute rauchen drinne im Restaurant Es gibt keine Wickelmöglichkeiten.

Great place to go in the summer because of the outdoor garden. The salmon pizza went from extraordinary to plain to great in the last 2 years, so I am happy I gave it another try. When I go to Italian, I go for pizza 🍕 and it was really good. Service was also good. Thanks

Leider muss ich meine letzte Bewertung deutlich nach unten korrigieren. Unser letzter Besuch im Firenze war eine ziemliche Katastrophe. Der Service war unterirdisch schlecht. Wir saßen auf der Terrasse offensichtlich an einem Tisch, der im Niemandsland im Grenzgebiet zweier Kellner lag. Während wir noch nicht einmal eine Karte bekommen hatten, wurden anderen Gästen, die deutlich nach uns kamen, bereits die Getränke serviert. Nachdem wir dann freundlicherweise auch unsere Speisekarten bekamen, dauerte es wieder sehr lange, bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Zu unserer Verwunderung wurde an allen anderen Tischen Brot mit Balsamico gereicht. Bei uns leider nicht. Das Essen kam dann nach ca. einer Stunde und war passabel, mehr aber auch nicht. Als wir dann fertig waren, wollten wir zahlen, doch leider ließ sich entweder keine Servicekraft blicken oder wir wurden durch Nichtbeachtung gestraft. Nach geschlagenen 20 Minuten habe ich dann im Haus bezahlt. Nicht ohne noch einen pampigen Kommentar wegen der Kartenzahlung zu bekommen. Leider sind solche Erfahrungen im Firenze an der Tagesordnung. Wer nicht zur Bissendorfer Bussi-Gesellschaft gehört, der kann sich freuen, wenn er überhaupt bedient wird...
