Ristorante DaGigi in Freilassing

Ordered takeaway pizza there twice in quick succession. The first time, Pizza Diavolo was tasty and ok, but unfortunately the ham was cut too thick in my opinion and the quality wasn't convincing for me. The second time I ordered pepperoni pizza, but unfortunately only received the salami pizza, which was actually cheaper, instead of the pepperoni sausage pizza I ordered. They probably thought in the restaurant that I wouldn't notice. I specifically asked if it was the pepperoni pizza. Since the Diavolo pizza also had pepperoni sausage, I of course noticed the difference... It's a shame, because the restaurant is actually quite nice and the pizzas generally taste good. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars with potential for improvement.

We can't recommend it, "restaurant" is more or less a poorly heated winter garden, waiting time for 4 pizzas is over an hour, delivery service outside the home was in our opinion. The orders of the restaurant visitors were processed with priority and in terms of taste the pizzas were also on the lower level...

The best Italian food in town! Freshly made pasta and very tasty pizza. Also the best gnocchi I've ever eaten in my life. Pretty nice ambient and very friendly staff.

When passing through Freilassing, you can't avoid dining at DaGigi, the only restaurant in Bayer where you get special attention from the staff, excellent food, if you visit Salzburg, don't hesitate to visit this restaurant. ATTENTION!!! They have the best Pizza!!!

July 3rd lunch, we ordered a portion of calamari friti, unfortunately we didn't get calamari, but a kind of squid, the same one that you can buy at Aldi, on the same day the price at Aldi was 2.99 for a package, at DaGigi,17.50,!Unfortunately it has nothing to do with an Italian restaurant! pure rip off!!!

The food tastes very good, especially the pasta dishes. The filled pizza bread is also very tasty, but unfortunately a bit oily, but the taste is very good. The staff is very friendly, attentive.

We came here on the way from Munich, and we were very pleasantly surprised! The price of seafood pasta is similar to that in Munich, but the pasta is handmade in the restaurant, with just the right softness and toughness and the unique toughness of fresh pasta! There is a lot of seafood and it tastes very fresh, and the presentation is quite exquisite. Friends who are transferring from Munich to Königssee, if your DB is also delayed, you must try it 👍 In addition, the restaurant is only a five-minute walk from platform eight to Königssee.

The DaGigi restaurant in Freilassing is my favorite place for good food. I eat here 2-3 times a week and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is quick and friendly, and the place is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a pleasant environment.

Pizzas are extremely expensive. Vegetables (verdure) were partly still half raw and therefore difficult to digest. Here, for reasons of time, frying or steaming was not done beforehand. A pity!

The pizzas have tasted much better in the past. The staff doesn't even speak German properly. (Staff changes took place). All the smoke from the kitchen spreads throughout the restaurant and you smell like you've come out of a Pimmes stand. The ventilation system should be replaced or expanded here because something like that is unbearable.

Delivery service is really very good. Deliver very quickly, take extras into account and so far everything has always worked as ordered.

Our absolute favorite Italian restaurant for many years. The food is always absolutely great. Unfortunately, the service staff has changed recently and is no longer really friendly. There's no more schnapps on the house either. Everything used to be just right, but now unfortunately only the excellent food is left.

Very good pizzas, service gives lots of tips and suggestions when ordering (almost too intrusive for me personally because I know what I want and what I don't). Everything was quick, from ordering to checkout, we'll definitely be back.

Had a pizza buffala and rigatoni arrabiata. The portions were reasonable and it tasted delicious. The noodles were very spicy, even though the menu said they were only slightly spicy. The service was poor; Unfortunately, after our plates were cleared, we had to wait 40 minutes until someone came and collected the money.

Simply burnt, ordered beforehand, waited an hour until it was delivered, really rude, you can't even eat it, really bad, wouldn't recommend it

Leckeres Essen und sehr schneller Lieferservice. Die Pizzen sind mit sehr viel Käse belegt, was geschmacklich mal ein bisschen Abwechselung zu den anderen Italienern bringt. Auch die Nudelgerichte sind sehr Lecker und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Für die absolute Extase kann ich das gefüllte Pizzabrot mit Knoblauch empfehlen, wer gerne viel Knoblauch isst wird es lieben.

Leckere Pizzen zum Abholen bestellt. Pünktlich fertig und super lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen. 👌👌☝️👍

Die selbstgemachten Tortellini muss man mal probiert haben. Die Preise sind zwar nicht günstig, aber der Qualität des Essens definitiv angemessen.

Schönes Ambiente, sehr gutes Essen, große Auswahl.

Ich war vor ca.1 Woche im Da Gigi essen....das 1ste und das letzte Mal. Mit 2 Freundinnen. Ich habe einen Meeresfrüchtesalat und dazu ein Pizzabrot gegessen. Der Salat war leicht matschig und geschmacklos (Tiefkühlware) musste Zitrone nachbestellen und ordentlich pfeffern. Pizzabrot war ok. Weiter wurden Gnoccis mit Shrimps gegessen. Diese waren viel zu weich auch matschig und geschmacklos. Dann hatten wir Rigatoni al arrabiata....es waren nicht mal ital. Rigatoni sondern so kleine, wie Makkaroni (ca.1cm) lang, mit einer komischen Tomatensauce die an Ketchup erinnerte. Die Schärfe war ok. Parmesan musste man extra bestellen. Das einzige was gut war, war der Wein. Hat für mich nichts mit Italiener zu tun und dafür auch zu teuer.

Einfach klasse in jeder Hinsicht

Wir sind durch einen Tipp auf das DaGigi gestoßen. Zuerst skeptisch aufgrund so mancher Online-Bewertung haben wir der persönlichen Empfehlung mehr vertraut und wurden nicht enttäuscht... ganz im Gegenteil. Super nettes Personal und weit mehr Servicekräfte als man nach Corona gewöhnt ist. Zuvorkommender schneller Service, Sonderwünsche kein Problem. Wir waren zu fünft dort mit unseren Kindern/Hunden. Alle wurden wir nett begrüßt und bewirtet. Die Wartezeit war für frisches Essen angemessen obwohl das Lokal fast bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt war... und das an einem Mittwoch! Die Nudeln, das Steak, die Beilagen, der Salat... alles auf den Punkt, ein Gedicht! Und der Preis? Vor Corona hätte ich gesagt "angemessen", nun unter dem Eindruck der allseits steigenden Preise muss ich "preiswert" schreiben und bin ehrlich positiv überrascht. Daher - und weil ich so manche Rezensionen zum Da Gigi nun noch weniger nachvollziehen kann als vorher, musste ich diese Bewertung verfassen. Wir wünschen allen Besuchern "Guten Appetit" und werden selbst sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant zum drinnen oder draußen Sitzen, schnelle Bedienung und super freundlich, Essen einfach klasse. Es war eine Empfehlung und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Bereits zum 5. Mal waren wir nun schon hier und kommen immer gern wieder her.

Gutes Essen, italienischer Flair alles frisch gemacht von Nudeln bis Pizza. Getränke wurden regelmäßig nachgefüllt und darauf geachtet obwohl volles Haus war.

Wir haben am Sonntagabend Pizza und Nudeln für 3 Personen bestellt, Essen kam sehr schnell an (ca 30 min) und war noch sehr warm. Pizza, sowie Salat und Bruschetta waren sehr gut, Nudeln mit Lachs-Sahne-Sauce ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Da Livio heißt seit längerem Da Gigi. Der Besitzer ist aber geblieben.. Das Essen ist weiterhin sehr gut. Pasta wird selbst gemacht. Pizza vom Steinofen. Gut, freundlich , engagiert. Preise angemessen.. Immer wieder gerne!

Ich bin immernoch maßlos begeistert von euch!!!! Sehr sehr leckeres und wirklich qualitativ hochwertiges Essen. Ich komme mindestens aller 2 Monate vorbei und auch immer mit anderen Freunden oder Familie. Wer einmal da war, möchte immer wieder hin. Freundliches Personal und immer viel los...spricht wohl für sich. Macht weiter so.

alle bediensteten waren sehr sehr freundlich und unsere bestellung wurde jedesmal von einem sympathischen, netten kellner aufgenommen. die speisen waren sogar ausgezeichnet und z.t. auch aussergewöhnlich. die geschichten mit trüffel unbedingt probieren.... das ambiente gefällt uns auch sehr gut. die plätze im wintergarten sind wirklich angenehm. uns ist aufgefallen, wenn es vielen zu warm war und daraufhin die schiebetüren leicht geöffnet wurden, hat das unbehagen bei anderen gästen eingesetzt...naja, allen kann man es nicht recht machen ;o) also von mir volle punktzahl!

Ganz klar keine Empfehlung…wir waren mit unserem Sohn (1 Jahr) dort und vor allem der Umgang mit ihm war enorm schlecht. Der Kellner war genervt und absolut kinderfeindlich. Das Essen war zwar ok, aber nichts Besonderes und der Service war unter aller Sau. Vor allem dafür, dass eh fast keine Kunden da waren (was ich inzwischen verstehen kann), kam der Kellner immer genervt herüber und antwortete auf unsere Fragen eher unhöflich. Naja, uns seht ihr kein zweites Mal…echt traurig, wie man so einen schlechten Service haben kann…

Qualität hat gegenüber Da Livio nicht gewonnen Preise passen, Bedienung meistens flott. Angenehm der Aufenthalt im Freien unter ausreichender Beschirmung, Reservierung empfehlenswert.
