Fantastic Service. Better then recommanded

Wir waren mit 5 Personen dort – und für uns war es definitiv das erste und gleichzeitig das letzte Mal. Wir hatten verschiedene Nudelgerichte bestellt. Leider waren 3 von 5 Personen mit ihrem Essen sehr unzufrieden. Die Käsesahnesoße sowie die Gorgonzolasoße waren geschmacklos und viel zu wässrig. Bei der Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten waren die Meeresfrüchte zäh, gummiartig und teilweise noch hart. Auch der Service ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Bedienung war unfreundlich und auf unsere Kritik wurde überhaupt nicht professionell reagiert. Statt Verständnis zu zeigen, wirkte das Personal nicht kritikfähig. Insgesamt war der Besuch für uns eine große Enttäuschung. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht noch einmal besuchen und können es leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Lage der Gastro und das Essen sind echt richtig top. Aber wir hatten an unserem Tisch ausnahmslos abgenutzte, beschädigte Stühle. Das Geschirr wurde einem sofort nach dem letzten Bissen weggenommen obwohl am Tisch noch einige mitten beim Essen waren. Am ärgerlichsten war aber das unfreundliche Personal, kein Bitte und kein Danke. Einfach nur ein bisschen ehrliche Freundlichkeit hätte gereicht und der Aufenthalt wäre schön gewesen. So aber nichtmehr, da gehen wir lieber wieder ein paar Häuser weiter.

Der Service ist unfreundlich, arrogant, kein Hallo, kein Danke. Die Flasche Wasser, die wir bestellt hatten, war mit Tomatensoße beschmiert (ich frage mich, wo die aufbewahrt wurde). Der Cappuccino meines Freundes war übergelaufen, die Tasse musste er erst mal abputzen, damit er sie überhaupt in die Hand nehmen konnte. Also, warum bringt man so etwas zu Kunden raus?

Tolles Restaurant. Super freundliches Personal.

Top, machten dort zum 2. Mal ein Jahrestreffen, wird wohl auch im kommenden Jahr dort sein. Essen lecker, Bedienung top - paßt einfach alles, so muß das sein.

Wir sind zufällig auf unserer mehrtägigen Radtour von Stuttgart nach Linz vorbeigekommen. Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut. Unser Kellner Kaly war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich 😃 Sehr zu empfehlen um gut zu speisen und die Atmosphäre im Gastgarten zu genießen.

Das Raffaello kann ich nur empfehlen, Chef super freundlich, immer ein Plätzchen frei, schön wenn man am Telefon schon erkannt wird. Leckeres Essen, man wird herzlich empfangen. Alles tip top Viele Grüße an das ganze Team von Familie Rabini

Schönes Restaurant in guter Lage. Das Essen ist gut und die Portionen sind ebenfalls gut.

Das Essen war super super lecker. Alles traditionell italienisch gekocht. Das Ambiente war super, man hat einen super Blick auf die Stadt und das Rieder Tor. Das Personal hätte etwas freundlicher seien können, aber sie haben ihren Job eigentlich gut erledigt. Wenn man in Donauwörth ist, ist dieses Restaurant definitiv ein must-try, auch wenn ich dem Rafaello jetzt nur 4 Sterne gebe.

Ein sehr komischer Laden. Da weiß man nicht ob man nach dem Essen angegriffen wird oder Ermordet auf dem Heimweg. Nach dem Vorfall vor ein paar Tagen, in einer spielo.

Essen war super lecker, Bedienung super freundlich. Bin hier öfter zum Essen oder einfach zum gemütlichen Beisammensein um was zu trinken. Leider sitzt man oft vor dem leeren Glas und man muss selbst sagen das man noch was möchte, obwohl die Bedienung ständig an einem vorbei läuft. Preise vollkommen okay 👍

Ein Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen, aber leider sehr schlechtem Service. Mein Bruder und ich haben uns an einem Tisch, an dem die Sonne prall vom Himmel brannte, einen ordentlichen Sonnenbrand geholt. Außerdem hat der Kellner, ohne uns zu fragen, ob wir gehen wollen, sofort neue Gäste an unseren Tisch geleitet, sobald er sah, dass wir fertig gegessen hatten – obwohl wir uns für das Essen bedanken.

Ich wurde von einem sehr netten Kellner mit Namen Napoleon bedient. Zur Insalata Caprese hatte ich noch einen gegrillten Lachsfilet mit Gemüse gegessen. Eine Reservierung würde ich empfehlen, weil es am Abend sehr voll war. Mit 1-2 Personen ist es sicherlich auch ohne Reservierung möglich. Immer wieder gern.

Immer wieder lecker. Sowohl heiß als auch kalt hier sehr zu empfehlen! Die Pizzen sind groß (also wirklich sehr groß) und sehr lecker. Wir haben die Eissaison für uns an Ostern eröffnet. Wo? Natürlich hier im Raffaello :) Wir kommen gerne hierher, denn das Angebot ist sehr groß, hier findet garantiert jeder etwas, was sein Eis- oder italienisches Herz begehrt.

Leider extrem schlechter und unfreundlicher Service. Es dauerte ewig, bis uns endlich mal ein sehr unfreundlicher Kellner die Karten brachte. Zum bestellen des Essens sind wir gar nicht mehr gekommen, weil wir nach ca einer halben Stunde die Getränke bezahlt haben und aufgestanden und gegangen sind!!! Schade, wenn es wahrscheinlich nur an einzelnen Personen liegt, die ein Restaurant dann so runter ziehen!!!

Wir haben haben heute das Restaurant Raffaello besucht und sind leider äußerst enttäuscht von dem Service. Bereits beim Empfang wurden wir von einem älteren Kellner sehr unfreundlich begrüßt, was keinen guten ersten Eindruck hinterließ. Nachdem wir Platz genommen hatten, mussten wir ungewöhnlich lange warten, bis uns überhaupt Menükarten gebracht wurden – obwohl der Kellner mehrfach an unserem Tisch vorbeiging. Die Aufnahme der Getränkebestellung erfolgte schließlich lustlos und wenig aufmerksam. Noch problematischer war jedoch, dass danach über einen längeren Zeitraum hinweg keinerlei Service mehr stattfand. Der betreffende Kellner ignorierte unseren Tisch offensichtlich, obwohl er wiederholt im Gastraum tätig war und andere Gäste bediente. Nachdem wir bereits längere Zeit vergeblich gewartet hatten, baten wir einen anderen Mitarbeiter darum, unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen. Uns wurde zugesichert, dass sich der zuständige Kellner gleich kümmern würde – was jedoch nicht geschah. Auch nach weiteren 20 Minuten war niemand erschienen. Da wir zeitlich gebunden waren, sahen wir uns schließlich gezwungen, das Restaurant ohne Essen wieder zu verlassen. Selbst beim Bezahlen zeigte sich ein ähnliches Bild: Zunächst wurde erneut auf den gleichen Kellner verwiesen. Erst als wir deutlich machten, dass wir nicht länger warten können, wurde die Rechnung plötzlich zügig abgewickelt. Eine Entschuldigung für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten blieb vollständig aus. Besonders bedauerlich ist, dass wir uns im Vorfeld auf das Angebot an glutenfreien Speisen gefreut hatten. Aufgrund dieses durchweg enttäuschenden Serviceerlebnisses werden wir jedoch weder wiederkommen noch das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Extrem unhöflicher und übergriffiger Service. Ihr solltet euer Personal dringend schulen.

Die Lage ist traumhaft! Man kann hier köstlich essen. Ich selbst habe einen leckeren Cappuccino mit Gebäck genossen! Freundlicher Service!

Schöne Location in Donauwört, aufmerksamer Service, tolle Atmosphäre und leckere Tortelini mit Spinat. Sehr große Portionen.

Ich bin mit diesem Restaurant rundum zufrieden. Es liegt in einer sehr ruhigen und wunderschönen Lage, direkt in der Nähe eines kleinen Gewässers, was eine besondere und entspannte Atmosphäre schafft. Es gibt hier keinen störenden Verkehr, sodass man die Zeit wirklich genießen kann. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und hat meine Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch das Personal – sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Eine kleine, aber sehr positive Erfahrung war für mich auch, dass ich Trinkgeld geben wollte, es aber freundlich abgelehnt wurde mit der Bemerkung, dass alles schon in Ordnung sei. Das zeigt für mich eine sehr angenehme und entspannte Einstellung gegenüber den Gästen. Insgesamt war alles einfach perfekt. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt und komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Hervorragende Pizza, Espresso und Bruschetta. Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen. Ich komme gerne wieder, um beim nächsten Mal noch Pasta zu probieren. Auch das Chili- und Knoblauchöl ist sehr gut!

Sehr gute Service, leckeres Essen besonders der Steak mit Steinpilze. Der beste den ich jemals gegessen habe. Würde ich gerne weiter empfehlen☺️

Essen 5 Sterne Service 5 Sterne Ambiente 4.9 Sterne Wirklich das einzige was eventuell gestört hat war ein zwar leises, leider bemerkbares piepsen aus ich schätze mal den Lautsprechern . Also eine klare Empfehlung meinerseits👌

Two months ago we reserved a table and requested to sit upstairs. However, a very unfriendly and arrogant waiter relegated us to the corner by the bar downstairs. It was so cold there that after we finished eating, we fled the restaurant with freezing feet. Since this same employee has been unfriendly to us in the past, we will be choosing a different location for our annual Raffaello reunion after 25 years.

We recently had the opportunity to enjoy some truly delicious food here. The service was very friendly, highly professional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Absolutely recommended!

I was here today, unfortunately for my train, which wasn't for another 1.5 hours. So I wanted to grab something quickly. Sounds simple, but with celiac disease (gluten-free), it's sometimes a game of musical chairs. But back to the pizzeria. Fast, reliable, and tasty. Nice location, clean, tidy. True Italians who know how to make pasta and pizza. The Gnocci Rafaelo paired beautifully with the lambrusco. It made you feel like you're in Italy. The waiter was very accommodating and understood that I wanted to share the salad with my wife. He then pulled a face when my wife ordered Hawaiian pizza.

Probably the rudest waiters in Germany, if I have great service I leave a great tip, being told the amount I should tip leads me to leaving an insignificant amount, and then the waiter tries to embarrass you into to upping your tip…lol, and apparently your bill will be much higher if you want to pay by card. The staff look like Goodfellas extras and attempt to live up to their intimidating standards, sadly like their service they fail on all counts.

A Keller greeted us with a snarl, so we got up and left.

We were here for lunch yesterday. The food was quite good so far. However, we found the disrespectful attitude of one of the waiters towards women completely unacceptable. We won't be coming back. Moreover, we ordered two dishes in "small," which was supposedly possible. They came in "large" and were charged accordingly.

The ice cream may be okay, but the staff completely ruined my visit. Friendliness seems to be a foreign concept here, unfortunately. Instead of smiles, there were annoyed looks and short, rude replies. You felt like you were more of an inconvenience than welcome. It's a shame – a nice atmosphere is of no use if you, as a guest, feel so uncomfortable.

Never in my life have I seen anything as unpleasant and unfriendly as here. I have no idea what the man's name is; if I did, I would mention him by name, but you feel like you're getting your food or ice cream for free and have to endure the unpleasant attitude. What a shame about the beautiful location... I'd really be concerned if I were the owner.

Prices are based on whatever the waiter decides and doubles to pay for card. 2 beers were extorted for €20 if we paid card, but for 10€ if paying cash. Well above local market rate 0/10 recommend.

TOURIST TRAP SCAMMING CASH ONLY SALE. Came in and ordered 2 beers, when we went to pay our tab we were told cash only or if we wanted to pay card it would be €20. To pay cash it was €10, despite an unadvertised price and no menu available. Do not go.

I had to pay an extra two euros for hot sauce, and another two euros for garlic sauce on pizza. That was stated on the bill. It was a disgrace. There are hidden costs, so be careful.

The food is top, service is top and chef is top

Whether you're picking up or eating in, it's always delicious. I also find the ambiance incredibly beautiful, especially in the summer when you can sit by the water. They have everything your heart desires, from cocktails to fresh lobster.

Very good quality for a low price

Ordered an ice cream sundae, but it took a long time. When I asked for a walnut sundae, I was told they could do it, but the existing sundaes should be sufficient. That's just not possible. This felt like the first ice cream parlor without walnut sundaes...

Very tasty food. I drive there every now and then from Augsburg. When the weather's nice, the outdoor seating is very comfortable.

Very nice people. Large selection of food. We didn't have to wait long for the food. Everything was very good and the portions were large. Good value for money. Nice to sit there by the stream in front of the gate.

The ambiance is very nice, right on the water, but the waiters are constantly feeding ducks, which is a bit unpleasant because the ducks quack incessantly. The menu is, in my opinion, far too long/far too extensive. I ordered orecchiette (under the "pasta" menu) with truffle. The waiter brought them and said, "Your gnocci!" (The owners and the waiters seem to be Italian?) Unfortunately, the orecchiette were very oily, so I ended up with a veritable lake of oil on my plate. We also ordered pizza, which was rather bland (lacking seasoning) and greasy. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes, shortly after we'd finished our drinks. I wonder if the food is freshly prepared?!

Great terrace, bicycles within sight, delicious steak, potatoes and caprese salad but a shame about those noisy neighbours, a lot of screaming, children are reprimanded with shouts and cutlery falls on the floor, which makes everything taste a lot less tasty.

If you like to pay 10 euros for a watered down tonic and an espresso, this is the place to be. In fairness the espresso tasted good. But the prices are ridiculous.

After years, we visited the restaurant again and were looking forward to the Sorento salad. Unfortunately, I had to take a closer look halfway through and realized there were maggots in the salad! The only small apology came from the waiter when we pointed it out, and that was it! This shouldn't happen. The only thing I got was a €10 discount. That restaurant won't see me (us) again.

Cadre superbe au pied d’un monument historique, au cœur de la vile historique et terrasse immense. Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Les pâtes sont servies avec générosité. Et très très bien cuisinées. Bolognaises ou palourdes, j’ai retrouvé la qualité que je cherche dans un restaurant italien. Parmesan en quantité. Chose rare. Je recommande fortement

I ordered a vegetarian pizza, which the accompanying picture showed was attractively topped with eggplant and zucchini. The pizza I received bore no resemblance to the picture and consisted mainly of pepperoni and four small slices of zucchini. Upon request, they placed chopped fried eggplant pieces on top of the same pizza and served it very rudely. The pizza was no longer lukewarm and tasted accordingly bad. The service was definitely different, and unfortunately, no apology... Caution

Had a nice meal here after a long day.

We ordered two pizzas to go on Whit Monday, June 9, 2025 (online price: €10 each). When we picked up the pizzas, they charged €12.50 each. That alone is brazen and outrageous, and the conditions were also condescending, arrogant, and unfriendly. When we opened the package at home, we were literally starving. We had never seen a pizza covered in such a spartan and careless way as this one. If we had seen it beforehand, we would have returned the pizzas, and we wouldn't have paid a cent. The same was reflected in my taste. We had never experienced such a completely overpriced, total rip-off. It's truly amazing that anyone still goes to such "places."

Unfortunately, the visit was very disappointing! The waiters were very stressed and brought my friend the wrong food. After a long discussion, the correct food, the one I ordered, was finally brought. My salad came without dressing, even though I had ordered it with dressing as usual, and it was confused with my friend's request for the salad without dressing. Despite the stress, it would have been wise to take the time to take the order... You're practically yelled at, asking whether you want to pay with cash or card. That's not what friendliness looks like... A real shame!

Decent food paired with abysmal service. The waiters are rude, vain, and loud. They chased us away when our glasses weren't empty in order to make money from other guests. Everyone was irritated by this. Service is provided by frantic shouting instead of coming to the table.... Therefore, the nice ambiance is also ruined. We won't go there again!

Good service and consistently delicious food and drinks.

We were there a few days ago and wanted to sit in the shade, but we weren't helped: they didn't put up any umbrellas, nor did they move a table into the shade. We ended up having to do it ourselves, as we weren't allowed to sit at a table for six, which was the only one still in the shade. Then a few menus and the ice cream menu were thrown onto the table. Not a minute later, another waiter came and was about to take our food order, but we were just opening the menu. The food arrived quickly, but no one asked if it was tasty, if there was anything missing, or anything else. Salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, and Parmesan cheese were all placed on the table without a word. We received a much friendlier and more courteous service, even here. The toilet seat was also completely missing, which was the icing on the cake. This time there was no tip – the seemingly arrogant way we were treated doesn't suit the hospitality industry. Conclusion: 1 star deducted for the service and 1 star deducted for the restroom. It could be much better!

A very good restaurant on the island of Ried, offering a wide range of dishes: appetizers and salads, main courses, and desserts. I had one of the daily specials: Gorgonzola Lasagna. Very filling, but delicious and out of the ordinary. My companion had the Sorrento Salad without ham and with oil instead of dressing, light and delicious. For dessert, there was ice cream and a cocktail. There was something for everyone. We sat outside and enjoyed the last rays of sunshine with a glass of wine. A lovely end to the day. 👌

Not really, waiters were quite curt even though there was little going on. My wife's cheesecake was good. The bruschetta with mozzarella, ham and mushrooms was nothing. Tomato was an imposition to tasteless cold storage tomatoes. The taste of the mushrooms is non-existent. The rest is OK, but the seasoning of the rest is rather bland...
