Four of us ate today - you have to plan for longer waiting times, but the food is great. The service could have been friendlier, but that was perhaps because it was full and there was a lot to do.

We took a break in town and looked for something to eat. Due to the route and a request from locals, we decided on the “Alte Kanne”. The pizza was very good, crispy to the tip! (I like that and not a soft floor.) The service was friendly and we also got a grappa on the house at the end.

Food good, prices reasonable. Unfortunately the service is apparently moody. She was very friendly when making the reservation over the phone, but once there she was grumpy, wordless and didn't say thank you for the 10% tip. She was also impatient when ordering, saying "we're closing at 9 p.m. today because of the European Championship game." This was not communicated when I made the reservation, otherwise I would have chosen an earlier time instead of 7:30 p.m. We were then allowed to stay until 9:30 p.m. She remained disgruntled, wearing a Romanian T-shirt... the fact that the team lost 1-0 fit the unfriendly atmosphere. I will not come back, there are other Italian restaurants in Schönaich that warmly welcome their guests. If the job isn't fun, just find someone else. The job market is full of vacancies!

Grilled calamari with vegetables were very tasty, and my companion's lasagne was apparently homemade and tasted very tasty. When I'm in Schönaich again, the Ristorante is worth a stop!

Probably the worst service in the world. Very unfriendly from the very first minute. When paying and tipping almost 10%, even though she was so unfriendly the whole time, she just runs away without saying a word. Doesn't work at all. Clearly the wrong career choice

Food is ok, pizza a bit dry. Unfortunately no card payment is possible - only cash. I had to get money home again and the pizza I was picking up was no longer fresh. It's just not possible these days.

Good Italian food, I would say maybe the same as Monte Cassino. Ambience could be revised.

Fabulous pizza, thin, crispy and very tasty toppings. We were spontaneously given a very friendly welcome with 8 people, a large table was put together and we were served very nicely. We'll definitely come back.

Die Bedienung war, nett aus gedrückt, unfreundlich. Wir kamen um 21:45 in den Laden und wollten 2 Pizzen zum mitnehmen. Wohl gemerkt der Laden hat angeblich bis 23:00uhr offen. Während die Bedingung meinte sie macht es jetzt noch ausnahmsweise für uns! Wir waren über ne Stunde vor Schließung da!! Wäre es 10/20 Minuten vor Schließung wäre es was anderes aber so. Dann dauert es auch noch 40 Minuten statt die üblichen 20 und das obwohl der Laden bis auf eine Person leer war. ABER das beste noch daran das der Preis zum letzten mal aufgeschlagen wurde. Wir kommen nicht nochmal!

Wir wollten eigentlich zum Monte Cassino, mussten aber entsetzt lesen, dass das Restaurant abgebrannt ist. Laut Webseite sollten sie vorübergehend in der Alten Kanne in Schönaich darin. Waren sie aber nicht. Wenn man schonmal hier ist ... Wir haben Pizza gegessen. Die war wirklich gut. Der Service war aber trotz halb gefülltem Laden lahm und lustlos. Lächeln!

Für mich einfach die beste Pizza hier in Schönaich!

Wir haben wiederholt in der Alten Kanne mit Freunden gegessen. Auf den wirklich mangelhaften Service und die langen Wartezeiten haben wir uns eingestellt. Beim letzten Mal war aber auch das ansonsten gute Essen ebenso inakzeptabel ! Verbranntes Gemüse, Pizzen die so nicht bestellt wurden ( mit dem Kommentar „die bestellten Beilagen der Pizza waren aus“ ) und dann auch noch kalt auf den Tisch geknallt. Und das wir gesagt gepaart mit einem unzumutbaren Service und langer Wartezeit. Also wir werden dort definitiv nicht mehr hingehen.

Es war nicht der Tag der Service Kraft 😏 und beim Essen lief auch nicht wirklich rund. Echt schade, aber zumindest hat die Platzreservierung funktioniert.

Eine sehr nette und freundliche Pizzeria kleine schön nischen zum sitzen für Pärchen eine tolle Terrasse die Pizzas sind empfehlenswert das Personal freundliche und nett werde ich wieder sehr gerne besuchen

The last time I dined here was right before COVID-19 shut everyone down so it has been a good seven plus months. However, my wife and I past this almost five days a week as we walk about Schonaich. Each time I tell her how wonderful it was dining al fresco on the cute outdoor patio. Well, it has finally reopened so we rushed here to try another one of their incredible pizzas. My wife ordered the pizza diavolo while I went with their house special pizza, which is essentially the same, but with spicy salami. Both were very good. We shared a bottle of white wine and both enjoyed the grappa to end the evening. This time the service was very attentive to boot. Sadly, I forgot to take photos this time around.

Das Essen ist gut. Seit dem Pächterwechsel ist der Service leider sehr langsam und unfreundlich. Am Telefon hat man das Gefühl man stört und vor Ort leider das Gleiche. Bitte arbeitet an eurer Freundlichkeit. Als Gast möchte man such willkommen fühlen.

I finally made it here as this was the last restaurant in Schönaich that I needed to try and write a review. I knocked it down one mark for the lack of attentive service. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and attribute this to COVID-19; however, from reading other reviews this seems to be common. In fact, when my friend and I arrived, we waited a good ten minutes before I went to the kitchen to find the only two people in the place. A very nice woman then gestured me to sit anywhere I like. I will say that as long as there were customers in the outside seating area, the service was attentive. It was only after my friend and I were the only ones left that we really felt abandoned. I heard the staff (two of them) back in the kitchen cleaning up. Again, we wait a while enjoying the lovely cooler evening, but finally had to go inside to get their attention so we could pay our bill. The waitress did bring us a glass of Ramazzotti on the house, which may be customary or perhaps because she felt bad we had to get her attention. Either way, it was good. All in all, the meal was superb. I had a bowl of the homemade minestrone which was fabulous, made with veggies to include eggplant. My friend had a side salad. We both got pizzas as our meals. I opted for the spicy pepperoni while he had the "Four Seasons." Both of us thought the pizzas were some of the best we had in the Schönaich area. The entire area is nicely decorated with several statues giving it a romantic touch. Bottom line: This place could easily be a five with just minor adjustments in attentiveness.

Vroeger kwam ik er regelmatig, dankzij een Italiaanse collega. Nu jaren later is er aan het interieur en de kwaliteit niets veranderd. Nog steeds uitstekende gerechten en vriendelijk personeel. Zeker de moeite waard wie zin heeft in echt Italiaans.

Essen sehr lecker und preiswert, besonders das Bruschetta ist zu empfehlen! Service sehr schnell und aufmerksam. Die Bedienung die hier von einigen als unfreundlich beschrieben wurden ist meiner Meinung nach einfach nur schüchtern, aber dennoch sehr nett (frag immer nach ob mit dem Essen alles in Ordnung ist und ob man zufrieden ist). Auch das Ambiente ist sehr einladend, ich komme hier sehr gerne hin!

Lieblingsitaliener, sehr gutes und leckeres Essen! Schneller Service, super gemütliches Ambiente.

Wenn wir Appetit auf eine gute Pizza oder Calzone oder ein Nudelgericht in ungezwungener Atmosphäre haben, dann ist in unserer Nähe die Kanne unsere erste Wahl. Über die anderen Speisen können wir allerdings nichts sagen.

Bedienung etwas überfordert, essen okay, aber nichts besonderes

Preis-Leistung TOP!!! Sehr gutes Essen, zur guten Preisen... Minestrone sehr lecker, großartige Pizzas und lecker VINO... zum Abschluss perfekter Cappuccino... Wir kommen immer wieder gerne und das schon seit langer Zeit!

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut! Sehr leckere Pizzen, nettes Personal und schönes Ambiente. Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse.

Wir waren sonntags zum Abendessen dort. Bis das Essen kam, mussten wir eine Weile warten. Das Warten hat sich jedoch auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Die Pizzen (v.a. der Pizzaboden) und Salate haben ausgezeichnet geschmeckt.

Die Pizza schmeckt sehr gut, der Teig ist nicht matschig, die Dicke genau richtig und der Belag ist dem Preis angepasst. Der Service allerdings ist stark verbesserungswürdig. Es wird am Nachbartisch bedient, aber ein Blick zu den anderen Tischen entfällt. Sehr unprofessionell.

Tolles Lokal in Schönaich, bin Ca 1-2 mal die Woche dort. Preis Leistung unschlagbar! Bedienung und Service Is auch klasse, Ambiente im Sommer sehr schön, auch zum draußen sitzen.

...hat die Pizza, die etwas lange gedauert hat, was aber, es gab keine Eile, nicht wirklich ein Problem war. Es gibt Parkplätze um die Pizzeria, die mitten im Ort liegt. Bedienung war etwas linkisch und unbeholfen.

Ich war nun schon einige Male in der Alten Kanne und habe einige Gerichte probiert. Besonders begeistert bin ich von der Pizza, die ich fraglos als beste Pizza bezeichnen würde, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Aber auch die anderen Gerichte die ich dort gegessen habe, unter anderem Lasagne, gegrillte Calamari und gegrillte Scampi, waren sehr gut. Die Küche überzeugt. Die Essen wurden jeweils zügig zubereitet und lecker angerichtet. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich. Auch der Service hat gepunktet. Man wird äußerst freundlich bedient und auch beraten. Alles in allem ein richtig gutes italienisches Restaurant, in dem ich auf jeden Fall wieder essen werde. Absolute Empfehlung für jeden der in Schönaich etwas essen will.

... Nudeln habe ich noch nicht probiert, ich bin immer an einer der ausgezeichneten Pizzen hängen geblieben. Davor noch einen der sehr frischen guten Salate und fertig ist ein sehr zufriedenstellendes Abendessen! Mein Favorit ist die Calzone, hier ist sie gefüllt mit einer rund abgestimmten Mischung aus Gemüse, Wurst und Käse in einer Tasche aus wohlschmeckendem Teig. In der Qualität habe ich das sonst noch nirgendwo bekommen. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, manchmal geht alles sehr schnell, manchmal kommt es zu erträglichen Wartezeiten. Ich denke, das hängt ab von den Bestellungen zur Abholung. Wir waren in den letzten drei Monaten schon dreimal da und werden sicher immer wieder hingehen.

The pizza and wine were both good but the service lacked a little. The restaurant was not very busy but the server was rarely seen. My wife would have loved another glass of wine but got tired of waiting.

Das Ambiente war sehr ansprechend, die Bedienung sehr nett und aufmerksam. Unser Essen, bestehend aus Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert war sehr ansprechend angerichtet und äußerst lecker. Wir werden öfter dort zu Gast sein und können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und können nur sagen, dass das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis zu 100 % stimmt.

Ja das war mal richtig gut... Von außen hat mich die "alte Kanne" immer ein bissele abgeschreckt... Aber nun bin...
