Very nicely located restaurant right on the lake, with a bit of luck you can experience a beautiful sunset. The restaurant is very large with its winter garden, the employees are friendly, funny and even speak Italian, which is not necessarily common. The food is good but not cheap.

We went to this restaurant with 10 people on September 29th, 2024. Despite prior request, we were not allowed to sit inside but had to sit on the huge terrace (the roof was closed). It was *really cold! We were all freezing the whole time! Then the waiting time for the food: about 50 minutes. And then a meal was missing, which was only brought 5 minutes later and upon request. Even when it came to dessert, two of them only arrived when the others were already partially finished. That simply doesn't work! My Saltimbocca alla Romana was the worst I've ever eaten. Normally I would have let it go back, but I didn't want to wait that long again. Some of the meat (pork fillet medallions) was less than 5mm thick and completely dead. I had difficulty finding the sage and the food was quite salty. And the baked potato was a joke: a medium-sized sliced ​​boiled potato - that was the whole side dish... and for €22.50. Tip for the kitchen: Enter “baked potato” on Google and compare. Most of the others' food was OK. But it probably wasn't a culinary highlight... Service was very slow; We must have sat in front of the empty plates for 20 minutes or more! The men's toilets were a disgrace! Luckily I didn't go there until after dinner, otherwise I would have lost my appetite. It smelled so bad that I haven't experienced that in a long time. One of the cabin doors could not be locked and the other could only be closed with force. And in a restaurant like this, that's just not possible!!! So a clear recommendation from me: Don't go! The beautiful view doesn't help either.

We “enjoyed” the ice cream from the ice cream parlor (same name) and in the house. The addition of “flavor” on the flavor labels for each ice cream flavor immediately made me suspicious. But at 33°C the desire for something cold prevailed. The disappointment came with the first “lick”!!! You could EXTREMELY taste the artificial flavors in all 6 varieties (my wife 2, me 4). And that with an Italian!!!??? Most people probably use flavors, but not in such a way that it only tastes like them! The prices are also the same as in good ice cream cafes, which is also cheeky!!! It's a shame about the beautiful location! The 2nd star for the location! In our region, on Lake Starnberg, there are good and not so good ice cream cafes, but I haven't experienced any here that use flavors like this. From here we come to Italy several times a year (the ice there also varies between good and not so good, we haven't experienced bad yet. We now know the "best" from Brixen to Desenzano del Garda, northern Adriatic and Riviera) and therefore know very good the differences between good and bad ice cream! Making ice cream isn't rocket science, you just have to have the desire. Also to pamper the customer and not just exempt them!

Yes, it's a dream not far from Berlin, easy to reach by train and car, great food for everyone, something right on the water, a great view and the staff are very nice and attentive

The “Rissoto” they offer is not, is just hard rice (not cooked completely) with a strong tomato sauce and vegetables (and a spaghetti forgotten in it???), I didn’t eat all of it because it wasn’t good and they forgot one of the three ingredients in the pizza we order. I actually really don't like writing negative reviews, but I think one criticism is worth mentioning here: Service was great, nice, everything. Ambience etc. nice, but due to the size of course it's noisy when it's full, but the summer garden is nice. Unfortunately, however, the pizza was very bad and I wouldn't consider myself very picky. But it was actually just dough (it still worked), large slices of tomatoes, probably mozzarella on top and then what felt like half a pack of grated cheese on top. The whole thing was extremely dry and unfortunately, sorry but unfortunately true, probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. So here I would recommend that you start again on the drawing board in the kitchen😜 So if you like pizza, I would definitely advise against eating here.

Very tasty food and children are well received. What particularly touched me was a sign that invited homeless people to eat and linger. These are good people who definitely don't look down on you.

Olives were under the table when we arrived. It didn't seem clean. I had to clear breadcrumbs from my chair. We were shocked by the prices. A glass of wine for €8.50 and a cheap, much too small Limocello Sprizz for €8.50 is not possible. The four of us only ordered 2 dishes and so we didn't get bread and olives like the other tables. The beef carpaccio I ordered was so small that you could only imagine the bit of carpaccio under the rocket and cheese for a whopping €15. Apparently you could only pay in cash for the lack of WiFi. Sorry, that always has an aftertaste for me. We definitely won't be back, but the restaurant was still full, which is surprising to me since Bernau has much better and cheaper Italian restaurants.

Top location - right on the lake, top facilities, you have to like the sounds of bathing in the outdoor pool, great selection, the time was a bit too short to choose between the starter and the main course. In the summer it is advisable to pre-order... You can also eat vegetarian.

The menu is very extensive and offers far too many non-Italian dishes for an Italian. I don't expect liver or necessarily steak from an Italian restaurant. As a guest, the only question that remains is how you can serve so many seats with such a large menu without ready-made products. The food is of average quality. A special trip here is not worth it if you fancy Italian food. The terrace with a view of the lake is of course great.

Short stopover. Very impersonal, almost rude. We just wanted to drink coffee and eat ice cream. A plate of bread that had been placed with us was then immediately placed on a neighboring table. The order took a long time. There are no different types of ice cream, according to the older waiter... although in the next room there was a huge ice cream chest with many types. Well, it could definitely be better! We won't be coming back. A pity.

Unfortunately, you cannot rate the ice cream shop separately, so it is included here and lowers the rating of the restaurant somewhat. Restaurant: Super nice location with a view of the water and the beach, tables outside by the window should probably be reserved in advance. Have never gotten one spontaneously before. There are reserved signs everywhere, but they are empty the entire time we are there. I have no idea what that means. The waitress runs around diligently and is nice, but hardly even looks around to see if anyone wants something... you have to expect to wait 15 minutes like a school child until someone comes and you can pay 🤷‍♂️ standard food like pizza or pasta is Priced in the middle range at 10-13 euros and really great... I made the mistake last time and tried a breaded pork fillet with cheese and ham gratin for a crisp 22 euros... unfortunately disappointing. It fills you up and tastes good, but it's too little and cheaply presented with unsalted potato slices. No recommendation for the price. In contrast to the primeval lido next door, paying by card is no problem at all. Ice cream parlor: Reachable from outside via a separate entrance...you have to call the staff/waiter by ringing the bell...in this case, he seemed annoyed that he was being bothered with requests for ice cream. Very nice atmosphere on the terrace facing the lake. All dishes were very good. Especially the daily recommendation of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and shaved truffles. The drinks were well maintained and the service was very attentive.

Simply great! The ambience alone with a view of Lake Wandlitzsee is a real feast for the eyes. There is also very friendly, good service that always puts a smile on our faces. The selection of dishes is extensive and tastes A1! We will be back.

I was there with friends and got dirty glass for the first time, but it was extremely contaminated inside and out. Was there for coffee yesterday, 1. Coffee was inedible. No excuse, substitute coffee isn't any better either. Not recommended this store. We don't need any arrogant behavior!!!!! Shortly after the second coffee the bill followed without being asked. Just don't go there and instead stand in the kitchen yourself.

So if you don't go there, you've definitely missed something!!! Service, quality and hospitality are VERY important here. The next visit won't be long in coming. Parking is also free. Huge big restaurant! Not personal at all. Certainly nice for larger events. Two of us were there for lunch. Thursday.... We felt it was quite well attended for this time. View of water is also quite nice. So the location is great. Nevertheless, the restaurant is in a state that really needs a thorough cleaning. Right in the entrance area, a number of bottles with an enormous layer of dust shine at you. In the bar area there are basil plants in foil packaging fresh from the discounter, draped on stands. The spice shakers at the table are dirty, sticky, empty and unappetizingly dirty. There are a number of plants in the restaurant. Some dead, the rest still with labels. Everything thrown together very carelessly. You can tell that the economy here is based on mass. A pity! We treated ourselves to an ice cream sundae for dessert. Far too big for dessert and also an inedible cream. The ice cream is also of poor quality (frozen water runs through the balls) We don't want to go here again.

The fish plate was disappointing because the fish was very dry and prepared with a lot of fat. The lasagne has very little meat and the pizza was dry. The ambience and service were nice.

I was here on the weekend, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and it was packed. Nevertheless, after a few moments I got attention and a table (of course: you should reserve the place by the window with a view of the lake). There's a great atmosphere here. People are happy, talking, laughing and everything is bustling around quickly. The dishes are beautifully presented. The plates for several people are very interesting. If you want, you can have the fresh fish filleted at the table. That looked very tasty. My food was also served quickly. I had fresh asparagus with schnitzel. The schnitzel was the side dish 😉 (point deducted for that), the asparagus was on point. I also have fond memories of the attentive boss, who always kept an eye on his guests and, as soon as the sun shone again, opened the roof and turned the hall into an airy terrace. Here you can spend wonderful hours, eat delicious food and enjoy together. I'd love to come back there.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir hatte für 6 Personen nicht reserviert und bekamen einen schönen gedeckten Tisch mit Ausblick auf den See. Die große Terrasse war toll und wurde bei Sonnenschein teilweise geöffnet. Alle Gerichte: Spaghetti Bolognese, Bandnudeln mit Gorgonzola, Pizza, Tintenfischringe, Tomatensuppe, Schnecken und die Kalbsleber waren sehr lecker und reichlich! Wir können die schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen! Also wir waren nicht das letzte Mal hier!!!

The napkin in the bread basket was already stained. The staff was stressed, but at least friendly. The terrace and the view of the lake are beautiful. But you shouldn't rest on your laurels.

My wife and I last went to the Alla Fontana restaurant 6 years ago. Even then we were very impressed and recommended it to our friends. 6 years later we are just as thrilled, the ambience, the view of the lake, the extremely friendly staff and the excellent food!!!!!!! We recommend the carpaccio, it is prepared at the table and is a real treat!!! We will definitely come back and definitely recommend this restaurant. Gutes Essen,nur über das Ambiente war ich etwas erstaunt, auch Toiletten in einem Lokal sollten einem gewissen Standard entsprechen, diese hier sollten wirklich einmal auf den neuesten Stand gebracht werden.....und auch die Sauberkeit kann in so einem Lokal besser sein.....Gläser sahen auch nicht wirklich sauber aus,sorry aber echt ein no go.

We had a private event (around 20 persons) at this location and had a lovely time. The atmosphere was great and the service excellent. I have to confess, the food did not measure up to the expectations (except dessert), portions were ridiculous small for the price we paid per person (guests left hungry after a 3 Gänge Menü with additional salads, so be sure to refuse anything that is not a la carte), but we still had a great time.

Wir haben einen Tisch für 4 Personen bestellt. Der Kellner nahm die Bestellung auf. Ich bestellte ein Glas Wein für 8,50 Euro- 0,25 l.Als ich meinen Wein erhalten habe, bemerkte ich, dass es unter 0,2 l. Sie gossen etwas nach, aber abgerechnet haben sie 0,2l für 8,00 Euro, was nicht in der Karte stand. Des Weiteren erhielten wir Oliven und Brot, wo ich nach Öl fragte, was ich auch bekam. Sie berechneten für das Öl 2,00 Euro, was wir generell nicht kennen. Mein Mann bestellte Garnelen mit Öl, für 28,50 Euro, ohne Kartoffeln o.ä. Er bestellte separat Kartoffeln( 1 Kartoffel für 3,50 Euro). Bei Nachfrage kam die Kartoffel 15 Minuten später. Wir sind im Sommer öfter hier und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Jedoch ist dies zu überlegen, da wir sehr traurig über den Abend waren.

Ich kann die Kundenbewertungen nicht nachvollziehen! Traumhafte Lage und super Essen in italienischem Ambiente. Preis Leistung überdurchschnittlich für die Lage schon günstig! Egal ob Fisch oder Pasta oder nur mal eine Pizza + Gedeck mit Weißbrot + Oliven oder der Degustiv vom Haus - freundliches Personal kommt noch dazu - wir waren nun schon sicher mehr als 10 x hier - wer hier meckert, will wohl nur schlecht bewerten - ach noch an die Personen, die den Preis kritisieren - wir haben 2024 - nicht 2020, wo alles noch viel günstiger war.... - wir kommen gerne immer wieder!
