The restaurant is beautifully situated on Lake Wandlitz. Some seats on the terrace offer a fantastic view of the lake. The food was excellent. The service was good and friendly. Highly recommended.

I stopped by again on a Friday evening after a long time. The atmosphere was okay, the service very friendly, but could have been a bit more attentive. What unfortunately spoiled the evening, however, was the now completely out-of-control price-performance ratio. Even though around €15 for a pizza of this size might seem acceptable at first glance, the taste was far from Italian. The dough was more like a bland flatbread than a crispy pizza. It's a real shame; every restaurant should be able to do better than this.

For me, this is the best Italian restaurant in the area. You feel warmly welcomed, the service is very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very inviting. Thank you so much, we felt very comfortable. See you soon.

We ordered coffee and cakes. Tiramisu that we ordered is not a real tiramisu at all. It's something you can buy in a random bakery, dough and whipped cream. Yet they charge a huge amount of money for this and non-ironically ask you if you liked it. The other cake was apple strudel which was generally OK though also very expensive and not a good value for money.

Today we had reserved a table at the Italian restaurant Fontane for my husband's birthday. We were absolutely delighted with everything. The staff was lovely, friendly, and accommodating. We were greeted upon arrival and departure, even with a handshake. Despite the restaurant being full of guests, the atmosphere remained cheerful and friendly. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, and tasted absolutely delicious. We later learned that someone had recommended the Italian restaurant to us, and they came back to our table for a friendly chat and even thanked us. We can only say: keep up the great work, stay just the way you are! We will definitely recommend you and will gladly return whenever we are in the area. All the best to you all! We felt very comfortable with you.

The location on the terrace is lovely, as is the service from the staff. The food was only mediocre; the pizza dough was too thick. I've had better pizzas. It's autumn, so you should dress warmly; my girlfriend found it too cold. I wasn't warm either, although the restaurant has patio heaters, unfortunately they weren't switched on. The biggest drawback, however, was the restrooms; they really need to be looked at. A professional should give them a fresh look.

This is probably the best Italian restaurant I've been to in entire Germany! The whole place felt like Italy and the food was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and respectful. It's an hour away from center of Berlin but it's TOTALLY worth it.

I can’t give this restaurant 5 stars because card payment is not possible (they say it’s “temporary,” but it clearly has been going on for a while). Prices are on the higher side and, in my opinion, not fully justified — for example, pasta with 3 shrimp and a bit of zucchini costs €21. On the positive side, the food itself is genuinely delicious, even though we had to wait a bit longer for it to arrive. The service is excellent — attentive, polite, and very professional. Another big plus is the large parking area, with a section reserved for restaurant guests, so parking is free of charge. Overall: tasty food, amazing service, but overpriced and inconvenient without card payment.

After being pleasantly surprised last year, we returned yesterday for our birthday celebration. Everything was perfect, and our guests also felt very comfortable. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated with öots of plants and has a nice atmosphere and view of the lake but the food is not great - ive been there at least 5 times now and had the same experience. Over priced, ingredients are poor quality, plates are not warmed up, soggy salads, cold food. You pay for the view. I'd recommend for an afternoon drink only. For 2 people - 2 drinks (alcohol free and 2 Main courses) was over 60 euros

We often go out to eat and enjoy spending time together, sampling the menu. Unfortunately, quality often fluctuates in Brandenburg—no matter where you go. Here, however, everything was truly perfect. From the cold appetizer plate to the carbonara to the fillet in wine sauce (which I highly recommend)—every dish was prepared to perfection. The service was attentive, the food authentically Italian and simply delicious. An all-around successful evening—it really couldn't have been better. 🍷🇮🇹

We ordered spaghetti bolognese which is a pretty straight forward dish. Unfortunately it tasted like (plum) vinegar. We couldn’t taste any tomato and also almost no meat in there. The waiters were nice and tried to come up with a solution but this destroyed the entire experience for us.

The food is mediocre; it's very Germanized "Italian" food, so unfortunately not authentic. The view of the lake is very beautiful, but the service is too hectic and overexcited for my taste.

The food was delicious. Lots of staff. I wasn't allowed to sit by the lakeside window because I had a reservation, but no one came the whole time. The gentlemen were attentive, though.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointment for us. Apart from the great view and the occasionally friendly service, we wouldn't recommend it. The fresh chanterelles quickly turned out to be frozen goods. The price/performance ratio here isn't right at all. Two dishes had to be returned; they were a disaster in terms of taste. According to the waitress, they were the overly yellow tagliatelle with chicken and so-called fresh chanterelles. As a nice gesture, they offered a cappuccino. If it had been warm, it might have tasted somewhat better. Card payments are currently not possible, although according to various sources, this is often the case throughout the year. A very nice view, that's all.

The only real positive thing about this restaurant is its beautiful location overlooking Lake Wandlitz. The large terrace, which can be covered if necessary, is also an advantage in itself. Unfortunately, the negative impressions outweigh the positives: Despite numerous service staff, you quickly feel overlooked. The size of the terrace also creates a very noisy atmosphere, more reminiscent of a train station than a relaxed meal by the water. The quality also left a lot to be desired – a burnt pizza base shouldn't be found in a restaurant in this location. Overall: Beautiful view, but the service and cuisine are clearly disappointing.

Pizza del Ancona with fresh seasonal vegetables. The pizza was piled high with cheese and topped with frozen vegetables. The pizza base itself was good. I imagine something different when it comes to fresh vegetables, and you feel cheated. The table and the carafe of wine weren't clean either. If you want to ruin your evening, this is the place to be.

We celebrated our wedding here. It was so beautiful, and the waiters were always available and accommodated our every need. We were able to fully celebrate our wedding, and the food was perfect. Thank you so much for an unforgettable day! But we've already eaten there four times and always loved it! And the view is breathtakingly beautiful!

Friendly staff, good pizza and a priceless view of the sunset.

The Spaghetti Abruzzese was excellent, with a delicious garlic flavor, and the Polle e Funghi salad was good and fresh. Only the Caprese took a bit of getting used to; we're used to a different presentation and more olive oil. Overall, a lovely experience in a natural setting with a view of the lake.

I can only recommend it; everything from the service to the food to the ambiance was top-notch. We'll be happy to come back.

The conservatory seems a bit dated. When it rained, water leaked onto chairs/tables/buckets provided in at least three places. 🤔 The surfaces of the benches were torn in several places. It was quite chilly on a chilly day, but we were only allowed to sit in the conservatory. After a while, the atmosphere became quite oppressive: music and voices trying to drown out the rain. 🥴 We had pizza and Bolognese, although the latter tasted of almost nothing. The servers were very friendly and accommodating, although one order was brought incorrectly, and a piece of aluminum (presumably from a sparkling wine or wine) was found in a glass of soda... 🫣 The coffee was very good, but the tiramisu was just sweet, with hardly any coffee flavor, let alone amaretto. The price (for three) of over €70 wasn't worth it for me, considering the quality and ambiance.

I never usually give 5 stars. But this notice on the entrance door really touched me. It's unfortunately difficult to read, but it basically says that even people who can't afford to eat in the restaurant will be served a meal and a drink for free. A really nice gesture in these times ❤️. And my calamari was also delicious, by the way 😋.

Italian restaurant with ambitions but a lack of attention to ingredients. The tomatoes used in the pasta are rock hard and barely pink, and should embarass any Italian chef. Better are available. The "prosciutto" on the pizza is not only really tough, and thickly cut, but not true to the name. The pizza dough needs strong flour 00 and time to develop the gluten that this dough lacks. The parmesan offered dried out days ago, leaving zero flavour behind. We sent back the dead salad and the replacement was totally ok, but again with tomatoes that need 5 days to be close to servable. Good restaurants do these things. And the tiramisu stops being traditional after the saviordi that are faithfully used. But nowhere to be found are the egg yolk laden marscapone, and enough espresso to be tasted, unlike the sugar syrup which dominates this whipped cream thing. Good service, though we were the only table to not receive bread and olives, and we had to waive like drowning swimmers to order dessert, 14 minutes after our mains were finished. They asked how we liked everything, but I'm only good for 1 complaint per meal.

The service and ambiance were very good. What really annoyed us was the fact that we were charged €18.50 for a plate of bread with a bowl of olives, and €8 each for two salad plates as an appetizer, which we also didn't order. As a result, we spent €34.50 more than we ordered. The manager didn't even mention that we had to pay. What a disgrace!

As a snack before the meal, olives with an old baguette stick without oil. Then the salad arrived at the table, unfortunately warm and completely over-acidic. The salmon dish came with a bowl of dressing made of quark or whatever it was supposed to be. We didn't try it because the edges were already hard and crumbly. The main courses were OK, but nothing more. The waiter asked if we were satisfied. When we tried to explain what we didn't like, he ignored us. Then there's no need to ask! Disappointing; it used to be good there. We heard the boss is on vacation, it's a shame that things aren't going well right away.

The ice cream vendor was very rude!!! He rushed us to choose an ice cream and told us to hurry up because he was about to take a break. We only thought about it for a minute when he said that.

Pure vacation feeling. The restaurant is located directly on the Wandlitzsee lido and is beautifully designed. There are plenty of flowering plants and beautifully set tables. It offers a lovely view of the lake. The servers were prompt and attentive, even taking the time for a chat. We had three huge pizzas that were simply perfect: the Frutti di Mare, with plenty of seafood, and the Pizza Bianca with three different cheeses and Parma ham. Yesterday, friends were there on my recommendation, and they were also thrilled. I'll definitely be back.

We haven't been there for years because, while we loved the ambiance, we were disappointed by the service and the overpriced food. We've been there twice in a short period of time and were not disappointed. The staff is friendly, attentive, and competent. The food is slightly above average in price, but not unreasonable in our case. If we didn't have our regular Italian restaurant, this could be it.

The view is truly beautiful, directly overlooking the lake. It's a bit noisy in summer due to the outdoor pool right next door. The portion sizes are reasonable, and the food is filling. The quality doesn't quite match the rather high prices. Unfortunately, there are no non-alcoholic cocktails or aperitifs.

As a trained restaurant professional, I don't even know where to begin. We were there in a group, and it was around 2 p.m., meaning there weren't many guests at that time. The prices are quite steep; apparently, you're paying for the view, and it's truly amazing. My meal, spaghetti instead of gnocchi with Gorgonzola, was OK, but nothing more. Everyone in my group seasoned their dishes properly with salt and pepper, but ultimately, it lacked a certain zest. The service was poor; they preferred to chat rather than attend to the guests. We sat for ages in front of our used dishes, so we cleared them away and put them at the next table. Every time the group wanted to order something, one person had to go look for a waiter; the staff themselves were nowhere to be seen. Glasses and various cups were also piled up, which the wasps really liked. There were live and dead ants in several sugar bowls; the manager should have used pre-packaged sugar instead. If we as guests see this, why don't the waiters see it? !It's really not a nice sight and disgusting! Now, to the restrooms. There was a strong smell of urine, which is a matter of cleanliness and not necessarily the age of the restrooms.

I don't understand the 5-star reviews. A year ago, everything was great, but now... I was there recently with my companion. The place was moderately busy, and we were able to choose a table. I only noticed later that there was cheese stuck to the tablecloth. My companion ordered a pizza, and I ordered a lasagna. Both meals arrived after about 7 minutes, which surprised me how quickly it came. When I started eating my lasagna, I realized it was completely sour. I wasn't quite sure if the lasagna was bad or if someone had just played a joke and seasoned it with vinegar or lemon. After realizing this, I called the waiter and told him the food was inedible. His response shocked me a bit, because he said it was the third complaint of this kind that day. He asked me if I wanted a different meal. I was a bit overwhelmed by the situation because he didn't bring me the menu again so I could decide on a different dish in peace, but stood next to me and wanted to take another order. I quickly ordered spaghetti bolognese, even though I never normally order this dish at an Italian restaurant. After about five minutes, this meal arrived at the table. The sight of it immediately put a damper on my appetite, as it was a mush that had been thrown together and not, as is usual in restaurants, with the pasta draped on the plate and the sauce on top. Since I was hungry, I didn't care at first. I started eating and realized that the bolognese had the consistency of baby food, and the sauce was unfortunately just as acidic as the lasagna sauce. So I didn't finish my meal and left the plate with three-quarters of the food on the table. By the way, my companion's pizza wasn't particularly good either. It got rather soggy towards the middle. A waiter came, cleared the table, and asked how we had eaten. I told him that the spaghetti Bolognese was just as sour as the lasagna before it and ordered the bill. The bill listed the lasagna, which we, of course, corrected immediately, and there was neither an apology nor perhaps a small compensation on the house, which made me very sad. I would have at least expected that we might have paid for liquor, a drink, or maybe even the completely ruined meal. Conclusion: Never again.

The food was great, but the waiters clearly didn't care that we were Polish. We were discriminated against at every stage of service, from ordering, to interacting with the waiter, to payment. Furthermore, none of the 4-5 waiters could speak English. The place and the food were very pleasant, but the waiters' behavior was unacceptable – ignoring them, waving their arms, and making rude comments in German. I don't recommend it.

Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The tablecloths could also be changed. They had crumbs and stains from the previous diners on them. The food quality was really just average. The food was rather poorly presented and extremely simply served on the plates. We ordered various meat and fish dishes. The pizza at the next table looked good. The prices are definitely too high for what's on offer. Sorry, but this criticism should be a motivation.

An Italian restaurant in a prime location. Unfortunately, nothing more. The service was mostly irritating. The food (for a party of 10) was consistently poor. For example, tough pizzas, lacking seasoning, and meat that seemed substandard. We won't be going back. It's a shame, really, given the location.

A disappointing experience for a special occasion We were looking forward to a lovely evening and had deliberately chosen the restaurant for our engagement dinner – unfortunately, our expectations were not met. Right from the start, we were given neither oil nor butter with our bread, and there was no waiter nearby we could have asked. The food arrived surprisingly quickly (less than five minutes), which made us doubt its freshness. The Coke we ordered didn't arrive until we were almost finished, despite asking three times. I ended up having to get it myself from the bar. It was also very warm – very unpleasant with the outside temperature over 36 degrees Celsius. There was an almost completely melted ice cube floating in my partner's Coke – again, the question was how long the drink had been sitting. The restaurant wasn't even two-thirds full, but the waiters still seemed overwhelmed. I sincerely hope this was an emergency, perhaps due to staff shortages. My dish, which cost over €25, tasted very good, but unfortunately it was almost cold and the portion was rather small. It was particularly disappointing: I had mentioned at the bar that it was our engagement dinner – unfortunately, there was no sign of that. Instead of a special evening, we unfortunately remember this visit as a disappointment.

The women of the Wandlitz Lions Club have been organizing a pizza dinner for the children of the special education residential group "Die Börnicker" for years. On July 1, 2025, it was time again. For the children of the residential group, such a restaurant visit is something rare and special, so the excitement and joy were correspondingly great. The delicious pizzas were simply too large to be eaten completely. But no problem, everyone was able to take the "leftovers" home with them, safely packaged. The friendly staff ensured prompt service. Pizzas, drinks, and ice cream were all sponsored by Jemelo, the owner of the "Ristorante alla Fontana." On behalf of the children, we women of the Lions Club extend our heartfelt thanks for this outstanding social commitment.

It was the most horrible experience! We waited 1 hours for our food abd when we asked, the owner was adsolutly rude, disrespcfull and he just ask us to leave if we do not want wait! A kid was with us and he was hungry and they do not care at all...they were agresive and at the end, we they were capable to recognize their failure, they offered a bottle of wine but the feeling was not good at all. So sorry for the negative client attention but it is the opportunity to improve.

The service is very good; fast, friendly, and attentive. The location, with its view of Wandlitzsee, is unique for Wandlitz. It's located directly across from Wandlitzsee train station and is very easy to reach. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined over the years. The kitchen needs to work on this. My impression was... they opened the bag, mixed everything into a sauce, and poured it over the pasta. What a shame!

I had reserved a table for my birthday for 14 guests a month in advance, mind you with the respective seat reservations that we had imagined. When we arrived we were shown to our seats. I was already seated with my guests, and the water was already on the table. 15 minutes later, when the same group of 14 people arrived, we were shown to the other side of the terrace because the older guests had reserved this spot for themselves (but so had we). I didn't want to get upset about it. All well and good, we went to the other side, where the sun was shining brightly, it was extremely stuffy and we had small children with us, which unfortunately was not taken into account. When we got home we noticed on our bill that we had paid for the table next to us, a dish for €47 and 7 bottles of water, even though we only had 3 bottles of water, which we didn't even want and which were simply put on the table for us. So a total of €100 for nothing. Once and never again.
