The Pizzeria Del Gallo has been one of our regular Italian restaurants for many years. We always feel warmly welcome. The service is always very good and there is always something to laugh about with Angelo. The food is always very tasty and freshly prepared. You always have the feeling of being on holiday in Italy. Keep it up!

We've been looking forward to the Papardelle ai Porcini (porcini mushrooms) for 6 weeks and the wait was so worth it! Here you simply feel comfortable and are in good hands. Very friendly and personal service in a cozy atmosphere...I just notice that we are here far too rarely. An absolute recommendation! Thanks to the “Da Gallo” team

Excellent restaurant, very fast service, excellent food. Much better than many restaurants in Italy. I ate bruschetta, and they were really excellent, fillet with green pepper, very soft and of excellent quality. One thing is certain...in Germany you either come to Gallo to eat, or don't come to Germany. See you next time👏👏👏👏

Solid performance. Good price-performance ratio. This was our first time at Del Gallo. The establishment enjoys popularity in the town, which was evident from the many regular guests. The heart and soul here is the - presumably owner and - head waiter. Despite the fact that it was full and he was alone, the service was prompt, professional and yet personal and warm. The food. With very few weak points. Vitello Tonnato, Bruscetta, Pizza - very good. Piccata Milanese - too much cheese with tomato sauce on the schnitzel and less flavor. This can also be done better. In the end - everything is fine.

What can I say, even after more than 15 years I still enjoy coming here. Good food at fair prices and incredibly friendly hosts.

I had dinner at Del Gallo with a friend this evening... From my experience, I can only say that we were very impressed with everything from the service to the culinary... friendliness is very important. You can tell that the restaurant has been around for over 24 years, which means something!!!

Three of us ate there today. A starter, 2x pasta and a pizza. The starter (bruschetta) was good. The Bolognese and the tagliatelle with salmon were okay, but nothing more. The pizza's dough was barely cooked through, not at all crispy and therefore a disappointment. The service, an older gentleman, was manageably friendly. The cutlery was more or less thrown on the table. The Aperol was put in front of you and as you walked away you casually said: I don't have any organs anymore today. I'm sorry, but a no go for me. During the meal, I can't say whether the employee or the owner sat down at the next table and talked loudly on the phone over the loudspeaker. There can be no question of a cozy dinner. I don't even expect that from a ToGo service, but certainly not from a restaurant where you have seating. We decided not to have the usual dessert, which is something we look forward to, especially at Italian restaurants. For us, the conclusion remains: once and never again. Too bad.

Cozy atmosphere, very good food at very acceptable prices, the menu offers a lot without being overloaded, friendly service - we'll definitely be happy to come back.

We come to Osteria Del Gallo about once a year. The owner always remembers us. He is still carved from old wood and has a somewhat rubbish manner but that doesn't bother us. The food was again great. We can rate pasta, pizza, salad and dessert. Everything fine. A great evening with friends for us.

While we were passing through and had an appetite for Italian cuisine, we came across the restaurant Osteria Del Gallo. We had a place on the terrace/winter garden. We immediately felt at home and were warmly welcomed by Angelo and his son Dario. Here you can still experience family and tradition, like a short trip to Italy 🇮🇹. The food was really delicious. Definitely recommended Spaghetti Carbonara according to the original recipe, delicious! 🤤 We will definitely come back! Thank you dear Angelo and Dario for the lovely stay with you. We had reserved a table for 7 people. The first contact on the phone regarding the reservation was very pleasant and open. The restaurant was very busy, the staff and service were excellent. Here, Italian charm meets humor. The ambience is okay, but could be a little more coordinated for my taste. The candles on the window sills and in the candlesticks were probably last replaced years ago. Cloth napkins would also improve the ambience a little. “Only” 3 stars for this. The food, however, was very good. I ordered bruschetta as a classic starter. The portion and the way it was served were good, the taste was also okay, but unfortunately that certain something was missing for my taste. Nevertheless, I would order it again. For my main course I had the Pizza de Gallo. The pizza is very large, the base is nice and airy and fluffy, and the taste is perfect. It was also plentiful. All in all we were very satisfied. Would come back at any time.

We often get lunch from Del Gallo. It always tastes good and the quantities are sufficient. The dressing and side salad are great. Last week's parmesan schnitzel was exceptional - simply fantastic.

Das Essen war OK. Der Belag der Pizza war unter Käse begraben, die Nudeln waren super. Der Service war nach dem Motto: „Wenn ihr schon zu uns Essen kommt, dann geben wir euch halt was.“ Sehr negativ war, dass in italienisch über verschiedene Gäste (die im Raum saßen) gesprochen wurde.

Wirklich nettes italienisches Ristorante mit sehr freundlicher und persönlicher Bedienung. Mein Gericht (Pappardelle AI Porcini) war sehr lecker, wenn auch eine Spur zu sehr gebunden. Dennoch gerne wieder!

Sehr netter Service und unsere Pizza war 🤤 lecker. Besser reservieren da es nicht sehr groß ist. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Das Essen ist extrem lecker, die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und ehrlich an der Meinung der Gäste interresiert, sind aber nicht aufdringlich. Es ist eine sehr authentische und gute italienische Küche, die noch was von sich hält und gute Qualität bietet. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.
