A typical Italian restaurant. The space is cozy, crowded, cramped, and gets very loud when it's busy because the acoustics are poor. The service is friendly and fast. We all ordered a pizza with different toppings and were disappointed. The pizza base wasn't good; to be honest, I make better pizza dough at home. The toppings themselves were high-quality and okay, but that doesn't make up for the truly disappointing pizza base. If an Italian can't make a good pizza, well, I don't know. The pasta and so on can be as good as they want, but surely the standard dish should be convincing? Okay for a quick, one-time hunger pang. We were dazzled by the many good reviews. It's a shame, we won't be coming back. Parking is also very difficult because there's no parking space in front of the building, and the parking spaces are full in the evenings. We don't like debit card payments, and credit cards are completely unacceptable. It's best to bring enough cash.

Food is ok. Better to tell solo travelers who just want a pizza and nothing to drink, that's only possible with take-away. The prices on the menu at the entrance are wrong. It says a pizza with ham costs 9.80, but I paid 11 euros, or 12 euros because they didn't know how to do the math. No bill or receipt! The pizza has far too much cheese and ham, it's a cheap product. The taste of the pizza is way above average. There's better pizza almost everywhere in Thailand. Well, I stupidly tested the food for a larger group and we're definitely not going anywhere. Mc would definitely have been the friendlier alternative. Once and never again.

So if you're looking for a real Italian restaurant, you've come to the right place! Clear recommendation, we will definitely come back! 😊

We were totally amazed by everything this great restaurant had to offer. From an attentive old-school host, to the exceptionally good food, to the clean and tasteful ambience. The menu features Italian dishes in such wonderfully different variations and ingredients that you usually never get anywhere else. Finally a bit of variety on the menu. And the vaulted cellar is particularly beautiful and cozy. We'll definitely come back.

We drove past it and spontaneously asked if there was room for two (in the evening). Although there was a alumni meeting with many guests, a place was still organized for us. Everyone is very nice! Food excellent. Always happy:)

We've been looking forward to the Papardelle ai Porcini (porcini mushrooms) for 6 weeks and the wait was so worth it! Here you simply feel comfortable and are in good hands. I ate bruschetta, and they were really excellent, fillet with green pepper, very soft and of excellent quality. One thing is certain...in Germany you either come to Gallo to eat, or don't come to Germany. See you next time👏👏👏👏

Solid performance. Good price-performance ratio. This was our first time at Del Gallo. The establishment enjoys popularity in the town, which was evident from the many regular guests. The heart and soul here is the - presumably owner and - head waiter. Despite the fact that it was full and he was alone, the service was prompt, professional and yet personal and warm. The food. With very few weak points. Vitello Tonnato, Bruscetta, Pizza - very good. Piccata Milanese - too much cheese with tomato sauce on the schnitzel and less flavor. This can also be done better. In the end - everything is fine.

What can I say, even after more than 15 years I still enjoy coming here. Good food at fair prices and incredibly friendly hosts.

I had dinner at Del Gallo with a friend this evening... From my experience, I can only say that we were very impressed with everything from the service to the culinary... friendliness is very important. You can tell that the restaurant has been around for over 24 years, which means something!!!

Three of us ate there today. A starter, 2x pasta and a pizza. The starter (bruschetta) was good. The Bolognese and the tagliatelle with salmon were okay, but nothing more. The pizza's dough was barely cooked through, not at all crispy and therefore a disappointment. The service, an older gentleman, was manageably friendly. The cutlery was more or less thrown on the table. The Aperol was put in front of you and as you walked away you casually said: I don't have any organs anymore today. I'm sorry, but a no go for me. During the meal, I can't say whether the employee or the owner sat down at the next table and talked loudly on the phone over the loudspeaker. There can be no question of a cozy dinner. I don't even expect that from a ToGo service, but certainly not from a restaurant where you have seating. We decided not to have the usual dessert, which is something we look forward to, especially at Italian restaurants. For us, the conclusion remains: once and never again. Too bad.

We come to Osteria Del Gallo about once a year. The owner always remembers us. He is still carved from old wood and has a somewhat rubbish manner but that doesn't bother us. The food was again great. We can rate pasta, pizza, salad and dessert. Everything fine. A great evening with friends for us.

While we were passing through and had an appetite for Italian cuisine, we came across the restaurant Osteria Del Gallo. We had a place on the terrace/winter garden. We immediately felt at home and were warmly welcomed by Angelo and his son Dario. Here you can still experience family and tradition, like a short trip to Italy 🇮🇹. The food was really delicious.
