It's now my "favorite Greek". Even when it's full, service is always quick. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating throughout.

Was a guest in the restaurant on Saturday November 10th, 2024. Had ordered by phone beforehand. Restaurant is nicely decorated. The food was very good, but there was only one Uzo at reception and that was it. What I didn't like was that the staff served in private clothing. The staff is usually dressed in such a way that they can be recognized, ideally with a name tag. After the main course I sat dry for 30 minutes because no waiter visited the table. My daughter then paid the bill at the counter because no one felt responsible. My conclusion: either the restaurant has too many tables or too few staff. I made the choice based on the rating, but there are restaurants with much better service.

Rion on site 5/5 - our favorite Greek! Cool, relaxed boss & friendly, quick and careful staff. The food is plentiful and tasty, and special requests are catered for without any problems. The selection of drinks is great and you can have as much Ouzo as you like. It is usually quite full, which speaks for the restaurant. A neat, clean facility and always happy. The evenings with live music are highly recommended! ORDER BY PHONE -> WRONG FOOD AND WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.. SHAME TRIED TO CLARIFY BY TELEPHONE -> DIFFICULT

Super cozy and very tasty food. I'm not usually much of a Greek fan, but this one scored points for me.

We come from Duisburg, are often in Köthen and always enjoy being guests at the Rion...very friendly, very good food, great boss...always nice evenings for two or with friends...keep it up

Unfortunately it doesn't taste very good. There are significantly more and better Greek restaurants.

We sat very comfortably on the terrace and were served in an extremely friendly manner. The waiters are very quick and attentive. The drinks and food arrived after a short time and were all to our greatest satisfaction. Ouzos were refilled and even an extra large non-alcoholic ouzo was brought, very attentive! Especially big thanks for the cocktails on the occasion of your anniversary, very generous! We'd love to come back

Price and performance are perfectly fine.

Waited over an hour to be able to order food, then waited another hour for the food.

Long waiting time, staff did not respond to requests. Asked for ketchup 3 times, no response. Plates were picked up late. Food was forgotten. It was better, but it tasted good. .

The waiters were super nice, the atmosphere was nice and we were well provided with ouzo.😜Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. I find it difficult when it tastes better at home than when you go out to eat and pay a lot of money. Sorry, I'm a hobby cook and have my own Worked for a Greek guy for several years. That's why 3 stars are very kind.

Have really gone bad! Were there again for a long time. Food wasn't the best and what we didn't manage to eat, we wanted to have it packed up. We were given food packaging and a bag and now let's do it. I've never experienced anything like that. That was the last time there!!!

Had lunch there for mother's 87th birthday. The service - as always - was extremely friendly and quick. The food was great, the birthday child was even treated to a serenade and an ice cream sundae without prior arrangement. Can only be recommended. BUT: Call ahead, it's always well attended.

Yesterday I had dinner with my girlfriend at Rion. Great restaurant, very nice ambience, the food was great 😋 and the waiters were very nice. Gladly again! 👍

In terms of portions, unfortunately comparable to senior portions, the starter salad is just as small, gyros partly black, fries raw without browning. If there was a complaint, no response despite returning the fries, no sorry, no second ouzo. So no tip either. And at the most modern prices.

The food and the atmosphere created by the staff was wonderful 👏👏

Always worth a visit, it tastes great, the staff is friendly and if the kids get bored you can play on the soccer field. The toddlers play area needs to be redone...too dangerous! Otherwise great.. Recommend booking in advance 😉

Delicious food, reasonable prices

Service gets a 1, unfortunately the food (Corfu grill plate) was a disappointment. Instead of roasted potatoes, fried potato slices, meatballs were oversalted, grilled skewers were dry, the liver was good. My wife had stuffed loin which was quite good, unfortunately the mushroom sauce didn't even come close to being called a sauce.

Very tasty food, the waiters are really into it and often ask if everything is good or if anything else is needed. The music is sometimes a bit loud (for a short time). And in the cultivation, setting the temperature is difficult because some of the visitors are too warm with the radiant heaters and some of the visitors are too cold without the radiant heaters. Despite everything, a visit is always recommended!

You can sit there and spend the evening. It is well attended. The service is good, but it always depends on the current staff.

Good Greek food and friendly service staff. You get an ouzo before and after your meal. There is seating inside, but also outside in a kind of winter garden.

We spontaneously came to the Rion on Sunday lunchtime as a family (2 adults & 2 children) without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The staff are all very friendly, love children and are always up for fun. The operation is very fast and reliable. The food tastes delicious, the portions are generous and the selection is very large, so there is something for every taste. The price/performance ratio is therefore great. The ambience is cozy in terms of the space, but with a large number of guests it gets quite loud and restless. We'd love to come back :)

We wanted to reserve a table, but our request and name were not understood at all because there was no one who spoke German. When we got there it was very hectic and when we were shown to our table, different waiters kept coming to ask about our order, even though it had already been placed long ago. Due to language barriers, we received no answer or an incorrect answer to questions about the order. We barely understood each other because the tables were very close together. The food was very tasty and the menu had a large selection. It was worth one evening, but not a second one for me.

Das ist ist absolut köstlich ohne Frage da gibt es nichts zu meckern sehr sehr großes Lob. Nur leider ist es gerade eben schon wieder vorgekommen das mann uns direkt nach dem bezahlen dazu aufgefordert hat doch schnell denn Tisch zu räumen obwohl unser nachtich nicht mal gegessen worden ist..... Es ist wirklich eine große Enttäuschung so geht man nicht mit seinen Gästen um. Aber für den heutigen Abend kann ich leider nur drei Sterne geben

Wiedereinmal schön gespeist, mit super Personal und Service. Auch am Feiertag hätte man ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Die Renovierung hat sich ebenfalls gelohnt, sieht sehr gut aus. LG Simone und Micha

Sehr hell, sehr laut und gutes Mittelmaß. Salat zum Hauptgericht ist mehr eine Geste als ein Salat. Kalte Vorspeisenplatte kommt zu 90% aus der Dose und enthält nicht das was auf der Karte steht. Wünsche am Hauptgericht werden notiert und nicht wirklich umgesetzt. Beispiel: anstelle von Zaziki bitte mit Taramas. Es kommt ohne Zaziki und ohne Taramas zum gleichen Preis der auf der Karte steht. Restaurant war halb voll und Kellner waren ausreichend vorhanden. Daran lag es nicht. Kenne ich besser von anderen griechischen Restaurants, deshalb 3 Sterne.

Wieder ein sehr schöner Abend, wie immer hier. Immer wieder gern.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend bei Rion. Alles in allem ist es ein sehr schöner modern eingerichteter Grieche. Der Service war spitze. Das Essen kam schnell, für mich persönlich zu früh, da wir unsere Vorspeisen noch nicht fertig hatten und schon die Hauptgänge kamen. Der Ouzo hat geschmeckt und das Essen war ebenfalls geschmacklich gut. Optisch kann man an den Gerichten noch etwas arbeiten. Bitte Teller die abgeplatzt sind aussortieren und auch die lieblose Anrichteweise kann man durchaus mit kleinen Schälchen oder vielleicht einer Physalis als Deko verbessern. Dennoch würden wir immer wieder dorthin gehen, da natürlich auch die Preis-Leistung super ist. Im Lokal selber vielleicht noch ein paar Trennwände aufstellen, da es sehr laut und offen war. Ich kann Rion definitiv empfehlen.

Wir kommen sehr gern ins Rion. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und der Service ist sehr gut. Die Kellner sind super freundlich und sind immer zu Späßen aufgelegt. Das Ambiente ist wirklich super. Sehr zu empfehlen ❣️

Tolle Gaststätte in gemütlichem Ambiente. Die Mitarbeiter sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch sehr reichlich.

Immer wieder ein Highlight und Erlebnis, hier essen zu gehen. Schnelle Bedienung, mit Ouzo wird nicht gespart und man fühlt sich immer willkommen. Egal, wie lange der Abend oder das Mittag auch sein mag. Wirklich top!
