Rick’s Cafe in Ismaning

Ich war zur Messe in Giesing untergebracht. Die Dame vom Hotel empfahl mir Rick‘s Cafe. Ich war begeistert, schöne Terrasse, die Bedienung war auf Zack und sehr freundlich, der Avocadoburger mit Süsskartoffeln ein Gedicht und der Preis angemessen. Hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich am nächsten Abend wieder dort war. Obwohl die Küche um 22 Uhr schon geschlossen hatte, habe ich noch meinen sehr guten Cheeseburger bekommen ! Absolute Empfehlung ! Beim nächsten München-Besuch nehme ich sicherlich den Umweg nach Giesing in Kauf !

Wir haben wirklich hervorragend gegessen! Tolles Ambiente insbesondere auch für größere Gruppen. Sehr sehr freundliche Bedienung, absolut empfehlenswert. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Wir kennen Rick's Cafe seid über 20 Jahren und sind dort immer wieder gerne Gast.

Das Essen war lecker, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das nächste Mal, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir wieder.

Waren hier mit ein paar Kollegen während eines Lehrgangs essen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Hatte den Cheeseburger mit Bacon und Pommes. War beides lecker. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zügig. Würde hier jederzeit noch einmal Essen gehen.

Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Wirklich klein und unscheinbar, entpuppt sich aber als uriges Lokal mit gutem Angebot. Freundliches Personal. Einziger Nachteil ist die Parkplatzsituation.

Worst restaurant visit ever!!!! - No greeting from the waitress - Finally got the menu after 20 minutes - Drinks after 10 minutes - Food took another 20 minutes My 12-year-old daughter could have done better with the food. Absolute disaster!! Cleanliness, also nonexistent! I hope management changes some things soon.

I had a burger with fries. The burger was rather mediocre in taste and a bit over-salted. The fries were good, but only a small amount—you can see that in the other pictures. The atmosphere was nice.

Wonder service here! Super friendly staff, most speak English well. Beer was lovely. Did have some constructive criticism for the burgers. Burger patties could use more seasoning, salt and pepper mostly. The buns could be toasted more and maybe buttered or mayo added before grilling or toasting. Also the buns are too big. Either make the patties larger or smaller buns.

A sleazy place. At 12:30 a.m., I found the door locked, even though several customers were still sitting at the bar. They were skillfully ignored despite knocking on the door.

The Italian Burger is simply a hit! Sweet potato fries and the avocado burger are also very tasty there. Friendly staff and good selection of cocktails - what more could you want :) Suggestion for improvement: It would be cool if you could see on the cocktail menu what's in each, since you don't know all the cocktails by name :)

I like to go there regularly for lunch. Now I celebrated my birthday there and am totally happy with the decision. The food was great, the service was great and the decoration was a hit. Everyone felt very comfortable. The price-performance ratio was also very good. Can only recommend it.

Always a very pleasant visit to Rick's Cafe. Staff will always oblige to have you seated at the busiest of times and with a smile. Waiters will assume that a refreshing drink is typically appreciated whilst perusing the menu which is available auf Deutsch or in English. All fayre arrives at a comfortable pace freshly poured or sufficiently hot. Dooley Wilson may not be playing the tunes but the music is at an amenable level, not too loud but audible enough.

Gasthaus / Pub / Bistro crossover. Good Beer and Wine. Menue innovative and tasty. Excellent burgers. Run by brother and sister. Lovely and friendly Landlords

Was there for the first time (grill & chill) and I really liked it. Very nice service staff, inquiring but not intrusive. Food was delicious, Augustiner was freshly tapped. What more do you need. There are enough places outside and inside. I would love to come back.

Lovely place. The English menu is a little misleading- but other than that it can’t be faulted. Food is great. The staff are busy, and quite relaxed. Not as attentive as in some places, but very VERY friendly. Really great laid back experience.

Oops, what was going on there? Table ordered for 9:30 p.m. Pizza day. clarified in advance. Unfortunately the worm was probably in there. It's a shame about the lost time and the long journey. It doesn't work at all. Nothing more needs to be said.

Hello dear Rick's team, Since we have only had good experiences with you over the years, we decided to celebrate our wedding with you. A big thank you for making our special day unique with your great food, courteous service and warmth. Another thank you goes to the boss who took over the work of decorating for us and added her personal touch in the form of flowers and table decorations. Her husband (head chef) made the impossible possible with our menu. The team was extremely friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better location for the day. Absolutely recommended!

Nice Pub with great Burgers. Great for a few beers and a bite to eat. Very nice waitress.

Basically a good location. Unfortunately very unfriendly for families. Mothers with small children are not welcomed.

Unfortunately, 1 out of 3 of the schnitzels were inedible (rancid, bad, strong smelling). The service didn't ask if everything was OK, let alone saw a service person... The schnitzel was almost untouched and a complaint was made accordingly. Nevertheless, all 3 schnitzels had to be paid for. The statement was that the beer was canceled, she can't do anything more. Therefore €17.90 went for the ton. A pity... Friendliness alone would certainly have made a big difference - you definitely didn't feel comfortable and the employee couldn't deal with complaints.

Three people were there on Sunday lunchtime/afternoon. Ordered a chocolate fondue and 2 milkshakes. The milkshakes tasted like almost nothing. Very expensive for the price (unfortunately I can't remember the price, we didn't get an invoice). The worst thing, however, was the chocolate fondue. It's a nice idea to get your own "pot" with a candle underneath to keep the chocolate warm. Fruit was also served. The fruits were: Green grapes, red grapes, a few pieces of apple and a few pieces of tangerine. We had hoped for more, very limited selection. Why no strawberries? We are in the middle of strawberry season. Well, all of that would have been manageable BUT: The grapes were already very brown and mushy, and one was even completely moldy at the top. (See image below). That really doesn't work at all. Grapes last quite a long time if stored correctly, so I don't even want to know how old they were. The chef definitely should have noticed that. I don't even want to know what it looks like in the kitchen. So all in all a very disappointing visit, we won't be coming back here.

Great restaurant for young and old in a nice “retro ambience”. Price/performance ratio is great. Friendly service. There is something for everyone on the menu. I can only recommend this restaurant! 👍🥇

Delicious cuisine, wonderful terrace in summer

I went to Rick’s Café with a friend on January 16th. Very quick and friendly service and food arrived quickly. Both burgers (Asian and cheese) were probably the best burgers I've ever eaten. The meat is really aromatic and goes well with the sauce and greens! The fries were crispy and the hot sauce that I ordered alongside ketchup and mayo was really tasty! The dessert - pancakes with raspberry cream and vanilla ice cream - was also very tastefully prepared and very tasty! Absolutely recommend the restaurant

Essen ist sehr gut, nur ist die Portion für mich zu klein, aber das liegt an mir und nicht am Café an sich 😂. Service top. Atmosphere an sich schön und ein amerikanischer stil, was mir sehr gefällt. 1 Problem: Als wir da waren, ging ein Mann aus dem Klo raus. er hatte eine Zeitung in der Hand und legte sich vorne an die Bar. Das war sehr unangenehm. Danach redete er mit einer Mitarbeiterin, als ob nichts wäre.

Gute Lage in Ismaning. Tolle Location, sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben dort eine Geburtstagsfeier gemacht. Ideal für Gruppen bis ca. 50 Personen. Licht, Sound Tische, Sitzplätze ganz Klasse gemacht. Es war sogar ausreichend Platz um zu tanzen. Rauchen vor der Tür war auch okay. Sitzplätze draußen sind auch da, sahen auch top aus. Konnten wir nur des Wetters wegen nicht nutzen. Der Service war okay und wer nicht so konservativ ist, was die Küche angeht, bekommt was leckes geboten. Ich denke aber, so gut wie das Essen war, bekommt man hier auch eine Klasse bürgerliche Küche. Hat Spaß gemacht bei Ricks Cafe. Fotos gibt's keine, aus Datenschutz Gründen.

Rick's Cafe in Ismaning ist definitiv ein Besuch wert. Es gibt einen urigen Innenbereich und einen Biergarten. Reservieren ist wichtig, da der Laden immer gut besucht ist. Das Essen schmeckt richtig gut und die Salatauswahl ist neben den anderen Leckereien sehr gut. Es gibt nicht nur die üblichen Salate sondern echte Schmankerl. Einziges Manko ist innen die Lautstärke der nahe beieinander stehenden Tische. Also nichts für vertrauliche Business Talks. Dafür echt aufmerksames Personal. Danke dafür

Schöne Kneipe! Sehr nette Bedienungen. Schneller Service. Das Essen ist lecker und ein Burger kostet unter 9 Euro. Ok Beilagen extra aber pommes 2.90. Im Garten kann man schön sitzen. Unter einem Lindenbaum haben se eine tolle bank rund um den Baum gezimmert. Das ist echt schön. Abends gibts div. Parties da findet jeder was. Ich dans toll

Naja …. Möchtegerne Gastro… Erinnert eher an eine Kneipe, so wie früher die Billiard-Kneipe. Deshalb vermutlich die Umschreibung „Café“ „selbstgemachte Burger“ hatte ich probiert. War ein Tiefkühlt-Fleischpad, der teilweise nicht richtig durchgebraten und geschmacklos war. Ich hoffe der Verzehr rächt dich nicht. Die Burger beim MC oder Burger King sind definitiv geschmacklich besser. Nette Bedienung und leckeres Bier. Essen würde ich da nicht mehr.

An einem warmen Tag, jeder Tisch im Außenbereich belegt. Trotzdem sehr freundliches Personal und trotzdem haben sie sich für jeden Gast Zeit genommen. Man musste nicht lange warten, weder auf Bedienung noch Essen oder Getränke. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch eine große Portion für einen angemessen Preis. Der Außenbereich ist sehr hübsch. Man kann dieses Restaurant absolut empfehlen, hier findet auch sicher jeder etwas zu essen!
