For me, the best doner kebab in Ludwigshafen: top taste, fresh salad and meat even shortly before closing time, great portion size, fantastic price/performance ratio, some seating options and friendly service.

My go-to kebab shop. Everyone here is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

During my visit to the kebab shop, I ordered a doner pizza and was overall very satisfied. The dough was crispy and well-cooked, the meat juicy and flavorful. The sauce went perfectly with the toppings and was well-balanced without being overpowering. The pizza tasted impressive; only a little more seasoning for the meat would have made it perfect. The pizza was also a good size, it was filling, and every bite was delicious. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable dish that I would happily order again.

8.50 for a Dürum. The flatbread was completely tough, like rubber. I was given garlic yogurt sauce without asking. I don't like garlic and I'm lactose intolerant. When I pointed it out, I was asked which sauce I wanted. The sauce of my choice was then added on top, and that was it. Pointless. Not customer-friendly.

I've rarely eaten such a bad pizza; the taste was simply disappointing. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. Once and never again.

Rhein Döner is located right across from a bus stop, and it’s a place that seems to quietly anchor this stretch of the city. Open until midnight—even on Sundays—it’s a reliable option when you’re craving something hearty, affordable, and fast. The portions are generous, the prices are some of the best in the area (a small chicken döner starts at €5), and the outdoor tables are always lively in the evening. I’ve tried quite a few of their dishes now—classic döner teller, steak kebab plates, lahmacun, dürüm, even their Iskender and Adana kebabs. Each dish has its own character, and they’ve all been flavorful and satisfying. I’m not the best food photographer, so forgive me if the photos don’t quite do justice to the taste. To make up for it, I took a picture from my window—capturing the restaurant’s warm lights at dusk, where the city winds down and the tables stay full just a little longer. If you’re nearby and hungry, this is one of those places you’ll be glad to have around.

My local regular for about a year now! I've tried all the kebabs in the area, and this is the winner! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Really good homemade Turkish food... Turkish restaurants often offer a similar flavor profile. The quality may vary, but the basic concept and taste usually remain the same. It's similar to many other kebab shops and therefore not particularly unusual.

Well, I have to say I was there late in the evening around 10pm and they still had 2 skewers hanging there. Service/taste was top in my opinion, so I would recommend it again 👍🏽

It's very nice there, the food tastes very good. The best pide and iskender kebap I have eaten so far. Especially since I'm the type of person who doesn't like kebab meat, but I've eaten the Iskender kebab there twice now. Even the pide exceeded my expectations, because even when cold, the bread is not tough like others but tastes just as good as when it is warm. The ingredients are always fresh. Hygienically clean toilets and the entire atmosphere is well maintained. Me and my husband really enjoy eating here. I can only recommend it to everyone.

I've been going to Rhein Döner for a very long time, where it was still a small shop on the street corner. Hence the note: I am a regular customer there. I'm not an expert or restaurant critic, but I can attest that this kebab / grill is a real insider tip among the stalls. The special feature is that the kebab can not only be ordered with chicken as usual, but also with beef steak meat (at an additional charge). You should try this at least once, because I think the kebab tastes like NO ONE else in the entire city of Lu and I personally think it's very tasty, even if it's fattier than the chicken kebab. 2nd insider tip: the boss has a special red sauce that is hot and seasoned with curry! So if you like it FIRE, be sure to put the red sauce on the kebab or kebab pizza! The team also puts special effort into the grill plates, which, depending on the variant, are served with side dishes such as grilled bread, vegetables, dips and are in no way inferior to other kebab snacks. The selection is otherwise typical for a kebab grill snack bar. In the picture you can see the Pizza Rhein with steak-doner meat and both sauces Of course, don't blame me if it doesn't suit your taste, because tastes are different and I hope I can arouse your curiosity, because life is too short to miss opportunities. There is beef and chicken on the spit, good falafel, surprisingly good pizzas, and an Ardana grill. The prices are top. The only downside - it's in LU, but what do you want to do...

It's not acceptable if you order it a few times. And then once you only ordered the minimum order value, you get a statement from the driver: Boss says you didn't order enough. It doesn't work at all!!! Call the boss personally. Boss nice on the phone, you can't say anything, but still... Sorry then change your order value. But that's how you lose customers. PS: I have been there in person several times. Let's think about that for now

Anyone can do kebab. The supreme discipline is a kebab pizza. And here I can only say: “Bravo!”. Crispy base, light dough, juicy meat and both sauces distributed so that you don't take a bite without sauce! It's a shame I'm only in town for a short time. Keep it up! I'd love to come back.

Ganz Einfach, absolut beste Qualität der Speisen und Getränke zu wirklich noch fären Preisen und einmaliger freundlicher Service. Top! Wenn ich in Deutschland bin, komme ich immer hier vorbei. Super freundlich und innen alles sauber, etwas klein, aber reicht vollkommen aus. Der große Döner ist richtig mächtig und schmeckt immer super frisch und lecker. Fleisch ist zart und sehr gut gewürzt. Ich empfehle dazu die Pommes im Laden zu essen, ist eine richtig große Portion.

Ausgezeichneter Döner und Pizza gibt es hier. Jeder kommt hierher. Der Preis stimmt. Die Lage ist zentral in Ludwigshafen Mundenheim. Parkplätze sind an der Straße und man fühlt sich wohl in dem eher kleinen beschaulichen Schnellrestaurant. Es ist sehr gepflegt. Die Angestellten sehr freundlich.
