Reyna Ocakbasi in Bad Oeynhausen

We went there because of the good reviews. I went to the toilet to order and the order was placed for me. My husband thought he had communicated the number correctly, but the service claimed he had given the wrong number when I got chicken instead of lamb. I found that a bit of a shame, if you've mixed something up then you should be honest about it. The food was delicious, but you still had the feeling of being stared at as if you didn't belong there. Most of the time this happened through other guests in the restaurant. The staff is otherwise quite friendly but it took a little longer to pay. Card payment was possible.

Very tasty food. We had Adana Kebab and Doner Pide, both highly recommended. Service and operation top.

When I visit Bad Oeynhausen, this is a must for me. Staff is always friendly, portions are very good and the food tastes good.

It is a Turkish restaurant with an extensive menu. We ordered a portion of chicken kebab and a plate of adanata. Unfortunately, the service was a bit cold and I didn't feel welcome as a guest. The “hot” dessert - Katmer was also served cooled. When we took our order we were asked if we wanted tea, which we declined. When the Katmer was brought to us, we were told there was no tea at all. It was also strange that card payment was only possible with an EC card; a credit card was not possible. But there was no evidence of this in the restaurant.

Today I was at Reyna Ocakbasi for the first time. I was warmly welcomed and I was able to choose a table. After reading the menu, I ordered my food. Not a long wait, the food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The meat and side dishes were really well seasoned and very tasty. I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. Thank you very much!

Not recommended, the food just didn't taste good. Chicken fillet was chicken thigh fillet, which wasn't on the menu, the salad was "seasoned" with crumbled diced vegetables.

I can't say anything against the food, but I think it's a disgrace and that wasn't an accident because during a conversation it turned out that that's the usual trick there. The same thing happened to some of my friends. In the end, the bill asks for more than what you ate. In my case it said we accidentally typed in another dish, but that can't be true. I ordered the most expensive dish twice, even if you type something in by mistake it can't be expensive but should have been less because I had already ordered the most expensive dishes. As I said, it has now turned out that this didn't just happen to me but to a few relatives and acquaintances who were there. I would recommend everyone to recalculate their bill.

I often eat in Turkish restaurants throughout Germany and I have to say that the quality here is very good. The Tavuk Şiş and the Tzaziki are particularly noteworthy. 100% everything, come again.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The food tastes excellent and is very plentiful and almost impossible to do with the "aperitif". In terms of ambience, it can be a bit louder as the restaurant consists of a large, rather open room.

Exceptionally good food, very nice service and an unbeatably good price/performance ratio. Be sure to reserve on weekends. Absolute recommendation!!

With one of the worst kebabs I've eaten. Only chicken meat which was limp and there was a ready-made Knorr herb mixture on the salad.

We didn't like the food at all. It was just dry. The soup with meat didn't taste good at all and there were only 2 pieces in it. I've never had such bad food. Can't recommend it

It tasted good. The food was okay and drinks were also delicious as usual. Service staff were a bit overwhelmed. The toilet was very clean. It's still a 5 star restaurant but definitely 4 stars if they improve it with service. I will visit again next year. A play corner for children would also be good

Happened to be in Bad Oeynhausen and it was lunch time so we found this restaurant. Lucky find. The food is excellent. They unfortunately don't have tripe soup on the menu (Iskembe - my favorite) but they do have and excellent lamb soup. Generous portion and nicely seasoned. For my main I had the Adana plate with bulgar. It was accompanied with freshly baked flat bread, grilled pepper and tomato, large portion of zatziki with a mixed salad in a separate bowl. The kebap was very good, tender and juicy. There was enough bulgar on the plate to feed two people along with a portion of a tomato and pepper dip. Be hungry if you order this. Service was fast, helpful and very polite. Bad Oeynhausen is a town with a LOT of specialized medical clinics and it looked like a lot of staff from the clinics eat here with limited time for lunch so the service is consequently fast. My soup and main came simultaneously so the main cooled off as I ate the soup. If you are here for a liesurly lunch and have a warm starter inform the waiter to bring the main after the starter so it doesn't cool off. Also note that they have weeekly specials. My wife had one of them which on that day was a lamb stew with potatoes, onions and peppers. Also included was a portion of flat bread and a nice mixed salad - all for € 9.50. Quite a bargain. Highly recommend this restaurant and it is a real Ocakbasi with large charcoal grill area delivering wonderful results.

I'm here for the second time today. The food is very tasty and is freshly prepared. Staff very friendly and nice. Modern furnishings invite you to linger. Fascinated Price performance ratio is good. Recommended.

Restaurant not recommended as first of all it doesn't taste good, way too expensive, very small portion on huge plate. Doner kebab is also a complete disaster, soggy, just disgusting. Atmosphere is also catastrophic, there are many better places for the price, you don't even get a bill there

Delicious food with large enough portions. Great service, child-friendly (high chair available). I found the drinks to be priced too high, and the food was also high-priced but also normally expensive at around €10 and the kebab was even cheaper.

The employees were very friendly on the last two visits, you can also tip someone else, like on a previous visit and it was quite obvious that there were no "voluntary" tips. Regarding dishes: unfortunately the kitchen did not implement the entire order as requested during the last visit... e.g. The starter "broad beans in tomato sauce" was supposed to be served "warm", but it came to the table colder than lukewarm. The dish that came out of the kitchen almost cold and is completely incomprehensible was the “lentil soup”! Of course, our complaint was addressed immediately, but something didn't go right when the food order was being processed. On previous visits, the food was very tasty and could be served hot, but there is a lack of continuity here and there is still room for improvement in terms of price/performance ratio.

The food was actually very good, but there was a significant deduction in points for the salad, as there was a herbal salt sprinkled on it which was intended to be mixed.

The service was very nice, the ambience is also ok. I ordered the No. 57 chicken fillet. Unfortunately I only got cheap thigh fillet instead of breast fillet and I find that very outrageous for the price. If I had known that, I would have ordered a kebab. My friends were happy with their food. The salad wasn't tasty either because a lot of dry herbs were sprinkled over the salad and the entire salad was covered with it.

If the rating is just about the food, then it was a full 5 stars. Unfortunately the service wasn't particularly professional. The Efes beer we ordered had already expired, when we told the waitress we were just thanked and they would remove the other bottles. No question whether we would like something else to drink or even an apology. Of course the drink wasn't bad, that's not the point, but when we pay for something we expect the goods to be in perfect condition. Of course, we had to pay the full price for the drinks in the end. An invoice was not presented to us when paying.....? It's a shame, but we won't be coming back.

Sorry, but I've never eaten such a bad kebab before

My last visit was rather disappointing. Had a 0.5 still water, Döner Beyti and the Künefe. Prices have been raised and portions have been reduced. 28.50 € for specified dishes. Unfortunately I didn't get enough of my kebab Beyti. The taste is actually pretty good. However, I could have done without the hair in the salad. Unfortunately I won't be coming back :(

Turkish cuisine in a modern atmosphere. Very tasty Turkish food at a high level. Extensive selection of typical dishes. The service is very friendly and super fast. Be sure to reserve during peak times. If the weather is good you can also sit outside, but close to the street. Overall, highly recommended!

It took a very long time until we received our order. After half an hour of waiting we are finally allowed to start, but it doesn't taste good, portions are very small and expensive.

Were there with a group. Waitress was nice but a bit incompetent. The staff really should be trained better on how to talk to guests. I wanted to order dessert but the waitress only wrote down main course and ignored the rest. The food was good. The meat was dry but well seasoned. All side dishes were very tasty although very spicy. Unfortunately it didn't say anywhere that it was spicy. I only recommend visiting this “restaurant” as a group because it is very loud inside. If you value togetherness while eating, you won't get it here.

Our favorite among the charcoal grill restaurants. We live 1.5 hours away from Bad Oeynhausen, but when we go to the thermal baths in the neighboring town, a visit to Reyna is always firmly planned afterwards. The grill plate and the pide are super delicious. But other grilled dishes that we tried also impressed us. Unfortunately, your stomach only has a limited capacity otherwise I would try more every time because it tastes really good. The service is always friendly and quick. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

It used to be better than it had more food and now it has less and when they showed us a receipt it didn't say how much each dish cost, so I suspect they secretly made it more expensive.

The service was not good, the toilets are unkempt and the toilet paper is empty. We ordered kashar pita, it was white, there was still dough in it, it was undercooked and the chicken kebab was not tasty, %90 salad and most importantly it is definitely not a place to go with family can. Definitely not child friendly The only chance for companies that don't offer good service is that there is no competition.

Conclusion: service can be improved, food is satisfactory. Beyti is served cold, upon request it is said that beyti is like that. Then you can see it and take it with you to warm up. Shortly afterwards the plate comes back and the waiter says: "warm sauce was made over it." 🤔but the beyti doesn't get warm inside because of the lukewarm sauce. The food is then taken away and now you have to wait. On the third attempt, warm food finally comes. While we were covering it, we wanted to order dessert but the waiter covers it and leaves very quickly. There are 4 ladies at the drinks bar, busy chatting and it takes a while until one of them notices us. We ask for dessert. Katmer is a specialty from the Gaziantep area and has pistachios inside and out. This is apparently not the case here as pistachios are too expensive, we are told. Maybe it shouldn't be advertised as such! Then we ask for tea and the bill straight away. 15 minutes later we still haven't been served anything and the 4 waitresses are still chatting. At a signal we say that we now want the bill and forego tea. The bill is paid and at that moment we notice that €5.80 was charged for two teas. Such disgrace 😡... The lady then tells us: normally tea doesn't cost anything but if you order then it does🤣🤣🤣 Ahaaaa We will be reimbursed the €5.80.

Never had such a bad meal, kebab didn't taste like anything and was totally soft, but the lahmacun was hard as wood and I don't want to say anything about the fries. While I was preparing it, I noticed the man behind the counter sorting out something in the fries with his fingers. An attempt to contact by telephone would not be given that much value and would not be received satisfactorily.

Never had such bad food in my life. Fries soggy and wobbly, lahmacun hard and burnt, hard to bite. Doner tasteless. Simple without words. I know Turkish cuisine differently, but I would avoid this shop, especially given the prices. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

I have been able to visit the restaurant several times over the years. There is now a big difference between a la carte and 2 go dishes. The plated dishes, fresh from the grill, are okay to good. Do I have to have the salad with sauce? No. With little commitment you can do something yourself. Overall the price is a bit above average and okay. Local service? Okay to partially attentive. Apparently unskilled/family business, like most of the staff. You can work on that. The classic kebab dishes only disappoint. Unfortunately, as in many places, only chicken is on offer here. Nobody needs it in a kebab. The highlight years ago was the lamb kebab. It happened again last year, although I would describe the lamb portion as minimum maximum, if I could still call it that. Doner bag 6.50 is decent for chicken, but average. Latest experience: Neighbor's order: Lahmacun with salad and cheese 5.00 (rounded down) My order: Lahmacun with meat 9.50. Wow. Next time I'll probably take 2 with salad 😅 Conclusion over the years: started strong and then waned. A pity. As almost the only place to go in the city center, you could clearly stand out in terms of quality. Since the quality is now declining in many companies while prices have risen at the same time - which is not only due to internal price increases - this was unfortunately probably my last visit to you. Too bad again.

It was my first time there and “Turkish” cuisine… the food was very tasty and well portioned, the staff was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the restaurant for the first time. Clean toilets and a well-kept atmosphere. Friendly atmosphere and staff who are also available to provide explanations and information. Food was very tasty, especially the red sauce with the dish.

Yesterday I was hungry for kebab. Unfortunately, since kebab tastes the same everywhere, I thought I would go to a Turkish restaurant and get a kebab. It's a shame... I could have gone to any other kebab shop. It really wasn't great I'm wondering why you don't make your own kebab. Veal scrapings, Yaprak kebab. There's a Turk in Osnabrück, so I like to go there from BO sometimes because it's delicious. Feel free to pay a little more for it if it tastes good.
