Unfortunately the food wasn't great, but there was great company

Probably one of the worst experiences at a restaurant. There was a waitress who spilled hot sauce all over me, told me to go to the bathroom, laughing. The guy at the bar was nice, he brought us hot water with lemon to clean our clothes but the lady came very angry, like it was our fault, SCREAMING. Then procedeed to fight with the man at the bar.The food is very bad, tasteless. I recommend you avoid this restaurant at all costs.

The service is the worst possibile experience, so, if your realy care for your day's good mood, avoid to go at this so called portugese restaurant. The real portughese are nice people, friendly and kind. The Middle aged waitress lady is terrible rude and should not serve or interact with people. It is nothing compared to real portugese food. The staff is very very rude. I highly recommend you avoid going to this restaurant!

Want to have a cozy meal with your extended family on Sunday? No problem here. No closing times during lunchtime, they cooked a Brazilian feijoada especially for us to order 😋 Very friendly service, sometimes it just takes a while, just like the southern style. The furnishings are a bit old but that didn't bother us, it is Very cozy and you won't be noticed if you're a bit louder as a large family.

I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The waitress is always the same, a lady in her 60s and is always in a bad mood and is super unfriendly. Terrible service! The waitress made a mistake with my order and when she realized it, she tried to sell me the dish. Then, I still had to wait a good half hour until the correct dish finally arrived and the lady didn't even apologize for the mistake. On top of that, I was still ROBBED! He added drinks that weren't consumed and anyone who didn't pay attention felt bad. In the end, with all the nerve he still tried to ask for a tip. Stay away from the restaurant “Portugal” Sincere comment from a Portuguese woman!

Good service. Food wasn't good. My dish and my friend's were not served together (at the same time). The starter was so salty that we couldn't bear to eat it. My friend is Portuguese and didn't like the food. I wasn't happy either.

Everything was wonderful on the first visit. Service and food was good and quick. On the second visit, Portugal was playing in the European Championships and the restaurant was very full. Our previous reservation wasn't available... but we still got a table. Other guests were already there and getting their food. However, we were told that the kitchen would not open until later. (The others already had their food??) None of the service staff came to us and after calling several times we were able to have our order taken. We waited a very long time for our appetizers and drinks. The starters were very tasty, but the starter 'Pambas in spicy sauce', which only included 6 prawns, was grossly overpriced at just under €10. The main course came one at a time and after reminding myself several times that the second main course was missing, the second main course came, lukewarm, while my main course was already cold. Cutlery wasn't available automatically or wasn't at the table. Here too we had to constantly call the service staff to bring us cutlery. This was also the case with other guests. That was difficult because the forces were called, but only after repeated calls did they come. The service that evening was very chaotic and disorganized. People understand when there is a lot going on, but when it comes to service, it is better to agree on who is serving which tables. The service wasn't exactly friendly and seemed rather annoyed. The food wasn't really tasty and was lukewarm to cold. We didn't really get full either because the portions were small. It's actually a shame because we chose this restaurant because of our first visit. We won't go there anymore. There were no apologies or anything like that either. All in all, the second and final visit was not good and we are now going somewhere else..

Great restaurant! Authentic and friendly. Arrived a little late but was still served in a friendly and courteous manner! Had feijoada and vinho verde!😉 Both super tasty and like in Portugal! We went during the Portuguese UEFA match and it was the worst restaurant experience most of our table has ever had (across all countries). Kept us waiting 2 hours for food, served 8 out of 9 people one by one and then said we are not cooking anymore. Last person never got dinner 😂 Did not apologize but also continued to tell us off during this time when we asked when the food was coming, or to cancel the order completely. The whole thing was so bad it was almost a parody.

Incredibly bad service. For one person at the table, the main course came before the starters. After the starters, the others' main courses came sporadically. After complaining several times, the last main courses arrived 2 hours after ordering. However, a court was still missing. Without apology we were then told that the kitchen was closed and there would be no food for the person.

We were here for dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was brought out quite quickly and was ok, but nothing special.

Excellent Portuguese food. I loved the Piri Piri chicken.

Even after asking several times, we didn't get a card, there was hardly any activity (neither inside nor outside and yet there was no service even though the drinks had been empty for a long time)... then there was a complaint that we didn't ask for a card again, people complained When we wanted to pay by card... sad... we didn't want to pay a tip anymore... Of course the waitress then asked if she could round up the amount... Will I visit this place again? Certainly not

The Portuguese flavor of the food. I can say that, even in Portugal, there are not many places where seafood carts or monkfish carts are better than here. I've been there several times and always had good service.

Well done! Very nice experience in this Portuguese restaurant which serves typical Portuguese dishes. We tasted the bacalhau à bras, porco a alentejano, a salata grega and the shrimp, it was delicious! All accompanied by a vinho verde. I recommend 😉

Large portion for a lunch menu.

I've been here 2-3 times so far and the Francesinha has always been okay, unfortunately my colleagues can't say the same about their dishes. Either no taste or completely salty. Service is always the same story, you want another bottle of wine or water, you ask the same waitress 1-2 times, the other waitress again and yet it is forgotten several times. Food never comes at the same time. It's best to avoid this restaurant during events (live band etc.), as the music is played inconsiderately too loudly, making it difficult to hear the person next to you. Waiters just walk around without planning. 1 star for the good Francesinha...

Authentic Portuguese Food with a lively environment. Good to go as a large group. Very less possibility for vegetarian food as almost everything has egg content. Desserts are good as well and some are freshly made.

Alles ok, die Küche macht etwas später auf. In der Nähe von Ostbahnhof, lieber mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln fahren, geringe Parkmöglichkeiten. Ambiente ist mehr bayerisch als portugiesisch. Service ist langsam aber die Fischplatte hat geschmeckt. Preise okay.

Der schnellste Service ist sehr lobenswert, das Essen ist leider aber nur mittelprächtig. Mein Oktopus mit grüner Sauce war recht hart und ohne Sauce. Ambiente ist halt wie vor 30 Jahren, als hier noch der Meisterverein war. Nicht Hipp aber ehrlich mit einen Touch primitiv.

Doğu istasyonuna çok yakın bir portekiz restoranı. Geniş bir menüsü var. Etler ve balıklar olarak farklı ana yemekler var. Aperatifler lezzetliydi ancak seçtiğim ana yemeği (francesinha) çok beğenmedim. Belki diğer ana yemekler daha iyidir. Ev şarapları güzel, tavsiye ederim. Çalışanlar ilgili insanlar ancak kalabalıktan olsa gerek, yemek için biraz beklemek gerekebiliyor. Büyük ve otantik dekorasyona sahip bir restoran. Portekiz mutfağına ilginiz varsa deneyebilirsiniz.

Sehr gutes Essen, gemütliches Ambiente und eine freundliche Bedienung, die uns lange nicht aus dem Restaurant geschmissen hat, obwohl wir die letzten waren! 😀

- Essen kam sehr schnell - gute Portionen - Ambiente sparsam und aufs Nötigste beschränkt - leider sehr sehr unfreundlich von der Kellnerin bedient worden! Ihre Kollegen haben es zwischendurch deutlich besser gemacht.

Ich habe eine sehr gute und eine nicht so gute Erfahrung mit dem Restaurant gemacht. Vor ca. vier Wochen war ich mit einer Gruppe von ca. 20 Personen dort für einen Spieleabend. Wir hatten einen abgetrennten Bereich und haben während den Spielen getrunken und gegessen. Alles hat super gepasst. Am 20.11.23 habe ich bei dem Restaurant angerufen und gefragt ob ich mit einer Gruppe von 10 Leuten zum Spieleabend kommen dürfte. Der Mann am Telefon hat mir gesagt das sei kein Problem und gemeint wir würden einen Platz am Barbereich bekommen. Ich meinte dann, dass das zum Spielen eher unpraktisch sei und er meinte wir würden nicht an der Bar sondern normal an Tischen dort sitzen. Ich habe dann gestern Abend nochmal angerufen und die Zahl von 10 auf 15 Personen erhöht und nochmal gesagt, dass wir zum Spielen vorbei kommen würden. Auch da hieß es es sei kein Problem. Als wir heute ankamen wurde uns von der Kellnerin mitgeteilt, dass der Chef nicht wolle, dass wir in diesem Raum spielen und der andere bereits belegt sei und es wurde mehrfach nachgefragt mit wem ich denn telefoniert hätte. Wir sind dann weitergegangen, aber haben Freitagsabends natürlich nichts mehr in der Nähe gefunden. Für mich als „Organisatorin“ war das ganze super unangenehm, da wir uns alle sehr auf den Abend gefreut haben und viele dann lurz darauf Heim gefahren sind. Die 3 Sterne gibt es für den ersten Abend dort und die fairen Preise!

Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, Essen schmeckt super, die Francesina fast wie das Original aus Portugal.

Vorspeisenteller mit Fleisch und Fischelementen ganz lecker. Hauptspeise war ok. Gibt noch spannende Gerichte auf der Karte, die beim nächsten Besuch ausprobiert werden!

Was vieles rausreißt, dass es einer der wenigen Lokale in München ist, in denen man sowohl Livemusik, als auch original südamerikanisches Ambiente und Flair erleben kann. Wenn einer der lokalen Bands auftritt, dann verwandelt sich das Restaurante o Portugal in einen südamerikanischen Tanztempel. Ohne die ganzen deutschen "Salsa-Sportler", die noch nichtmal ein alkoholisches Getränk zu sich nehmen, weil sonst die Perfektion ihrer Performance leiden könnte. Hier tanzt jeder! Vom kleinen Kind bis zur Oma. Vielleicht komm ich mal ohne Konzert, nur zum Abendessen und vielleicht verbessert sich dann auch mein Eindruck der kulinarischen Seite. Das Ambiente eines Lokals aus den 70gern wird, wenn man noch ein paar Jahre wartet, vielleicht ja auch noch Kult. Wenn die Bedienungen sich warmgetanzt haben, dann werden sie auch freundlich zu ihren Gästen, es entgleitet ihnen dann nicht nur ein Lächeln. Also in Summe, ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig das ganze, aber durchaus liebenswert. Nur, jeder wird sich hier nicht finden...

Um lugar super aconchegante, muito bom para planejar jantares e aniversários. Os donos são pessoas muito cordias e atenciosas. Aqui você encontra vários pratos portugueses e alguns brasileiros. Eles também tem salgados de entrada, como risole, bolinho de bacalhau, cochinha... Os pratos são bem servidos e a maioria bem saborosos. Muitas opções de bebidas. Já fui em varias ocasioes, inclusive esse ano de 2023 comemorar meu aniversário com alguns amigos. Vale a pena conhecer.

Ich bin hier neu zugezogen und das erste Lokal, wo ich hingegangen bin, war ein Volltreffer. Meine Güte, wie kann man nur so gut kochen?! ❤️ Preis-Leistung ist top, die ganze Speisekarte könnte man hoch und runter bestellen! Bedienung war sehr freundlich trotz einer großen Veranstaltung. Das war mit Sicherheit nicht mein letzter Besuch. Muito obrigado!

Primeira vez num restaurante português na Alemanha. Tenho a dizer que fiquei fascinada com a simpatia. A francesinha estava no ponto. Provei os lombinhos do meu amigo, e estavam uma delícia. Parabéns aos cozinheiros e donos por espalharem sabores portugueses por Munich.

Restaurante bem grande, muito bom para quem vai em grupos grandes. Os pratos vieram bem quentes e o menu com tudo que é típico de Portugal. Não gostei muito do pastel de nata, mas o pudim estava delicioso. Recomendo o bacalhau com natas

Well…agreeing with the comments that restaurant premises look very old-school and more like repurpose from Bavarian beer restaurant into another one, without much change except for you can see the pictures of Lisbon and Porto hanging. Anyways. Food is hard to judge being not an avid portuguese dishes eater, but shrimps in spicy sauce were pretty juicy and flavorful. Side note - I like salty food and consistently got comments from my friends that all their dishes were extremely salty, which I didn’t notice at first. Dishes presentation is quite simple. Service on a Friday night was slow, but friendly and with a smile. Overall, cannot note anything positively special.

Unbedingt das Seeteufel-Risotto (arroz de tamboril) ausprobieren ! Schmeckt wie bei Muttern, und ich weiß wovon ich spreche. Das Ambiente ist rustikal, das muss man mögen. Die langen Tischreihen sind jedenfalls auch sehr typisch. Unbedingte Empfehlung !

Ein Witz!! Das Essen schmeckt immer wieder anderes!!heute gut morgen schlecht!! die Muscheln João Pato sind immer über gesalzen(Mann schmeckt nur das Salz!!sehr oft ist der Bedienung unfreundlich,genauso der Besitzer!!sehr schade!!!

Quando um português está fora do seu país, tem saudades da excelente gastronomia portuguesa. Um restaurante com o nome Portugal deveria fazer jus ao bem servir da restauração lusa. Não foi de todo o caso. Umas gambas ao alho que chegaram frias à mesa, um bife à Portugal com batatas fritas de pacote (congeladas). O bife era normal, o molho de português não tinha nada e vinha com uma espécie de presunto em cima. Ovo a cavalo nem vê-lo. Salvaram-se a imperial Super Bock e o pudim flan. A não voltar

Foi uma visita muito agradável, boa comida tipicamente portuguesa, bem confeccionada, rápidos a servir, atendimento muito profissional e simpático. Gostamos da cataplana e dos bifes que pedimos,as sobremesas,pudim flan e mousse de chocolate, estavam muito boas. O restaurante fica situado nas traseiras da estação "München-ost". Voltaremos com toda a certeza. Recomendo.

A comida do restaurante é muito boa, porém tem que aguentar o tratamento ruim tanto dos funcionários, quanto dos proprietários.Extremamente mal educados. Na ultima vez que fomos, marcaram bebida a mais na conta e se exaltaram na hora que pedimos para retirar e subiram os preços de algumas coisas no dia do jogo.

Comida razoável, atendimento do pior que já vi, tanto duma funcionária como por parte do suposto proprietário.

Óptimo jantar com ementa tipicamente portuguesa . Espaço acolhedor, atendimento simpático e a refeição estava óptima. A repetir numa próxima ida a Munique

Nota-se a influência alemã em alguns pratos. Os quadros nas paredes com imagens de Portugal não são o suficiente para considerarmos este um restaurante tipicamente português. A simpatia, algo que tão bem caracteriza grande parte dos portugueses, infelizmente não foi minimamente sentida durante a nossa visita.

Große angenehme altmodische Vorstadtwirtschaft am Ostbahnhof südseitig, inmitten eines HighTec Büro Parks (Werksviertel genannt). Portugiesische Hausmannskost zu sehr erschwinglichen Preisen, mit (zu) große Portionen, nicht besser, aber auch nicht schlechter als eben Hausmannskost, mit Ausnahme der Desserts, Flan, Mousse au Chocolat etc., die sind auch Hausmannskost, aber phänomenal gut.

Excelente restaurante! Comemos maravilhosamente bem, alem do ambiente muito acolhedor com funcionarios super simpáticos! Comemos em dias distintos e td mto bom! O bife a cavalo, de comer rezando! Recomendo sem dúvida alguma!!!

Terrible and very rude staff ! I orderered a sprite obviously mixed with more water than sprite , I asked a Porto wine which was much too sweet for a real Porto wine, I said it to the staff which was having their meal next table near all other guests, one of their staff (said he brought it from Portugal himself and asked as simple response “do you have diabetes ? Then if not it s ok then” , Was very unexpected and rude and left! I went back next day to complain, the waitress which was making fun or criticising at loud the guests around the room while eating replied “dont worry, he did not mean it ! “ . Are you kiding or what, naking fun or mocking people in the same room, no thanks !

Wir waren heute in einer Gruppe von 8 Personen da. Angekommen sind wir zu zweit. Nachdem die Gäste die nach uns kamen schon bedient wurden habe ich mal aktiv nach der Karte gefragt. Das Personal hatte keine zugeordneten Tische, was dazu führte das mal keiner und mal mehrere Bedienungen kamen. Hat aber vor allem zu Chaos bei den Bestellungen geführt. Bei der Bestellungsaufnahme wurde die (glücklicherweise vorhandene) Wiederholung der Bestellung schon falsch wiedergegeben. Auch die Korrektur hat leider nicht zum Erfolg geführt. Es wurde falsches Essen in Art und Anzahl gebracht. Getränkebestellungen wurden zwischendurch komplett vergessen. Bei der Rechnung sind die Getränke dann leider wieder aufgetaucht, obwohl nie erhalten. Dann hat der Service auch noch mit uns Gästen 10 Minuten diskutiert, obwohl wir aufgrund des schlecht laufenden Services Strichlisten geführt hatten. Absolut inakzeptabel! Wer einen solchen „Service“ bietet hat in der Gastro nichts verloren

Der Fisch war recht lecker. Die Fleischspeisen waren eher okay. Das Ambiente ist gemischt: von rustikal bis schick - je nach Raum.

Seit unserem letzten Besuch hat sich vieles geändert,leider. Oberflächlich bis uninteressiert das Personal, die Qualität ganz weit unten, der Tintenfisch vom Grill kam lauwarm und mariniert ohne Grillspuren auf den Tisch.
