The food was mediocre. Besides, the sign on the door said card payments were accepted. That wasn't the case! I had to go to the bank to withdraw cash, which cost me an extra €4.50 since I bank with Commerzbank. Apparently, they "ran out of receipt paper." Personally, I think it's outrageous to make customers pay more just because the staff are incompetent enough to have enough paper on hand. On top of that, the service was very unfriendly. I won't be going back.

Great food! I'd gladly come back again; the welcome was friendly, the food arrived quickly and tasted great.

Hello, we were here for dinner on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 6:15 p.m. Unfortunately, we had to wait until 7:10 p.m. for two pizzas. Then we had to hurry, as Karl May starts at 8 p.m. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed (the restaurant was full), but very friendly. The ambiance outside is a mishmash of various tables and uncomfortable chairs. Now, the pizza. It was absolutely amazing! We haven't eaten anything this delicious in a long time. We'll definitely be back next year (but we'll plan to spend more time 😃).

The food was good, but the service, unfortunately, not so good...! I had booked a table in advance via the reservation system – a week in advance – and never received a response! Then I called again the day before and inquired; nobody knew anything about it, but they did take the reservation! Due to the weather, we wanted to sit inside. We arrived, went in, and everything was full. The reservation was in the book, and I was told we could choose a seat outside... A good start. We all ordered pizza, which arrived 45 minutes later. The pizza was good; lots of different people were setting the table, serving drinks, serving food, and taking the cash. It was all very chaotic. Unfortunately, we won't be eating here again. Oh, and the restrooms weren't particularly clean. It's usually okay for men, but our wives felt very uncomfortable, to put it diplomatically!

The team from Allianz Versicherung Hagenow Björn Geistlinger was here and felt very comfortable. We are happy to give this a 5 star rating and are thrilled. Attention and really good service are what characterize this restaurant.

We wouldn't come here again. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for the food. The portion of lasagna, while tasty, was very small, so even I, as a woman, was still hungry afterward. Otherwise, the service, prices, and ambiance were average.

The food was okay... not very high quality. Half of it was forgotten, and the drinks delivery didn't match the order either. The service was just about acceptable. The prices definitely don't match the quality of the food.

Location: Great - right on the market square. Food: Standard - we had the Italia and the truffle pizza. Very dry crust, lots of arugula, and not very tasty toppings. The pasta was probably better, but nothing special. Drinks: Good, though served in some dirty glasses. Campari-O-Juice (7.50) was served in a beer glass. Cutlery: Knives too blunt for the pizza. Service: Overwhelmed - when I mentioned the dirty glasses, he simply replied, "I'll pass this on." When I mentioned this to the head waiter, he simply replied, "These colleagues are new. They don't speak German very well," but he didn't make any attempt to apologize. We won't be back.

Eight of us went to eat at 5:00 p.m. and were very negatively impressed. The service was abysmal. The staff didn't know our table numbers or the dishes on the menu. You waited forever for a simple drink order and then you were served beer from dirty glasses or a Campari-O that wasn't even 100ml (for €7.50). You can try to complain, but the staff don't care. After waiters repeatedly come to your table and ask if you've ordered food, you end up getting a meal of varying quality that doesn't even remotely resembles the one on the menu. I will never set foot in this restaurant again and am deeply disappointed.

Bad service, food never arrived, never again, not recommended. After ordering, only drinks arrived, and after 45 minutes, the two pizzas I ordered still hadn't arrived, I had to approach three "waiters" to at least pay for the drinks and leave. And the place wasn't very busy. Unbelievable!

Disappointing Evening: Shortcomings and Ignorance Sour the Visit Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was very mixed and ended in disappointment. The pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffles was a problem in itself. The mushrooms were not only mushy, but also had a strange, watery, and not-so-fresh taste. It was simply inedible for me. As if that weren't enough, I also found a red plastic thread in the pasta. The fish dish, which was advertised as a fillet, wasn't ideal either, as it contained some bones, which aren't naturally found in a fillet. Overall, everything was very unseasoned. What shocked us most, however, was the staff's reaction. Instead of an apology or a solution, our concerns were completely ignored. There was neither an apology nor any form of redress. This kind of behavior is truly disappointing and unacceptable to us. We unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant based on our negative experience. P.S. The pizzas were okay

We were there on a Saturday before the Winnetou performance. It was quite busy. Nevertheless, the food arrived quickly. We ordered two pizzas, and both had really good toppings. We'll be back👍👍👍

The food was delicious. The calzone was very well filled, and our custom requests were implemented without hesitation. The pizza tasted very good. The staff was pleasant, courteous, and friendly. We'll definitely go back on our next visit to Bad Segeberg.

We were generally satisfied with the food, as it tasted good. The portions were also great for the kids. It was also really quiet for the Karl May Festival. The waiters didn't really know what we wanted or were playing on their phones behind the counter, for example. Also, the cutlery, the table, and the floor weren't particularly clean. Maybe we just went on the wrong day. Overall, it was still okay.

Many write about the grumpy service. I find that far too harsh. Yes, he is not a solo entertainer, but rather serious about it. But very, very attentive. And I invited him to the usual final drink. He then smiled and explained that he never drinks during work but that he gets off work at 9 p.m. and would be happy to have a drink with me. A very fine person.

We spontaneously decided to eat there. We were a little taken aback at first because it was completely empty and we were the only ones. But the food was really tasty and the service was really nice. We had it delivered. Very disappointing and partly not edible! I hate to throw away food, but unfortunately there was no other way... It may be that it just didn't suit our taste. But I insist on freshness, old food and leftovers don't work! The bread provided: Was definitely not fresh! Hard and dry, at least from the day before. Looked like other guests' leftovers. Seafood salad: Mixed salad, very oily, peppers were partly rotten. There were also fried fish leftovers, some of which were very dried out. By seafood I mean something different. And not even fresh fish. Antipasti: Were OK, very oily. In other guests' photos, the plate looked more special, with more different components. Nothing special with just vegetables. Pizza: It was quite cool, which is unfortunately not unusual for food that is delivered. The taste wasn't our cup of tea, the dough tasted strongly of yeast and the topping had a neutral taste. Ravioli: Unfortunately also very sober and I don't think these are homemade, hence a false statement. Very pressed filling, dough very soft. Unnatural consistency. Was with you for the first and unfortunately last time. What do you think when you pack this up and deliver it? That we guests or customers don't notice this? In such a case, I don't complain, it was deliberate and hence the bad rating.

The location is great, the service is top and the food is a dream. We'll definitely be back. We can only recommend it.

We've been lurking around this Italian restaurant for years, we weren't really interested, the empty tables unsettled us. Now we just wanted to know and were more than pleasantly surprised! Very tasty food (pizza and pasta) in generous quantities and a nice (Christmas) atmosphere. Absolutely recommended! We'll be back!

Food: was good and tasted good, but could still be improved a bit compared to others. Service: was ok. There were painting supplies for the child, but unfortunately the felt-tip pens were already pretty broken. I would have preferred colored pencils. Ambiance: we were the only guests, but the heating could have been turned up a little. It was really cold, which made it uncomfortable.

Very stylishly furnished and clean. Friendly and competent service - prompt and attentive service. The bruschetta was mega, the spaghetti with salmon and gorgonzola sauce was very tasty and the Diavolo was spicy but not fiery (the dough, like the bruschetta, was fluffy and crispy at the same time) - all in all super tasty.

My wife and I were here for the first time. We looked for a nice Italian restaurant in Bad Segeberg before the evening performance of “Karl May” around 3:00 p.m. A beautiful terrace with a view of the market square and very friendly and considerate staff with great cuisine and a great price/performance ratio and a very cozy restaurant from the inside just made it more fun. Food and drinks (red wine/beer/Sambuca & Averna) were great. Thanks alot. It's worth booking a table in advance. We were lucky because we were already there in the afternoon and we will come back at the next opportunity👍👍.

Worst carbonara, with cream and raw onions, I've ever ordered. Waiting time to place an order is 20 minutes. Waiting time from ordering to eating at the table was 30 minutes. The pizza is good, although quite greasy. Of 6 dishes, 2 were wrong. Can happen. It was improved, but wordlessly. Without an apology and without saying how long it will take again. No further questions in between asking whether it tastes good or whether other things are needed.

Were there at prime time, but unfortunately the waiters weren't very good at communicating and ignored us. Only after repeated requests did the waiters let us place an order. Mistakes can happen and everything is forgivable, but the sum of the mistakes will ensure that I won't eat there again. Fillet steak was fried to death, but the pepper sauce, which was not there, was very tasty. On the whole you have to say the service needs to be replaced or trained because the food is ok.

Sorry, but we can't understand the good reviews. This restaurant has nothing to do with an Italian restaurant at all! The taste of the food is ok, but you can also get the same thing in Feuerstein or Einstein. We had antipasti and salad. If you want to eat real Italian food, you should go to Fedula or La Famiglia.

Dishes are dirty. Service is slow and unfriendly. In addition, the dishes are not super Italian and the pizza tastes like a 3/10. partly not fully baked or after old rags.

Went there for dinner with our grandchildren before visiting Winnetou. The four of us were all very impressed by the food and the friendliness of the staff, so much so that we went back there the next day.

I ate and drank something there with my wife and a mutual friend before attending the "Santiano" concert on May 18th, 2024 (I received a Rg. No. 26110 dated May 9th, 2024). Since the concert was very well attended and there was a good crowd both in the restaurant and in the bar car, we were happy to accept a slightly longer wait. The food was also really tasty, although we were surprised by the 4 larger ice cubes in a 0.3 l glass and 1 ice cube in each of the beers that were served. I've seen and experienced (almost) everything when I've visited restaurants over the past few decades, but ice cubes in beer were new even to me. Therefore, I deducted 2 stars overall, but still recommend the restaurant.

We were there when no one was sitting inside and had peace and quiet. The food was very tasty and there was a lot of cheese everywhere. Of course it's a matter of taste, but for me it was great. The portions will definitely fill you up! The drinks aren't overpriced either.

Me and my partner were here for the first time today. The service was very friendly and attentive. Everything went great from the starter to the main course. Italian music is playing at a pleasant volume. There aren't very many tables and the space is a bit smaller, but an attempt has been made to create a pleasant ambience through wall paintings and plant accents. The antipasti plate for one person is very large and could almost be a main course. Everything delicious and fresh. The main course (Bistecca al Fichi) was also very tasty. The rump steak was between medium-rare and rare. The sauce with figs was nice and sweet and went great with the steak. At the end there was a limoncello on the house.

An all-round successful evening. It's been a really long time since I've had such a good meal. The dish (beef fillet) was perfectly fried to medium rare and was a delight! The owner is nice and friendly, as are the serving staff. A lovely evening, complete with anecdotes, stories and a tour of the house by the owner. TOP price-performance ratio. Thank you

DANGER! Food poisoning. We ordered dishes there, half of which obviously contained expired products, the other half wasn't visually appealing but was still ok on the surface. After we immediately reported this to the owner, he became very angry and even claimed that no one had ever complained about his food. During this insolence, the rest ate their dishes. Despite everything, the owner made us pay and didn't apologize. Hours later half of us who ate were very sick. When things got worse days later, the doctor discovered that unfortunately all of the “eaters” had food poisoning. We have notified the health department. Be careful of this restaurant, it is bad for your health. Apart from that, the furniture and toilet rooms were very worn out. A pity

Short and sweet. The best restaurant I've ever eaten in! The food was just perfect. I could go into detail, but you don't have to. And I've been to a lot of different restaurants all over Germany!

Unfortunately, the spaghetti Bolognese was bad, the sauce was hardly seasoned and seemed as if it had been prepared quickly by someone with no cooking experience. Maybe something in the kitchen didn't go as it should and people improvised, but then you should offer the guest a different dish. (We ate there in summer 2023)

We moved here a few weeks ago and found this sweet Italian place, the pizza is really amazing as well as the pasta. At the beginning of our visit our children even got a little treat to snack on from the kitchen which was also delicious so this is definitely it Locally worth a visit

The two of us were there on a Sunday evening, we were the only guests. The atmosphere is very dated and kitschy. The long menu also made us suspicious. The food was okay for me, the rocket could have been fresher. My partner's pizza was quite cold and didn't taste good either... The service wasn't bad, but it could have been a lot friendlier.

Food on site was super delicious! The salad tastes excellent and fresh! Plus fresh bread, homemade of course. Plus a pizza calzone, well filled and delicious, I'm full and very satisfied. The ambience with Italian, calm music invites you to linger. I will gladly come again. Price wise too! Try it out!
