An absolute insider tip. Nice, friendly, and attentive service. We managed to get a table for two even without a reservation. The schnitzels are beautifully thin and cooked to perfection. And the homemade tiramisu is a dream. We'd love to come back. ;-)

A very attractively renovated restaurant with excellent food and friendly service. However, when we were there last week, the restaurant was very busy and the kitchen couldn't keep up. Apparently, it's very small, because only two meals came out at a time, followed by a longer break. By the time we got our food, we had already finished our 0.5l Äppelwoi, and I had to hurry with the food to catch the train. At least they could have pointed that out.

A wonderful, home-style restaurant with a great atmosphere. You can dine inside in the old half-timbered building or outside on the square in a beer garden atmosphere. Almost no traffic in front of the door. Home-style food, with the emphasis on good. Delicious schnitzel. Beer from the Faust brewery in Miltenberg, including Kräusenpilsner. Special praise for that. A wonderful, relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. We'll be back in a heartbeat 👍

Full marks in every respect. I haven't had better Kaiserschmarrn in Hesse yet; it's truly a delight! In summer, you can also sit outside and enjoy the church square. The staff is also super friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back. :-)

A rustic little restaurant, friendly staff, delicious schnitzel and beer.

The food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely. Unfortunately, we waited an hour for our food, so we even had to ask if we hadn't been forgotten. We also had to request menus and cutlery ourselves. It would have been nice to get a discount or a dessert on the house for that. We would visit the restaurant again, but the service still leaves something to be desired.

Friendly, young, and competent staff :) No wait time, either for drinks or food. It was really quick, even though it was busy. Highly recommended if you like German cuisine! Worth a visit :)

This is an absolute insider tip for German cuisine! Yes, they also serve schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn, so Austrian dishes too. The new team is so friendly, so dedicated, and cooks with passion. Anyone who loves good food has to visit this restaurant!

I ate at the Blaue Blume today, and I'm absolutely thrilled! We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered; the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and very accommodating, without being intrusive. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the speed: We had barely ordered and the food was on the table in no time. Despite the quick preparation, every dish was fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The hand cheese tartar is highly recommended! :-) It's best to reserve a table in advance.

We were here for the first time today. Great location, very, very tasty food. The drinks seemed to take a while to arrive. But nothing negative, it was busy today. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

A very cozy restaurant, with a beautiful dining room and a pleasant beer garden. The menu is just the right size with a selection of dishes, in addition to changing daily specials. From the appetizer to the dessert, it was truly excellent; the person in the kitchen knows what they're doing 👍. The appetizer salad was fresh and sophisticated. Roasted pork knuckle with a perfect crust, delicious sauerkraut, and homemade mashed potatoes. The sauce was served in a separate glass, appealing and cleaner than on the plate. For dessert, caramelized apple rings with vanilla ice cream and vanilla sauce. Very tasty. The service was excellent. Even though the restaurant was really full, the three waitresses were in a good mood the whole time and smiled at every guest. For me, it was a relaxed dinner, and I would love to come back. The people are really great, honestly.

We visited the Blaue Blume for the first time this weekend. Given the hot weather, the lovely, shady, and cozy beer garden right next to the restaurant was the perfect spot for us. It's very pleasant and quiet there. We ordered Frankfurter Schnitzel, and it was absolutely delicious. It went with a Krausen beer. WOW... what a treat! The service is super friendly (authentic) and very attentive. Nothing is left to be desired, and you feel right at home there. The menu offers a very good selection. The price/performance ratio is reasonable. We'll definitely be back. Great restaurant, excellent food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere.

Now we've made it to the Blue Flower in English, after the owner switched to the restaurant. We were greeted warmly, given a table right away, and given the menus. Many items have remained the same, but there are also new dishes. We had the green sauce with fried potatoes and Blümchen's handkäs (cheese). Very tasty. No long waits and friendly service. We'd be happy to come back.

Home-style cooking? More than that, very, very tasty and plentiful food at fair prices... Top-notch service, typically Hessian, with lots of heart and love. We were there on a Saturday around 6 p.m. and managed to snag a great seat in the courtyard. The ambiance was also lovely. Highly recommended. 😉

I celebrated my birthday in the beautiful vaulted cellar of the Blaue Blume in Dreieich – and it was simply perfect! From the super-friendly service to the ice-cold, refreshing Äppler (apple wine) to the sensational "Blümchen" (flower) hand cheese with cinnamon and bacon, everything was just perfect. An apple wine bar with a special charm – thank you so much for this unforgettable evening! We'll definitely be back.

A beautiful place with a great attention to detail! While the children played by the fountain and on the Lindenplatz, we always had them in view and could sit and relax. Our four-legged friends were also taken care of – a water bowl was immediately provided. The highlight for the adults: a free shot of schnapps, served directly and warmly by the owner! You rarely experience such service and ambiance. We'll definitely be back!

The Blaue Blume has been one of my absolute favorite restaurants for a few months now—both in winter, when the rustic atmosphere suits the weather, and in summer, when you can sit outside in the courtyard. I absolutely love the home-style food at a fair price. I personally recommend the "Wilhelm" meatloaf and the Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) for dessert. The service was always friendly and attentive. Definitely worth more than just a visit.

This lovely restaurant is located in the historic center of Dreieich-Sprendlingen and is housed in a small half-timbered house with a wonderful ambiance (there's also a cozy vaulted cellar) and plenty of space for outdoor dining. We loved the food, the service was very attentive, and we'll definitely be returning to the Blaue Blume many times.

The Blaue Blume Dreieich has had new owners since February – and it's noticeable right away! We spontaneously stopped by after the swimming pool and were absolutely thrilled. The owners really thought of everything: There were coloring books for the kids, children's cutlery, and even some sweets – so we could enjoy our Handkäs (traditional cheese) and original Wiener Schnitzel in peace. Great food, attentive service – we'll definitely be back!

Went to the Blaue Blume on Saturday evening. Very nice atmosphere and a full restaurant. Drinks came quickly and the food, as prepared, also very quickly. The preparation was great and it also tasted excellent (veal cheeks and organic Wienerschnitzel). Service was great and attentive. Price - performance is right. We'll definitely be back.

Today was our first visit to the Blue Flower. Unfortunately, we didn't have a reservation, but that wasn't a problem for the manager. She immediately found a solution and found us a table, despite the restaurant being full. The food was delicious and the service very attentive. We'll be back!!

The food was excellent, and so was the service at our table. However, during the course of the evening, one guest (wearing corduroy trousers) said he had to wait staff. He hadn't washed his hands, nor was he obviously part of the staff. This seemed very unprofessional.

I was on site with the owners because I had an appointment. The restaurant is comfortably located on the village square. Totally quiet and beautifully located. I had drinks and a snack. The best thing I've drunk in a long time. Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious. The two owners are really friendly and I was able to talk to them for a long time. I'll be back! Nice restaurant, located in the inner or old town. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was very thin (no thicker than a slice of cold cuts) and had a lot of breading. Green sauce and drinks on the other hand were good and tasty.

I've never had such a thin piece of schnitzel (meat) in my life for just under €18. Was about as thin as a slice of cooked ham. Double the amount of breading. The taste was okay.

As guests from the Rhineland, our friends took us with them to enjoy delicious Hessian cuisine. That was the best idea: very tasty food, very special cider and great hosts. Many thanks to Thomas and his team - if we visit Dreieich again, we will definitely come by!

Fantastic regional specialties with a very good price/performance ratio. All dishes ordered were excellently prepared. A large selection of drinks was offered, all of which were of above average quality. The owners are extremely friendly and service-oriented. We'd love to come back.

I read good reviews here but......had a bad day from the restaurant yesterday. Maybe we were there on the wrong day. It seemed the owner was 3 in 1: waiter, bartender and chef. We ordered still water which was served in a 0.4 glass not knowing what brand of water you are drinking, it could be from the tap. Tip: serve from bottles. I ordered a “Blue Flower” schnitzel with bacon, braised onions, fried eggs and fried potatoes. Fried egg burnt on the bottom, bacon not seen and breadcrumbs coming from the thin schnitzels. I ate more breadcrumbs than meat. And the good side was at the top the bottom was slightly burnt. My wife had green sauce with fried potatoes (which were lukewarm) and yes with 1 egg. All in all we didn't like it, we were there at 5.30 p.m. and had the restaurant to ourselves and at 7 p.m. there were still no guests there. That should say enough.

This is a small, cute restaurant with a very small menu. So I expected a very high level. I have to say that my expectations were more than exceeded! The ambience in a half-timbered house is really very appropriate. The service is very attentive, but not intrusive and extremely accommodating. To get to the food, I have to admit that I haven't had such a good schnitzel in years. These were freshly and thinly pounded and had a perfect, crispy and airy breading that you rarely find. The fried potatoes were neither greasy nor dry. The egg cooked perfectly. An absolute dream For dessert there was the “Hessian Tiramisu”, a variation of the classic Tiramisu that is in no way inferior to the original. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone!

A nice restaurant with a small beer garden and a manageable menu. The service is very nice, the operators were really lucky. The food is tasty and well seasoned. We like to come here regularly, especially in summer.

An inn as you wish. Delicious food and comfortable sitting together. And at a fair, if not cheap, price by today's standards. I really liked all of this. And that's why the blue flower gets five stars. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be happy to be a guest here again.

Ich war mit meiner Familie in "Zur blauen Blume" in Dreieich und war begeistert! Die Atmosphäre war wunderbar gemütlich, und der aufmerksame Service hat unseren Abend besonders angenehm gemacht. Die Speisekarte bot eine vielfältige Auswahl, die auch für die kleinen Familienmitglieder passend war. Die Gerichte waren nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch ansprechend präsentiert. In der blauen Blume Essen ist wie nach Hause kommen. Schnitzel oder der Handkäse, immer alles super lecker und qualitativ aus dem oberen Regal, da darf es auch mal etwas mehr kosten. Service ist aufmerksam und schnell ... tolle Lokation!

Wir waren heute wiederholt in der Blauen Blume und ich habe zum ersten Mal drinnen zu Abend gegessen; auch hier war es sehr gemütlich. Die Qualität des Essens und die kühlen Getränke waren absolut genial. Zudem kam noch der extrem freundliche Service, der unseren Abend zu unserem perfekten Erlebnis gemacht hat. Wir kommen wieder!

Besuch am Montag mit 4Personen. Apfelwein okay. Die Schnitzelportionen sehr ordendlich. Auch der Salat war okay.

Super nette Inhaber, die das Restaurant mit Liebe führen. Essen immer sehr lecker, auch die Getränke;) Innen sehr gemütlich im Fachwerkstil. Außen schöne Terrasse, vor allem im Sommer sehr beliebt. Wir kommen immer und immer gern wieder.

Wir waren heute am Sonntag zu dritt Abendessen und es war super. Das Frankfurter Schnitzel und der Handkäsapfeltatar waren mega lecker. Ebenso die hessische Tiramisu. Alle Gerichte waren zudem sehr schön angerichtet! (auf dem Bild nicht mehr zu erkennen :D). Wir waren vor einigen Monaten das erste Mal zufällig hier. Beim letzten Mal mit dem Hund ( einem Beagle). Da war es ebenfalls super angenehm und sehr hundefreundlich. Wir kommen jetzt auf jeden Fall öfters! Ein echter Geheimtipp. Weiter so!

Man sitzt draußen schön und das Essen ist gut. Es gibt leckeres Faust Bier, man wird freundlich bedient. Die Innenausstattung würde ich mir etwas rustikaler wünschen - finde es wirkt nach der Renovierung ein wenig steril, aber das ist natürlich Geschmacksache. Hauptkritikpunkt sind die Preise, z.B. 15-16€ für simple Grüne Sauce mit Ei oder für Bratwürste halte ich (trotz guter Qualität) einfach für deutlich überzogen!

Na, am So., 08.05.2022 war wohl nicht der Tag der "Blauen Blume": Wir kannten das Restaurant bisher nicht und waren am Abend da. Die Handkäs-Variation (Dreierlei) als Vorspeise bestellt könnte man durchgehen lassen, obwohl der gebackene Handkäs fast kalt war und damit der Käse wieder fest. Die zwei anderen Teile waren gut. Hauptspeisen: 1. Matjestöpfchen - darin fand sich bis auf ein paar wenige, sehr kleine Stückchen leider gar kein Matjes! War er ggfs. schon (fast) ausverkauft?! 2. Schnitzel "Blaue Blume" - das untere ;) der beiden Schnitzel war einseitig beinahe schwarz. Beide Fleischstücke waren trocken. Das Spiegelei auf der Unterseite beinahe ebenso dunkel. Der Bacon maximal cross, dafür der Speck an den Bratkartoffeln fast roh. Auch diese waren teilweise sehr, sehr dunkel. Die Zwiebeln machten das Gericht nicht besser. Der extra bestellte "kleine Beilagensalat" wirkte lieblos und ein wenig wie mit der Suppenkelle aufgetischt. Die von den Tischnachbarn netterweise erhaltene "Grüne Soße" schmeckte übrigens frisch, aber sehr sauer (zu viel Zitrone?), und es waren gefühlt überhaupt keine spürbaren Ei-Stückchen darin enthalten. Lag es eventuell daran, dass die Soße komplett klitzeklein-püriert war? Falls ja, warum denn bitte sowas?! Als wir gefragt wurden, ob alles OK sei, äußerten wir oben Geschildertes. Daraufhin der Kellner: "Ja, heute ist gar kein guter Tag. Und die Gäste kamen leider alle gleichzeitig." Keinerlei Entschuldigung, kein Versuch, uns etwas Gutes tun zu wollen. Wir hatten übrigens für 18:00 Uhr reserviert und waren pünktlich da. Trotz des tollen Wetters schien das Restaurant nicht voll besetzt zu sein. Nun Herr Laux, das war heute nix, außer einem "blauen Wunder" für uns! Hoffen wir, dass es ein bedauerlicher Einzelfall war. Werden ggfs. berichten ...

Zufällig auf einer Fahrradtour vorbei gefahren und ein kleines Schmankerl entdeckt. Selbst gekelterter Apfelwein, gemütliches Ambiente sehr nette Bedienung und leckere, frisch zubereitete Speisen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr zu empfehlen, Klasse Äpfelwein,sehr gute Küche und im speziellen sollte man die Handkäse Varianten probieren,sind ein absolutes Gedicht und in dieser Form noch nie zuvor gesehen. Schönes rustikales Ambiente und nette Bedienung.Absolut nix zu meckern und viel zu loben.

Sehr schön renovierte "Location" mit gehobener hessischer Küche und sehr freundlichem Service. Als Highlight seit dem Martinstag: Best Gans in Town, meisterhaft zubereitet von Andrea (dem Koch mit italienischen Wurzeln)! Diese Köstlichkeit sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen, also nix wie hin!
