A very friendly and warmly run family business with a cozy, village-like atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The menu is creatively curated – just right: not too large, not too small, and there's something for every taste. Both the quality and preparation of the dishes are consistently of a high standard. You can taste the love that goes into the cooking here. A place you'll always want to return to. An absolute recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food in a family atmosphere!

We visited this inn a few days ago. What more can I say? From the ambiance, to the service, the host, and of course, the quality and taste of the food... I could give it ten points, and I would! The price is unbeatable for the absolutely harmonious overall package. We will definitely return here more often to enjoy our meal.

Weekly and monthly menus change. We come here often, and this time I tried Alex's recommendation, including Asian zander 😍! A taste experience at its finest. Of course, the dishes on the main menu are also delicious. My husband always has the creamy schnitzel, and my son has the salmon burger. And not to forget the always friendly and attentive service.

Absolutely. So delicious, fresh and worth the price. The schnitzel was almost as big as the plate. The side dishes were freshly prepared and varied. I had to share my dish because I couldn't finish it all. I would eat there again any time. I recommend it to anyone who asks where they can eat really well and receive friendly service, where they take the time to let you know "is everything good at your table." I can hardly wait to go back. I've just been there again, again with the family and we had a divine meal. This time I took photos of all the dishes. I was there with my family. Everyone was satisfied and we want to eat there again soon.

First of all, even though it was Dead Sunday, we were able to reserve a table for two by phone! As usual at this time of year, there was, among other things, goose breast with chestnut sauce, homemade breadcrumbs, dumplings with red cabbage. To make a long story short: the goose breast was totally tender and yet crispy, as well as the homemade dumplings that were covered in breaded breadcrumbs, and the red cabbage that was reminiscent of Christmas - everything was very, very good! That was definitely worth the price of EUR 34 for me. Thanks to the chef, who just did it very well. My partner's cream schnitzel also looked very good. All in all a 10 out of 10

We have already tried two inns that were rated as the best 50 country inns by HR. But I would like to know under what conditions this was assessed. Eg. We came here specifically to visit friends. I actually just wanted to eat shrimp as a starter and then a Niddertal burger. The food is coming. My starter was apparently not heard by the young waitress. The burger arrived. I'm not a burger fan. But if I were a fan, I wouldn't necessarily have to eat this one. A 2x disappointing. So I ask who judges something like that or do most people have no taste anymore. That's why no photos. The others' food was good, but just like in any home-style restaurant. Anywhere in the country. There is no need for an award for this.

Actually, it's a rather inconspicuous and inconspicuous pub at the beginning, but appearances are deceptive, because the food there is extremely delicious and the portions are unconventionally and creatively prepared to the general delight of the palate. For example, there is bruschetta with farmer's bread, black pudding and fried onions. A dream as is the friendly service in the inn. People like to come back here for a culinary feast of fun. The only, in my opinion, tiny drawback, and I'll end with that, is the somewhat outdated pub ambience. This seems a bit less loving compared to other restaurants. My conclusion is that it's worth going out to the "Zum Niddertal" restaurant and enjoying some food and drink there.

We went here for lunch on a Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant was well attended. We were able to place our drink order after 15 minutes. Came quite promptly. The menu is well listed but personally I'm missing a bit more vegetarian food. There's only a bowl and cheese dumplings. A large salad plate or a pasta dish would also be nice. The service was sometimes a bit rough in tone, which wasn't so pleasant. If you want to eat a meat-heavy meal you can go there.
