Restaurant "Zum Hecker" in Diez

We ate here twice in the evening. The first evening, we had the schnitzel buffet. Everything was very deliciously prepared, the coleslaw was delicious, and the schnitzel selection was plentiful. They are flexible in accommodating special requests. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and dedicated to the well-being of their guests. We felt very comfortable and would highly recommend a visit.

Great dinner as part of half board from the adjacent Hotel Willhelm von Nassau. What the chefs have prepared was great. Staff at the highest level, very nice, attentive and friendly.

It's comfortable to sit in, the service is friendly, the food is inexpensive and has always been delicious. We'll be happy to come back. If you do your research beforehand, you'll know that it's a menu restaurant. That's why I can't understand the criticism below. That's the concept of the restaurant.

Incredibly rude service. Compulsory menu with packet soup and low-fat yoghurt cup.

Very nice beer garden, the food was delicious and fairly priced. They even had really good vegan meat alternatives!

The asparagus crepe wasn't my thing. Wine recommendation was okay. Service was nice and polite and super quick. Also had to do with a trainee. You sit comfortably...

Restaurant zit bij het hotel Wilhelm von Nassau. Gezellige inrichting en bijzonder vriendelijke bediening. Een kaart met voor ieder wat wils, meerdere avonden hier gegeten. Conclusie goed bereidde maaltijden, goed bereid en erg smaakvol. Beslist een aanrader als je hier in de buurt bent.

Wieder sind wir auf die Schnauze gefallen,die Bedienung naja sie kann es eben nicht,okay ,aber wenn ich einen Krustenbraten aus dem Ofen bestelle dann erwarte ich eine Braten mit Kruste,aber scheinbar kanns der Koch auch nicht. Eins ist uns klar geworden ,wo wir nicht mehr hingehen!

Als Gäste des Hauses haben wir zweimal hier gegessen. Zusätzlich zur normalen Karte gab es noch die Oktoberfestkarte mit zünftigem Bier. Doch auch die Weinkarte bietet genug Auswahl. Die Bedienung war zügig und sehr freundlich.

Da wir in Hotel übernachtet haben, haben wir im Hotelrestaurant "Zum Hecker" zwei Mal zu Abend gegessen. Bei schönem Wetter ist die Terrasse zu empfehlen. Die Karte ist nicht sehr umfangreich, doch jeder kann etwas finden. Schön ist auch das kleine Salat-Buffet zum selber aussuchen. Der Service war sehr nett !!

Ich hatte das Schnitzel "Wiener Art", die Portion hat mir gereicht, sehr gute Esser dürften noch Hunger haben. Die Champignonsauce gab es im Extra-Schüsselchen, sie hat mich nicht ganz überzeugt. Die Atmosphäre ist allerdings sehr angenehm, der Service tadellos.
