Restaurant Zum Gaskarl in Quierschied

It's a lovely place to sit outside by the lake, and the food is simple but mostly good (I wouldn't recommend tarte flambée, but I would recommend Schwenkbraten).

Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff! We felt very comfortable (we were the last guests 🫣)

Got a burnt and inedible chicken dish. It's a real shame; I loved eating there.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good impression of this establishment. We were there before the town hall was stormed in Quierschied, and we, as a same-sex royal couple, entered the saloon. The first comment from an employee (at least she went to work behind the bar at some point) was a discriminatory comment. Once and never again, and this has already been communicated within the club. As a carnival club, we'd rather look for a bar with more open-minded staff in the future. Especially during Faasend. Sad that this was reported because it was the truth.

Super friendly staff, the food was really delicious. They have a really good pizza from the wood-fired oven, and you don't have to wait long! :-)
