Restaurant Zum Anglerheim in Bodenheim

We were out cycling today and wanted to stop here at 3:00 PM... Unfortunately, it's closed from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (break). Unbelievable... Sunday, seven suns in the sky—what's that all about? And I keep hearing whining about how the German restaurant industry is doing so poorly. By the way, a few more cyclists left with us, shaking their heads...

Home-style food of good quality in a special location, friendly service, reasonable prices. My tip: Weiherplatte—a clear recommendation!

You sit right by the lake. Service is quick. Food is good.

Nice Croatian restaurant by a fishing pond. You can sit outside with a lovely view of the pond. Dogs are welcome, and there are even bowls of water for your four-legged friends. The service is very friendly, pleasant, and quick. I really enjoyed the food, and the prices are very reasonable.

Very nice location! We ordered still mineral water: none. Medium mineral water: none either – and that in the middle of summer at almost 30°C in the shade! The waitress commented: "We're only human." I ordered pasta with mushrooms, leeks, basil, and olive oil. Served was a plate full of pasta with olive oil, in which you had to laboriously search for the maximum of three finely chopped mushrooms; a tiny sprig of basil on the edge, the leek merely symbolic. A complete mockery. Hence only two stars. The only positive was that they offered to pack the leftover pasta. -:)

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere right next to the Nackenheim fishing pond. 😊 Sitting outside by the water in the summer is super relaxing, with delicious Croatian cuisine and great service! 🙏🏼

The seating is wonderful in a natural setting. The food is excellent, home-style cooking at reasonable prices and always tastes good.

Since this topic is neglected in reviews but many are interested: dogs are welcome! In addition, we really enjoyed the very friendly service and the delicious Croatian cuisine. In the outdoor area (partly covered) we really liked the location by the small pond.

Delicious and very inexpensive. The furnishings inside are a bit sparse, but outside by the lake it is very pleasant.

I was there for the first time today and I have to say, I would love to come back! The food was very tasty, everything was fresh, no canned food!!! The ambience is stylish, the service was very nice and courteous. The toilets were very clean. I can highly recommend this restaurant!!!

We visited the restaurant "Zum Angelweiher" for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the great food and friendly service. We would like to come again.

We always enjoy coming here. ;-) Super delicious food, good selection of drinks and you can sit nicely both outside and inside.

We made a reservation, but we would have gotten a table without it even though it was busy. The weather was still good for eating outside. Service was there for us very quickly, drinks came quickly, menus were clear, there was something for everyone, even if we were slightly hungry. We also enjoyed the food, although the portions were not overloaded I would highly recommend this beautiful place and will come back. Good value for money 👍

Immer wieder gut, Reservierung empfehlenswert

Toller Ort zum Ausspannen bei gutem Essen. Unbedingt vorher reservieren, da guter Zulauf...

Essen ist sehr gut. Preis und Leistung sind sehr gut. Freundliche Bedienung. Bei schönen Wetter draußen sitzen und auf dem See zu schauen macht Spaß.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier essen . Das Ambiente ist gemütlich direkt am See. Die Bedienung war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die Speisekarte war gut von der Auswahl her. Gute Bürgerliche Küche . Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt und war frisch zubereitet. Wir werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen. Wir empfinden es definitiv weiter .

Wunderschön am kleinen See gelegen, kann man bei leckerem Essen die Sonne untergehen sehen.
