Restaurant Wildpark am Mellensee in Am Mellensee

Was here on Sunday, the first time. There is a bit of an unpleasant smell in the anteroom. We were placed in the annex. It was well attended. There were cobwebs in the corners of the walls. We had to wait about 1 hour for the food. Fried potatoes were cold. I complained about the food and got a new one. Everything was fine and also plentiful. My impression of the price/performance ratio is not quite right. Is my opinion.

Super delicious!! The fish smokehouse is open from Thursday to Sunday for lunch until 2 p.m. Please always register in advance by phone.

Mit unserer Cachertruppe von 8 Personen waren wir hier insgesamt 2 mal essen. Wir sind uns einig. Ein sehr netter, aufmerksamer Service mit top zubereiteten Essen. Alle 16 Essen inkl. Vorspeisen war mehr als Klasse. Wir haben sogar den Koch antanzen lassen, um ihn unsere Begeisterung kundzutun. Dieses Restaurant werden wir in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten. Wir wünschen Ihnen weiterhin gutes Gelingen und vielleicht sieht man sich mal wieder . P.S. Eine wirklich wundervolle Lage , die Sie hier haben.

With our caching group of 8 people we ate here a total of 2 times. We agree. A very nice, attentive service with perfectly prepared food. All 16 meals including starters were more than great. We even had the chef dance up to us to let him know our enthusiasm. We will have very fond memories of this restaurant. We wish you continued success and maybe we'll see each other again. P.S. A truly wonderful location you have here.

The restaurant is always a real summer highlight for my family and me! The food is excellent, the service is friendly and the ambience is unbeatable! Especially in summer, it's so great to be able to sit right by the water in a quiet atmosphere. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated, which you can immediately feel. It's definitely also a great place to go for events/weddings/birthday parties as they have set up a nice large hall with a separate bar.

The food was tasty and there could also have been a salad. Chicken breast with fried potatoes without salad. The food is a little lost there. When it comes to drinks, a shandy should taste like a shandy and not just like a soda. The staff is friendly and helps with questions. But greater attention prevents errors, for example placing incorrect orders. All in all, a successful visit. You can easily recommend the restaurant. Taste is always the taste of the guest. We drove to this restaurant spontaneously and asked if we could get a table. The friendly lady at the reception showed us a table right by the water. After waiting a while, we were finally able to order the drinks. This arrived at our table more or less quickly, and the white wine that we would have liked to enjoy with the fish was immediately poured into the glass even though we hadn't placed the "food order" yet! We then realized that we would like to have the white wine with the meal and keep it cold. The same waiter who brought the drink kindly wanted to take our food order, but when we wanted fries instead of potatoes for the first dish, the waiter ran away and said "a moment" and a short time later another waiter came and shared told us that the "GAS line" was defective and there was no food from the stove. (Note: This can happen, but the lady at reception could have told us this straight away and we would have left again) Now we continued and we ordered so that we had dishes with “oven alternatives”. When it came to fries, we always said they wouldn't work either, so we switched to baked potatoes. Unfortunately it wasn't just us, but also some other guests, then when the food came there were suddenly fries on the plate instead of baked potatoes, but unfortunately my fries were soaked in fat, "mushy" and not completely fried, so I didn't eat any of them . For us, the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here, The waiters' "German" also leaves something to be desired. We'll avoid it here...

In summer there is a large garden directly on Lake Mellensee. Also recommended in colder times. Large winter garden and spacious interior. Several interior rooms up to the event hall. Everything seems relatively newly renovated. Modern sanitary facilities. Unfortunately there are not enough parking spaces when the weather is nice or on weekends.

Ordered fried herring with fried potatoes, I think fried potatoes are out 🤔, changed to zander special, (rosemary potatoes) you can also fry them in the pan. No matter... I expect for 26.80 € something....failure, eating bland, dried half potatoes in dill sauce, not recommended. But the pike perch fillet... after the 10th bone I stopped counting, we're talking about fillet,?; I eat the same thing the Baltic Sea Dierhagen without bones and perfect dill sauce. Conclusion..thanks not again Kind regards

Wonderful location on the banks of Lake Mellensee. The operators are very attentive and combine local cuisine and local fish with Mediterranean influences. You feel welcome. The food is inexpensive in the truest sense of the word. Not cheap but worth the price.

Unfortunately overall disappointing! My wife and I ordered two different zander dishes, a portion of garlic bread, a beer 0.4 and an Aperol Sprizz for around €70. The drinks were good and the ambience right on Lake Mellensee was excellent. Unfortunately, the food as a whole disappointed us: I had almost cold potatoes, a lot of light sauce (which was too flat for my taste) with fresh dill and two sufficiently large pike-perch fillets each, which from our point of view were only lukewarm. We also found quite a few bones in the fish. My wife's Mediterranean vegetable included cauliflower and broccoli instead of the expected tomatoes. The waiter and waitress were nice, but seemed rather overwhelmed when I complained. At least the waiter wanted to pass on my criticism to the kitchen - but we didn't get a reaction from the kitchen staff. All in all three stars with a downward trend, what a shame!

There was a lot to do today on a sunny Sunday. The reception was very friendly and the short-term reservation worked perfectly. Dishes for small appetites are good and sufficient. Well done chicken breast with fried potatoes, unfortunately it didn't arrive at the table completely warm. The other dish, lamb shank with rice noodles and gratinated with cheese, had also arrived at the table. One can argue about the serving. At first glance, the lamb shank was not visible (photo) and tasted good. For our taste, a whole cinnamon stick was a bit much. The staff are very polite. The location is great, right on the lake and protected from the direct sun by large umbrellas.

There was a lack of professional expertise when it came to the most expensive dish. A pity. Ambience without a doubt, wonderful, modern and clean. Anyone looking for outstanding cuisine should temper their expectations.

Beautiful ambience, both outside and inside. The service was nice and courteous, the seats right on the water were a dream. Unfortunately the food was not satisfactory. The starters were manageable even without any culinary skills and were therefore okay. Unfortunately, the gourmet plate was a failure, the meat was completely fried, the rosemary potatoes only consisted of a whole fried boiled potato with a touch of rosemary, the garlic dip was great. Unfortunately, the sea bream with spinach was slightly oversalted. Less filling side dish and half an extra fish fillet would also be advisable given the prices. In addition, the dishes are pretty carelessly prepared. Nevertheless, there is a thumbs up for the ambience and service, we will definitely come back for coffee.

Very tasty food there. Super nice and fast service. The amount of guests speaks for itself - it was packed there. The only thing that isn't so great is that there are only a limited number of parking spaces, which is quite critical, especially on weekends.

The location is unique, right on the lake. Service very friendly and attentive. Food was disappointing. Had fish platter and trout. Portions of fish were rather small. The fish platter for €29.50 was a bit disappointing, as was the trout. Fish was hot in contrast to the side dishes, which were at most lukewarm. A bit carelessly and unimaginatively done. On the fish platter, zander and cod were as flat as flounder and therefore not enjoyable. Salmon was pale in color. Fried on the skin but skin was limp and not edible. Lots of bones in the fillet piece. I would no longer go to the restaurant to eat, for coffee and cake or just to sit there by the lake with a drink - always happy.

Das Essen war einfach lecker - jede Speise war liebevoll zubereitet Fisch oder Fleisch und perfekt abgeschmeckt. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich, was die warme und einladende Atmosphäre nur noch verstärkte. Der Ausblick auf den See war schlichtweg atemberaubend. Während wir unser Essen genossen, konnten wir die wunderschöne Landschaft bewundern, was das ganze Erlebnis noch unvergesslicher machte. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Gastgeber, die mit ihrer herzlichen und familiären Art dafür gesorgt haben, dass wir uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlten. Ein weiteres Highlight sind die charmanten Bungalows, in denen wir als vierköpfige Familie einen erholsamen Aufenthalt verbracht haben. Diese Unterkünfte sind gemütlich, gut ausgestattet und bieten den perfekten Rückzugsort nach einem Tag voller Genuss und Entspannung am See. Die Möglichkeit, direkt vor Ort zu übernachten, macht das Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant komplett. Dieses Restaurant ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp und ich kann es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wer gutes Essen, hervorragenden Service, einen herrlichen Blick auf den See und gemütliche Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten sucht, wird hier definitiv fündig. Ein Ort, den man unbedingt besucht haben sollte!

I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful restaurant overlooking the lake and it was a great experience from start to finish. The food was simply excellent - every dish was lovingly prepared and perfectly seasoned. The staff were attentive and friendly, which only added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The view of the lake was simply breathtaking. While we enjoyed our meal, we were able to admire the beautiful scenery, which made the whole experience even more memorable. I would particularly like to highlight the hosts, whose warm and familiar manner made us immediately feel at home. The charming bungalows in which we spent a relaxing stay as a family of four. These accommodations are cozy, well-equipped and offer the perfect retreat after a day of enjoyment and relaxation at the lake. The possibility of staying overnight on site completes the experience in this restaurant. This restaurant is an absolute insider tip and I can only warmly recommend it to everyone. Anyone looking for good food, excellent service, a wonderful view of the lake and comfortable accommodation will definitely find what they are looking for here. A place you should definitely visit!

We Reserved for Dinner 6 Persons and where pretty amazed by the view. The Dinks where fast and Amazing. But the Food pretty poor. 2 Ppl ordered backed Cambert with bread. these 2 got together 3 slices of bread together delivered, after asking for more 5 aditional one where delivered but it took so long that the dinner was already done 15 mins ~. The fish was ordered by 3 ppl. One fish was not realy fresh anymore, an other one had a ton of fishbones in 2 of 3 filet's totaly unacceptable, the other fish was good. Asking for a check took 2 requests and a waiting time of 25 mins. keep in mind the restaurand was only filled up to 1/3. Online was an Asperagus Card annonched but at requesting these they told os oh no since 2 days the Asperagus season is over - mid May ye i guess not. Wir haben für 6 reserviert und waren von der Aussicht begeistert. Die hausgemachte limonade war super kam auch so schnell das wir nichtmal die Karte durcharbeiten konnten. Beim Essen wars leider nicht mehr so gut, 2 haben gebackenen Cambert mit Brot bestellt für die beiden wurden dann ganze 3 Bagett Stückchen geliefert (zusammen) Beim Kellner haben wir dann nach mehr Brot gefragt was auch ohne Aufpreis geleifert wurde, das hat aber so ca. 15 minuten gedauert womit das Essen dann schon beendet war. 3 personen haben Fisch bestellt, bei einer War der Fisch nicht mehr ganz Frisch , bei der Fischplatte bestehend aus 3 Filet stücken waren 2 so stark mit gräten durchsetzt, dass die Filet's komplett zerlegt werden mussten locker über 30 Gräten bei den beiden Filetstücken. Filet Nr 3 war Grätenfrei. Fisch besteller 3 hatte keine beschwerden. Das Bezahlen hat sich auch in die Länge gezogen, es musste 2x nach der rechnung gefragt werden und 5x Gesagt werden das man Bar bezahlen möchte, bis die Rechnung kam hat es dann ca 25 minuten gedauert. Hat uns leider nicht überzeugt da werden wir nicht mehr hin fahren.

The schnitzel with asparagus, hollandaise and potatoes was absolutely perfect. Potatoes are exactly the same as the schnitzel. The service was also really very good. Absolute recommendation!

Since yesterday was Women's Day, every female guest was given a red rose. That was a very nice gesture. The food was rich and good. The staff was courteous and tried to serve the guests quickly. Even though it was full, there was no sense of hecticness from the staff. We found that very pleasant. Keep it up.

Today we were in the restaurant with 7 people and had a place in the winter garden. The location by the lake is really beautiful and the fairy lights create a wonderful atmosphere. An all-round successful visit for food. We had garlic bread as a starter, cabbage wraps and fish for the main course. Both dishes were very tasty and definitely a very good choice. The shandy was also good, from the Felsenschlösschen? Service was also very friendly. Happy to come back on your next visit! There are also plenty of parking spaces nearby. I can well imagine the charm of sitting outside in summer.😆

Es ist ein tolles Restaurant mit einer sehr schönen Aussicht auf den Mellensee. Alle speisen für Erwachsene und Kinder waren sehr schmackhaft. Der Service war super und sehr freundlich.
