Wir waren 2x da. Das Essen war super. Der Service sehr freundlich . Wir können das Restaurant nur bestens empfehlen.

Tolle Karte. Super Essen und Weine. Endlich mal Saumagen probiert (zusammen mit einem Blanc de Noir).

Sehr nette Bedienung, Essen war schnell fertig. Gute Auswahl bei den Gerichten. Leider dann nur mittelmäßiges Essen, mit Fertigsaucen. (Wir hatten 4x Schnitzel, 1x Bratwurst; Pommes, Bratkartoffeln, Salat)

Essen ist lecker und die Portion war ausreichend groß. Service war ausgezeichnet und nett, sonder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Außenbereich ist schön und ruhig. Auswahl der Karte ist groß, mit saisonalen Gerichten.

Salat war nicht frisch. Lieblos angemacht. Könnte schon vom Tag davor gewesen sein!

Es tut mir im Herzen leid, denn die Mitarbeiter dort sind alle so herzlich nett. Leider war das Essen schlecht. Das Lokal selbst ist sehr alt und demnach sind die Polster der Stühle und Bänke schmuddelig. Kleidung muss man waschen, wenn man dort gesessen hat, einfach von dem Geruch, der sich von den Polstern überträgt.

Aus Baden-Württemberg besuchten wir heute Bad Dürkheim und wollten auch kulinarisch die schöne Pfalz entdecken - das Essen war sehr lecker und authentisch! Super gastfreundliches Personal und schönes Ambiente. Wir empfehlen es wärmstens weiter!

Leckeres Essen, habe Kohlroulade mit Brauner Speck Soße und Püree gegessen, wie bei Mutter früher. Bedienung sehr nett und aufmerksam. Ambiente ist Geschmacksache, wichtig dass das Essen gut war. Biergarten ist auch vorhanden

Das Restaurant "Am Falltor" ist ein rustikales Restaurant. Viel Holz, rustikale Einrichtung. Wen das nicht stört und Lust auf gute pfälzische Küche hat, ist dort genau richtig! Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen sehr lecker und der Rieslingschorle, wie sich das gehört - 1a Qualität und gut gemischt! Nur zu empfehlen! Bis bald 👍

Es ist eine Zeitreise in die 80er. Eiche-Rustikal Einrichtung wie früher, sauber und gepflegt durch die Jahre gekommen. Auf Tischdecken wird verzichtet, was es etwas in die Gegenwart holt. Vor 10 Jahren hätte ich dieses Ambiente nicht gerne gesehen, aber inzwischen hat es etwas von Tradition und vor allem Nachhaltigkeit. Ist aber natürlich Geschmackssache. Die Bestellung wurde von einer sehr freundlichen Dame aufgenommen, die offensichtlich Spaß an der Arbeit hat. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet, das Steak war sehr empfehlenswert, die Schnitzel kommen im Doppelpack (Wenigesser können eine Portion gut teilen), Kartoffeln kommen in separaten Schalen. Freischwimmen in Sauce wird hier unbedingt vermieden. Der Beilagensalat war mehr als erwartet und mit einem guten selbstgemachten Dressing. Das Lokal war an einem Montagabend gut besucht, was sich aufgrund der abwechslungsreichen Karte ( es gibt auch polnische Gerichte) und der Qualität erklärt. Obwohl die Bedienung alleine war, bekamen alle ihr Essen zeitnah und ohne Hektik. Die Akustik war angenehm trotz einer größeren Gruppe und mehrerer Paare - evtl. Dank der beachtlichen Holzdecke. Parken kann man bequem auf der Straße. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und danken für die freundliche Bewirtung.

Gute Speisekarte mit breitem Angebot. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Essen schmeckt gut.

On November 27th, my colleagues and I celebrated the pre-Christmas season at a restaurant and were really looking forward to the get-together and the meal. We were given a private room where we could sit together undisturbed. The ambiance was generally fine, but the acoustics from the anteroom were very loud. The food was partly good – the chestnut soup, in particular, was delicious – and the dessert at the end was also very good. However, what bothered me and my colleagues a great deal was the service that evening. The three waitresses seemed very annoyed; their tone was rude and loud towards the guests. The way they served the drinks was an unpleasant surprise: they shouted loudly across the room, asked in an irritating tone who had ordered what, and then served the drinks and food without any care. I don't know what happened that evening, but the guests, who wanted to spend a cozy and cheerful evening together, can't be held responsible for the staff's moodiness. I found that really disappointing and it was a major setback for us.

It's been almost two months: On August 23, 2025, I had a class reunion with former schoolmates. This reunion was something special: 40 years have passed since we left school. And, of course, we wanted to celebrate this reunion at a great place. And we definitely found that in the Weinstube Am Falltor. It was a successful evening, and the restaurant played a key role in that. The restaurant has very friendly, attentive staff and a great setting. The food was excellent. I had sea bream with vegetables. The restaurant also has a great, large terrace, so you can sit outside even when the weather is nice. I can only give it five stars and definitely recommend it.

Four of us ate there today. I ordered salmon with potatoes. They served zander, which I complained about. After everyone had eaten, my salmon with pasta arrived. I complained about this again. The fish was drowned in a thin sauce. After ages, the potatoes arrived. I had already eaten the fish long ago. I politely declined the potatoes because the sauce was already cold. When the bill came, I got a 1 euro discount. Only then did they deduct the potatoes. No apology, no cappuccino, for example, or a shot as a sorry. Unfortunately, this was the last time I was there. Everything had always been great. The two poor waitresses were visibly stressed today.

We were there for the first time today. The food was absolutely delicious! Homemade dumplings and spaetzle, a fantastic selection of dishes. Excellent value for money, and the two waitresses were very friendly! We'll definitely come back on Sunday to try the Polish lunch buffet.

Yes, a real insider tip! A very pleasant entrance area with a wheelchair ramp, a very friendly welcome, a cozy Palatinate atmosphere, friendly service staff, excellent value for money, and attentive and helpful service. Highly recommended!

We went there again last night. Unfortunately, the winemaker's steak was very small this time, and the portion of fries was also a bit meager. They were also dry, hard, and not hot; there was room for improvement... It's a shame, we've been there several times, but this time I was very disappointed. Delicious Polish cuisine 🇵🇱 I recommend it.

I ordered liver dumplings. They were served with sauerkraut, meaning no sauce. I complained, as liver dumplings are usually served with brown sauce. When I paid, I was charged an extra €3.50 for the sauce, so the liver dumplings cost €18.10. This is absolutely not acceptable... disproportionately expensive.

Steaks are very good, the Palatinate dishes were much better.

Today was our first visit to this somewhat hidden restaurant, and I have to say it was absolutely worth it! Whoever is in the kitchen knows their craft! Both my liver Berliner style and the veal cordon bleu that my wife had were truly expertly prepared and delicious. The staff were also very friendly and competent.

Good home cooking, with a few Polish specialties and nice service. On Sundays there is a Polish buffet that offers something for everyone (including vegetarian) and at an absolutely fair price. We'd love to come back. Next time for rump steak day.

The asparagus cream soup was a highlight. We have never had such a good cream of asparagus soup. Price-performance completely suitable. Big portion.

We found the restaurant because of its proximity to the campsite and really loved the food. Probably the best spagel cream soup I have ever eaten. For the main course I had the Alsatian-style schnitzel, which I also found really tasty. Gladly again!

Once again we enjoyed a very tasty meal in a lovely atmosphere with very friendly and attentive service. There were potato cookies filled with asparagus and hollondaise. A wonderful dish, a real culinary delight and highly recommended.

We actually like going there to eat because it's always delicious. But now we had received vouchers and couldn't redeem them because they were only valid for 1 year. When we asked if they could still be redeemed because they had just expired for 3 weeks, we were not met. Which I found very unfortunate. I'll think about going there as often in the future.

The liver and the pork knuckle were on the table after about 25 minutes and were eaten with pleasure. It was so delicious that we couldn't leave any left! Thank you!
