I ended up here by chance. I was looking for something “along the route”. I wasn't disappointed. Relaxed and beautifully furnished atmosphere. The food is homemade and very tasty! Absolutely inexpensive (worth the price). I'd love to come back.

We often eat at Vivarepas. At the moment we are more likely to order to go. The food is always amazing, super tasty and beautifully prepared. Even when we get food to go, it is always delicious. The service is also great and the waiter is really friendly. We've often spoken to the boss, who is also very nice. An absolute recommendation if you like South American food!

First of all, the food is really delicious, that's why 3 stars. I explain the deductions below. The waiter is a bit too attentive in a somewhat awkward, brisk way, which in turn caused us to laugh and be surprised. The portions are a bit too expensive for the size. One explanation might be quality. The drastic point deductions relate primarily to the boss/cook. Her harsh nature was confirmed in further reviews and she no longer takes it personally. What started as a nice chat ended with a sudden blatant defensiveness on the part of the lady, which was topped off with an insult. The lady should be treated with caution. Extra requests are also more likely to be rejected. It's a shame, because it was very tasty. I certainly won't let myself be seen again.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung! Wir wurden sehr höflich beraten und bedient. Alles glutenfrei, so kann man unbedenklich bestellen. Wir haben empanadas,dips, Bohnensuppe und fritas bestellt mit Getränken ist der Preis mit ungefähr 50,- . Auch wenn die Portion nicht so groß aussehen machen sie gut satt für zwei große Personen. Die empanada waren auch sehr sättigend und lecker. Gerne wieder!

Small, familiar restaurant in a beautiful, quiet area with super nice hosts and very friendly service. The food was delicious and something completely different and new compared to other restaurants in Pforzheim. We would love to come back :)

I was really positively surprised by Vivarepas in Pforzheim. The restaurant offers authentic Venezuelan cuisine that is rarely found in this country. The atmosphere is warm and inviting - you immediately feel at home. I was particularly impressed by the variety of gluten-free and even vegan dishes that are not only creative but also really tasty. I tried an arepa filled with vegetables and yuca fries - both tasted great and perfectly balanced. The staff was friendly, attentive and took the time to explain everything and make recommendations. You can tell that people cook and work here with passion. The price-performance ratio is also right: the prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered. Conclusion: If you want something new and are open to exotic tastes, you should definitely pay a visit to Vivarepas. It is a real insider tip in Pforzheim - not just for fans of South American cuisine, but for everyone who appreciates good, honest food.

Very very tasty and fresh! The service was outstanding and we received excellent advice! Gladly again.

We chose this restaurant because the food looked good on the photos. We showed up at 4:45pm (the restaurant said it opened at 4pm on the website and on google at the time). When we tried to go inside, the door was still locked. I refreshed google and the time the restaurant opened changed to 5pm. Ok, no big deal because it was almost 5. We waited, and 5pm came to no avail. We waited 10ish minutes and as we began to leave, a server unlocked the door. We walked in and were seated. The server went to the back and we could hear loud arguing. He came back out and told us we cannot be seated and to come back at 6pm. Very unprofessional and inaccurate website hours.

We were very pleased with the essence. Which is really lecker. But the cook has unfortunately placed a false order and since I didn't want to do it, he thought we should go. And so I should consider that. Found I really confused. And the Chef never greeted us and was very unfriendly..... A terrible experience. The boss, rude as I have rarely seen her. The waiter, equally unprofessional. You bring me something I didn’t ask for and on top of that you pretend I eat it “because yes”? If I ask for something specific, I expect them to bring it to me, not impose another dish and then on top of that they want to charge me for it. Not only did I not eat it, but I had to endure a superb attitude and zero respect. The karma exists, and I hope to visit you soon. I will never go back. Disrespectful and rude.

Last night my friends and I ate at Vivarepas and it was amazing. The food was so delicious that we would have liked to order everything again. The staff was very friendly and made sure we felt really comfortable. We'll be back.

We were here in a larger group with a reservation. We were welcomed very friendly and courteously. The restaurant offers a great ambience. The food was really a very tasty and extraordinary experience. Really well decorated and delicious dishes. The waiter's recommendations were always great. Unfortunately, our food arrived with a delay. Here the situation was explained, an apology was made and everything was okay. We were all super satisfied and would love to come back again. You can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience; the price-performance ratio is right here.

The food was very tasty and tasteful. There is a star deduction for the rather high prices for average material use. The drinks aren't exactly cheap either. The atmosphere is nice, rather simple. Service was friendly, unfortunately due to the lack of many guests they wanted to do it earlier. When we wanted to order drinks we were told and we received the bill. Unfortunately it was a bit uncomfortable. But as I said, everything was very tasty.

I highly recommend this small, cozy Venezuelan/South American restaurant! As soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home - the atmosphere is inviting, warm and authentic. The service is outstanding: the waiter was always extremely friendly, professional and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell that people put their heart and soul into the work here. The menu is deliberately manageable, which I really appreciate because every dish I've tried so far has been a delight. The ingredients taste fresh, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the dishes are prepared with great attention to detail. I've been here for the fourth time now and have been thrilled every time. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants and I'm looking forward to my next visit. An absolute recommendation for lovers of South American cuisine!

We had a very nice waiter and we felt really well advised. The food is absolute madness. We had arepas with yuca fries. Both are absolutely recommended! You can taste the high quality of the products and the plantain rounded off the hearty dish. Anytime again and everything is gluten-free.

The courts send you on a trip to Venezuela. Everything is perfectly flavored and fresh. The portions and quality match the prices. We will come here often!

Great restaurant, there were 5 people, we only went there because my mother can only eat gluten-free, the taste was very good, the arrangement on the plate was also very nice. Drinks were a bit overpriced, unfortunately we forgot something twice, a dip and the avocados were missing from the meal, which came when we spoke to them afterwards. Service was very friendly, the waiter was very accommodating and friendly. What I deduct as a point is that we were asked after 1.5 hours n when we want to leave, even though our drinks were still half full, that doesn't work out so well, especially since it was our first time there. My partner and I spontaneously went to this restaurant for dinner the day before yesterday. After seeing on the menu that everything in this restaurant is gluten-free, we were thrilled for the first time that evening (neither of us can eat gluten). The service was very accommodating, polite and totally attentive. The food was really really good and we will now consider this restaurant as one of our regular restaurants. We can 100% recommend this restaurant, especially for those with celiac disease.

Reservation made online the day before, no response was received. We didn't get a table on site on Wednesdays. This restaurant needs to get their reservation process under control.

Das Essen kann ich nicht bewerten, da es leider nicht dazu kam, dass wir in diesem Restaurant essen durften. Auf dem Weg zum Spielplatz betrat ich um 16:00 Uhr das offene Restaurant mit meinem Baby und fragte, ob es möglich wäre, später mit meinen Kindern, einem Baby und einen dreijährigen Kind (das grade im Wagen schlief) zum Essen zu kommen und ob ich reservieren solle. Der Kellner sagte daraufhin, dass heute nicht so viel los sei und dass ich einfach vorbeikommen kann und er dann sicher einen Platz hat. Er war sehr nett zu diesem Zeitpunkt. Daraufhin stürmte die Chefin, sichtlich schlecht gelaunt, aus der Küche und motzte in den Raum, dass ich mich nicht an einen reservierten Tisch zu setzen habe. Und sowieso gäbe es erst ab 17:30 Uhr warme Küche! Daraufhin entgegnete ich ihr, dass ich nicht vorhatte, mit einfach einen reservierten Tisch zu nehmen, sondern ja genau deswegen hier bin, um zu fragen, ob ich für den Abend mit meinen Kindern reservieren könne und dass ich jetzt auch noch gar nichts essen will, sondern fragen wollte, ob ich reservieren kann. Ziemlich genervt hatte sie den Kellner zusammen gestützt, mit den Worten „das geht so nicht!“ Das allein vor potentiellen Kunden, die zum ersten Mal im Restaurant sind, fand ich absolut unangemessen. Der Mann tat mir leid. Ihm war es selbst ziemlich peinlich und er entschuldigte sich, dass grad einfach viel los sei in der Küche und sie deswegen wohl gereizt ist. Ich sagte das ist ok, ich bin da entspannt, gibt solche Tage auch… ich kaufte noch eine Flasche Wasser bei ihm. Er war wirklich bemüht nett zu sein. Daraufhin sagte der Kellner zu mir, dass er mir auch gerne einen Tisch reservieren kann, damit wir auf Nummer sicher gehen dass ich einen Platz mit den Kindern zum Essen habe. Dafür war ich sehr dankbar, weil es weit und breit das einzige Restaurant war und ich wusste, dass meine Kinder nach dem Spielplatz auf jeden Fall Hunger haben werden - wir waren in Pforzheim zu Besuch und mussten daher auswärts essen. Ich sagte ihm noch, dass ich auch auf jeden Fall anrufen werde, wenn ich den Platz aus irgendwelchen Gründen doch nicht wahrnehmen kann, da ich keine Umstände machen will. Ich drehte also noch eine Runde mit meinen Kindern und kam dann mit zwei sehr hungrigen Kindern wieder im Restaurant an. Von schätzungsweise 20-25 (?) Tischen waren grade mal zwei Tische draußen belegt, Das gesamte Restaurant innen war noch leer!!! Ich kam sehr rechtzeitig. Natürlich setzte ich mich nicht einfach an einen reservierten Tisch, sondern ging hinein und fragte, welcher Tisch für uns vorgesehen ist. Daraufhin sagte mir der Kellner allen ernstes: wir haben leidet doch keinen Tisch für Sie! Es ist alles schon belegt. Ich schaute ihn mit großen Augen an und sagte: wie bitte? Es ist alles leer und ich war doch vorhin hier? Er: nein jetzt ist alles belegt, Sie können keinen Tisch haben. Sie können nur etwas mitnehmen! Also ehrlich. Sowas Unfreundliches und auch vor allem Gemeines einer Mama mit zwei kleinen Kindern gegenüber habe ich noch nie zuvor erlebt. Es war überall Platz, man wollte uns offenbar nicht da haben obwohl uns doch sogar angeblich ein Tisch reserviert wurde. Dem Kellner schien es unangenehm zu sein mir das sagen zu müssen, komisch dass er zuvor noch hilfsbereit war und nun plötzlich so auftrat. Woran das liegt? Das weiß ich nicht und will mir kein Urteil erlauben, ich kann nur sagen: Wir fühlten uns sehr respektlos behandelt und ich fand es wirklich daneben so mit Menschen umzugehen, vor allem mit Kindern, von denen man weiß, dass sie Hunger haben. Ich hatte nichts falsch gemacht und vorbildlich um eine Reservierung gebeten. Also nahm ich meine Kinder und ging, ich wollte dort einfach keinen Cent lassen und wie ein unerwünschter Gast am Straßenrand auf das Take-away warten. Glücklicherweise war in der Seitenstraße ein Straßenfest ich konnte meinen Kindern ein paar leckere Frühlingsrollen von einer sehr netten Dame kaufen. Ende gut alles gut. Schade, wir haben uns sehr auf das Essen gefreut. Die Art wie wir behandelt worden sind war aber unterirdisch.

I can't rate the food because unfortunately we weren't allowed to eat in this restaurant. On the way to the playground I entered the open restaurant with my baby at 4:00 p.m. and asked if it would be possible to come to dinner later with my children, a baby and a three-year-old child (who was currently sleeping in the car) and if so I should make a reservation. The waiter then said that it wasn't that busy today and that I could just come over and he'd be sure to have a seat. He was very nice at this point. The boss then stormed out of the kitchen, visibly in a bad mood, and complained to the room that I didn't have to sit at a reserved table. And anyway there is only warm food from 5:30 p.m.! I then replied to her that I wasn't planning on simply taking a reserved table, but that I was here precisely for that reason, to ask if I could make a reservation for the evening with my children and that I didn't want to eat anything at the moment. but wanted to ask if I could make a reservation. She was quite annoyed and supported the waiter with the words “that's not possible!” I found that absolutely inappropriate in front of potential customers who were in the restaurant for the first time. I felt sorry for the man. He was quite embarrassed himself and apologized that there was just a lot going on in the kitchen and that's why she was irritable. I said that's ok, I'm relaxed, days like that happen too... I bought another bottle of water from him. He really tried to be nice. The waiter then said to me that he would be happy to reserve a table for me so that we could make sure that I had a place to eat with the children. I was very grateful for that because it was the only restaurant for miles and I knew that my children would definitely be hungry after the playground - we were visiting Pforzheim and therefore had to eat out. I told him that I would definitely call if I couldn't make it to the place for any reason, as I didn't want to cause any trouble. So I did another lap with my children and then arrived back at the restaurant with two very hungry children. Out of an estimated 20-25 (?) tables, only two tables outside were occupied. The entire restaurant inside was still empty!!! I arrived very timely. Of course, I didn't just sit at a reserved table, but went in and asked which table was reserved for us. The waiter then told me in all seriousness: we don't have a table for you! Everything is already occupied. I looked at him with wide eyes and said: what? Everything is empty and I was here earlier? He: No, everything is full now, you can't have a table. You can only take something with you! So honestly. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly and, above all, mean towards a mother with two small children before. There was space everywhere, they obviously didn't want us there even though a table was supposedly reserved for us. The waiter seemed uncomfortable having to tell me this, strange that he had previously been helpful and now suddenly acted like that. Why is that? I don't know and I don't want to judge, I can only say: We felt treated very disrespectfully and I thought it was really wrong to treat people like that, especially children, who are known to be hungry. I had done nothing wrong and asked for a reservation in an exemplary manner. So I took my kids and left, I just didn't want to leave a dime there and wait on the side of the road like an unwanted guest for take-out. Luckily there was a street festival on the side street and I was able to buy my children some delicious spring rolls from a very nice lady. All's well that ends well. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to the food. But the way we were treated was underground.

First of all, the positive point: the food tastes good, but I was very surprised that the arepas on the homepage and even when you google them look different than what you get. On the internet it looks like these are stuffed flatbreads. Furthermore, I think the prices are quite high. For a starter 11.50€ (4 half empanadas) is hefty. The arepas are also quite expensive for the amount you get. The employees are very friendly.

We were there today for the first time, but definitely not the last time. Gluten-free cuisine, very friendly service and a stylish ambience. I can't tolerate everything (fructose intolerant) and the cook personally came to the table to conjure up a wonderful dish for me (starter and main course) that I could eat without hesitation and that tasted wonderful. The empanadas in front were super crispy on the outside and tasty on the inside. The main course, we had arepas, was very nicely presented and also delicately seasoned and prepared. The portions were generous but manageable and the price was reasonable. At regular intervals someone came to the table to ask if everything was OK. The toilets have been newly renovated and are spotlessly clean and pleasant. All in all a successful evening with a great host (we felt like welcome guests). See you again very soon.

My girlfriend and I had dinner at Vivarepas on Friday evening. The cozy furnishings made us feel welcome straight away. The food was very tasty and a welcome change from pizza, burgers and the like. Options are also offered for vegan or vegetarian people. The staff was super nice and took the time for a relaxed conversation. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a clear recommendation!

The Vivarepas is really an enrichment for the gastronomy in Pforzheim. We have been there several times and have really enjoyed both the food and the courteous service. The dishes are attractively prepared and really fresh. We were always greeted very friendly and the service was always present without being intrusive. The restaurant is also comfortably furnished. All in all, there is a clear concept and it is always a pleasure to eat there.

We've wanted to try Vivarepas for a long time and it was really tasty and something completely different - highly recommended! Specialties from Venezuela are freshly prepared there. The arepa - a corn flatbread - plays a central role. This gluten-free corn flatbread is combined with vegetarian content, meat or fish - in each case a delicious taste experience is created. As starters we had a mixed starter platter, where you get a good overview: beef, black beans, chicken, cassava fries (very tasty!!), plus various dips. The dessert is also very varied and delicious. The service was very friendly, gave us good advice and was always very concerned. The meals came a little staggered one after the other, which is probably due to the fresh preparation, and is therefore a sign of quality. Payment is possible in cash or by card; the price/performance ratio is okay for the fresh preparation. You can also pick up food there. Clear recommendation 👍🏻

It was truly an experience at Vivarepas. We were guests there for the first time and were thrilled from the start. An extremely attentive waiter accompanied us throughout the evening. As for the food, you can say that it was really very fresh and tasted excellent. As a starter we had the empanadas and as the main course the arepas, one with pulled beef and one vegetarian. The plantains are really a hit. Thank you for the great evening. It is advisable to make a reservation as it is always quite full.

The food is super tasty and of absolutely high quality, everything lovingly freshly prepared. That alone is a highlight. In addition, the waitress took a lot of time for us and gave us great advice. We were also able to talk to the boss, who is also the cook. The ingredients are selected very carefully and sourced locally wherever possible. What is very important to us: Everything is naturally gluten-free and there are also delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. A tip: Eating on site is EVEN better (because it's absolutely fresh and even crispier) than the already very good take-away food. Overall, a VERY friendly restaurant, we drove home with a smile on our face and completely satisfied.

Vivarepas offers a variety of delicious local dishes. For us there were also 3 vegan/vegetarian dishes. There is also a selection of side dishes, such as the Yuca fries, which you can enjoy with fantastic dips from sweet and sour to savory and spicy. Everything is homemade and prepared personally and with a lot of love by the owner of the house according to family recipes. We have already been to Vivarepas twice and would love to come back to be pampered with good food and South American hospitality.

Das Personal geht gekonnt auf Anfragen bezüglich glutenfreier Optionen ein und bietet umfassende Auskünfte. Preislich finde ich das Essen angemessen, wobei die Getränke etwas über dem üblichen Niveau liegen. Insgesamt ist ein Besuch in diesem Lokal empfehlenswert.

pésimo servicio, dice que se puede pedir para llevar, queremos llevar algo y no nos quieren atender. El local está completamente vacío, decimos que no nos importa venir en 1h recogerlo o esperar afuera, pero aún así, la señora no quiere atendernos. Si si llamamos y pedimos, pero no si pedimos aquí 😅

Sehr freundliches Personal, die Speisekarte bietet für jeden was und es schmeckt super lecker. Wir waren an einem Samstag zum Mittagessen dort bei wenig Kunden. Abends wird eine Reservierung empfohlen.

Ein sehr einladendes und schön eingerichtetes Etablissement mit unglaublich leckerem Essen! Wir waren zu viert hier und jeder hatte das Vergnügen mit einer anderen Speise. Wir waren alle traurig als wir satt gegessen waren, da das Essen wirklich unglaublich lecker war. SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT!

Ich hatte keine Ahnung, wie lecker venezolanisches Essen ist! Die Kombination aus Kochbananen, Bohnen und Maisfladen ist eine echte Gaumenfreude! Und Maniok mit Aji-Chili (wer es gern ein bisschen schärfer mag 😉) rundet das Ganze perfekt ab - wir kommen sicherlich wieder! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Ich hatte einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen und diesen haben wir gestern eingelöst.Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort essen.Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen , guter Wein und eine mega nette Bedienung. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert. Preis -/ Leistungsverhältnis nicht billig, aber noch ok. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise, zwei Hauptgänge und Getränke.Leider ist die Parkplatzsituation ein wenig schlecht dort, aber mit etwas Glück findet man ein Plätzchen.

Questo ristorante si trova a circa una decina di minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale di Pforzheim. Le pietanze sono tipiche della cucina venezuelana e la qualità è alta. Per il resto, però, non vi nulla di venezuelano: il personale, il locale, l'atmosfera, neppure la musica in sottofondo. Contenti a metà.

Wir sind zufällig im Internet aufs Vivarepas gestoßen und haben ein kleines, gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant vorgefunden. Das Personal, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ist uns bei der Menüwahl beratend zur Seite gestanden. Wir konnten uns vorher nicht viel unter venezolanischem Essen vorstellen und waren begeistert, wie lecker und vielseitig alles geschmeckt hat. Die Zutaten waren frisch und vielfältig. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Vivarepas gerne weiter.

Wir sind regelmäßig im Vivarepas zum Essen. Es ist einfach immer wieder sehr lecker und immer sehr herzlich. Wer glutenfreies Essen sucht oder einfach was neues ausprobieren will ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir kommen bestimmt bald gerne wieder.

Liebe Leute, wenn ihr in Pforzheim nach einer besonderen Küche sucht seit ihr hier richtig. Tolle, spannende Gerichte, ein tolles Ambiente und supernette Inhaber! (Obwohl die Küche bereits am Abräumen war, wurde uns noch super aufgetischt, danke dafür!) Ein Besuch hier lohnt sich allemal! :)

Leckeres authentisches Essen und super Mitarbeiter

Super Geschmackserlebnis der Venezuelanischen Küche. Wir waren mit sechs Personen dort. Da wir die Gerichte alle noch nicht kannten bestellten wir erst einmal eine "Versuchsplatte" für zwei Personen. Darauf ist von allem etwas. Nachdem darauf alles sehr lecker war fiel uns die Entscheidung dann auch echt schwer 😁. Die Hauptgerichte waren wieder genial. Ich hätte nie gedacht dass Glutenfrei so lecker sein kann. Auch die anfängliche Skepsis gegenüber einem alkohol- und glutenfreien Bier hat sich als unbegründet herausgestellt. Tolle Atmosphäre und freundliche Inhaber mit Leidenschaft für ihre Produkte. Wir kommen seit dem ersten Besuch immer wieder gerne vorbei

Vivarepas ist ein sehr angenehmes Restaurant mit tollen Speisen und Service. Das Bild zeigt jetzt das Dessert Arepa Nutella. Ich empfehle die Empanadas de Pollo das währe mit Hänchen mit dem Dip guacamole der währe mit Avocado. Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Habe viele Restaurants in Pforzheim besucht, aber dieses venezuelische Juwel übertrifft sie alle bei weitem! Das Essen ist authentisch, reichhaltig und einfach köstlich. Ein Muss für alle Feinschmecker. Werde definitiv wieder und wieder kommen!

Ich war früher super oft im Vivarepas und jetzt nach langer Zeit mal wieder. Ich bin super erschrocken, wie stark die Preise angehoben wurden. Früher hat ein Arepa mit Lachs 9€ gekostet, heute kostet er 14,50€. Das finde ich schon sehr heftig. Zusätzlich wurde dann auch noch die Portion verkleinert. Früher bestand ein Arepa aus zwei Maisfladen (einen unten und einen oben) mittlerweile gibt es nur noch einen Boden. Sehr schade! Was ich auch als sehr unangenehm empfinde, ist dass der Kellner oft versucht einem noch etwas mehr Essen aufzureden. Es ist nicht so gerne gesehen, nur einen Arepa ohne Beilage zu bestellen. Ich denke jeder kann die Karte lesen und bestellen was man möchte und eine Beilage ist nicht zwingend nötig. Das Essen und die Qualität sind jedoch sehr gut! 🥰 Ich würde mir wünschen, dass für den Preis, der Arepa wieder einen ,,Deckel“ bekommt. Und der Kellner weniger penetrant die Speisen anbietet.
