Restaurant Valentino in Regensburg

Very tasty food at fair prices. Service was friendly, but unfortunately wrote down one of our meals incorrectly and so we couldn't all eat together. But it's not a broken leg in and of itself. Location also good. Gladly again!

We ate pizzas and pasta with seafood. It was very tasty and the portions were sufficient. What is unusual in the restaurant is that they charge an extra 5 euros for a bowl of parmesan and a few millimeters of olive oil that we didn't use. I've never experienced that anywhere. Otherwise a nice restaurant.

I selected Valentino restaurant for my birthday dinner with my family and our experience was definitely top. I can’t put into worlds how tasty, fresh and made with love the food was, the service, the atmosphere, everything was just perfect - just exactly what I wished to experience with my family. I definitely recommend this restaurant and thanks the team for their super work!

Had dinner there today at the Valentino restaurant. Wanted to have Italian food and went there based on the reviews. When we got there we were quickly taken to a table and given a map. After that, despite not having that many guests, it took over 20 minutes until someone came to order. We took pizza and I took Al Forno Rigatoni. Not bad from the description and also framed on the map as a kind of recommendation from the house. However, what I received was the tasteless and rarely poorly made rigatoni that I had eaten. The neighboring table on the right had complained because the beer was flat and uncarbonated, to which they only said that it was probably on tap and whether they should bring a new one - which probably wouldn't have made any difference. After I had eaten, the table next to me on the left also ordered rigatoni - which she also found to be very tasteless and like simply cooked pasta from a package without anything. After she complained, she got a new portion and we got a panna cotta as compensation and my companion got a tiramisu that was also way too sweet and it still gives her a stomach ache. We had to wait another 30 minutes to pay before we were finally able to go and pay, even though there were only us and the neighboring table in this area! All in all, a very disappointing visit to this restaurant that we definitely won't be going back to. Two stars because at least a dessert was given - which also tasted like a finished product - at the house's expense.

We were at Valentino on Saturday and were able to get a seat in the upper room that the boss was able to organize for us. What we have to praise is the really nice waitress who always served us with a friendly smile, even though she also had a big one here Group had to be catered for. The food was really great, and big compliments to the kitchen.

Always my pleasure. The Valentino is the perfect mix of the Italian around the corner, good food and fair prices. Regardless of whether it's Rigatoni al Forno, the pizza, or the authentic carbonara, the food is good and the atmosphere is even better.

Yesterday we were in this restaurant again after a 15 year break and were able to spend a little vacation day. Very nice service, great food and a good price/performance ratio. The next visit will certainly not be long in coming. Keep it up!

Another wonderful evening. Even though we were there without a reservation, a table was found for us. Since it was limited in time, the team made a special effort so that we could enjoy our food. The friendliness and professionalism should also be emphasized. The Valentino is definitely a restaurant that we would highly recommend. Clean and quiet, no trace of stress. This was our third time at Valentino. The food and wine were always very tasty and the price-performance ratio was really good. What was outstanding every time was the extremely friendly and attentive service. You also get something to laugh about, great.

A very pleasant restaurant where you feel good from the first moment. A very good selection of drinks, food, quality pizza and delicious desserts. The prices are really very acceptable and the staff is nice, smiling and attentive. I also really appreciate the live flowers in the stages and also in the toilets - they were really clean, fragrant... We will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience! We brought 13 English speaking Americans to this beautiful restaurant and they handled us with grace. Food was excellent. We took our server up on some suggestions and really loved what was offered! Just be patient if you speak English because, well, YOU’RE IN GERMANY!

I found Carbonara very boring for €15.50. However, the rigatoni al forno was good.

Super Essen, nette Atmosphäre und extrem freundliche Bedienung. Die Preise sind sehr gerecht und der Service ist immer nett und hilft auch gerne. Der Chef kommt auch oft gerne an die Tische und unterhält sich gerne mit den Gästen. Die Speisekarte hat eine große Auswahl und hat für jeden was dabei - ob jung oder alt.

The employees treat the customers very casually and not seriously at all, as if they are a street person and not a waiter, and an employee cannot talk to the customer like that and be sincere. He just needs to be busy with his work. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The waiters need to change.

Today we celebrated our son's 18th birthday in a small group (7 people) in the Valentino restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and we were impressed by the customer service that this restaurant values. The food was very tasty and everyone of us loved it. The waitress was very nice and accommodating, and even special requests for food were easily fulfilled. We were particularly pleased that the chef Denis greeted us personally after the meal. He really impressed us with his attentive nature. Once again we felt very comfortable in the Valentino restaurant and we will always have fond memories of this special day. Many thanks to the entire team!

The order was ready in 15 minutes. There was extra garlic oil and chili oil in small jars. :) The scampi pizza is highly recommended

After walking hungry through the old town on Monday and a restaurant we had previously agreed to unfortunately closed, we decided on Valentino. Admittedly we were a little late and it was a Monday, but we still managed to get a reservation by phone. On site we were greeted very hospitably by the boss and he immediately knew our name, even though one of his employees had received the reservation. We thought to ourselves: OK, the communication here seems to be good. We were assigned a nice table outside and served promptly by the service. My wife - Greek - chose the Calamari Griliata, grilled squid tubes. Basically a classic Mediterranean dish, which is unfortunately often interpreted in a modern way in restaurants. We were excited... when it came to wine, we chose a Sauv from Rheinhessen. The starter - Bruschetta Caprese - was a great start, nice and crispy and gratinated with tender mozzarella. For the main course I had the Tagliatelle alla Chef with wild salmon fillet, crabs and tomato cream sauce and my wife, as I said, had the calamari with potatoes tossed in rosemary. To cut a long story short: my wife was absolutely happy and the classic dish was grilled and prepared to perfection. My noodles were on point and overall very tasty. The second highlight was that we unfortunately ran out of the Sauvignon Blanc. The service kept asking if everything was okay and he offered to swap the Sauvignon Blanc. That wasn't a discussion at all, we got a very tasty Lugana and chatted a bit about wines with the waiter. He then said that we definitely had to try the Chardonnay from Garda later. In short: We had such a lovely, informal evening with attentive staff, delicious food and excellent wines, which ended with a grappa finale. With this in mind, we would like to thank the boss and his entire team once again and of course to the kitchen, which often gets neglected. Keep it up! and we will definitely see each other again.

I've had a very tasty meal there. The location is also very good. However, unfortunately the service has recently decreased in terms of friendliness and speed... What a shame Edit: unfortunately I have to correct the rating further down. I've been there several times since then because the location is great, but the food (salad) wasn't good and the service remained inattentive. We had to wait constantly even though there wasn't much going on and every time there were flimsy reasons ("colleague forgot")

At the end of our day trip we had dinner at Valentino. The ambience was great - we were able to sit outside at a very nice table. The outside area is directly in front of the restaurant, so pedestrians walk past every now and then, but not many and not very disturbing. The food was very tasty even if it was a bit expensive! You can definitely treat yourself. The waiter and waitress were very nice and accommodating. Special dining requests will be fulfilled! Definitely worth a visit!

That was just great! That was really Italian! We were very satisfied!

Even if I repeat myself - this restaurant is a gem - it's not just the kitchen with exquisite dishes that impresses, but also the mentality and friendliness of the serving staff. It's not for nothing that on a "normal" Thursday the restaurant was already packed at 6 p.m.

Worst restaurant experience in a long time. We had reserved a table for 6 p.m. That had worked so far. But we were then ignored by the service staff. We didn't get a menu nor did anyone come to ask for drinks. After a little over 20 minutes we left again. However, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Still not this restaurant again.

We were traveling from Austria to Amberg and discovered Valentino by chance. Because we've been wanting to eat good Italian food again for a long time. You have to emphasize that everything is correct there. Very good pizza, really genuine Italian, fresh ingredients, people like me with histamine intolerance are also catered for and replacements are quickly found. The staff is very friendly! Es ist einfach traumhaft. Man wird herzlichst empfangen und bedient. Das Essen schmeckt jedes Mal hervorragend. Die Location ist einladend und man fühlt sich direkt sehr wohl. Der Außenbereich im Sommer ist super gemütlich. Ich bin mehrmals im Valentino und bereue es kein einziges Mal. Ganz klare Empfehlung !! Großes Lob an den Kellner Nedo :)

Food is generally not bad. Fish platter was good. Pizza......well. The salami used here is not bad but cruel. There is a kind of sparsalami called cherwelat or something like that. This is also how the salami used tastes. When I think about it, it was the worst pizza I've eaten in a long time. The reason is the bad salami. If I want to eat good pizza, I don't go there anymore.

I can't say anything about the food YET, but I've only heard very good things (hence 5 stars here). But what I can say is that friendliness and helpfulness are very important here. I was walking past with my dog ​​when it suddenly started raining heavily. I was immediately invited in with the offer to sit down and wait out the rain. I got something to drink without asking, as did my dog ​​(without having to pay for it). I'll definitely come back. I have rarely experienced something so nice.

Ate this evening, not understanding German they send me a waitress who understands Italian. I ask him for two plates of rigatoni and show him the price. She tells me ok When it was time to pay the bill it was double so I ask why, they reply that that price is only at midday. So even here in Germany there are smart people..... I've read reviews that say the food is good. But have you eaten in Italy again, it's something else entirely.....

Highly recommended restaurant. The dishes are very tasty. The pizzas in particular are an absolute recommendation. You can also order pizzas that are not on the menu (e.g. Pizza Funghi, just ask the staff). The staff is very friendly and you are served quickly. The price of the restaurant is also very fair. Food absolutely delicious, at affordable prices with super nice service. Friday evening and we didn't need a reservation for five people - that's rather unusual for such a good restaurant these days.

Nice Italian restaurant with excellent pizza and fantastic tiramisu. The pizza had a very tasty dough including a crispy edge and a delicious, fruity tomato sauce and a good portion of toppings without being overloaded, very tasty! In addition, you get fresh garlic and chilli oil on the table, which you can help yourself to as you wish, it has to be perfect. The tiramisu also seems to have been fresh and homemade, just as it should be and you can taste it. Price performance is also top!

I had just a single night stop in Regensburg while travelling and just searched for food in an unknown city. Fabulous food, attentive personnel, cozy atmosphere. What a jewel I discovered by accident. Thank you Valentino restaurant. You made my tiring travelling much brighter!! It was very busy, so you better make a reservation. You might not be as lucky as I was on Friday evening.
