Wir waren schon mehrfach in der unteren Apotheke und immer sehr zufrieden mit Küche znd Service. Diesmal haben wir Pablo und Max vermisst.

Waren zum Mittagstisch anwesend: es war rundherum ein Genuss!

Wir haben meinen Geburtstag hier gemeinsam mit meinem Mann beim Abendessen gefeiert und einen wirklich unvergesslichen Abend erlebt. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Atmosphäre ist stilvoll, warm und sehr einladend – man fühlt sich sofort wohl und kann den Abend ganz entspannt genießen. Der Service war hervorragend: äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr professionell, dabei aber immer angenehm diskret. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Auch kulinarisch war es ein echtes Highlight. Jedes Gericht war wunderschön angerichtet und geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt – ein echtes Erlebnis für die Sinne. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Abend und dafür, dass mein Geburtstag so besonders gemacht wurde. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

Schönes Ambiente. Leider bei geschmacklich guten Speisen insgesamt zu niedrige Essenstemperatur. Service verbesserungsbedürftig, schlechte Verständlichkeit der dargebotenen Speisen und Getränke.

Hervorragender Service, Aufmerksamkeit bereits am Empfangsbereich. Speisen aussergewöhnlich, jedoch sehr schmackhaft. Wir wurden gut umsorgt.

The two of us dined at the restaurant, which was very busy on a Monday evening. We enjoyed the food, with some slight reservations about the Iberico, which was a bit tough. The wine list was very good. The service was neither bad nor particularly good. What we didn't like was the ambiance, as the tables were extremely close together, thus eliminating any privacy. It's a shame; you could do better in this price range.

For our wedding anniversary, we reserved a table at the "Untere Apotheke" restaurant via OpenTable on the recommendation of friends. You can park conveniently in the parking garage around the corner for €3 in the evening. The ambiance in the restaurant is very pleasant and cozy. The friendly service is even more impressive; we quickly become fond of the empathetic and knowledgeable host, Pablo. The food selection varies according to the season – we had delicious Mediterranean dishes such as octopus, vitello tonnato, as well as meat and fish. Our vegetarian daughters also thoroughly enjoyed a Sardinian pasta dish and a "Trilogy of the Tuber." Finally, we thoroughly enjoyed the sophisticated desserts. In our opinion, they are Michelin-star quality. Not to be forgotten is the wine selection – exactly to our taste. The menu offers, among other things, a fine selection of Grand Crus from Germany and excellent wines from Austria. A truly lovely and successful evening. We would love to return soon.

I refer to Oliver Kern's review. We were seated at a table away on the evening in question and were able to witness the behavior of Mr. Kern's group firsthand. The service staff and the chef went above and beyond to fulfill all of Mr. Kern's and his guests' wishes. We were all the more shocked by the disrespectful behavior of Mr. Kern and his companions. This is not how you treat people. We expressed this personally that same evening – and at the same time emphasized that we were completely satisfied. The food, service, ambiance, and the warm hospitality of the hosts deserve an unconditional five stars from us.

Went here for a birthday party. We informed them in advance that we had a guest with a histamine intolerance. They even offered suggestions on what and how to serve the guest. Nothing. The "cheese salad" was a disgrace. The main course, just a bit of mashed potatoes, was a disgrace. While certain items weren't charged, the final result remains unsatisfactory. The management didn't consider it necessary to contact me afterward.

Rundum empfehlenswert vom Essen b is zum Service. Alles entspannt und angenehm.

Unser Essen in der Unteren Apotheke war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, wir saßen an einem warmen Sommerabend schön draußen und haben das sehr gute Essen genossen. Das neu interpretierte Vitello Tonnato war ein Erlebnis und die Maispoularde mit der Gurke das ideale Sommergericht. Der Service war wirklich freundlich, professionell und sympathisch. Zwei minimale Kritikpunkte (wegen derer ich nicht die volle Punktzahl gebe) sind, dass es irgendwann zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang offensichtlich Probleme in der Küche gab, weswegen es zu einer merklichen Zeitverzögerung kam. Ein Tisch neben uns wurde offensichtlich gänzlich vergessen, was natürlich nicht passieren darf. Zum anderen war für mich der Taco Iberico geschmacklich nicht auf dem hohen Niveau der anderen Speisen (die Rotwein-Chorizo empfand ich als zu säuerlich), außerdem zerfiel er schnell in der Hand. Das soll aber bitte nicht abschrecken, denn es war ein schöner Abend und das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen!

wir hatten ein sehr leckeres, leichtes Sommermenü. Sehr netter, entgegenkommender Service. Kühler , schattiger Platz. Rundum hervorragend.

I'm simply speechless. We spent our Christmas party here and were treated to a 5-course menu with wine pairing. As someone who comes from a fine dining background and has high standards, I was taken to the next level here. Each course was a true explosion of flavor that completely blew me away – in the best possible way! The wines were perfectly matched to each dish, so precise and harmonious that it felt like they were created especially for that moment. I'm more than thrilled and can only recommend the Untere Apotheke without reservation. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them without hesitation. An absolute must for anyone who appreciates exceptional cuisine! Additional comment: We're visiting again today, and what can I say? There's simply nothing to complain about. This is what you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant! Keep up the good work, kudos to the whole team.

Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend. Trotz ausgebuchtem Restaurant, wurden die 3 Gänge zügig serviert.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend im Restaurant verbracht. Die Servicemitarbeiter waren aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Küche verwöhnte exzellent mit ihrer Kochkunst. Eigentlich wäre ein Stern angemessen. Jederzeit würden wir einen Tisch reservieren, falls wir wieder einmal in Waiblingen sind.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Auswahl beim Mittagstisch ist überschaubar, dafür immer frisch und ausgewogen.

We've eaten at the Untere Apotheke in Waiblingen several times now – most recently yesterday evening. The cuisine remains truly outstanding in terms of flavor, with impeccable craftsmanship, creativity, and thoughtfulness. Without question, it's very, very tasty. What's increasingly annoying, however – and was particularly noticeable yesterday – is the surroundings, which simply no longer keep up with the current price level. Anyone who's listed on recommendation lists like the Michelin Guide and positions themselves in this gastronomic and price-related environment must also deliver the entire experience at this level, not just raise the price to it. If you consciously focus on small, minimalist dishes (which is perfectly fine), then bread, a little whipped butter, or olive oil should at least be served without being asked. Not as an "extra," but as a natural part of a high-quality menu. Otherwise, the whole thing quickly seems incomplete and lacking in love – and that's exactly what shouldn't happen in this league. The service yesterday also clearly had room for improvement: Orders were interrupted before you could even finish them, or they were completely forgotten. There was a lack of attention, a lack of calm, and a lack of the feeling of being perceived as a guest. When finger food like tacos is served, I also expect hand-washing facilities to be provided at the table – wet wipes or a warm cloth are standard in this price range. Conclusion: Very good cuisine – but the overall impression is no longer right. As standards and external image continue to rise, service, attention to detail, and guest care must necessarily keep pace. Otherwise, the experience won't live up to the price. We'll let the experience sink in and will stop by again in due course, hoping that the positive criticism was taken seriously.

This is the most delicious meal I have had in 10 years. Everything was made with Care and precision. The food was local and even the salad and the dessert and ‘amuse bouche’ and the main course were spectacular. We will absolutely come again!

Simply WOW! I want to tell you about our perfect day at the Untere Apotheke. While looking for a restaurant for dinner after the registry office, we came across this restaurant. The doors were opened just for us that day. Everything was beautifully decorated and prepared. From start to finish, everything was simply perfect. From the champagne reception to dessert, everything was there. Every course melted in our mouths, like butter. And here we were not only served an incredibly delicious meal. No, the service was first class; you can honestly say we were completely satisfied and it couldn't have been better. We would like to thank the entire team again for making our day simply perfect.

Wonderful girls' evening on a warm evening in May. We were treated to culinary delights surrounded by half-timbered buildings. Our food was impressive both visually and qualitatively - in combination with the accompanying drinks it was an absolute highlight. Wir waren das erste Mal in der unteren Apotheke. Durften im Nebenraum auf Gartenstühlen sitzen, weil es so voll war. Wir hatten ja nur zwei Wochen im Voraus reserviert. Der Service hat den ganzen Abend unachtsam unsere Speisen und Getränke serviert. Die Krönung war, dass wir eine Stunde auf den Nachtisch gewartet haben und diesen dann abbgestellt haben, damit wir nach drei Stunden (Vorspeise und Hauptspeise) das Lokal verlassen konnten. Die Stammgäste neben uns wurden den ganzen Abend permanent vom Servicepersonal hofiert. Wir mussten den Service jedes Mal herrufen. Ein einzige Katastrophe. Ach ja....Essen gab es auch noch und das war sehr gut, aber mit diesem Service ist die Untere Apotheke keine Empfehlung, sondern nur über die Presse hochgejazzt.

Das Essen war von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert ein kulinarisches Vergnügen.

A first-class culinary excursion at a very high level. Anyone who thinks that particularly good food can only be found in the state capital is completely wrong - the Lower Pharmacy is the best proof. Greeted by very attentive staff, an enjoyable evening begins in a beautiful atmosphere with a phenomenal greeting from the kitchen. From beetroot salad to cheese buttons and a successful dessert, you are well served with a good selection of wines. All in all a very very nice and enjoyable evening 10/10. This was certainly not the last visit.

Zusammen mit meiner Frau waren wir mein Geburtstag zu feiern. Wir haben einen sehr guten Tisch bekommen, wo wir uns gut unterhalten konnten. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich zu uns und hat sich die ganze Zeit sehr bemüht alle unseren Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Menu und das Essen war sehr gut und mit passender Weinempfehlung serviert. Mit fehlen die Sterne um meine Zufriedenheit zum Ausdruck zu bringen. As expected, there was a lot going on today on Valentine's Day. The food was very good. The tables are very close together, which seems a little depressing. The service is very courteous and quick. BUT... even if the place is on fire and we ask for dessert for the third time after waiting an hour... and I always hear "I've already seen something - it's already in the works"... then you can ask the boss emphatically. However, he had no understanding of that...after all, I would see that there was a lot going on and it's not like that didn't happen!! All right... boss, I got it! As friendly as the boss was at the beginning, there was nothing left of it afterwards... he punished us with ignorance. Food great, service great... but the boss doesn't deserve a star. Unfortunately, in one careless moment, one person can have a lasting impact on the overall impression. Too bad.

Nach dem Besuch der Galerie Stihl während der Woche zu dritt zum Mittagstisch. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, sehr aufmerksamer Service. Feiner Gruß aus der Küche. 2-Gang-Menu sehr lecker. Espresso wie in Napoli. Wir kommen wieder, auch um eine Weinbegleitung zu genießen.

Haben das Restaurant zufällig beim Vorbeilaufen entdeckt, der Blick auf die ausgehängte Abendkarte schien verheißungsvoll. Dann 2 Tage später einen Tisch reserviert und zu Abend gegessen. 3 Gänge aus dem Menü gewählt, Änderungen waren problemlos machbar, bei teureren Gerichten ist evtl. ein Aufpreis fällig. Es erwartet einen keine Sterneküche aber die Ansprüche des Teams sind zurecht ambitioniert. Es gab wirklich nichts zu tadeln, Saucen, Sude und Dressings waren superlecker. Da konnte man den eingedeckten Esslöffel gut gebrauchen. Dazu gibt's je nach Anzahl Gängen eine passende Weinbegleitung mit durchaus positiven Überraschungen. Service und Ambiente sind leger, Preise angemessen.

Tolle Kombinaton von Aromen und Geschmack. Sehr gute Qualität der Speisen, ausgezeichneter und kompetenter Service. Stimmiges Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Sitzsituation etwas beengt, und doch recht hoher Geräuschpegel beeinträchtigen den Gesamteindruck. Dennoch eine 100% Empfehlung.

Wow I spontaneously ended up in this restaurant. It definitely wasn't the last time. Everything was perfect.

Wir waren vor einem Monat schon einmal hier. Und obwohl wir in Flein Handball spielten, haben wir extra in Waiblingen übernachtet, weil wir dieses Restaurant so gut fanden. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Smørebrød, Radichio, Rehrücken, Kalbsbäckchen, beide Nachspeisen...Extraklasse. Dieser Chefkoch ist ein Genie. Er spielt mit Aromen. Und das unglaublich gut. Selbst wenn wir in Hamburg Handball spielen...wir werden in Waiblingen übernachten.

Etwas lange Wartezeiten, guter sehr freundlicher Service Hauptgericht ( Hähnchen / Fregola ) mit ein bisschen viel Fregola und wenig Huhn und zu wenig Rosenkohl) tolle Soße.

Eingang mit Rollstuhl (2Stufen) zugänglich. Toilette sehr großzügig, leider keine Haltegriffe. Das Essen (Silvestermenü) war hervorragend. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Preis=Wert

Das Silvester Menü war ausgezeichnet zusammengestellt und von hoher Qualität. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sowohl die Weinbegleitung als auch die Getränke Begleitung ohne Alkohol waren ausgezeichnet. Es war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Danke an die Untere Apotheke

We like to go to restaurants, including starred restaurants. The “lower pharmacy” absolutely does not have to take a back seat here. A simple, modern atmosphere, attentive service without being intrusive. We both had the five course meal. Wonderful compositions, every single component is good to taste, very attractively presented, the wines correspond. The “Lower Pharmacy” is definitely recommended. And if you don't want to eat a menu, there is also a completely "normal" menu. Watching the chefs through the glass panes in the kitchen is a pleasure.

Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, das Essen war sehr lecker und wir kommen wieder, weil das Ambiente auch voll und ganz gepasst hat. Wir hatten ein super Service vom Sommelier des Hauses. Bis bald.
