I would be happy to come back, the restaurant and marina are highly recommended.

Never again... Long waits, unfriendly service, inferior cakes, and very expensive. Even the lovely ambiance doesn't make up for it.

It was very tasty and nice atmosphere

We visited the café today and were unfortunately completely disappointed. We encountered difficulties right from the start: When we wanted to order a latte macchiato with oat milk, the waiter was clearly overwhelmed and had to ask if they even had oat milk. When choosing cake, we were offered several different varieties – we opted for a piece that was supposedly available. Shortly afterward, we were told that it wasn't available after all, as there was only one left. Why they didn't tell us this directly remains a mystery. Overall, the order was very uncoordinated: coffee, ice cream, and cake were brought out significantly apart, so one person was always waiting or had already finished while the other hadn't had anything. We were particularly struck by the unfriendly and bored manner of the staff – no trace of hospitality. The latte macchiato was another disappointment: no milk foam, barely any oat milk flavor – basically just a regular coffee. When the cake finally arrived, which was unfortunately visibly moldy (green spots in the dough), we addressed the issue directly. The response was sobering: They wanted to speak to the master baker, who had supposedly assured us that everything was fresh. Nevertheless, the moldy piece was taken back – but not removed from the bill! We still had to pay for the spoiled cake. Conclusion: Absolutely unacceptable for us – poor service, poor hygiene, and no understanding or consideration for justified criticism. We definitely won't be back.

Today I'm writing a review of my restaurant visit on June 24, 2025, at the Heidanger marina in Bortfeld. We've been here a few times and have always been satisfied. The main meal was fine. Unfortunately, we then discovered that the separate salad had some brown leaves. Okay, it happens. After the Aperol Spritz we ordered was almost finished, I noticed that there was a large, moldy orange slice in the drink. When you specifically point out that everything is freshly prepared, something like this shouldn't happen. Then the staff's reaction was incorrect. "Then I'll bring you a new one." It's only right to apologize for this. Not a word about it. We were disappointed and won't be coming back.

A lovely restaurant in an idyllic location. The ambiance and food are excellent, with friendly service. Well worth a visit.

Super nice, the service is very attentive. The food is delicious, and you can even pre-order vegan dishes. I love the fabric tablecloths.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Unfortunately, the kitchen was extremely overwhelmed. We had to wait about two hours for our main courses. There wasn't even any bread to pass the time.

The best part is the setting. When you wait over an hour for your food and ask politely, only to get a response like "they're not a fast-food restaurant," that's just rude. You wait to order, you wait for drinks, for the food, and for the bill. Only the service is relaxed. I don't need to put myself through that again. For those prices, you'd expect more. We tried it about 15 years ago. Nothing has changed.

We're regulars there, and the food has always been excellent. Yes, you do have to wait for the food, but it's always freshly prepared and incredibly delicious, which is why you wait. It's not a snack bar. The atmosphere is very clean and incredibly nice. The chef and staff are always nice and friendly. We celebrated our wedding there on Friday and are still incredibly impressed with the food and everything that was organized and how our wishes were implemented. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire staff and Mr. Milius.

We were celebrating my grandmother's birthday and were invited. I was a bit unsure about the reviews and wanted to see for myself. Unfortunately, I have to say that, apart from the pleasant ambiance and the friendliness of the service staff, this restaurant doesn't really score highly, which is a shame, because it has potential. The prices are abysmal; only two dishes for a light snack cost under €20 (excluding the appetizers). The rest is so expensive that you really consider just getting a drink. Our meals arrived separately, about 10 minutes apart, with two of them being brought incorrectly. Our drinks weren't taken until after we'd ordered them and then sat on the bar for a whopping 20 minutes, where the waiters were chatting, but no one brought them to us. The food was almost finished by the time our drinks finally arrived. And unfortunately, I also have to say that my meal was very mildly seasoned, to the point of not having any seasoning at all, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but there wasn't even an option to add salt. Conclusion: Since we were invited, we didn't say anything about it on the spot, but it's clear to us that we won't be returning to this restaurant again. Our waitress was at least very friendly, but I don't define good service as anything else.

Die Qualität des Essens war nicht schlecht, aber die lange Wartezeit hat den gesamten Besuch ruiniert. Ich würde nicht empfehlen, hier zu essen, wenn man nicht gerne sehr lange wartet." SCHLIMM!!!!

We had a reservation at 7:15 p.m. We got the table pretty quickly. We started waiting for the menu and then at some point the drinks arrived. When we were ordering our food we heard another guest complaining about the 1.5 hour wait... we should have listened better. When we asked if it came otherwise we would leave, we were told it would be another 10 minutes... in the end it was 25... the food wasn't served to everyone at the same time. The waiter didn't ask anyone for more drinks and was quite inattentive. We know it so that you get a little something like bread and butter in advance....unfortunately not... Mega disappointing because the restaurant has real potential. Great location. It's a shame we don't come here anymore

Best harbor very close to the Mittelland Canal. Always worth a detour. We do this whenever we are in the area, ambience, friendliness and restaurant very good. We'll be back. MY ASTERIA

Super nice atmosphere, it's a shame it's not used. Despite the good staff and the fact that the place wasn't even remotely full, the waiters seemed totally overwhelmed. As other guests have already written, you had to wait a long time for your order, but that was the least of our problems of the whole visit. There were great cakes on display, so we ordered a piece. After we waited again for about 20 minutes and noticed how the last piece of cake we had ordered was brought to someone else (AFTER we had ordered), we were fed a piece of cake half the size, which was brought out of the kitchen and looked like the one from the day before (it was DEFINITELY NOT the same cake as the one that was on display). My friend still gave the cake a chance (also because of the long waiting time). When paying, my friend pointed out the mysterious piece of cake (which didn't taste good either), whereupon the waiter just said "well, we don't actually have frozen cake". My personal highlight, however, was that the waiter in question made fun of our request shortly afterwards in the kitchen (I guess with the chef). A little tip: you should actually take your customers seriously and not gossip about them when they are still there. All in all we won't be coming back.

A very nice place, the food was delicious and the service was very attentive and very professional. The restaurant and the outdoor area are very lovingly and beautifully designed.

The food was very good. But waiting 1.5 hours without any information or greeting from the kitchen is not very nice. The staff was hardworking but probably, like everywhere else, not sufficient.

We were present for breakfast on September 29th, 2024. Since it was very well attended, everything took time. The service staff was very quick and friendly, even though they were just running. The breakfast itself was very, very nice. Highly priced and high quality. We were just thrilled. I hope it was worth it and that the “Sunday breakfast” will be repeated. Very nice atmosphere and great service. The food was also on point and well prepared. Prices are a little higher, but in my opinion justified. For smaller children, however, the plate would not have to be delivered so hot or you would simply have to ask in advance. Everyone is different. Parking spaces are a bit tight given the location, but it is really pleasantly quiet and beautifully located.

We were there today with the whole family. Based on previous visits, we were looking forward to a good schnitzel or fish. We wanted to have lunch and then stay until coffee/cake. However, it took so long for us to be served by a waitress despite repeated requests that, according to the waitress, it was now too late to order lunch. Despite being slightly upset due to the fact described, we stayed with the intention of having something to drink first and then eating another piece of cake afterwards. The drinks we ordered took a full 25 minutes to arrive, and then 50% of the order was returned because they were drinks that we hadn't ordered. When we all had drinks, they were warm or stale. Afterwards we wanted to order cake and a cup of ice cream, but had to wait another 20 minutes because cakes could only be ordered from 3 p.m.... We initially accepted this fact and asked to reserve our order but please bring the ice cream in advance. At 3:25 p.m., after repeated requests, we received the pieces of cake we ordered. The ice cream arrived another 10 minutes later and was already completely melted under the cream that was explicitly NOT requested. When we then asked for the bill, which again took a while to arrive, there were various things on it that we hadn't eaten. However, this fact rounded off today's visit appropriately in terms of service. Ultimately, it can be said that if you get something from the kitchen and it hasn't been sitting on the counter for ages, it is definitely edible. But when it comes to service and, above all, the commitment of the staff to service, I have rarely experienced anything worse. For example, questions about a children's chair are simply answered with: “Yes, it's inside!” Or the request for a menu is answered with: “I don’t know when I’ll be able to make it.” We also heard several complaints at several tables next door. In our opinion, it's a shame because there could be so much more.

9 people, including 4 children. Over 90 minutes waiting time for the food. The children's food arrived 20 minutes beforehand. The drink order was forgotten twice and the service was unfortunately not always attentive. Reference was made to the full house. The food itself was ok, unfortunately not nearly as good as on the first visit.

Unfriendly welcome, the landlord himself even really unfriendly. It gives the impression that you are not up to the challenge. Very long waiting times. Highly priced. Better to keep driving.

Today we went on a bike ride on a great Sunday and sat down in a beach chair for lunch. A very friendly welcome. The wait was worth it, I can highly recommend the small fish stick plate in this weather. Another cool one for the rest of the way and then see you next time.

Delicious food with a view of the canal. Beautiful garden with a pleasant atmosphere. Courteous service, friendly and calm, despite the full location. We came without a reservation and were lucky to get a spot. We would be happy to come back

Sorry, but that was the second visit where it was explained to us that food was no longer possible because the kitchen couldn't handle it (12:00) and otherwise there was quite a mess here, reservations had apparently been forgotten, guests were a bit annoyed and then Someone was still looking for an opportunity, waiting 30 minutes for a drink seems to be the rule here, people at the neighboring table were already making fun of it. I would have liked to rate something other than complete confusion, but if you haven't received anything after 40 minutes, then you just have to leave.

It's not every day that you find such a great location in this region. You feel like you're on vacation with the Mediterranean flair and super nice staff, who have to fight a lot when Dr. Prof. and his wife couldn't get a seat in the front row... We enjoyed the food excellently and the view of the yachts 🛥️ was great. Tip: be sure to make a reservation and ask in advance where the company would like to sit…

We made an appointment to view the premises. The first contact was more than difficult because there was no response to emails etc. The telephone conversation was somewhat one-sided and disinterested, but an appointment was arranged. Without asking for which event, how many people, etc. Well... The tour was very sobering, because we were succinctly shown the inside of the café as the space available. Here, too, it was apparently uninteresting what type of event or what time period it was, just how many people were involved. So after about 1 minute and in complete horror we were outside again. We were neither offered the festival pavilion advertised online nor the corresponding boat hall. It's a shame because we had chosen this location for our wedding. Disappointing and not recommended in this way.

It's not just the kitchen that's top notch! On July 18th My wife and I had dinner in the Heidanger marina. The beautiful evening began with the approach to the restaurant, many beautiful yachts on the right side of the driveway, wow, what a sight. Then the outdoor area in front of the restaurant, you feel like you are on holiday on the Côte d'Azur, large palm trees, fragrant citrus trees and so on. You are welcomed by very friendly staff, the boss also comes to the table and greets you with friendly words. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and has many tables by the window area, you can also enjoy the ambience from inside. The food was very, very good, both the starters, the main courses and the desserts. The prices are absolutely ok, everything is freshly prepared. We will be back! Nice atmosphere, but very disorganized, despite three waiters walking past the table several times, I didn't even get a card. After 15 minutes I left without ordering anything...

The service staff on July 14th. was downright terrible. Totally unfriendly reception and then you sit and sit and sit and in between you can see the young men standing around haphazardly without looking over the crowd. After half an hour of ignorance, we had enough. But the ambience itself is always nice.

Nice location, same ambience, tasteful furnishings. Food good, service only partially good. The wrong food was served and was immediately corrected, but we were only able to eat part of it together while the other person was now allowed to wait for their food. No significant apology was made. After the meal it was cleared away, but there was no request for any further requests. Nobody came either, so we had to go to the counter to get the bill, only to have a very young waiter ask us snidely where we were sitting and then explain what a receipt was and what we could do with the billing , whatever we wanted, but he could also throw them away for us. In the end, you quickly ruin your partially justified good reputation.

Simply a great location! The food is very good and the service is excellent. The place is of course even more beautiful in summer - with a view of the yachts and the water. But even in bad weather you can sit comfortably in the house. Absolute recommendation!

Bei dem Angebot von hochwertigen und hochpreisigen Speisen, sollte der Gast nicht 90 Minuten auf das Essen warten müssen. Auf Nachfrage, erfolgte die Antwort, ich habe auch nur zwei Hände….. Bei überforderten Personal, nimmt man vielleicht weniger Reservierungen an.

The terrace with its impressive plants is impressive. The owners give the guest a Mediterranean flair. Our gooseberry meringue cake was incredibly good! The service was impeccable and very friendly. The price of the restaurant is a bit higher, but it's worth going there.

Absolutely gorgeous venue. The menu is modest in its offerings, but the food quality is superb based on the three items our group ordered. Management is exceptional and that they are so friendly that you would not suspect they are German! We were on our boat. We spent the night in the small marina. Management could not have accommodating. It was an exceptional stay for us!.

The food and ambience were great, but the service/kitchen was unfortunately overwhelmed during our visit, everything took forever. But it wasn't a problem as it was very relaxing to sit under the palm trees at the harbor basin. Food quality is very good.

Very nice atmosphere, always has been! I have known the marina for over 30 years. The food was always very tasty, the operators and service staff were always very friendly. I just can't understand why everything always takes so incredibly long. When it comes to a freshly prepared meal, I understand this to some extent. But a simple coffee? 2 scoops of ice cream? We waited a quarter of an hour for the bill... and after further inquiries it came. Maybe you can pay attention to that...

Beautiful location with a good ambience and holiday feeling. Staff unfortunately disorganized. It seemed as if only the upper class were served. We were there on a stopover in "normal" clothes and weren't served for ages. Map and service only upon request.

It was very crowded. Unfortunately you had to wait a long time until you got your drinks. You had to take care of the cake yourself. The staff was far too few for the rush.

Wir haben hier am zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag Mittags hier mit der Familie mit 16 Personen (davon zwei Kleinkinder) gegessen. Es waren im Vorfeld mehrere Weihnachtsmenüs angeboten worden, die wir vorab ausgewählt hatten. Alle Menüs waren sehr gut. Der Service war erstklassig und sehr zuvorkommend. Trotz vollem Haus wurde nie der Eindruck von Stress gezeigt. Wir haben für das kommende Jahr wieder reserviert. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

We at bootsfuehrerschein-Niedersachsen started the practical training for our boat schools from Hanover to Goslar in the harbor at the beginning of September 2018. We are very happy about the beautiful location😄. The entire team gets it from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Stars.

Wat een onverwachte positieve verrassing! Onderweg naar Berlijn hadden we een overnachting in Verchelde geboekt. Het bleek echter niet eenvoudig in de buurt een goed en leuk restaurant te vinden op een zondagavond en we wilden liever niet naar Braunschweig rijden. Bij toeval zagen we dit restaurant en namen de gok. Dat is super goed uitgevallen! De haven en het restaurant liggen ligt wat verstopt, maar gezien de verdere omgeving een prima locatie. We hadden de burratta en rinder suppe vooraf en als hoofdgerecht Jachthafen teller en vegetarische bulgur bowl. Alles was super vers en smaakvol! Nederlandse middenklasse restaurant prijzen, maar het geld zeker waard.

Seit ca. 20 Jahren bin ich von der sehr guten Küche und dem liebevollem Ambiente begeistert. Immer eine besondere Freude hier zu Speisen!

Ich habe dort nur was getrunken, aber fand es trotzdem sehr schön dort. Ein bisschen wie ein kleiner Urlaub mit Palmen, Strandkörben und Booten🤩. Das Personal war auch sehr nett😊.

Sehr freundlicher Service! Wir haben Kuchen gegessen, Stachelbeerbaisertorte mega lecker! Andere Gäste haben aus der Speisekarte gewählt und egal was serviert wurde, es sah alles sehr appetitlich aus und es roch verdammt lecker! Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!

Obwohl die Feier von vielen Menschen besucht wurde, kam niemals Hektik oder Stress auf. Immer wurde jeder auf die gleiche nette Art bedient. Die weiteren Speisen waren exzellent und hervorragend angemacht. Sehr viele frische Zutaten! Obwohl wir von weiter her kamen, werden wir demnächst sehr gern wieder einkehren. Leute aus dem Umland - macht euch alle auf in dieses vorzügliche Ambiente. Wir können manche der einschränkenden Bewertung überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen! Herzlichen Dank dem gesamten Team!

Der Besuch im Yachthafen Restaurant ergab sich im August 2023 im Rahmen von privaten Feierlichkeiten zu einem Jubiläum. Ich habe folgende 7 positive Beobachtungen gemacht die ich gerne teilen möchte. 1.Alle servierten warmen und kalten Speisen waren frisch, selbstgemacht und von höchster Qualität 2.Die Location hat ein wunderbares Ambiente und ist Langnese für die Augen. 3.Der Service war sehr freundlich und professionell 4.Habe ich schon gesagt , das das Essen ausgezeichnet war ? 5.Cappuccino und Espresso von Heimbs, sehr lecker. Mit wunderbaren Milchschaum. 6.Die Torten und Kuchen war selbst gebacken,sie waren nicht nur wunderschön anzusehen sondern schmeckten auch vorzüglich 7.Das hausgemachte Vanilleeis mit Rote Grütze war phenomenal. Ein weiterer Besuch lohnt sich definitiv. Hier möchte ich gerne erneut eingeladen werden..

Die Lage ist einfach Klasse. Das Essen ist gut. Wir hatten Kuchen. Der hat zwar gescheckt aber der Käsekuchen von meinem Mann war nicht der Renner.

Ambiente super, Rest brauchen wir nicht nochmal. Waren 12 Personen, essen war vorbestellt, 6 so und 6 so. Wir müssten fast 115 Minuten waren. Vorspeise Tomaten Suppe , Brot kam, Suppe auch. Ein kleiner Teller mit einem Butter Messer lag bereit. Leider kam der Butter nach dem die Suppe gegessen war. Nach weiteren langem warten, kam das Hauptgericht. Der Fleisch war lauwarm, der Butter darauf wollte nicht verlaufen. Beilage Kartoffeln wurden 5 min später serviert. Es wurden 6 Expresso bestellt, nach ca 10 bis 15 min serviert. Seltsam, am Tisch nebenan, 5 Personen,Alla Kart bestellt, haben es sehr schnell ihr essen bekommen. Leider trotz toller Lage und ambiente, nicht unser lokal. Das Personal sollte sich im klaren sein, das wenn eine Gruppe da ist, davon es Personen gibt,wo begeistert sind von der Küche und Service. Bay Baby

Wir wurden Eingeladen zu einer Diamantenen Hochzeit. Die Unterschiedlichen Gänge waren köstlich und die Bedienung bzw. die Kellner war sehr nett. Man muss gut aufpassen wie man dort hin kommt da es nur eine Einfahrt geht.

Sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant. Haben lecker gegessen. Waren mit dem Boot auf empfelung hier. Aber der Hafen könnte etwas mehr Liebe gebrauchen.

Nettes Ambiente, wenn man auf das Wasser und Yachten sehen möchte. Zur Deko Palmen. Die eher kleine Karte hat aber schon gehobene Preise. Für das günstigste Gericht muss Mal wohl über 20 € bezahlen. Wer schnell mal etwas essen möchte wird wohl enttäuscht sein. Wir mussten sehr sehr lange auf das Essen warten. Da wir eine nette Runde waren und genug zu erzählen hatten kein Problem, aber schnell ist definitiv anders. Es war ein Tisch für 7 Personen bestellt, gedeckt war aber nur für 6. Das Essen und der Nachtisch waren dann aber gut.

Bedienung leider sehr lahm ohne angemessen Überblick über die Tische... lange Wartezeit und vergessenes Eis bei 30 Grad...schade...traumhaft gelegen direkt am Hafen...Urlaubsfeeling pur

Ein bezaubernder Ort zum Verweilen, egal ob altes 😂 Paar oder frisch verliebt. Immer kommt ein Urlaubsgefühl auf. 💗💓💞

Waren heute gegen 14:45 dort, da im Internet als Öffnungszeit für den Samstag 15:00 angegeben ist. Laut Aushang aber am Samstag erst ab 17:00. Bitte mal Interneteintrag anpassen, dann kann man sich die Fahrerei sparen.

Restaurant „Am Yachthafen“ Das Restaurant Yachthafen ist sehr schön. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Steak war sehr lecker. Die dazugehören Beilagen waren auch sehr gut. Herausstechend waren die Pfifferlinge welche einen sehr guten und Intensiven Geschmack hatten. Nun zu dem Service der Service war Einwand frei Nett und Aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist natürlich Top. Direkt am Wasser.
