We went there based on recommendations and can only confirm it! Delicious food, very friendly, and a lovely atmosphere.

Attentive service, modern tableware, and, above all, excellent culinary delights awaited us here once again. We think it's by far the best restaurant in town. We'll definitely be back soon.

The food was very good, not exactly cheap but worth the money. It was very crowded and chaotic when we were there, though. They tried to remain friendly and professional.

Top-notch restaurant in Goslar. Away from the hustle and bustle, this delightful restaurant offers excellent Italian cuisine. The steaks are also excellent. The service is very professional and exceptionally friendly and helpful. I'm truly impressed with the quality of the food. The various bruschettas are a good choice as a starter. The pastas are also exquisite, just like the steaks. Delicious wines complete the experience. Not cheap, but certainly not expensive, especially considering the quality and service offered.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre and completely overpriced, and the portions were minimal compared to the price. The main course portions were equivalent to a standard appetizer. Still water was served in an open bottle of sparkling wine for €5 a bottle. Cheap wine was available for four times the retail price. The restaurant is lined with aluminum ventilation ducts, which may be intended to give it a modern feel, but in my opinion, is inappropriate for a so-called upscale establishment. The relatively quiet background music was not intrusive, which was pleasant.

Food really delicious but way too expensive for what you get..

I have dined at Trüffel before where everything was great, but from the start it just felt off. First of all, it took a very long time for us to just get the menus and half an hour from arriving at the restaurant to us even getting to order our food. And then another half hour for us to get our starters. The table beside us seemingly got to order instantly and got their food fairly quickly, but for some reason that wasn't the case for us. We would have wanted to order dessert, but as soon as our dinner plates were cleared our servers disappeared. No one ever acknowledged that we had waited for quite some time, and overall the experience was just weird and slightly disappointing, especially because the food is as good as it is. But the experience was just spoiled by the service. We even wondered if we in any way could have done anything to upset the servers, but as I said, the weird service started from the moment we set foot in the restaurant, so it seems unlikely. Not a fun experience sadly.

Today, after four months, we made a second attempt. Unfortunately, it hasn't improved. I find the many good reviews puzzling. The Wiener schnitzel was rather small and consisted of two unequal slices, which were also cooked differently. One half was dry. Unfortunately, at €29, it was a no-go. The wine list promises a lot but doesn't deliver. Overall, completely overpriced. Wine prices like in Hamburg without the corresponding quality. The Zweigelt was overpriced and undrinkable - thankfully, they didn't charge for it. Nice ambiance and friendly service with lots of delicious food. Room for improvement in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful time at Trüffel. We enjoyed a sundowner outside in front of the restaurant and then dinner at a great spot right in front of the bar. Great ambiance, delicious wines, and great food. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!

Unfortunately very disappointing. The table decoration for our 40th wedding anniversary, which we had ordered in advance by email, was completely missing. The staff don't seem to talk to each other and information is apparently not passed on. We actually wanted to spend a cozy evening. Actually!! Too bad!! Not recommended.

A beautiful location in the middle of the old town of Goslar. Coziness and hospitality are offered in the house. A large selection of starters and dishes with truffles are the hallmark of this restaurant. The wine list is well sorted and offers excellent wines from Tuscany, Piedmont and Apulia. We spent our holiday over the Christmas period in Goslar and my partner wanted to surprise me and reserved a table in the Trüffel restaurant, which is tastefully modern and decorated with rustic elements. We received a very friendly welcome with our small dog, our coats were taken from us and taken to the cloakroom. We were glad we made a reservation. The small restaurant was fully booked and many interested parties were turned away. We had an excellent meal, the potato soup with truffle was a highlight. The main courses (lamb fillet with an aromatic, delicious sauce and the pork medallions in cream sauce) were cooked to perfection and very tender. I would have liked to drink some wine with it, but unfortunately I had a bad cold at the time and it would have been a shame. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the service was very friendly, accommodating and everything was prepared perfectly. I watched as the red wine was decanted for the next table. The only downside is the women's toilet, unfortunately there is only one toilet and of all things, the water flush didn't work. I passed it on to the owner. She wanted to deal with it straight away. The toilet could also be more modernly equipped, and for me it would be just as nice as the restaurant. We will definitely visit Goslar again and come back... it was just great!!!

Additionally, a daily chef suggestion also available as a full course menu or individually. I miss only more offers with truffles or some option to add truffles on top. Special remark for the outstanding service. The ladies were all very kind and fast. Usually I am struggling in German restaurants where I need to keep begging for a new glass of wine, but in this one the waiters where very fast and kind. Wine list very complete with fair prices. Also, opened wines all very good. Food no cheap but fair and at market price. Worth the experience. Strongly recommend!!!!

Wir wurden freundlich in dem vollbesetzten Lokal empfangen. Unsere getrüffelten, natürlich, Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft und dazu ein leckerer Wein.

Friendly staff, very good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Of course the prices are a little higher than in some other restaurants, but this can be justified and understood by the excellent quality of the food. My recommendation is especially the sole.

Schönes kleines Restaurant in zentraler Lage. Schöne Auswahl an verschiedenen Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichten, viele mit Trüffeln angerichtet. Reservierungen sind empfehlenswert, Service sehr gut und aufmerksam. Preislich schon in der Kategorie hochpreisig anzusiedeln.

Simply a dream! As a big fan of truffle dishes, I absolutely love it! At the beginning we were greeted by the scent of truffles throughout the restaurant. I ordered truffle risotto and that was heaven in the mouth. My husband took lamb with chanterelles and was also thrilled. In any case, here is my TOP 1 restaurant at the moment ❤️

I would have given the restaurant 4 to 5 stars, as the food was absolutely the best we had had in all of Germany. both starter, main course and dessert were top class. we had chanterelle soup, red sole and dessert. our young waiter was really skilled. we ordered a French wine "Sankt Emilion Grand Cru" our skilled waiter served the wine in the best way. unfortunately, after the first glass, a large black fly landed in the wine. we asked for a new bottle. About 5 minutes passed and then a man came out with an apron, and without introducing himself, and spoke quickly in German. i asked him to please speak english as we don't understand german. the first thing he said was that they wouldn't pay for a new bottle and that it was our own fault that we chose to sit outside. we ate for 220€, it was not a cheap but good place. I explained told him that a fly usually comes from animal feces if he wants his customers to drink wine with that animal in the wine. All other restaurants I have been to had it been a formality and you would have been given a new wine asap. It must be said that the staff handled the wine and was on another table and we had no access to the bottle. Still, it was our fault, the customer, and not the restaurant's responsibility? my wife suggested if we could get a new bottle cheaper to close the case. we got a new bottle for 25% discount….The next bottle was demonstratively served by a new unsmiling employee who did not edge that bottle and demonstratively put the cork on so the wine was not oxygenated at all. we gave nice tips and left the place disappointed.

The interior is small, but quite comfortable if you don't sit directly in front of the front door. The menu is completely sufficient and pleased our taste buds and eyes to the highest degree. The staff is very friendly and attentive

I ordered a rump steak. I was given a scrap of the back of a German young bull, unripened/wet meat, not recognizable as rump steak, the cooking point “medium” was adhered to. The potato side dish and other side dishes are very economical and with the salad, everyone reaches their dream weight immediately. If it hadn't been a business lunch that I had organized based on my previous good experiences there, I would have complained about the steak. Our guests' dishes were modest. Are you interested in changing something?

We had booked a table at Truffle this lunchtime because we wanted to celebrate a birthday in a good restaurant in a nice atmosphere. The appetizer came deliciously on a preheated plate, the water was served sparkling in a carafe with our good Harz water (€4). For the main course, however, it wasn't the fillet we ordered but a schnitzel, the other food came almost as ordered - instead of the Macaire potatoes, fried potatoes were brought, even though these were intended for the fillet. When we refused to accept it, we were asked whether we wanted the schnitzel - no, we wanted what we had ordered. Yes, then we would have to wait... The lady apologized briefly - it was her mistake, she had put something wrong in the cash register. We now sat at the table with one meal and had to wait for the other. It would have all been well and good, but having to wait a good 30 minutes for a meal... and this with a special event (birthday dinner) - a shame - but it can happen sometimes... After my partner had eaten everything, she went to the manager in the restaurant for a one-on-one conversation (there was still a lot of time until the second meal came...) and explained that we were a little dissatisfied with everything and we we had hoped for a nicer birthday meal. In addition, the food plate had such a large chip that I would have thrown it away in my kitchen! We have been guests for around 30 years and have almost always been extremely satisfied, but unfortunately the quality of the food and the service have declined since Corona. When the ordered food finally arrived after a long time, the pork fillet was completely cooked and was very difficult to cut with a knife. When the boss came and asked if everything was okay, I complained about my fillet and said that it was "fried to death". She, on the other hand, insisted that it was pink... well, gray and pink are easy to tell apart... When the bill came with unfortunately not a word of apology and the full amount of €90, my wallet was no longer loose and there was no tip. It's a shame, I would have liked different service from a restaurant of this category. Would it have been so bad that they would have asked if the mistake could be made up for with a drink? Unfortunately, it was my impression that a lot of emphasis is placed on local celebrities - unfortunately we were only there dressed in casual style. I can no longer give the unreserved recommendation that I gave years ago. We are also considering whether we will choose this restaurant again.

The food at the Truffle Restaurant was super delicious, from the starter to the main course to dessert! The small restaurant also has a nice atmosphere, so we had a very nice evening for two. The only thing that really bothered us was one of the waitresses, the way she treated us wasn't working at all. For example, our day menu was taken away from us without asking and put at another table. At this point we hadn't even read everything on the daily menu. The way she treated her colleagues also said a lot. Hence the one star deduction. All other waitresses were very nice and accommodating. Otherwise the evening was very nice and delicious!

Wir waren wieder einmal zum Nikolaus im „Trüffel“ - wie immer stimmte alles: Speisen, Getränke und Service.

Der Name ließ die Erwartungen eher etwas höher ausfallen, was aber leider weder vom Ambiente noch vom Essen gehalten werden konnte. Beides in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes.

Sicherlich ein top location, essen super. Nur beim Service ist noch Potential nach oben. Unsere Bedinung musste häufig nachfragen und konnte leider den Wein nicht einschenken...das sollte vorher geprobt werden. Das beim Essen die hauptzutat fehlte sollte die Bedienung auch sehen bevor aufgetragen wird. Zum Abschluss noch eine falsch ausgestellte Rechnung... Schade sonst wären volle 5 Sterne drin gewesen.

Gave 2 stars to the food because the minestrone was nice. But the fish wasn't fresh, it was smelly and when I told the waitress she said the chef confirmed there was a problem with it. They didn't charge the fish, but I ended up not having dinner. The salad was swimming in a sweet sauce, not everyone's taste. Service was good, space was OK.

Der Koch ist ein Zauberer. Die Bedienungen sind unglaublich kinderfreundlich, schnell und kompetent.

Wir haben aus der Mittagskarte bestellt, es gab vorweg eine Suppe. Essen war lecker und die Bedienung sehr nett. Kommen gerne wieder.

Hohe gleichbleibende Qualität der leckeren Gerichte, günstige Tagesangebote incl. kleinen Süppchen, tolle Weine und ein sehr netter Service. Extra- Wünsche werden auch Problemlos umgesetzt. Ich bin immer wieder sehr gerne hier zum schlemmen.
