We went there spontaneously and..... always happy. Food came very quickly and it was also very tasty. Many people wrote that they waited around two hours for food... there were four of us and we waited maybe 10 minutes (ciorba plus felul doi).

Relatively good food served with a very long delay in a kitsch atmosphere.

There were 4 of us eating for dinner today, the cats were burnt and dry, the steak was super dry, it looked like you were chewing gum, the polenta was raw and flavourless, the sarmalele were super boiled, the schnitzel was a bit good but it was ordered with piure, instead it arrived with chips, the wine was good, and the pickles (muraturi), for the rest the waiter came to take the order with a cigarette in his mouth 😅. We paid 260 plus €30 tip but we will never go back, not good at all, if you continue like this you can close.

Good food with Romanian specifics, pleasant atmosphere ffff fine recommend

Yesterday we were back at the Transilvania restaurant after a break of almost a year. I come from Transylvania myself, my husband doesn't, but he knows Romanian cuisine well from many visits to Romania. That's why he ordered tripe soup (I didn't) and a grilled sea bream with fries. As it said on the menu, I ordered 3 lamb chops (instead of vegetables, polenta and garlic paste). To drink, he lemonade, I a glass of red wine (0.2 ml) and 0.5 l mineral water. After more than half an hour the soup came, of course I kept waiting. My husband tried the soup, wasn't very impressed, so I tried it too. No taste, it was the worst tripe soup I've tried so far! After another good half hour the fish came. The waiter (Antonio) didn't even notice that there were 2 napkins and 2 spoons (??) on the table, but no forks or knives, he put the plate on the table and it was gone. My husband had to grab the cutlery from another empty table. Still nothing for me! The fish was cold, my husband left more than half of it. He had long since finished eating when my order finally came. Instead of lamb chops there were two small skewers of grilled meat, which (I tried a small corner) was 100% pork, not lamb and was also cold. I asked the waiter what was going on, his answer was they don't have any chops, just these pieces of meat. I returned the plates with the request to keep the side dish and to get two “mici” (cevapcici) instead of skewers. Even though the grill outside was hot and had been going for hours, it took another 45 minutes and my food still wasn't there. So after waiting for over two and a half hours without eating, I got up and wanted to leave. My husband wanted to speak to the boss, he wasn't there, a young woman explained to us that the whole team in the kitchen was new! What does the kitchen team have to do with the man who stood outside in front of his hot grill the whole time and took at most 5 minutes to fry two mici? From the moment we walked in until the end I counted a total of 20 people in the restaurant. Not even a quarter of the seats were occupied, yet, as I heard from other tables, many people canceled coffee or dessert and left because the waiting times were forever! There was also no attempt to "reward" the guests with a free drink or something similar for the long wait or to apologize. Nothing, just shown the cold shoulder and offered meaningless and incomprehensible explanations in a heartless and indifferent manner! We wanted to pay for what we consumed, but things that we hadn't ordered were first added to the bill, then taken out again and in the end we paid 55.80 euros for a soup, a fish, a lemonade, water and 0.2 ml of wine. Today I looked at the menu online and did the math again (generous with lots of extras, like fries, garlic paste, etc.), but I still came to a maximum of 46.60 euros instead of 55.80 euros! So almost 10 euros more mercilessly on the bill! Outrageous! Unprofessional! Conclusion: Never again Transilvania! Never again where they only make money without considering the satisfaction of their guests! The only plus point is the wood grill, because unfortunately restaurants in Munich are not allowed to grill on wood grills! Otherwise, no plus point! It's outrageously expensive for poor quality, cold food, endless waiting times and an enormous lack of interest and indifference! If you want to eat good and lots of Romanian food at very fair prices, visit the “Pschorr Krug” - Oberländerstraße 32, 81371 Munich, where Mr. Istrate has many original, fresh, homemade Romanian specialties, unfortunately as I said not a wood grill, but a lava grill. You won't regret it! Don't let yourself be fooled... at Restaurant Transilvania!!!!

The program does not match. I arrived at 3:30 p.m. and it is closed over, it says the working hours are 12:00-22:00.

The restaurant is impressively decorated. Santa Claus and the Christmas tree were already there in October. I was there on a day with few guests. The service was quick and very nice. The food selection is typically Eastern European. Some of the meat was a bit dry. The side dishes were very good. The portions are large, but expensive for a sports restaurant and the location. For example, 0.2 liters of wine costs €8.80, a grill plate costs €27.90.

Very rude staff, three waiters and none able to serve you calumea! Customer requirements are not taken into account at all! Burnt beef, cold belly soup! We are definitely not coming back!

Very disappointed, especially since they are Romanians like us, the food is cold and not good, and the staff is very unfriendly, even rude!! Sorry to say this but I have never seen anything like this in any restaurant here in Germany! It's a pity, as I said, we are Romanians, but I can't ignore it! I don't want to go to this restaurant anymore! It doesn't deserve a single star!

I am very dissapointed!! For the first time in this "Restaurant" The soup is very good, but in the Rest in both dishes (small with potatoes and mustard-pork cutlet with fried potatoes) I found 2 mosquitoes in the buttlet and in the mittens, hair of a bischon dog. After complaining about the food, the little quadruped walked around the terrace (cutie)

Great food but a high price. Although it is a high price, it is worth it. I ordered a soup from Radauța, but it wasn't just 2 spoons. I left full. The staff is very nice and it feels like they are educated in Romania. I felt at home again for 2 hours. Superb environment.

This is one of those rare unexpected finds and it was a great experience. The food was great and the service and atmosphere very warm. Our server helped us understand which dishes were culturally tied to Romania. Definitely will go back and hopefully with Jen’s and Monika!

So what I read, I don't really think it's true....I mean who wrote...what he wrote. My husband and family and I have eaten there more than once. It was always good food, very respectful waitresses, good food (what we ordered). The terrace is great, not only for smokers but also for children, who, of course, were always on the move and no one was disturbed. The prices, compared to other restaurants, are ok, who wants to eat something good, they have to pay, if they don't go where it's cheap and stupid, nothing will be written there, because of course it's important to be cheap . P.S. I don't know the owner or proprietress, this is what I/we felt and of course "Eyes, Nose and Stomach"

New Year's Eve 2024 a fiasco, bad music and at full blast, you couldn't communicate with the person next to you. And the very arrogant artist, besides the fact that he was drunk, started with apostrophes to the dissatisfied customers. Very crowded, I will not visit this location again.

Sehr gutes Essen bei erstklassigem Bier! Große Auswahl an Speisen etwas abgelegen am Sportplatz und das Ambiente im Lokal ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig (sehr kitschig). Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier dort. Leider waren einige Essen zu stark angebraten bzw verbrannt und trocken. Die panierten Speisen hingegen waren hervorragend. Der Service war OK, ist aber noch ausbaufähig.

O locație foarte frumos amenajată, måncarea foarte, foarte bună, pe gusturile tuturor,mai ales papanașii , preferații mei, sunt delicioși. Ospătarii foarte de treabă, o echipă de nota 10 👍👍👍Să o țineți tot așa ! Îmi pare bine că găsim și aici gustul tradițional romånesc ! Recomand cu mare drag !

Sehr leckere traditionelle Siebenbürgische, Rumänische Spezialitäten. Das Lokal ist eine Sportgaststätte, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Während unseres Besuches am 13.05.2023 ist uns Andrei als positiv aufgefallen. Wir können dieses Restaurant guten Gewissens wärmstens empfehlen.
