We've been eating here for decades. We've never really been disappointed. One of the best restaurants in this area.

Great restaurant in the center of Salzkotten. The food is very good and the selection is large. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. But you should make a reservation, otherwise you will be standing in the restaurant with many other people waiting for a free table. Incredibly high crowds.

It was my first time eating at Syrtaki and I was full of anticipation because I hadn't eaten Greek in a long time. The restaurant is large, as is the parking lot that belongs to the house. The reception was friendly, the order was taken quickly and the food was served after a short wait. Unfortunately, my positive feeling changed. I don't know whether my verdict would have been better with another dish, but unfortunately I found the gratinated vegetarian pan to have only average taste and the accompanying coleslaw was somehow "not my cup of tea". Hardly seasoned, not very attractively presented. I missed the freshness of the ingredients in the vegetarian pan. I could hardly taste what was baked in the oven with cheese according to the menu. Maybe I'll come a second time and if I'm more satisfied then I'll be happy to change my star rating upwards.

A very successful restaurant even under the new management. Very good food and charming service. Always my pleasure.

Old dark atmosphere with good, tasty food.

The 107 was very tasty and a lot. The ambience was typically Greek and the service was very friendly. Next assembly in the corner would be happy again 😊👍🏻

Our experience at this Greek restaurant was simply disappointing. In total we waited almost 1.5 hours for our food - and that was for gyros and fries, which really doesn't sound like a dish that should take that much time. The service was disastrous: there was no apology, no information about how long it would take or what the reason for the delay was. When we finally asked why we had obviously been passed over, we were only told succinctly that "Gyros always take longer". A more than unsatisfactory answer, especially when it comes from the boss himself. After the meal, which, to be honest, any snack bar would have done better, we were asked when we were paying whether we "liked" it - a bad joke considering the quality. All in all, definitely not a restaurant we would recommend.

We wanted to give the Syrtaki restaurant another chance after we had very bad experiences a few years ago. Unfortunately the opportunity was not taken, so it was definitely the last visit. The service was not attentive or friendly and again we didn't feel welcome. When we ordered the tzatziki was forgotten and unfortunately not brought back. We wanted to take the remaining meat with us. This was forgotten and discarded. When we asked, we were brought a small portion of gyros in a relatively unfriendly manner, even though we also had a Suflaki skewer left. When we wanted to pay, we were also told that the boss was collecting. After being ignored several times, we got up and went to the checkout. Apparently the boss didn't like that and was very unfriendly. The Syrtaki team lacks any host qualities. The food and the price/performance ratio was okay. But the stuff around it just doesn't work at all. The evening was an absolute failure and a huge disappointment.

Nice outside area, nice fast staff, food very tasty

I've eaten at Syrtaki many times and have always been pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately I was very disappointed today. I ordered ONE dish to pick up and was told on the phone that it would take 45 minutes. I then had to wait another 40 minutes on site. All of this can happen when the restaurant is crowded, but you also have to say sorry when things are stressful. After repeatedly asking what my order looked like, it was only prepared. The boss seemed very stressed and annoyed. After today I'm thinking about whether I'll visit the Syrtaki restaurant again.

First we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food and at the end we were insulted by the boss. We have been (have been) regular customers for at least 35 years. Not anymore

There were four of us in the restaurant, when we asked for a free table we were told that the boss would be asked, without whom nothing could probably be decided! After no one showed up, we sat down at a free table, which was only cleared after 10 minutes... there was no word from the waitress, no greeting, nothing, although none of the employees there exuded a good mood... The food was okay, but nothing more, we won't go there a second time!

Lots of tam tam (eyewash) and expensive. Despite a reservation, the table for two was tighter than on a flight with a low-cost airline. Furthermore, the staff was so slow that you could have tied their shoes while walking. Waited 35 minutes until someone came to the table and asked what you wanted to drink. The obligatory ouzo was warm. They can't do tzatziki either. (Let's go to Ilios PB and see what it must be like) That's the last time they saw me there.

We've been there several times, but we've never had such bad service! We were there for dinner with 3 couples. We were only able to order drinks after asking the waitress. At that point we had already been sitting for 20 minutes. After another 30 minutes the drinks were brought to us, almost at the same time as the food. The taste of the food was okay, but it also lost some of the quality compared to previous visits. To get our bill, we spoke to the waitress three times and after 35 minutes and a fourth question to the boss, because according to the waitress he is only allowed to collect, we were able to pay. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any friendliness or an apology from the boss either…. Everything was very sad and that's why it was our last visit to this restaurant!

Even though we haven't lived in the region for 10 years, Syrtaki is still our "favorite Greek" and is always worth a visit when we're in the area. For decades, very good food at fair prices and warm service. Always happy...

I sat down in the beer garden, most of the tables hadn't been cleared. When I ordered a grill plate, it came with an absolutely mini portion of rice, so I quickly tried to order another portion of fries, at first it was difficult to place this additional order and then this one came no more either. The food was generally good, but I don't like eating meat with meat as a side dish. Due to the lack of side dishes, I could have eaten something else, which was not what I had imagined. I'm not sure if I'll give it another try.

My grill plate was great, but my wife's stuffed pork fillet was straw dry, everything else was very good and the service was perfect.

There were 6 of us who had dinner and have been customers at Syrtaki for years. Unfortunately, the meal was a total disaster, one person got their food when everyone else was already finished, the other only got half of their food and the next one had raw meat. Drinks were only brought after 40 minutes after multiple questions. When the opinion was expressed at the end of the evening, it was met with negative understanding. Since criticism apparently cannot be dealt with, it was unfortunately the last time we would eat here as a guest after years of customer loyalty.

The food is always delicious and the boss is very friendly.

Very nice staff and the food tastes very tasty!!

I spontaneously ate here with my wife and little daughter. We got a spot in the beautiful outdoor area straight away. The waitresses were all super nice and we were greeted with an ouzo. The food came quickly and was really tasty. My daughter then got a few more gummy bears and we had another ouzo to say goodbye. All in all, a great visit with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food at a fair price. Gladly again.

Als Einheimische kann ich versichern: das beste griechische Restaurant in der Umgebung. Urig und gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr nettes Personal und großartiges Essen. Auch für Vegetarier gibt es viel Auswahl, verschiedene Vorspeisen und Beilagen. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hierher.

I am extremely disappointed... We have been there several times and have always been completely satisfied. What we had to accept today was the most outrageous thing I have ever experienced in terms of gastronomy. There were two of us and we RESERVED a table for 7 p.m. When we got there we were directed to the outside area with the words “15 minutes left”. After several questions about when we would get a table, after 45 minutes we were told “it will still take time inside.” This organizational disaster alone is a disgrace for this restaurant. But not even an apology to us, or something like an offer of drinks on the house was the icing on the cake that forced us to end the evening in another restaurant where hospitality still plays a role. This restaurant has now lost guests along with us.

The two of us were there on a Friday. We were there at 5 p.m. and were able to choose a place. Starter plate for two was rich. Main courses were tasty and plenty. Only the drink replenishment could have been a little quicker. It was a lovely evening with delicious food at a fair price. We will definitely want to eat there again.

Very unfortunate. I was so happy. I ordered a children's plate of gyros so that I still had room for dessert. I ordered the accompanying fries. The waitress didn't want to start the dessert yet, so that could be done later. (Strange) But I was able to order a small salad as a starter (!) Well. I was brought a plate with only gyros. Carelessly filled, without any decoration, even without rice. After I said that I wanted the rice and had just put down the fries, the plate went back. Was then brought back to me a few minutes later with two rice balls. The rice was overcooked, tasted of nothing, and the meat was dry. The salad as a starter tasted very good. That was it. We were a group of 8 people, the (adult) dishes all looked appetizing. It's a mystery to me how a children's meal can be prepared so carelessly. My dessert was also canceled. What a pity.

Decent portions and great service

We always enjoy going to Syrtaki for dinner. The quality is great and the service is very nice and accommodating. The ambience is rustic and typical of the country, as it should be with a Greek... recommended...

Short Summary We had booked a table for 7:30 p.m. and actually got there relatively on time. We were told on site that it would only be a short time before we could take our table. This short time lasted a whopping 45 minutes. In the meantime we were constantly put off. Unfortunately there was no more here either. The food afterwards was actually quite okay and tasty. Nevertheless, we would just go again next time and give others the opportunity to kill themselves for 45 minutes.

A very cozy Greek place where you can always go spontaneously. What did I just say? Spontaneous?! Of course not! You should reserve a place in advance. One of the most popular restaurants in Salzkotten. The service varies between three and four stars, depending on whether you have experienced people or students. The food tastes good and is well crafted. But you shouldn't expect a taste revelation or a visual innovation here.

We had dinner there with friends. The boss was in a bad mood and loudly expressed it at the next table. I'm surprised the guests didn't get up. You don't treat anyone like that, especially when other people notice. Impossible behavior. Regarding the food, I unfortunately have to say the farmer's salad was good, the rest was relatively bland and tasteless. It's good that salt and pepper are on the table. It used to be better!

Schönes griechisches Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen gutem Service und sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre.

Seit Jahren immer wieder gut. Gleichbleibende gute Qualität. Freundliche und zuvorkommend e Bedienung. Kommen sehr gerne hier hin.

Um 19 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt. Mussten dann draußen warten, bis endlich ein Tisch für uns frei war. Als wir dann endlich am Platz waren, durften wir noch über 45 Minuten warten, bis endlich mal ein Getränk gebracht wurde. Dann haben wir auch die Speisekarte bekommen um uns etwas zu essen auszusuchen. Um kurz vor 21 Uhr kam dann auch mal das Essen. Das Essen war kalt. Auf meinem Grillteller fehlte das Lammkotelett. Zu allem Überfluss, hatte die Bedienung augenscheinlich kein Bock zu arbeiten und war nicht sehr freundlich. Um 22 Uhr waren wir mit allem durch. Ich finde so ein Verhalten, eine Zumutung und bodenlose Frechheit seinen Gästen gegenüber. Ein Restaurant Besuch, welcher 3 STUNDEN dauert, habe ich noch nie erlebt. Danke für diesen tollen Silvester Abend. Diese Bude sieht mich nie wieder!

Wir waren mit 12 Personen hier und selbstverständlich hatten wir vorab einen Tisch reserviert. Leider wusste das vor Ort niemand, aber danke an den Chef, der es irgendwie ermöglicht hat und einen Tisch freigeschaufelt hat. Ein denkbar schlechter Start, aber ganz herzlichen Dank (auch an die anderen Gäste), dass das geklappt hat! Der Rest des Abends verlief weiterhin erwas chaotisch, aber das schiebe ich einfach auf die Vollheit. Das gestresste Personal hatte wirklich viel zu tun und ich hoffe einfach, dass jemand kurzfristig erkrankt und diese Überforderung KEIN Dauerzustand ist! *daumendrück* Das Essen war insgesamt lecker, die Portionen mehr als reichlich, die Preise günstig. Preis-Leistung passt!

Das Essen ist super lecker und auch riesen Portionen. Der Service ist leider sehr schlecht. Wir haben vieles nicht bekommen was wir bestellt hatten da uns der Kellner nicht verstanden hat.

Heute zum ersten Mal bei Syrtaki gegessen. Das Essen war klasse, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Ambiete im Biergarten bodenständig. Ich komme gern wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber wir mussten, aufgrund der vielen Gäste, 35 min auf die Getränke und über eine Stunde auf die Vorspeise warten.

Ein echter Geheim Tip. Das beste griechische Restaurant um Paderborn. Der Weg lohnt sich wirklich. Sehr lecker.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen: Bedienung Topp

Dieses Restaurant war wunderbar, der Vorbesitzer sorgte dafür, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlte! Gestern gingen mein Mann und ich um 21:30 Uhr zum Abendessen und die Kellnerinnen haben uns sehr schlecht behandelt. Sie waren wütend, weil sie schon gehen wollten, obwohl das Restaurant tatsächlich um 23 Uhr schließt. Sie fingen an, uns unter Druck zu setzen, zu gehen, sahen uns die ganze Zeit sehr wütend an und fragten häufig, ob wir schon fertig seien. Als ob das nicht genug wäre, brachte das Essen meines Mannes endlose schwarze Haare mit sich, die uns sehr ekelten. Wir empfehlen diesen Ort nicht mehr. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Update: Christos und seine Frau Silva haben das Restaurant übernommen - und jetzt kommen wir wieder sehr gerne hierher. DANKESCHÖN. Passt alles, Freundlich, lecker und sowieso TOP _________________________________________ Wir sind seid über 20 Jahren Gäste bei Thomas, aber das wars jetzt echt. Hunde sind im Biergarten unerwünscht - Sonntags Mittags! Wir sind super unfreundlich empfangen worden, schlechter Service und wir haben uns einfach nicht mehr Willkommen gefühlt. Essen war gut wie immer, aber wir werden uns dann doch nach einer anderen Lokation umschauen, wo auch der Hund unterm Tisch (drausen) liegen darf und nicht im heissen Auto warten muss. Schade.

Leuk restaurant met voortreffelijk eten. Bediening is erg aardig en attent. Ruime keuze op de kaart. Aankleding zoals je van de Griek gewend bent en sfeervol.
