Great delicious food Good service

A Greek restaurant 😜 There is seating inside and outside. The terrace outside is also heated in autumn/winter. All employees are very attentive and friendly. The food was fresh, hot and tasty, but I found the prices to be very high. The salad with lamb and halloumi tasted good, but I would have liked the salad to be a little more colorful. So more than iceberg, tomatoes, onions and some rocket.

Nice Greek restaurant with large terrace and beautiful interior rooms. Good foods, with large portions. Fast service, courteous staff who take care of customers. Glass of Ouzo offered at the beginning and end of the meal. Fair prices. Advised

It was super crowded, but the waiters were always friendly. Drinks and food were brought quickly. Portions were good-sized. Great selection of different types of dishes. Tastes very good. At the beginning and at the end there was ouzo☺️. Gladly again. The only thing that really bothers me is the smokers outside. You constantly have to breathe in other people's smoke. Maybe 1/2 half could be kept outside as a non-smoking area

We used to love going to “our” Greek in Berlin-Blankenburg often. Among other things because the boss Costa created a friendly and family atmosphere. After a long time we were there again today and are speechless and horrified by the unfriendliness and macho behavior of the new boss. Simply incredible. For example, For example, at our request, we refused to provide a bowl of water for our dogs when it was 34 degrees. When we pointed out that this wasn't very friendly, we were told that we could go somewhere else!!. In addition to a very unfriendly and rough tone, this is just one example. Nevertheless, the restaurant is always very busy. Probably because there is no alternative in Blankenburg. It's a shame. We won't be coming back any time soon.

Very tasty, large portions and friendly service

Very nice atmosphere, very large and with seats inside and outside. The selection is also huge, between lamb, pork and beef, as well as fish. There is also a children's menu. The portions are large and fill you up. Payment can be made with cash or EC card, debit and credit cards are not accepted.

Ich gehe mit meiner Süßen seit 3 Jahren dort essen und wir wurden bisher nie enttäuscht. Auch zwei Familienfeste haben wir im Syrtaki bereits gefeiert. Es verlief immer zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Die Qualität der Speisen hat uns bisher immer überzeugt. Die Preise sind gestiegen, das ist wahr, aber wo bitteschön nicht. Gerade in der Gastronomie ist der Energieverbrauch immens. Insofern finde ich den Anstieg schmerzhaft, aber akzeptabel. Wir lassen uns davon den Appetit an den leckeren Speisen und die tolle Atmosphäre nicht verderben. Weiter so Syrtaki!!!

Berlin ist ja am Schönsten während der Sommerferien, wenn alle im Urlaub sind, und die Stadt endlich mal atmen kann. Doch es gibt einen Nachteil: leider machen auch viele Gastronomen dann Urlaub. Umso schöner, dass das Syrtaki hier eine löbliche Ausnahme macht und uns auch während der Sommerferien bedient hat. Es war alles sehr gut. Der fair ausgepreiste weisse trockene Landwein hätte allerdings kühler sein können. Direkt vor dem Lokal gibt es auch einen grossen Parkplatz, so dass auch das Parken in diesem wunderbaren Lokal mit XXL Terrasse gar kein Problem ist.

It was initially a nice evening until the bill came... We were a larger group and the ouzo, which was apparently supposed to be on the house and put on the table, had to be paid for afterwards. Sad, considering the amount that has already been paid anyway.

I, we always go back here. For us, everything is just right here. The food is very good. The staff's service is competent, friendly and helpful. For me personally, the ambience is always very nice and pleasantly appealing. We have been coming here for many years and always feel very good. I can recommend this restaurant Syrtaki.

We were there with 10 people for our birthday. Food is huge portions and very expensive. Nobody but a wolverine can do something like that. Smaller portions and 2 euros less would also be realistic. After 2 hours the staff only came to our table to clear the plates. Orders for drinks were ignored and we then went to the counter and ordered ourselves. No usuo came to our table during that time. Neither to the beginning nor to the end. The kindergartens only came upon request. We have known this restaurant for 20 years and it has very, very declined. Of the 10 waiters, 2 were very friendly and the rest were probably in a bad mood.

It was OK. Portions were plentiful and everyone was full. The taste was not convincing. There was no other spice other than garlic. Lamb was overcooked. There are huge mountains of salad with every dish. Very pretty inside, outside there is a lack of cleanliness, the service is always attentive and polite.

My older daughter ordered a table from them for three people. On Friday it was 17 degrees and we were able to eat outside with a roof and a warming funnel. We like coming here because the food is so delicious and the salad🥗🥗 is freshly prepared beforehand. My youngest daughter and I ordered baked chicken breast fillet with Metaxer sauce and garlic potatoes. That was another pleasure hmmmmmm 🥗🍗🥔🍽🍽 and my older daughter probably had pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce and fries🍖🥔🍽 as well as salad as a side dish and beforehand a salad plate🥗 like us. We also drank coffee ☕ like Kiba - banana juice 🥃 and water 🍶 Finally, my older daughter ate an ice cream sundae 🍧🍨. My youngest daughter and I, the mother, had us pack up what we hadn't eaten. And my mom just ate the rest of my food from yesterday 🍽👌. All in all, it was another pleasant lunch with them. Everything is very clean, it looks great and the hospitality was very accommodating. We were there for the first time yesterday. We were immediately greeted warmly, the service was friendly and very attentive. The meals were very tasty! We can absolutely recommend it and would be happy to come back.

The reception was good. On a Tuesday, the winter garden was well attended both inside and outside. Prices are a bit higher, but my Crete platter with gyros and bifteki as well as tzatziki and fried potato slices with knofi was very tasty. The chicken breast baked with Metaxa sauce and cheese was also good. The salad was tasty and the dressing was very rich. We enjoyed the red local wine. All in all, a nice visit.

That was a really great, tasty Greek! WAS! I always ate moussaka, like today. The waiter noticed that I wasn't eating any more and cleared my plate and asked if he should pack it up. I said no, it doesn't taste good. With a shrug of his shoulders and an OK, he walked away. Didn't offer me the card again, didn't offer me anything else. The highlight of the harbor tour was the bill. So I would have happily paid for the three and a half bites, but the full price of almost 20 euros on the bill? WOW! Not only was I looked at really poisonously during the clarification, the waiter's looks were also really disgusting when I left the restaurant. We used to be here very often and fed our wedding party here (2022). Have praised the Syrtaki in Blankenburg to friends and family. It's a shame what has become of this actually great hospitality. We will neither recommend nor visit ourselves in the future.

We were here for the first time today, on the recommendation of a friend, and we were very impressed. The food is very tasty and the portions are more than sufficient. Even the accompanying salad (fresh and crunchy) with the “Mykonos plate” can be described as a starter. Very large and covered terrace, everything was very clean, and and and... Terrible. I have never experienced such bad service. Between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. they managed to bring two drinks and the salad. Then I left. My daughter's cutlery was dirty, and the so-called waiter snatched the menu out of my wife's hand because it was needed. Glasses were dirty, side dishes were forgotten or mixed up, garlic potatoes without garlic, drinks and service were in short supply. Despite asking, I never received my food. The worst restaurant I know. I got up and left. So did my fellow sufferers (14 people).

Occasionally the Syrtaki is overrun by guests, so you have to wait and the service staff find this unpleasant, but when the capacity limit is reached there is nothing you can do. In any case, we understand in such a case and also appreciate the quiet times. In other Greek restaurants you sometimes feel like you're just unpleasant, work-producing guests; But not here: Here you will always experience a very attentive staff! Great! Keep it up!

Service is very bad. Orders were forgotten despite several reminders from the waiter. We didn't get any drinks or we didn't order the wrong ones. Some of the food was cold and the side dishes were missing. It took 1.5 hours until we had our food on the table. An absolute disgrace for the prices.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has declined a lot in recent years! Some of the staff are overwhelmed and seem stressed and unfriendly! Food came one by one after about 70 minutes, and that during the week!! At our request, after repeated requests, a suspicious, unkempt, would-be temporary boss dressed in casual clothes came to whom we wanted to share our observations. This gentleman was rude, aggressive and rude, didn't accept criticism and said there were snack bars in the neighborhood. Sad sad.. There were also various complaints at other tables. Change the management, otherwise it won't work anymore! No recommendation!

The restaurant is unreasonably expensive, does not accept bank cards, there is no ATM nearby, and Sepa transfers are also not accepted. Given the inflated prices, it’s unclear why in the 21st century guys are greedy for a couple of percent of Visa’s commission, if this is not tax evasion at all. The food is delicious.

First the positive, the portions are large, as you would expect from most Greeks. The pork skewer was also very tasty. The gyro was okay. Suzuki didn't say so to me. The fries were soggy and were therefore left lying around. Generally relatively salty (although I like to eat salty) The cola wasn't completely fresh, but still okay. The apple spritzers tasted different and were too watery for our taste.

We visited the restaurant on Friday and it was a truly unforgettable experience! We were welcomed with a complimentary shot of ouzo. The dips are freshly prepared. I recommend the tzatziki and tirokafteri (cheese cream). The aubergine fritters and little cheese pies are also delicious. We ordered lamb and fillet steak which was extremely tender and so tasty. The service is friendly and efficient. Special thanks to the manager, Panos who made the experience extra special. We will definitely go back!

We have been guests there for years and have always been very satisfied. But today's visit was definitely our last. First of all: the food was again very good. But: the service was an absolute disaster. Waiters didn't speak German, so orders couldn't be taken. Aperol totally undrinkable, the complaint revealed that still water was refilled. Other drinks we ordered were forgotten: all around: no service. What a shame!!!! Ps: ouzo wasn't even offered. Even though we made a turnover of almost €200.00...

Have been here a lot and left a lot of money behind. But it got very bad. Overcrowded, overwhelmed staff and very long waiting times for food. The way we deal with critical voices is really bad here. The “boss” can’t handle that at all. Customer service non-existent. We turned to nearby Greek restaurants.

Wir hatten leider keinen schönen Abend! Trotz Bestellung (Geburtstagsessen 7 Personen) wurde man am Tisch in der letzten Ecke beim Klo und Lager plaziert. Nach 30 Minuten kam jemand und nahm die Getränkebestellung auf. Nach weiteren 45 Minuten konnte man das Essen bestellen. Das kam dann allerdings erst als man nach weiteren 70 Minuten mal nachfragte. Auf eine Beschwerde zur dauer bekam nur ein gleichgültiges "ist voll....dann ist das eben so" So einen schlechten Service bei gleichzeitiger Arroganz habe ich noch nie erlebt . Der Laden ist für uns gestorben!!! Danke für nix!

Unfortunately we didn't have a nice evening! Despite ordering (birthday dinner for 7 people) you were seated at the table in the last corner near the toilet and warehouse. After 30 minutes someone came and took the drink order. After another 45 minutes you could order the food. However, that only happened when we asked again after another 70 minutes. When I complained about the duration I only received an indifferent "it's full...then that's just the way it is" I have never experienced such poor service and arrogance at the same time. The store is dead for us!!! Thanks for nothing

Went there for dinner today with a work colleague, our expectations were rather mixed and we were hoping for a solid meal as we didn't find anything else appealing in the area. The first impression was immediately good as we had our first drink on the table about 1 minute after ordering + Uzo shots & after less than 10 minutes our food arrived. The portion was a good size so everyone should be satisfied. It tasted great, the conditions were very attentive and there is no criticism for the price. Only recommended!!!!

First of all, you have to admit that the food and the service are simply great, the taste is excellent and the service is careful and courteous (at least until it comes to paying). Because that's where the problems start. Anyone who has received a debit card from their bank for their current account can never eat there again with a ridiculous explanation from the waiters, as neither credit nor prepaid cards or debit cards are accepted there with the justification "we also have to pay our rent and buy food". Have these waiters already understood that all of the aforementioned cards only run on a credit basis and do not pose a risk to any holder, as they cannot be overdrawn except for overdraft??? The next time I go out to eat there because the food is really great, I will without exception take my Mastercard, eat my fill with my family and then not have any other form of payment with me. I can pay with all cards everywhere, but not here. This is not how you create satisfied regular customers.

The atmosphere in the fairly large restaurant is not particularly Greek. The food was acceptable. The portions are decent.

I should say, the portions here are HUGE! If you want to go out, eat a lot and have fun, then it is a right place. If you intend to have a light dinner, then be careful 😅 the food was overall good, but very saturated and lots of sauce as for me. Otherwise, the atmosphere is nice and personal is very friendly :)

Were there today and got a great place, without a reservation. Our food tasted really delicious. Packing up the leftovers also went without any problems. I was already so full. The staff is very quick. You don't have to wait long for your food.

We were there on a Saturday evening and waited 2 hours for our dishes. The price/performance ratio does not match. Overpriced food and errors in service due to too much hassle from the service. In the end, the incorrect order was still on the invoice and had to be paid for.
