I visited the restaurant in October with friends. Very good food and perfect service. The staff are really professionals.

We go there quite often. The food is really the best of all the Greeks so far. But until now there have always been negative events there. Sometimes we had a stone, sometimes a rubber. Of course, this was also clarified on site. At one point we had what felt like bloody meat because it was way too full and they probably didn't want to take too much time. But recently there have been incidents again: The waiters hardly left us alone. We had just arrived and one of the waiters wanted to take the order, but we had only just received the cards. Good. Can happen. But then he kept coming back. This caused unrest in us and put us under pressure. But the best is yet to come. After the bill, which we paid without a tip, the man said we should tip his team. Tipping is a topic that many people always argue about anyway, but everyone else doesn't get tips in their jobs either. And if the bill is already high anyway... That you really dare to say it so boldly. That wasn't even a question. He asked for it.

Beautiful restaurant inside and out. Fast service, appetizer good. But for the main course I had liver. It was still almost raw, the service was just a pity, and when I paid I also complained that I only tipped one euro. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. I will never visit this restaurant again in the future as there are far better Greek restaurants.

Greek food as you know and expect it, although the long-running favorites here are of very good quality. Gyros seasoned just right, little fat, yet very juicy. Bifteki very juicy, spicy and with grilled aromas. The only downer was the very average salad with bottled French dressing. This would never happen with our Greek neighbors. I would prefer a homemade coleslaw with the gyros and everything would be perfect. The service is very friendly and accommodating.

We have been regular guests at the Greek restaurant Syrtaki in Berlin-Blankenburg for over ten years and really appreciate the team's friendly hospitality, authentic ambience and always impeccable service. The staff are always attentive and courteous, the food is high quality and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a holiday in Greece. Unfortunately, one point has developed very negatively in the last two years: prices. Simple dishes have now become an average of eight euros more expensive, so that a visit for one person can hardly cost less than €40. For families or groups, eating here is now a real luxury and no longer a matter of course, which has meant that we can only go there rarely, at most once a quarter. The quality continues to be impressive, but the pricing has definitely reached a point that keeps us from visiting regularly. If you want to enjoy a great Greek meal, you have to be aware that it will be expensive.

I can particularly recommend the “Meze plate”, which offers a delicious combination of tzatziki, dolmadakia (stuffed grape leaves), saganaki (fried cheese) and crispy calamari - a perfect introduction to the Greek taste experience. For the main course I ordered the “Gyros Souvlaki”. The meat was tender and flavorful, with just the right balance of Mediterranean spices. There were also crispy potatoes and a Greek farmer's salad with feta and olives, which tasted wonderfully fresh and full-bodied. The vegetarian moussaka that my companion chose also impressed with a fine, spicy note and was perfectly seasoned. Finally, of course, a dessert should not be missing: the homemade galaktoboureko (Greek semolina cake) was light, sweet and a crowning conclusion to the evening. A strong Greek coffee was served, which rounded off the meal perfectly. Conclusion The Syrtaki restaurant impresses across the board - from the atmosphere to the warm service to the authentic dishes. Here, everything is cooked and served with love, and as a guest you actually feel like a welcome part of Greek hospitality. Simply mega. We already have a very good Greek restaurant in our hometown, but this one is even better. Whether tzatziki, bifteki or the garlic potatoes... two thumbs up, nothing more is possible.

The food is really tasty, but the price is a bit excessive. If you go by the price, you can say it's an "upscale" restaurant for the location. That's why it's all the more incomprehensible that you can't pay with a credit card (Visa), and the good lady still bluffs you: "That's not possible!" Although I asked the waiter when ordering whether you could pay with a card. There was no mention of only “EC card” being possible. SO points deducted because of: lack of friendliness on the part of the lady, misinformation and a bit exorbitant price... but the food was delicious, especially the fish... so bottom line, a nice evening.

A very good Greek restaurant with a nice atmosphere on the terrace, great for warm summer evenings. The waitresses try very hard but sometimes don't show up at the table for a long time or forget things. For your birthday you get free ice cream that also tastes delicious. Otherwise, the gyros is highly recommended! You can park very well next to the church on the other side of the street for free with a pedestrian crossing. There is also a bus stop right next to it.

It was super crowded, but the waiters were always friendly. Drinks and food were brought quickly. Portions were good-sized. Great selection of different types of dishes. Tastes very good. At the beginning and at the end there was ouzo☺️. Gladly again. The only thing that really bothers me is the smokers outside. You constantly have to breathe in other people's smoke. Maybe 1/2 half could be kept outside as a non-smoking area

We used to love going to “our” Greek in Berlin-Blankenburg often. Among other things because the boss Costa created a friendly and family atmosphere. After a long time we were there again today and are speechless and horrified by the unfriendliness and macho behavior of the new boss. Simply incredible. For example, For example, at our request, we refused to provide a bowl of water for our dogs when it was 34 degrees. When we pointed out that this wasn't very friendly, we were told that we could go somewhere else!!. In addition to a very unfriendly and rough tone, this is just one example. Nevertheless, the restaurant is always very busy. Probably because there is no alternative in Blankenburg. It's a shame. We won't be coming back any time soon.

Ich gehe mit meiner Süßen seit 3 Jahren dort essen und wir wurden bisher nie enttäuscht. Auch zwei Familienfeste haben wir im Syrtaki bereits gefeiert. Es verlief immer zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Die Qualität der Speisen hat uns bisher immer überzeugt. Die Preise sind gestiegen, das ist wahr, aber wo bitteschön nicht. Gerade in der Gastronomie ist der Energieverbrauch immens. Insofern finde ich den Anstieg schmerzhaft, aber akzeptabel. Wir lassen uns davon den Appetit an den leckeren Speisen und die tolle Atmosphäre nicht verderben. Weiter so Syrtaki!!!

Berlin ist ja am Schönsten während der Sommerferien, wenn alle im Urlaub sind, und die Stadt endlich mal atmen kann. Doch es gibt einen Nachteil: leider machen auch viele Gastronomen dann Urlaub. Umso schöner, dass das Syrtaki hier eine löbliche Ausnahme macht und uns auch während der Sommerferien bedient hat. Es war alles sehr gut. Der fair ausgepreiste weisse trockene Landwein hätte allerdings kühler sein können. Direkt vor dem Lokal gibt es auch einen grossen Parkplatz, so dass auch das Parken in diesem wunderbaren Lokal mit XXL Terrasse gar kein Problem ist.

It was initially a nice evening until the bill came... We were a larger group and the ouzo, which was apparently supposed to be on the house and put on the table, had to be paid for afterwards. Sad, considering the amount that has already been paid anyway.

We were there with 10 people for our birthday. Food is huge portions and very expensive. Nobody but a wolverine can do something like that. Smaller portions and 2 euros less would also be realistic. After 2 hours the staff only came to our table to clear the plates. Orders for drinks were ignored and we then went to the counter and ordered ourselves. No usuo came to our table during that time. Neither to the beginning nor to the end. The kindergartens only came upon request. We have known this restaurant for 20 years and it has very, very declined. Of the 10 waiters, 2 were very friendly and the rest were probably in a bad mood.

My older daughter ordered a table from them for three people. On Friday it was 17 degrees and we were able to eat outside with a roof and a warming funnel. We like coming here because the food is so delicious and the salad🥗🥗 is freshly prepared beforehand. My youngest daughter and I ordered baked chicken breast fillet with Metaxer sauce and garlic potatoes. That was another pleasure hmmmmmm 🥗🍗🥔🍽🍽 and my older daughter probably had pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce and fries🍖🥔🍽 as well as salad as a side dish and beforehand a salad plate🥗 like us. We also drank coffee ☕ like Kiba - banana juice 🥃 and water 🍶 Finally, my older daughter ate an ice cream sundae 🍧🍨. My youngest daughter and I, the mother, had us pack up what we hadn't eaten. And my mom just ate the rest of my food from yesterday 🍽👌. All in all, it was another pleasant lunch with them. Everything is very clean, it looks great and the hospitality was very accommodating. The reception was good. On a Tuesday, the winter garden was well attended both inside and outside. Prices are a bit higher, but my Crete platter with gyros and bifteki as well as tzatziki and fried potato slices with knofi was very tasty. The chicken breast baked with Metaxa sauce and cheese was also good. The salad was tasty and the dressing was very rich. We enjoyed the red local wine. All in all, a nice visit.

That was a really great, tasty Greek! WAS! I always ate moussaka, like today. The waiter noticed that I wasn't eating any more and cleared my plate and asked if he should pack it up. I said no, it doesn't taste good. With a shrug of his shoulders and an OK, he walked away. Didn't offer me the card again, didn't offer me anything else. The highlight of the harbor tour was the bill. So I would have happily paid for the three and a half bites, but the full price of almost 20 euros on the bill? WOW! Not only was I looked at really poisonously during the clarification, the waiter's looks were also really disgusting when I left the restaurant. We used to be here very often and fed our wedding party here (2022). Have praised the Syrtaki in Blankenburg to friends and family. It's a shame what has become of this actually great hospitality. We will neither recommend nor visit ourselves in the future.
