Restaurant Syrtaki in Georgsmarienhütte

Four of us were there on a Monday evening. We were all amazed by the quality and quantity of the dishes. Everything tasted excellent. Waiting time was absolutely OK. Prices are absolutely justified due to the large portions! The innkeeper was exactly how you would imagine a Greek host to be. Super! We will come back :)

A culinary trip to Greece! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We loved the restaurant from the start! As soon as you enter, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel like you are in Greece. The friendly service gave us a warm welcome and was very attentive throughout the entire evening. The food was simply fantastic! We started with a selection of starters - everything was freshly prepared and tasted to die for. For my main course I had the souvlaki, which was tender and juicy, while my partner tried the moussaka, which he described as "the best outside of Greece". The portions were generous and the quality of the ingredients was noticeably high. The Greek wine that we were recommended also went perfectly with the food. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, this is the right place for you! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I went there for the first time last Saturday and we haven't eaten so well in a long time. We had the plate for two people, amazing. When she came to the table with fireworks, we were amazed 😊 we were able to use them to feed my in-laws and eat even the next day 😅 The staff is on top of their game and really friendly, the restaurant is also cozy, prices are okay for the amount of food, which is really delicious and at the end the boss came to the table, which we also found very nice. We'd love to come back.

The reception was very friendly and familiar. The family atmosphere continued throughout the evening, the boss was also present and the icing on the cake was a surprise for my birthday :-)) The service and boss were extremely warm and friendly. Every wish was fulfilled immediately. Food/price excellent. Highly recommended to eat there.

Very tasty food. Unfortunately, the waiters are very short, which seems a bit unfriendly. We also had to ask several times for mayo or another drink. In addition, the waiter's movements seemed a bit unstructured: there were a lot of unnecessary movements. I think that somewhat uniform clothing among the waiters could make a big difference.

My favorite Greek for years! The atmosphere is great, you always feel at home. We also really like the new menu. The staff is always in a great mood and very accommodating. All in all TOP!

I can only warmly recommend the Greek restaurant Syrtaki on Hagener Straße in Georgsmarienhütte! The gyros are simply outstanding – perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy. Every bite is a delight! The Greek ambience of the restaurant also adds to a wonderful experience. The loving furnishings and warm hospitality create an inviting atmosphere that invites you to linger. Whether for a relaxed dinner with friends or a romantic dinner for two, Syrtaki is the perfect place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can't wait to enjoy these delicious dishes again!

A beautiful location, breathtaking service, fair prices! Our order was taken quickly and implemented perfectly. The manager was present, which gave our stay a “like at home” atmosphere. One point of criticism, which is more of a matter of taste, is that our meat was on the grill a little too long. But as I said, it's more of a matter of taste. Conclusion: an absolute recommendation for everyone who appreciates Greek cuisine and wants to have a good time. Keep it up!

The service was very awkward... the food was very disappointing but the ambience was quite nice

On Christmas Day we went to this restaurant for dinner with a large group. Unfortunately we didn't go home very satisfied. The starters were very good and gave us hope for a great main course. Unfortunately, most of the group were very disappointed. The meat was partly very dry, the Metaxa and pepper sauce was very boring, the side salad was typically Greek and completely unimaginative. Fries and baked potatoes were the best. A meal was completely forgotten and only brought 25 minutes late, mayo and ketchup only after three requests. One person had ordered a schnitzel, this was a frozen product! An absolute no-go for a restaurant! Unfortunately, the service was also completely overwhelmed, so it was difficult to order new drinks. It's always a mystery to me why restaurants offer their entire menu on peak days like Christmas, Easter, etc., even though they should know that it's almost impossible to keep their guests happy. A reduced map would certainly be a better choice. The atmosphere in the large room was more like a train station and was of course very loud due to the many guests.

There is no need for long texts here. The service is great, the owner is often personally there for the guests. You can easily reserve a table online, but it can also be done quickly over the phone. The food is really good; you'll be happy to come back :-)

First of all, I have to say that the food is great and you get a lot for your money. I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but unfortunately that wasn't possible due to the service. I've eaten there several times and I really like it. Unfortunately, it's more recommended when it's emptier. When it's very busy, the staff seems very overwhelmed. Didn't make some changes to our order and got the wrong beer. Drink a lot, but was very annoying. All in all, very good food and you get a lot of food for the money. Just not recommended when it's full.

Great restaurant.. everything perfect

Was there for the first time yesterday, it was really tasty, great atmosphere, not too dark or too light. It's always busy, we were a fairly large group of 12 people and the bill wasn't what I thought it would be. Really worth a visit. I was told a little tip to make a reservation in advance.

This restaurant absolutely deserves 5 stars plus. The food is always great and the service is always very friendly. Particularly noteworthy is the waiter Edi, who is always courteous and creates a great atmosphere. When he's not there, something is missing in the restaurant.

Shortly before closing time (noon) I stopped here while on a motorcycle tour. I was therefore the only guest in a very tidy and attractively furnished restaurant. I then asked if I could get something to eat, which the very friendly lady took for granted. After what felt like 2 minutes I had my drink and the salad, 10 minutes after ordering I had a really good grilled plate, as you would expect from a Greek. If I'm in the area again when it's opening time, I'll definitely go out to eat again. Thank you for your uncomplicated manner!

Great service from the start. Friendly greeted with 4 adults and 3 children. Free choice of seats with recommendation. Super delicious food. We were here for the first time and come from Dresden and are visiting Hasbergen. Seldom have I experienced something so good. We had dinner with the family on Monday. Children's portion of pasta €3. More than fair and great service! It wasn't my first visit but this service and family-friendly pricing made me want to rate it. So you'll be happy to come back.

We tried this amazing Greek restaurant today and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. We arrived, were able to choose a table, the drinks arrived quickly, the service was super friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and we got free dessert and ouzo. That's why I left a decent tip and we were warmly greeted :) you really can't do anything better. It was a pleasure !

It was terrible, overpriced, had gyros with liver, liver like a shoe sole with tendons, gyros not seasoned. Fries were definitely fried a second time. Brought the wrong beer twice. I didn't want to spoil it for myself, so no photos. But in the end you get a handshake from the boss...

It's been a long time since we were back. Friendly staff, the boss came to the table like before and greeted us. The food was great and plentiful (we had to have the rest packed up) and at the end there was an ouzo special. We will definitely come back 👍😊

We often go to Osnabrück from Dessau to visit friends, and at least once we end up in Syrtaki. It's delicious, light and always beautiful ❤️

Sehr schönes Ambiente und auch die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top, die Portionen sind sehr groß. Also nichts für schlechte Esser! Leider war das Fleisch beim letzten Besuch zu salzig und nicht besonders zart. Alles andere ist Top!

Essen wirklich top Leider etwas Pech gehabt, mit einem Kellner, der uns " übersehen"-+vergessen hat. Das Essen dafür richtig gut! NUR, zum wiederholten Male den Ouzo zum " Ouzo" Teller - Gericht nicht bekommen! Warum heißt er dann so?🤣 Nun, gibt wirklich schlimmeres! Komme gerne wieder

Leider sind wir auf der rechten Seite des Restaurants gewesen, linke Seite empfinde ich persönlich als gemütlicher. Aber ansonsten alles supi, auch wenn das Essen etwas länger gedauert hat.

Super schnell kam das Essen , Service ist top. Es gibt viele Kindergerichte und die Preise sind auch voll in Ordnung ! Parkplätze direkt am Haus !

Leider habe ich das falsche Gericht ausgewählt. Es hat mir gar nicht geschmeckt. Vorspeisen waren okay. Der große Gastraum war ungemütlich und laut. Die Preise waren für die Qualität zu hoch. Der Service war in Ordnung.

Nach der Enttäuschung letze Woche beim neuen Griechen in Oesede, sind wir heute im Restaurant Syrtaki gewesen. Das Essen war um Klassen besser, nur zu viel. Wir haben den Rest mitgenommen für morgen. Auch gab es hier einen Ouzo und Nachtisch vom Haus. Danke an Kostas und seinem Team. Bis bald.

Essen war früher deutsch besser, jetzt leider nicht mehr so gut. Dafür der Service immer wieder sehr freundlich.

Wir sind mit einer Gruppe von neun Personen zum Essen gewesen. Das Personal war freundlich und hat ohne Schwierigkeiten auch Änderungen bei den Gerichten vorgenommen. Getränke und Essen waren zügig auf dem Tisch. Es gibt hier auch runde Tische für 10 Personen. Wir empfanden das als sehr angenehm. Nun zum Essen. Es hat allen gut geschmeckt, die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gebraten und gut gewürzt. Kleine Abzüge für den Beilagesalat. Dafür gab es als Nachtisch vom Haus eine kleine Quarkspeise und einen Ouzo. Warum so wenig Gäste anwesend waren, ist mir etwas schleierhaft, vielleicht liegt es an den gestiegen Preisen die sich aber noch im Rahmen befinden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nettes Restaurant mit verwinkelten gemütlichen, Ecken in denen die Tische stehen. Umfangreiche Speisekarte. Separate Bier und Weinkarte. Netter ,zügiger Service. Hatten Vorspeisen bestellt die auch recht schnell kamen. Das Restaurant war relativ gut besucht. Dennoch hat es mit dem Hauptgang nicht lang gedauert. Nachspeise und Ouzo oder Chefs Spezial ging aufs Haus. Das gibt's auch nicht überall. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend mit leckerem Essen. Bar und Kartenzahlung möglich. Reservierung per Telefon oder Inet . Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden .

Das Essen war so lala, nicht "typical Greek". Taramas aus der Packung und die Saucen aus dem Tütchen. Mengenmäßig unglaublich, reichlich und kaum zu schaffen.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und sind total begeistert! Es war einfach alles nahezu perfekt. Sehr aufmerksames Personal, superschnell. Essen sehr lecker! Wir hatten zu zweit eine Platte für 2 Personen, es war eine riesen Portion! Umbestellen von einzelnen Komponenten war kein Problem. Wir haben erwähnt, dass wir den Rest für die Kinder mitnehmen, da wurde uns noch Nachtisch für die Kinder dazu gepackt :) Welch ein Service!

Wir waren das erste Mal dort und waren begeistert. 2 Kinderteller und eine Olympiaplatte für Zwei . Inkl Getränke keine 25 Euro pro Person. Der Tisch war voll und wir haben es nicht geschafft alles aufzuessen, obwohl es wirklich sehr lecker war. Alle waren wirklich freundlich und zuvorkommend. So gehe ich gerne Essen. Top und wirklich Empfehlenswert

Sehr leckeres Essen. Gehen auf Wünsche ein. Feiern dort gerne Familiengeburtstage. Manchmal dauert es nur etwas nach der ersten Bestellung bis jemand wieder kommt. Aber das ist ja kein Problem. Sonst alle sehr nett. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Es war perfekt, wie jedesmal. Klasse Essen, Riesenportionen, guter Service und außerdem eine schöne Auswahl verschiedener Biere.

We hebben een heerlijke Griekse maaltijd gegeten op het gezellige terras achter het restaurant waar het gezellig druk was (altijd een goed teken). Bifteki en musaka smaakte top. Bediening was erg vriendelijk en snel. Ook de halve liters Weizen waren er erg lekker bij. En dat alles voor een zacht prijsje. Parkeren kon op de parkeerplaats naast het restaurant. Aanrader!

Schon die persönliche Begrüßung war ein sehr schöner Anfang. Trotz des voll gebuchten Restaurants ging der Service recht schnell. Das Essen war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Frühzeitiges Buchen erforderlich.

Aufgrund der tollen Bewertungen hier eingekehrt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sehr freundlich empfangen, kaum Platz genommen kamen schon die Getränke, fast genauso schnell die Vorspeisen und danach das überaus reichhaltige Essen, welches sehr schmackhaft war. Wiedermal waren wir bei Costa und seinem Team zu Gast. Herzlich empfangen fühlten sich unsere Jungs mit ihren Freundinnen und wir sofort wohl. Die Speisen waren wieder sehr geschmackvoll zubereitet, die Portionen wieder reichlich bemessen. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, verlor auch bei einem umgefallenen vollen Bierglas nicht ihre Freundlichkeit. Vom Haus wurde uns ein leckerer kleiner Nachtisch serviert, eine sehr nette Geste. Fazit: Wir kommen immer wieder gerne ins Syrtaki!
