We're not necessarily the ones who often review, but: My husband and I have been eating at Kostas K.'s since the early 2000s and have always received excellent service! We are very satisfied with the food, service/staff, and ambiance, including the old and new renovations and beer garden! My husband has been eating at Syrtaki since the mid-1980s, and my parents and I have enjoyed delicious meals with him and his team for 20 years! We stumbled upon this Greek restaurant by chance a few weeks ago and were already so impressed that we wanted to have another good meal, despite the 50-minute drive with other family. And we hadn't overestimated: the restaurant is stylishly decorated, a mix of cozy tradition and understated interior design. The service is attentive, courteous, and relaxed. We immediately felt welcome. The food isn't inexpensive, but it's definitely worth the price. We ordered a platter for four people, which was enough for two. The presentation, with its small table fireworks, is a highlight in itself. The taste was a true delight, from the salad to the tzatziki and the meat (delightfully served on pita bread); everything was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The baked vegetables with a side salad, fries, and tomato rice were also very popular. The fish platter at the next table also looked fantastic. To finish, we were treated to a small pudding and a shot of schnapps on the house (the slightly sweeter special schnapps was my favorite). All in all, a truly wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back.

This was the best Greek restaurant we've ever been to! The service was top-notch! They were very attentive to our needs and almost anticipated our every need. The food was simply fantastic! I've rarely eaten such a delicious gyro. My wife's lamb was perfect! To finish off, we had a "special." A shot, served warm with a straw. Very tasty and tasted like dessert! Please keep up the good work! We'd love to come back when we're in the area!

We were passing through and decided to stop at the Greek restaurant Syrtaki. I love Greek food at my local Greek restaurant, and I can only say it's 100%. The service, ambiance, and food were absolutely as you'd expect. Highly recommended! The drinks and food were also served very quickly, which is also worth mentioning. We'd be happy to come back.

We stayed at the Tecklenburg Campsite, Grafenstraße 23-25, 49545 Tecklenburg and are very happy to have had such a wonderful time here at the Syrtaki. We will definitely see you again :-)

Great Greek restaurant, very friendly, good quality, insider tip: garlic bread, a special treat from the kitchen for dessert, very tasty, and ouzo to finish. Noise level a bit high due to Father's Day and a boisterous crowd, but otherwise no problems/space for two without a reservation. Recommended.

The visit to the Greek restaurant Syrtaki was a real taste experience! The food was consistently very tasty, especially the meat – wonderfully juicy and grilled to perfection. Good evening, we've been here again for a while now. Very nice shop, nice menu and good food. I only have one point of criticism. After dinner I ordered a tea and it was the Lord Nelson tea from Lidl, 50 bags for 0.99 cents. Selling it for three euros is already very borderline. I think the shop doesn't need that and it's not acceptable for tea drinkers, even if not many people drink tea at Greek places. Maybe think about it

Four of us were there on a Monday evening. We were all amazed by the quality and quantity of the dishes. Everything tasted excellent. Waiting time was absolutely OK. Prices are absolutely justified due to the large portions! The innkeeper was exactly how you would imagine a Greek host to be. Super! We will come back :)

A culinary trip to Greece! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We loved the restaurant from the start! As soon as you enter, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel like you are in Greece. The friendly service gave us a warm welcome and was very attentive throughout the entire evening. The food was simply fantastic! We started with a selection of starters - everything was freshly prepared and tasted to die for. For my main course I had the souvlaki, which was tender and juicy, while my partner tried the moussaka, which he described as "the best outside of Greece". The portions were generous and the quality of the ingredients was noticeably high. The Greek wine that we were recommended also went perfectly with the food. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, this is the right place for you! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I went there for the first time last Saturday and we haven't eaten so well in a long time. We had the plate for two people, amazing. When she came to the table with fireworks, we were amazed 😊 we were able to use them to feed my in-laws and eat even the next day 😅 The staff is on top of their game and really friendly, the restaurant is also cozy, prices are okay for the amount of food, which is really delicious and at the end the boss came to the table, which we also found very nice. We'd love to come back.

Very tasty food. Unfortunately, the waiters are very short, which seems a bit unfriendly. We also had to ask several times for mayo or another drink. In addition, the waiter's movements seemed a bit unstructured: there were a lot of unnecessary movements. I think that somewhat uniform clothing among the waiters could make a big difference.

Whether for a relaxed dinner with friends or a romantic dinner for two, Syrtaki is the perfect place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can't wait to enjoy these delicious dishes again!

A beautiful location, breathtaking service, fair prices! Our order was taken quickly and implemented perfectly. The manager was present, which gave our stay a “like at home” atmosphere. One point of criticism, which is more of a matter of taste, is that our meat was on the grill a little too long. But as I said, it's more of a matter of taste. Conclusion: an absolute recommendation for everyone who appreciates Greek cuisine and wants to have a good time. Keep it up!

On Christmas Day we went to this restaurant for dinner with a large group. Unfortunately we didn't go home very satisfied. The starters were very good and gave us hope for a great main course. Unfortunately, most of the group were very disappointed. The meat was partly very dry, the Metaxa and pepper sauce was very boring, the side salad was typically Greek and completely unimaginative. Fries and baked potatoes were the best. A meal was completely forgotten and only brought 25 minutes late, mayo and ketchup only after three requests. One person had ordered a schnitzel, this was a frozen product! An absolute no-go for a restaurant! Unfortunately, the service was also completely overwhelmed, so it was difficult to order new drinks. It's always a mystery to me why restaurants offer their entire menu on peak days like Christmas, Easter, etc., even though they should know that it's almost impossible to keep their guests happy. A reduced map would certainly be a better choice. The atmosphere in the large room was more like a train station and was of course very loud due to the many guests.

First of all, I have to say that the food is great and you get a lot for your money. I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but unfortunately that wasn't possible due to the service. I've eaten there several times and I really like it. Unfortunately, it's more recommended when it's emptier. When it's very busy, the staff seems very overwhelmed. Didn't make some changes to our order and got the wrong beer. Drink a lot, but was very annoying. All in all, very good food and you get a lot of food for the money. Just not recommended when it's full.

Was there for the first time yesterday, it was really tasty, great atmosphere, not too dark or too light. It's always busy, we were a fairly large group of 12 people and the bill wasn't what I thought it would be. Really worth a visit. I was told a little tip to make a reservation in advance.

This restaurant absolutely deserves 5 stars plus. The food is always great and the service is always very friendly. Particularly noteworthy is the waiter Edi, who is always courteous and creates a great atmosphere. When he's not there, something is missing in the restaurant.

Shortly before closing time (noon) I stopped here while on a motorcycle tour. I was therefore the only guest in a very tidy and attractively furnished restaurant. I then asked if I could get something to eat, which the very friendly lady took for granted. After what felt like 2 minutes I had my drink and the salad, 10 minutes after ordering I had a really good grilled plate, as you would expect from a Greek. If I'm in the area again when it's opening time, I'll definitely go out to eat again. Thank you for your uncomplicated manner!
