A Greek restaurant to fall in love with. We come here very often because we are always amazed by the quality. The food is definitely recommended in every category and the service is also very good. The ambience looks like a normal restaurant. There is still room for improvement here. It's clean and cozy. There is also seating outside to enjoy food in a good atmosphere. Parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. This restaurant is ideal for people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users. We can highly recommend the restaurant.

Friendly, fast team! It's nice to sit in the ambience, which has remained unchanged for 30 years! Otherwise, it's a mystery to me why the food gets so many good reviews. After the grilled plate and the liver, my wife and I were sick for hours. In my opinion, nothing was freshly prepared! The salad certainly comes in a bucket! The meat was totally over-seasoned! The lamb chops were tough and dry! I didn't get full from the grill plate for €20.50, although I'm certainly not a heavy eater. Sorry, in my opinion a gyro plate in any chip shop in the area is more recommended! The food ran after us for hours!

Unfortunately I can't share the good reviews here. Waiting 1.5 hours for a burnt salmon is simply too much. The fact that after complaining, 3 people ask whether the fish was actually dry is extremely unpleasant. The fact that the supposed boss remained at the table for minutes without comment was also unpleasant. The tzatziki was great, but unfortunately the rest wasn't. Souvlaki barely seasoned, gyros cold, fries in the deep fryer for too long. If you want to eat Greek, you've come to the wrong place... Sorry.

Food is really super good. However, sometimes you are “overlooked” after your first drink order, so you really have to draw attention to yourself. Otherwise everything is great and the atmosphere is good.

We love this restaurant and travel a further distance just for it. The food is incredibly tasty and fresh. The meat is perfectly prepared. You can also order the food to take away. The prices are completely fair and good. The portions are large and filling. Recommendation: Try the garlic bread!

I can only recommend eating there.Love is in the air, absolutely loving service, you feel comfortable and you can feel that they do their job very well and with pleasure. The ambience is very nice...pleasantly clean and the tables are placed so that the man can also other guests. We decided to eat outside because we had great weather. We were asked in a charming way from time to time if everything was okay so that as a guest you felt like you were in good hands. Eat on Point..... which was very tasty, very good quality meat, salad as a side dish, fries or foil potatoes, there were 4 people plus a dog, everyone had a different dish and everyone was happy with the food, freshly warm and well presented on the plate. Great location near the castle we will eat there again. Thanks to the entire team. Service kitchen is simply top. Thanks for that

The Symposium, a great Greek restaurant in the middle of Bergisch Gladbach Bensberg. On Schlossstrasse you can sit and dine comfortably in both the beautiful outdoor area and the rustic interior area. The food is great, the quality is always convincing. The service is super friendly, courteous and attentive - the Kölsch or wine glass is never empty for long. Really recommended! 👍🏼 Efcharistó!

We live in Cologne. On public holidays or weekends we sometimes go on a hike through the beautiful Franconian Forest. Then we go to the symposium. We chose the Greek restaurant at random and we were very satisfied The food was very tasty Everything grilled to perfection Service and operation very nice, quick and competent. I come from the catering industry myself. We'll be back and happy.

Vorweg: Speisen und Getränke , der Serivce am Tisch waren in gewohnt guter Qualität. Was uns allerdings verärgert hat war der Empfang... nachdem wir das Lokal betreten, unseren Namen und Reservierung genannt hatten , betraten weitere Gäste das Lokal ... uns ließ man mitten im Raum stehen und kümmerte sich zunächst um die "neuen" Gäste... das ist ein absolutes "NoGo" und hat uns ordentlich den Abend verdorben....

In principle, I am always very enthusiastic about the food. Today I was just there when I was a little hungry and treated myself to the starter of breaded shepherd's cheese. Well the cheese was good and the side salad could have been given as a gift. Dry green salad and a pepperoni. 2 slices of flatbread. Was neither well turned on nor nice in any way. The service was excellent and always friendly. It was my first not so nice experience here.

Wide range, incredibly tasty, huge portions, very nice, helpful staff and open to every wish. Absolutely perfect and recommended for an evening with an outdoor space, a very nice atmosphere and a glass of wine! And it's been that way for many years - great!! TIP: Cold appetizer platter and Poseidon fish platter! The price is totally ok! Parking can sometimes be difficult. Tip: At the district court around the corner.

The grill plate at the Greek restaurant was delicious with perfectly marinated meat and homemade tzatziki. Unfortunately, the fries were a bit too soggy and the honey in the dessert could have been of better quality. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was inviting and the service was excellent, including personal attention from the boss. Overall a pleasant experience with room for improvement.

Okay for gyros and fries, but the rest is not recommended. The grilled dishes are all okay… as you would apparently expect. We also had a saganaki with shrimp and that was a disgrace. Shrimp baked in cream sauce with pizza cheese would have been better. Unfortunately inedible for us. Service is quick but very superficial and not very hospitable. Here too, quantity comes before quality. Ambiance is from the 80s... if you like that.

The service was friendly and quick, the food was tasty, hot and especially the gyros were of good quality and not too greasy; Only some pieces were very salty. The moussaka was good, I would have liked a little more potatoes and eggplant. All in all a nice evening with good food; we will definitely come by again.

Best Greek restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and lots of seats. If you just want something to take away, there is a counter outside. The staff and the boss are always very friendly and accommodating. If possible, special requests are taken into account and the food and wine are always top notch.

Nach ewiger Zeit mal wieder den Imbiss am Fenster ausprobiert. Und ich muss sagen: mega!! Ist mal gleich eine ganze Liga über den anderen griechischen Läden, die ich kenne! Dauert ein bisschen und die Parkplatzsituation ist ein bisschen Glücksache. Aber das Essen ist unschlagbar! Deswegen trotzdem volle Punktzahl!

6 Verbrannte Gyros Pita erhalten zum mitnehmen, wurden reklamiert haben aber wieder Verbrannte Gyros Pita bekommen. Der Pita war Schwarz Leute das ist Krebs erregend!!!! Wir haben 5 Kinder Photos vorhanden.

Kann die guten Rezensionen leider nicht nachvollziehen.. ich fand es enttäuschend. Bei mir hat Preis-Leistung nicht gestimmt, griechischer Salat für 13 Euro, normalerweise kommt da ein ganzer Feta drauf, hier war es (wenn überhaupt) nur die Hälfte, dann noch 3 Oliven und sonst nur "billige" Sachen wie Tomaten, Gurken und so... Auch war es nicht wirklich authentisch, war selbst oft in Griechenland und habe einen Griechen in der Familie, Balsamico hat meiner Erfahrung nach da nichts drauf zu suchen und Paprika hat auch gefehlt... Das Schlimmste aber war, dass unter meinem Stuhl ein Haufen Hundekacke gelegen hat und ich mir damit so richtig schön die Schuhe ruiniert hab. Ekelhaft! 🤮🤮 Leider nicht mal eine Entschuldigung bekommen, auf unsere Beschwerde beim Gehen wurde nur arrogant erwidert, dass sie ja nix dafür könnten, war wohl der Hund von einem Gast, komischerweise waren wir an dem Tag aber die ersten Gäste. Richtig sauber gemacht wurde das Ganze dann auch nicht, waren immer noch Streifen da... Sorry aber das geht gar nicht!! 2 Sterne, weil zumindest der Rest ok war, Essen beim Rest der Familie so 3-4 Sterne, Bedienung war ziemlich aufmerksam

Vor genau einem Jahr durfte ich dieses authentische griechische Restaurant kennen lernen. Ein Jahr, wo jeder Besuch ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus war. Der Service ist immer hervorragend und ein leeres Glas bleibt nie unbemerkt. Selbst ohne Reservierung wird hier immer eine Lösung gesucht und gefunden um einen Platz zum Essen zu finden.

Mit Freunden haben wir das Symposion zum wiederholten Mal besucht. Es passt einfach alles... Tisch reservieren ist ein Muss, guter und freundlicher Service, schnelle Getränke, leckeres Essen und normale Preise! Immer wieder gerne!!

Wir hatten spontan Hunger auf griechisches Essen und wurden angenehm überrascht. Das Lokal ist gut besucht, sehr freundliche Bedienung, Einrichtung gemütlich, aber nicht kitschig überdekoriert. Serviert wird auf geschmackvollem Geschirr und mit ordentlich schneidenden Messern.Typische Speisekarte, wer doch deutsch essen will, findet auch beliebte Schnitzelvariationen. Wir hatten Champion-Rahmschnitzel mir einer sehr rahmigen Sosse und zarte gegrillte Leber unter einem Berg von Röstzwiebeln. Beides sehr lecker und ohne lange Wartezeiten. Lediglich das Dressing auf dem Beilagensalat war nicht so mein Geschmack. Habe auch auch nicht gefragt, ob es anderes gibt. Gute Portionen zu normalen Preisen. Wir gehen wieder hin!

Super Restaurant, trotzdem das wir nicht vorbestellt hatten ,bekamen wir ein Platz sogar mit Rollstuhl. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Sehr gutes Essen, sowie schneller und freundlicher Service zeichnen dieses griechische Restaurant in der Fußgängerzone Bensbergs aus. Parkplätze gab es in der Nähe des Restaurants an der Strasse. Am Wochenende sollte man allerdings einen Tisch vorab reservieren, da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht ist.

Meine Frau hatte Leber, ich Grillteller. Portionen reichlich und schmackhaft. Freunde aßen Lamm Grillhaxe. Es sah sehr gut aus und soll ebenso geschmeckt haben

Ich kann nur für den Strassenverkauf reden. Das Essen (Gyros-Pita) ist echt gut. Ich esse hier seit den 1990er Jahren. Wahrscheinlich haben die Besitzer das ein oder andere Mal gewechselt, was an dem Geschmack aber nichts geändert hat.

Meine alte Rezension habe ich gelöscht. Hatte einen schlechten Tag. Heute ein wunderbares Essen. Wurden freundlich aufgenommen, obwohl die Hölle los war. Tipp: Wenn was schiefläuft, den Chef direkt ansprechen. Er kümmert sich.

Ein perfektes Team, authentisch griechische Küche, das beste Souvlaki was ich je gegessen habe. Auch im größten Trubel freundlich, aufmerksam und super schnell. Gerne wieder.

Geschäftlich vor Ort gewesen und im Symposium zu Mittag gegessen. Als Vorspeise eine sehr gute und sehr heiße Bohnensuppe bekommen. Die war sehr lecker, was aber die 2 Oliven darin sollten, hat sich mir nicht erschlossen. Als Hauptgang aus der Mittagskarte Gyros mit 2 Cevapcici nebst Salat und Pommes als Tellergericht. Die Cevapcici waren hervorragend, das hatte ich so nicht erwartet, Gyros ok, die Pommes leider nur noch lau. Zaziki wurde in einem kleinen Schälchen gereicht und die Portion Zwiebeln hätte für 2 Teller gereicht. Mit einer Cola Zero kostete das ganze glatte 19 Euro. Das ist ein fairer Preis.
