We spontaneously decided to have lunch here today with eight people. After two minutes of rearranging tables and chairs, we had our table. The restaurant was busy, and the staff was quite busy. Nevertheless, the lady who served us was very kind and friendly. She also went out of her way to accommodate our gluten-free requests and create a customized menu. All the dishes were delicious. The pork tenderloin was tender and juicy, as was the sauerbraten, the schnitzel was golden brown, and the pike-perch was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Even though we had to wait a little longer for our food, we felt well taken care of at all times. The prices are about average at the moment, although they no longer match the online menu.

We were there today with a larger group. The restaurant was very busy with other groups. The service was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to special requests. However, we had to wait quite a while for our food and were left with empty glasses for some time. The group behind us (about the same size) ordered after us and received their food before us. Unfortunately, the prices no longer match those on the website. They have increased significantly. I know everything is getting more expensive, but then they need to update their own website accordingly. I had calculated the costs beforehand, so it was, of course, much more expensive than expected. The visible fans directly above the tables in the restaurant desperately need cleaning. However, the food tasted very good, and the portions were very generous.

Rustic and cozy – if that's your thing, this is the place for you. The service is attentive and quick. The food is delicious. I especially liked the smaller portion options, for example: "Small Sauerbraten," two small dumplings, only one slice of meat instead of two, at a significantly reduced price.

The food was just about acceptable, although I found the meat very dry. Unfortunately, the dining room was unappealing. I've never seen so many cobwebs in a restaurant. It was also very cold inside. I can only agree with other disappointed customers.

All these ignorant comments before me made me want to leave an honest, grown-up comment. We were here 3 days in a row, 3 lunches and 2 dinners. Wildmeat was great, the zander fillet was amazing. Service was kind, even though she had to manage the whole restaurant alone. Oversensitive people should eat at home with their fragile feelings, so they don’t ruin other people’s business because of their own weak character.

Finally found a restaurant where you can still get really good food. They even serve a suitable portion for seniors. The restaurant can't be held responsible for the access road, which is sometimes very muddy. The service was quick. You can even make your own ice cream. Everything was friendly and pleasant.

So, for the food and service, I wouldn't give it a star. I waited 56 minutes for the food. It was busy, but two tables arrived 15 minutes later and had their food after 20 minutes. I only had potatoes with scrambled eggs and chanterelle mushrooms, and I still waited 56 minutes. When I asked the waiter about it, there was no apology or, as is typical of a good restaurant, a free drink. Then the food finally arrived, and you can see the photos. As lovely as the location is, based on the service and food, there's no reason to go there again.

Every time I'm in Leipzig, I go there. Usually because of the delicious game selection. I've never disliked it. We read some of the very negative reviews and wanted to see for ourselves. One thing we can say is that our condition was very friendly and attentive. The location is very nice, so it's a shame that the food doesn't live up to it. I ordered loin, but it was overcooked schnitzel...the red cabbage was very sloppy and stretched, and the sauerbraten was dry. The smoked salmon lay carelessly on a wilted lettuce leaf with dry toast underneath. But the extra fried potatoes were good. We were full, but unfortunately, we won't be going back...a real shame.

You sit in the middle of Agra Park, beautifully situated by a pond with water lilies and a few carp and croaking frogs. The service is friendly, the menu is varied, and the food was good, if not plentiful, home-style cooking.

Outdoor seating was only allowed at tables that had a container with cutlery. Unfortunately, these were the tables in the blazing sun. The tables under the parasol were not allowed. After a full hour in the blazing sun, I politely and quietly asked the waitress if she had forgotten our food order. The answers we received, in such a loud tone, were unbelievable. She shouted at us whether we didn't have time or if we had other plans. All the other guests were already shaking their heads at her comments. Then she shouted that she'd already had to wait two hours for a meal. The climax was when she told us, "You can always leave if you don't like it." After an hour, we were obviously hungry and unwilling to look for another restaurant. All the other guests sitting outside were horrified by the waitress's comments. Everyone could hear her, given the volume of the woman's voice. I've never experienced anything like this before. It's a shame about this restaurant, because it's beautifully located. But that's not enough. From what we hear in the area, other guests have had the same experience, and they're now avoiding the restaurant. Despite the staffing shortage, something like this shouldn't happen!

All in all, it's a perfectly fine place to stop for a meal... Nice, quiet location... Prices are still reasonable... Food tastes good...

The restaurant itself is beautiful and in a lovely location, but as soon as you enter, the atmosphere is harsh. The waitress is incredibly rude and treats her guests like they're small children. She also smelled strongly of alcohol, and this was at lunchtime! It felt like being in a prison movie. It's a real shame because the food was plentiful and good, but I won't be going back or recommending it. She complained about her working hours; perhaps she should consider becoming a prison guard. Hats off to the other staff members who were belittled by her in front of the guests.

Ideally, no stars at all. The service was extremely unfriendly, even from the very first greeting. But the worst was the food—ready-made meals from the freezer (pancakes, fish sticks, turkey steak, turkey schnitzel, Camembert). Not even a thank you for the tip. Just absolutely awful. We will never come back. Ideally, no stars.

Everything's pretty dated and dark. Unfortunately, there aren't even any fresh mushrooms for the Jägerschnitzel 😟 The service is forcedly friendly and not particularly pleasant. Not for young people 🙈

My granddaughter ordered schnitzel "Viennese style," but she only got two pieces, and it was anything but Viennese style. The schnitzels looked like they'd been fried in a regular pan. The spaetzle served with the hunter's platter were dried out. The cook needs to put in more effort. The restaurant is in need of renovation. The floor and the woodwork don't look very inviting.

The first one, very annoyed, showed us a seat. The second one didn't want to take our order because the table hadn't been wiped down yet. Both were very listless and frustrated. If you treat your guests like that, it's better to leave your money where you're welcome. They would be wise to review their "friendly" staff.

I've been a guest 1-2 times a year for the last few years and unfortunately I have to write a review after the last experience because the quality of the food has deteriorated over the years. The roll was okay, but unfortunately my friend's dry, partly uncut loin wasn't! The sauces were the same and were ready-made, just like the mushrooms. In the summer the trout was good, two years ago mushrooms were forgotten at the hunting bowl and I then got canned mushrooms. Unfortunately that's not possible...you can do it outside of the location. To be honest, it's a shame how careless the cooking is. The service was way better

My meal - Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes - tasted very good, but the meat could have been more (€19.50), that was just not enough for me. I found the service very strange, so snappy and rude, a bit stressed, they didn't have a smile or a tone. But I thought everything else was good.

I think it's worth reserving a table here in advance, as it was quite full on Saturday afternoon and there were reserved signs on all the tables. The food from the next table looked good. You can definitely sit outside here in the summer, by the small pond. There are hearty dishes, but also ice cream sundaes, cakes and coffee. The employees weren't all that excited about having to work, but okay. Parking is available nearby and you can take a nice walk through the park.

When we took our food order, the waitress was very unfriendly and pointed out to us in a snarky and loud manner that we had to read the menu carefully. We had lost our appetite and we already had ours I ordered beer and paid the hefty price of 5.90 euros and left the place! With this kind of service, you can't recommend the restaurant under any circumstances!!!!

We had ordered a small portion of the dishes on the menu: schnitzel with chanterelles, beef roulade with dumplings and red cabbage, tagliatelle with chanterelles, baked camembert, liver dumpling soup, fish fingers with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, hunter's schnitzel with fried potatoes, etc. and everyone was happy with their food . It's nice to sit outside in the countryside next to the lake and the cuisine is meat-heavy but good. What is absolutely subpar, however, is the politeness of the service. Cheeky tone, stressed for no reason and absolutely rude, 8 people get a single ticket, you are allowed to organize it yourself from neighboring tables and then you get ripped off for it. Moaning sound when you need a moment to look at the map. Felt like I was in the wrong movie. I've never experienced that before.
