Service ist wirklich total freundlich. Wir durften auch nach Absprache am Telefon früher kommen. Essen war auch Super. Highlights waren die Maultaschen und der Salat. Für Vegetarier gibt es Käsespätzle.

Gut bürgerliches Restaurant mit großen Portionen zu moderaten Preisen. Ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze sowie ein Spielbereich für Kinder sind vorhanden. Große Speisekarte mit guter Auswahl. Und eine schöne Außenterrasse. Sehr freundliches und herzliches ♥️ Personal.

Hier wird alles von Grund auf selbst produziert bzw. gekocht, keine Fertigprodukte. Und das schmeckt man. Die leckeren Spargel stammen von einem lokalen Anbieter. Ruhige Terrasse und freundliches Personal.

Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team, dass wir dort essen durften, besonders an Marlene, die uns trotz der fehlenden Akzeptanz ausländischer Karten bezahlen ließ. Reisetipp: Das Restaurant ist hervorragend! Wir hatten einen Wurstsalat, lokale Ravioli und zwei Wildgulaschgerichte – alles war ausgezeichnet. Die Preise waren fair (70 € für alles). Bitte beachten Sie Folgendes: – Es wird kein Englisch gesprochen. Die junge, blonde Marlene spricht zwar etwas, aber bringen Sie am besten einen Übersetzer oder jemanden mit, der Deutsch spricht, wenn Sie bestellen. – Ausländische Kreditkarten werden nicht akzeptiert, nur Bargeld! Ansonsten ist das Restaurant hervorragend, und der Service gibt sich trotz aller Einschränkungen größte Mühe, Touristen entgegenzukommen! Nochmals vielen Dank für das leckere Abendessen!

Der Service ist dort sehr freundlich! Hier bekommt man noch was für sein Geld, sprich man wird satt! Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus genügend vorhanden!

Sehr nettes und kleines Restaurant Unser Kellner war sehr herzlich und das Essen hat super geschmeckt. Wer preiswert und gut bürgerliches Essen sucht ist hier genau richtig.

This was our first time at the Schützenhaus Weissenau, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Beautiful, quiet location, cozy atmosphere, and above all, completely homemade food that you can taste. Everything was fresh, honest, and without any fuss. The service was friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back.

Nice place. Onion roast beef for under €30, wow! The meat was great, but there weren't enough onions, and the spaetzle didn't taste or look homemade. Too bad. Those who were there also had Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) with potato salad, which was delicious.

Last Saturday, we went bowling and dinner at the Schützenhaus with the whole family and had a wonderful evening. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive – we felt welcome from the very beginning. The children were lovingly included and even surprised with small gifts, which made their eyes light up. The food was delicious and fresh, simply a delight! Our dog was also welcome and treated kindly! The bowling alley may be a bit older, but it was still really fun and contributed to the cozy get-together. Conclusion: An all-around successful evening – we'd definitely love to come back!

A truly cozy inn, away from the hustle and bustle. The Swabian cuisine is top-notch – Maultaschen, Spätzle, and the like, just as you'd expect: hearty, homemade, and full of flavor. The portions are generous, so no one goes home hungry. The service is friendly; sometimes it takes a little longer, but you can tell the food is still freshly cooked. If you're looking for authentic Swabian home cooking in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you. I'm only deducting one star because it's quite remote – but that's part of the charm, too.

Supposedly for 120 people, called today and asked if an event for around 80 Polish people could take place, after answering the questions I was asked about what we would like to do, I said that we wanted to eat, drink and party... I would interrupted and I would be told no no and goodbye.

Easily accessible, plenty of parking spaces and an airy, newly furnished outdoor garden. The ambience inside is more like a sports bar. But the always friendly and attentive staff, the good cuisine and the food garnished with attention should be praised.

The Schützenhaus in Mariatal is a popular traditional restaurant and is always worth a visit. The food is very good, plentiful and always very lovingly prepared. The crispy chicken and fresh salads are especially delicious. The service is also definitely worth mentioning, the staff is extremely friendly, patient, hard-working and the boss, Marlene, is a ray of sunshine, a friendly, lovable, young, always well-groomed woman who treats every guest courteously. I'm always happy when I can be there. The restaurant is beautifully situated, almost in the countryside, and has recently had a wonderful, inviting terrace. The atmosphere of the establishment can be predicted already from the name - old, but cozy, no modernity (except for the kitchen, toilets and highway), which, in principle, attracts guests here. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The food matches the style of the establishment - everything is simple, but from the heart. Yes, the dishes are simple, but they are deliciously made and presented beautifully. The portions are not shabby in size - it’s clear that the cook is not greedy 🙂. The beer is delicious, the wines are delicious, the coffee is delicious, I didn’t eat dessert, but they say it’s delicious too. The prices for all this are just ridiculous, as if you flew back ten years into the past. There is plenty of space for children here, a whole field for games (take your ball with you 😉). The playground itself is no frills - a swing, a slide, another swing, and then fantasy (we weren’t bored 😁).

We have been to the Schützenhaus several times and have always been quite satisfied. But this afternoon we were disappointed. Both beef steaks were quite chewy and lukewarm, as was the spaetzle (the herb butter didn't seem to want to melt on the meat in the slightest) and my medium was also a large piece raw. As I was clearing away the waiter asked if I still wanted to eat the piece. My answer, which was too crude for me, was acknowledged without comment. She simply apologized for the long waiting times, which seemed normal to us. The bill didn't take into account the fact that I didn't order any fries and didn't get them either. The prices were not increased and the portions were smaller. Oh, almost completely forgotten, the small side salads, the cola wheat and the apple juice spritzer were delicious, the beautiful outdoor area has been redesigned. We don't know whether we should take the risk of being disappointed again.

Durch Zufall auf dieses kleine alteingesessene Restaurant gestoßen. Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung und ein ruhiges Ambiente sind gute Gründe in diesem Restaurant halt zu machen.

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen und sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Sehr schönes Ambiente und sehr freundliches Personal! Es wurde uns ein Tisch zugewiesen und unser Hund, welchen wir dabei hatten, durfte auch rein. Speisekarten übersichtlich und ausreichend mit Speisen deutscher Küche, gefüllt. Bestellung aufgegeben und zu unseren Staunen, bekam der Vierbeiner eine Schüssel mit Wasser. Wow, was für ein Service! Getränke kamen sofort, danach unsere Bestellung. Ausgezeichnet! Sehr, sehr lecker! Besser geht's nicht. Großes Lob an die Küche und die Bedienungen und den Chef! Vielen Dank für den perfekten Service und den schönen Abend. Auf jeden Fall ist das ein Geheimtipp, wer lecker und günstig essen möchte!

Keine schöne Atmosphäre kommt sich vor als würde man stören...Bedienung desinteressiert saßen vor leeren Gläsern und Tellern .waren insgesamt nur 8 Gäste da....Essen wie im Imbiss nichts besonderes und auch geschmacklich enttäuschend...schade

Der Service war mehr als top die Bedingungen sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen war so weit auch einwandfrei einzig der Karottensalat war etwas zu süß aber das ist zu verschmerzen. Und obwohl das ganze in der Nähe eines Industriegebiets liegt ist die Lage sehr ruhig.

Sehr gutes Restaurant, liegt etwas abgelegen im Mariatal. Wie kommen schon jahrelang und immer wieder sehr gern. Preis, Leistung und Service ist perfekt.

Wir sind nach einem Montag vom Bodensee auf dem Weg nach Hause dort eingekehrt und haben die hausgemachten Maultaschen mit Fleischfüllung auf Kartoffelsalat gegessen. Als Nachtisch gab es heiße Himbeeren auf Vanilleeis. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Die Speisen waren frisch und sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Frisches Bier und eine nette Bedienung haben die Sache abgerundet.

Super leckere maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat

Wir waren zu einer Trauerfeier da. Es wurde extra für die Gesellschaft mittags geöffnet. Es gab für alle das gleiche Essen, es hat geschmeckt und war liebevoll dekoriert. Die Bedienung war freundlich und umsichtig und der Pauschalpreis war wohl überraschend günstig. DasLokal verfügt eine Terrasse, einen kleinen Kinderspielplatz, Kegelbahnen, ausreichend Parkplätze und ist barrierefrei.
