The lady and gentelmen working there were very nice and welcoming. The gentelman knows english. The food was great and the beer nice and cold. The atmosfere is cozy, inside is very warm.

If you love authentic cuisine, this is the place for you. The food is very good and plentiful. No frills. Very friendly service. I love such down-to-earth establishments.

We visited Schmankerl for the first time today. We received a very friendly welcome. We immediately felt welcome. Our food was very good. The cordon bleu was the best I've ever eaten. I think the salad buffet is a great idea. It was also very good. Simply a fantastic restaurant where everything is just right. Thank you for that.

A while ago, we were looking for good, home-style cooking near us and found what we were looking for at Schmankerl. A quaint inn in the heart of Dingolfing. We called spontaneously and reserved a table for five. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome. Our order was promptly taken and forwarded to the kitchen, and we could soon hear the meat being pounded for the schnitzel. The salad is served buffet-style, which we and the kids really enjoyed because you can put together your own. Shortly after, the food arrived, and what can we say? The portions are generous, but equally delicious. The only thing missing from my cordon bley were cranberries, but they were quickly reordered. The schnitzels were authentic and fresh, pan-fried, the fries crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just as they should be. If you're not that hungry, the children's schnitzel is plenty. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Schmankerl.

They served low quality, raw meat. Then as we said goodbye, he put the Gordon Blue back in the oil to fry... the boss brought the food back, dripping with oil. The drinks are watered down...joke. Not to mention that half the company has been suffering from vomiting and diarrhea ever since. I don't recommend it to anyone.

The Schmankerl restaurant in Dingolfing is highly recommended! I was particularly impressed by the schnitzel with fried potatoes – crispy, juicy and simply perfectly prepared. The fried potatoes were fried golden brown and wonderfully seasoned. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere invites you to linger longer. If you're looking for a great meal in a pleasant environment, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

The restaurant is now a bit old, but is still inviting and comfortably furnished. We were here for ABO lunch. The selection of rumors is completely sufficient and there is something for everyone. The pork knuckle and my Wiener-style schnitzel were perfectly prepared. The knuckle with side dishes was a huge portion. With the schnitzel you could get the accompanying salad from the buffet. The service was very nice and quick. The price is unbeatable. Any time. Thank you!

Das Restaurant ist inzwischen schon in die Jahre angekommen trotz allem jedoch sauber und ansprechend. Wir haben hier ABO gegessen und waren rundherum sehr zufrieden. Die Schweinshaxe mit Blaukraut und Kartoffelklöse war lecker und eine riesige Portion. Das Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Kartoffelecken war zart und ebenfalls perfekt zubereitet. Der Service war total nett und sehr flink. Die Preise sind unschlagbar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder l. Vielen Dank!

Great food and a very nice lady at the service.

The delicacy is cozy and rustically furnished inside. What I particularly liked were the hygiene products in the women's toilet. The service that evening was quick and friendly. Unfortunately we only enjoyed the food moderately. You can now take your own salad from the salad buffet. This was significantly better before. I had the Käsespätzle, which unfortunately only tasted a little like cheese but a lot like milk? Unfortunately very thin and not well seasoned. I think the schnitzels are the most frequently ordered and are impressive because of their size. Maybe that's why the main focus is on this.

Here you get very good Bavarian dishes and, above all, mega-large portions. Salad is not one of them, but all meat dishes are delicious and rich 😉

The service was super attentive, the food was really plentiful and everything was perfect in terms of taste and quality. Only the bread dumplings could use a little more parsley - but that's complaining at a high level. We'll definitely come back.

The food and service here are really great! The portions are very huge! My personal favorite is always the large schnitzel. You definitely have to be very hungry. The staff is also very friendly and tries to ensure that you go home as a satisfied guest.

Quaint restaurant, beautiful beer garden in the back and super friendly staff. The food is amazing, tastes great, portions are amazing and the prices are absolutely right. Just don't believe the waiter when she tells you the large Cordon Bleu is a normal portion. The thing is huge and so is the filling. Not a slice of ham, there were 5 layers of it in the steamiest part. There were 3 of the chicken schnitzels and everything melted in your mouth at a top price-performance ratio. Thanks again to the entire team for allowing us to be your guests and for spoiling us so much.

Exceptionally good food at a fair price. Super nice restaurant and lovely beer garden. Not to forget the extremely nice and polite waitresses. I can really only recommend it. And the portions are huge.

Were there after a day in Bayernpark. We ate an amazing onion soup as a starter and the semolina dumpling soup was also very good. Roasts, schnitzels and pizza were good, fresh products... large portions... Service was very friendly, nice beer garden. Keep it up 👍

Rustic, cozy and very home-style food. For some dishes there is a salad buffet, which I think is great. So you can put together your own favorite salad. You get something for your money here and will definitely be full 😄 You don't have to wait long until someone comes to take your drink order. We're always checking attentively to see if we need anything else. You don't sit for long in front of an empty glass like you often do elsewhere at Italians, Greeks, etc... The innkeepers are informal and friendly. I don't understand some people who give bad reviews because they had to wait too long. Firstly, everyone knows these days that it is very difficult to find staff in the catering industry and secondly, that the food is at least freshly prepared if it is not on the table within 10 minutes of being ordered. And what's more, when you go to a pub to eat, you have to take your time with you, it should also be a pleasure and culinary experience and you can have a good time. That's all part of it. If it's a bit louder (we also laughed a lot and loudly), then you have to pick up your food and eat it at home. Some people just always have something to complain about. You have to be happy that restaurants like this still exist. I can only recommend it 👍

Waited almost an hour for the food. And then it came cold, ice cold. Guests who came after us got their food before us.

The food was good so far, unfortunately the crust of the roast pork wasn't crispy. The service person was very nice and the food came very quickly. Unfortunately there isn't that much space in the restaurant so we had to share a table with strangers.

We were 4 adults and had dinner at the restaurant at 5:30 p.m. on a Thursday. It was very cold and therefore uncomfortable in the restaurant. At the table next door there was a group of older men whose conversation and laughter was so extremely loud that a conversation between the four of us was not possible. That's why we left the restaurant immediately after the meal (which, in our opinion, had lost quality) and skipped dessert and other drinks.
