Restaurant Schloss Lehen in Bad Friedrichshall

We had breakfast today, our wedding day. So, we weren't hotel guests. We received a friendly welcome, but unfortunately, that was it. We were almost finished with our breakfast when the entire table was cleared with the words, "She has to get going, the other work is waiting." She's clearing up now. We were still eating! When we wanted to pay, we had a voucher, the lady at the reception told us that she didn't know how to handle it—cash it out—credit—oh yeah, credit doesn't work, she'll definitely get into trouble if she cashes it out. She gave us the remaining money, but she seemed somewhat annoyed and stressed. That wasn't how we had imagined our wedding breakfast. We always felt like it was our fault that the situation was the way it was.

Actually, it's a very nice atmosphere for a cozy dinner on the terrace in front of the castle. The menu is small but delicious - or so we thought... and ended up waiting about 1.5 hours for our food. One server was very attentive, but it almost seemed like she was in the kitchen herself at times. The food wasn't worth the price. The burgers were raw inside. A lot of things aren't adding up here.

Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet my expectations. The scrambled eggs and everything in the warmer were cold. The rolls were too few and not crispy. The plates were not filled. All in all, I can't recommend the breakfast at this price. Too bad.

Nice ambience, service ok, but the food is far from the overall standard. Meat too dry and completely “fried to death”. Starter (soup and carpaccio) was good. The main course, on the other hand, was really bad - a shame.

We celebrated a great wedding here - the highlight, in addition to the delicious food, was the very attentive service. We felt completely comfortable!

Normal activity outside, yawning emptiness inside. When asked for a table: “We are so full that we are only accepting house guests today” Not only do you not win any new guests, you also lose all other opportunities, e.g. requests for conferences or seminars

It was my first time here and I'm annoyed that I wasn't there sooner! From the beginning of the reception to the end, the guests were very courteous. The service is great. The ambience is really nice. The food was also extremely tasty, the portions were generous, so you get something for your money. Big compliment.

Very, very great and unique atmosphere! Everything was great from start to finish. It was immediately noticed that it was my birthday and a glass of champagne was also given as a gift. Rooms very comfortable and large. Authentically furnished, very modern, but harmonious bathroom adapted to the castle. Quiet location, parking space included. Despite Corona, breakfast buffet with clear rules, that's a 1 with a star. Very good starting point for excursions in the area. And it's really worth seeing! Any time.
