I thought the food was fantastic. The hospitality brought the experience to its climax and rounded everything off. I would come back at any time to relive the experience and the feeling.

You are always well served and good service and portions always fill you up, but recently you can no longer reach them by phone and no one answers them even though the shop is open

We sat in the “beer garden” under the plane trees in summer temperatures and enjoyed the best Greek cuisine. Food was delicious! There's just no ouzo on the house here 😔

Today I tried another gyro, which is what they call it around here, but unfortunately it was hardly edible again. Dry, greasy and rancid. You might think it's the old meat from the day before, not re-cut on the skewer. Unfortunately I cannot understand the positive reviews. I miss the gyros from before, delicious and always fresh. Probably not possible around here. I've already done 6 different gyros schnitzers within a 30 km radius. If I were to rate the worst gyros roasters from Düsseldorf, Gladbach, Korschenbroich etc. out of 10, only one here would get a 3. And they would be closed. Update: After replying from the owner, a few things become clear. As you can see in the photo, the meat is only shiny because of the fat, not because it is fresh and juicy.

The Santorini in Mesum is definitely impressive. The atmosphere is very nice, tidy and inviting. The staff is very warm and friendly. What I personally think is nice is that hardly anything here seems to come from a can. The coleslaw is (pretty sure) homemade and tastes great, as does the tzatziki. Only at the salad bar are there some dishes that, in my opinion, could have been fresher. But I'm quite meticulous. All in all there is nothing to complain about. The main courses are what you would call sumptuous - pretty much everyone will be fed up here! My personal favorite is the Metaxa sauce or the gyros with Metaxa sauce. We've been here twice already. Last time the food was a little saltier than usual, which, all in all, was a shame given the large portions, but it doesn't influence our opinion that we would like to come back. The prices (around €45 for 2 dishes + 1 children's dish) are in my opinion. justified as this is a really good restaurant. And by the way, our food was ready after less than 15 minutes - that's impressive!

Very friendly staff and the food was great. The waitresses regularly come and ask if everything is ok. We keep coming back. Oh well, it's better to make a reservation because the restaurant is very busy due to its quality and friendliness. It's also nice to sit outside in the summer.

We were there spontaneously, on our bikes. On May 14, 2024. The beer garden is really relaxed. The service was very friendly and the food was great. A very large portion for the price. All in all great. Keep it up

We were just there for dinner. Super tasty, good portions and a very great staff. Not intrusive, but always there if you wanted to order something. Not a long wait. We would definitely like to come back.

The food tasted really good but the portions (a large gyro plate for me) were unfortunately far too small. A grown man won't get enough of it!

Erstes Mal dort gewesen. Telefonisch reserviert. Am Telefon sehr nett und freundlich. Als wir ankamen sehr freundlich empfangen worden und sofort einen Tisch bekommen . Essen 1A und Personal den ganzen Abend ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und sehr freundlich. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Ein gelungener Abend. Kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder. Einfach ein nettes Team. Glg

Essen ist sehr gut, die Bedienung ist richtig nett und immer für ein spaß zu haben. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Ich werde da auf jeden fall wieder mal essen gehen.

Es ist immer wieder eine Freude hier zu Speisen und sich als Gast wohlzufühlen.

Wir könnten endlich mal wieder draußen sitzen. Dort schmeckt das leckere und reichhaltige Essen doppelt gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und lustig.

Wenn es einen Griechen gibt, den wir empfehlen, dann diesen! Das Essen ist super und auch der Service ist toll. Es muss definitiv Wochen vorher ein Tisch reserviert werden. Sonst kaum Chancen auf gut Glück einen Tisch zu bekommen. Wir kommen immer wieder, weil es uns schmeckt und wir uns wirklich wohl fühlen. Die Preise wurden angezogen, trotzdem immer noch vollkommen ok! Gutes Essen hat seinen Preis. Absolutes muss !

So gutes Essen , kommen immer wieder gerne dort hin . Super nettes Personal und wunderschön draußen zu sitzen, wenn es das Wetter zulässt.

Wir waren schon ein paar Jahre nicht mehr da, wussten aber das es hier sehr gut schmeckt u bekamen jetzt einen Gutschein von Freunden geschenkt. Ich muss sagen gerade im Sommer ist es hier sehr entspannt wenn man mit Kindern kommt. Es gibt draußen eine Wiese mit Schaukel u Fussballtor und man sitzt quasi in unmittelbarer Nähe zu seinen spielenden Kids wenn man möchte. Na klar kann man auch etwas abseits sitzen falls man nicht mit Kindern kommt. Es soll ja Leute geben die es störend empfinden wenn Kinder spielen. Essen war wie immer reichlich u lecker. Service auch top, lediglich 1 Punkt weniger weil wir explizit nach Oliven u Pepperoni nachgefragt haben (nach unserer Bestellung weil wir die Nachbarn mit sowas gesehen haben) und man verwies uns auf das Salatbuffet welches wie ja im Menu mit drin hatten und dort gab es aber keine Oliven und Pepperoni. Sonst sind wir wirklich zufrieden. Qualität ist gut und die Leute sehr nett. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Ach so wir waren 2 Erw 1 Kind , hatten zudem ne Vorspeise u 2 Weizen plus Wasser. Knapp über 80 Euro fanden wir jetzt angemessen für 2 Erw Menus Vorspeise u 1 Kids Menu mit Getränken.

Hatte heute das Lamm, geschmacklich sehr lecker. Für meinen Gaumen hätten dort noch eins, zwei Stücke Lamm mehr sein dürfen. Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Draußen sitzen - fantastisch. Diesmal Leber, auch sehr gut.

Sehr zu empfehlen, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Sehr leckeres Essen, freundlicher und kompetenter Service. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, da es sehr laut war in dem Raum. Ihm fehlt leider jedwede Unterteilung, die ihn intimer und leiser machen würde. Kommen trotzdem gerne wieder!

Das Essen war sehr gut.Der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut und war auch für einen Lacher zu haben. Im großen und ganzen kann ich das Lokal sehr empfehlen. Ich hoffe meine Erfahrung hilft ihnen sich mit guten Gewissen in ein sehr gutes Griechisches Lokal zu begeben.
