Restaurant Rado in Essen

It's always nice to go to the local shop, and I've never had any problems with deliveries. However, the last time I ordered, the kebab was ice cold, the drink was forgotten, and the fries were completely inedible and sometimes even undercooked. It's a real shame, and the quality isn't what you'd expect.

Had dinner there today. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Beer was warm and not carbonated. The cola (if it was cola) was also non-carbonated. Rum steak medium was almost done. The salad was a joke, a slice of cucumber, a tomato, a few carrots, lettuce and cabbage. Dressing from the bottle. Foil potato tastes like it's ready from Aldi. Pork medallion very tough. Atmosphere very loud, innkeeper and service very reserved. Not unfriendly but not very nice either. But prices like in a 3 star restaurant. Once and never again. If you're happy to pay a lot of money for bad food, this is the place for you.

The service was nice and friendly. The food wasn't that great... Due to a lack of vegetarian options, I ordered a baked Camembert. Unfortunately, it had been soaking in stale fryer grease for too long...

Cool location. The menu matches the ambience and offers everything you would expect in a diner. Everything we had was delicious and plentiful.
