After the renovation it was even better than it was before. When you read it, the menu promises the finest Mediterranean cuisine, which is delivered on the finest level of enjoyment when served. We would like to experience this pleasure more often in the future. Definitely keep it up!!!!

The change in concept and adjusted opening times are very regrettable. Very shortened menu at overpriced prices, food is ok but nothing special. No longer worth the great reputation the restaurant has built up over the last few decades.

A new name and a new gastronomic concept. The Postillon, with a focus on fried and grilled food, became the Postino. Together with the new chef Sebastiano, who moved to Tostedt from the renowned Coast by East in Hamburg's Hafencity, the owners have decided to now focus on Italian cuisine. The menu has already been redesigned with great attention to detail and the content has been changed. Bruschetta at its best. The pizza is the way I like it, thin and crispy. The Penne all' Arrabiatta has just the right level of spiciness. Often it's more like penne in tomato sauce, which makes you wonder where the arrabiatta has gone. Not so here, these Penne all' Arrabiatta live up to their name. The gourmet plate comes from the Postillon and is still delicious. However, a blessed appetite is a prerequisite to cope with this portion. Unfortunately, the Wiener Schnitzel is only made from chicken. Personally, I think veal, as it corresponds to the original recipe, or at least pork, would be much better. The unbeatable highlight of the evening were the dessert variations. Simply fantastic. A big thank you to the kitchen crew for this.

I've always enjoyed staying at the Postillon, but the change of name and apparent ownership didn't change anything for the better for me after my first visit. The team was obviously overwhelmed. We waited 45 minutes for drinks and over an hour for food. According to his own statement, bread with dip was forgotten in advance. The prices have also increased massively - the food was ok, but didn't justify such a price increase. You can no longer find cocktails on the menu. Maybe this will all work out a bit, but after my experience I would no longer recommend the new Postio - it's a shame!

We were here for the first time and were unfortunately disappointed. The outside terrace is great and it's cozy. What disappointed us, however, was the food and the prices. I find €17.90 for a vegan burger with no frills and only (comparatively) a few fries cheeky. For the money, the whole thing could have been served nicer, for example with a salad. The vegan patty was bland. Unfortunately, the vegan burger is the only vegan dish on the menu. I think you can expand this a bit with a few more dishes. I can't say anything about vegetarian dishes, unfortunately I didn't pay attention to them. You also have to pay €15.90 for a normal cheeseburger and that is not justified if it is put together and served just as carelessly as the vegan burger. I also noticed with the vegan burger that the lettuce leaf wasn't washed properly. You could see that there was actually still a little bit of earth left there. I ate it because I don't do it that way, but it still didn't have to be that way. This also shows how things are going in the kitchen. The only positive thing is the service; The service was very nice and tried hard despite the large number of customers. We won't be coming back again.

Sehr schöner Wintergarten mit viel Licht. Exzellenter Service. Der Buntbarsch vom Mittagstisch war heiss und kross gebraten. Er harmonierte gut mit Rotkohl und Sosse. Das Steiger Schwarzbier sehr süffig

Meat far dry and poorly seasoned. At home I can do it 100x better and for less money. People just seem to ignore the bad reviews because nothing changes.

Our regular restaurant, we have enjoyed going here for years. The service is excellent and the ambience is enhanced by the beautiful winter garden. We highly recommend the Postillion.

We came on a quiet weekday and got a cozy table for four. We are not locals and were invited to eat here by my mother. The prices are common elsewhere, the service was nice and special requests such as fried potatoes with fish were fulfilled. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that our food was served almost at the same time, the beef steaks were fried to medium rare + medium and were pleasantly crispy on the outside. The taste was intense and juicy and there was absolutely no need for sauce. The portions were plentiful and barely or not at all possible for us to manage. The baked potatoes were also delicious and my mother always praised the fish. We were very satisfied. In retrospect, I would have liked to have been offered freshly ground pepper with a pepper mill, but I am almost certain that this would have been possible if I had asked. We recommend!

The food tastes good, as a vegetarian you can still find a little something, but I think the vegan selection is a dish. The prices are quite high and I was rarely full.

War ein Weihnachtsessen mir der Familie. Sehr schön. Es wurden auch Extrawünsche gewährt.

Wir haben es ein paar mal probiert, ist einfach nur lieblos und es fehlten teilweise Zutaten die aufgelistet werden. Vier Gäste weniger für 1,50€!

Wir waren das erste Mal da und waren begeistert 😄 Das Essen schmeckte sehr lecker und kam sehr schnell, flotte und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Dankeschön wir kommen wieder ☺️

Erstes und letztes mal da gewesen. Radler war schal und nicht gerade kalt. Backkartoffel, Gemüse und sogar die sour Cream hatten garkeinen Geschmack. Service nicht existent, nach den Essen bringen wurde micht gefragt ob alles gut ist oder man nochmal etwas braucht, obwohl wir gerne nich was zu trinken gehabt hätten... Und die Preise sind ja regelrecht frech... also ganz ehrlich. Einzig die Location ist ganz nett.

Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, das war es aber auch schon. Hier stimmt Preis/Leistung gar nicht! Die Preise sind im Hinblick für das was einem geboten wird viel zu teuer: • essen war sehr Basic und dabei noch extrem fad (unsere Kartoffeln hatten gar keinen Geschmack, sour cream hat wie billig, fertig Creme geschmeckt und das Gemüse war gar nicht gewürzt) • Auswahl an Gerichten eher Imbiss Standard und Portionen nicht groß (Standardgerichte, die aber lieblos serviert werden, da erwarte ich für den Preis mehr - entweder von der Portion oder der Darstellung) • Service ist quasi nicht vorhanden (wir mussten fragen, ob wir bestellen können und auch ob wir zahlen können, gefragt ob alles ok ist oder wir noch was brauchen wurde nicht) • Personal wirkt zudem lustlos (gar keine Freundlichkeit und man fühlt sich als würde man stören) Für den Preis kann man im andere, deutlich schönere und bessere Lokale gehen oder im vergleichbaren Lokalen für deutlich weniger Geld essen gehen.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit einer umfangreichen Speisekarte. Da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und die Kinder dürfen Kinder sei.

Leider wird das Essen seit Jahren immer weniger gut und die Qualität schwankt häufig von sehr gut zu gar nicht gut… wir probieren es häufig aus, seit Corona meist zum Abholen, aber leider wird es nicht besser. Die Mitarbeiter sind meist sehr nett und vor Ort die Location ist auch sehr schön, aber das Essen ist leider nur noch ein durchschnittliches ok! Außerdem wird die Auswahl an Beilagen auch immer kleiner und es gibt kaum noch vegetarisches und Gemüse zur Auswahl. P.S. Beim letzten Mal hatten wir Pommes als Beilage, ich habe noch nie so schlechte Pommes gehabt… die waren nicht mal durch!

Gemütliches Restaurant mit guter Auswahl auf der Karte. Pizza, Pasta, Salate, Grillteller....Wer da nichts für seinen Geschmack findet....Wir hatten die Platte für zwei Personen. Uns hat es gut geschmeckt. Das Fleisch war super, das Gemüse auch. Die Kroketten und die Bratkartoffeln hätten etwas knuspriger sein können. Dazu gab es einen kleinen Krautsalat und drei verschiedene Saucen.

Postillion top Adresse! Das Essen hatte sehr gute Qualität, hat hervorragend geschmeckt und war sehr schön angerichtet. Der Service war aufmerksam und schnell. Die Preise waren im Verhältnis zur Qualität niedrig. Aus meiner Sicht für jeden ein Must See in Tostedt! Immer wieder gerne!

Gemütliches Restaurant. Personal ist freundlich und schnell. Essen stand in 17min auf dem Tisch. Sehr gut zubereitet und wirklich frisch und lecker. Es gibt einen Mittagstisch. Für unter 10€ bekommt man hier wirklich leckere Fleisch und Fischspeisen

Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Leckeres Essen für jedermann was dabei. Tische bekommt man auch ohne Vorbestellung. Die Küche ist schnell und man muss auch bei vollem Lokal nicht lange warten. Das Ambiente könnte mal aufgefrischt werden, ansonsten Top-Lokal, wo man gerne hingeht.

Update 08.12.2022: Wir waren jetzt zweimal wieder zum altbewährten Mittagstisch. Es ist genau so lecker und auch wieder persönlicher wie vor Corona und meiner letzten Rezension. Wir werden - vorausgesetzt es bleibt so - immer gern wiederkommen. Ich muss meine gute untenstehende Rezension leider korrigieren: Wir waren immer wieder mal dort aber leider ist es nicht mehr so wie es mal war, nämlich persönlich! Von der Familie sieht man niemanden mehr, es sind immer unterschiedliche Mitarbeiter dort, die Internetseiten (Website, Facebook) werden nicht laufend gepflegt, bei gravierenden Beschwerden wie z.B. Käfer im Cocktail-Eiswürfel kommt nicht mal eine Entschuldigung und ein neues Getränk sondern nur Schulterzucken, d a s g e h t g a r n i c h t! Wir waren 10 Jahre als Stammkunden dort oft Essen und haben Familienfeiern dort gemacht oder sind abends einfach nur mal zum Cocktail trinken dagewesen, aber seit gut einem Jahr nicht mehr. Sollte es sich wieder zum Positiven ändern und der Mittagstisch kehrt zurück und es wird ein bisschen am Kundenservice gearbeitet, kommen wir gern wieder. "Waren am Pfingstsonntag abends nur mal so zum Cocktail trinken da, "unter Palmen" gesessen und das schöne Wetter genossen. Dazu kommt dann noch der super nette Service aller Mitarbeiter. Immer wieder wird man überrascht mit Neuerungen, die mir bisher immer ganz gut gefallen haben, z.B. beim PinaColada der Becher in Kokosnussform. Weiter so, wir kommen immer wieder gern auch zum Mittagstisch oder zu Familienfeiern."

Mütavazi bir aile restaurantı. Mükemmel bir atmosfer. Şahsen ben kendilerine Türkiye'den yük getirdim. İnsalıkları yaklaşımları çok iyiydi. İşim bitince bana hazırlamış olduğu yiyecekler süperdi tadına doyamadım. Ellerine sağlık.

Haben das 250g Rumpsteak mit Salat,Bratkartoffeln, Knoblauchbaguette gegessen. Super angerichtet. Lecker 😋. 24,90 Euro,PREIS, Leistung echt in Ordnung. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Es war sehr kalt dort. Das Essen war okay, aber mehr auch nicht. Recht fade im Geschmack und nicht so wie auf der Karte. Vom Service her, war es schwierig, wenn man noch etwas bestellen wollte, bis die Bedienung mal aufmerksam wurde und reagierte. Ich würde nicht unbedingt nochmal dort einkehren.

Freundlich, zuvorkommend, absolut toller Geschmack (Tochter -wie wir alle - schwärmt immer noch). Unschlagbares Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren nach Internetsuche da nur kurz in der Gegend da und voll begeistert. Ein Lob an die Küche und das gesamte Personal - unsere Empfehlung habt ihr uneingeschränkt!

ob zum mittagstisch, zur abendzeit, oder gar nur für nen kurzen abstecher für nen feierabend bier, hier ist man immer gern gesehener gast

Eine vielfältige Auswahl lässt fast keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt auch einen sehr preiswerten Mittagstisch! Einige Gerichte fand ich persönlich etwas merkwürdig, z.B. Cevapcici kenne ich korrekt nur mit Rindfleisch. Hier wird mit Schweinefleisch bereitet! Steak oder Spargel würde ich hier nicht essen. Das können andere besser. Insgesamt bekommt man hier aber gutes Essen zu einem guten Preis. Wir mögen auch die Atmosphäre im Postillion. Gerne kommen wir immer mal wieder hier her.

Hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen. Tiefkühlkost (Fisch und Gemüse) hat NICHTS in einem guten Restaurant verloren.
