The BEST Greek restaurant in Osnabrück! Outstanding quality and great service. We've been coming here for years and always enjoy it.

I ate there for the first time and had reserved a table in advance. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food came quickly and was all still warm and very tasty. I had a bifteki. The fries were great and hot. The gyro was very tasty. I can recommend the restaurant and will be back.

I had asked to be able to take the uneaten portion of gyro meat with me. The Styrofoam box I received didn't even contain half of the portion that was there before. The response to my complaint was completely inadequate. My last visit to the restaurant. It's a shame, the food wasn't bad.

Gyros to go for €20 – a price that seems more fantasy than reality. A dollop of tzatziki, a touch of tomato rice, a maximum of 30% gyros and lots of fries - as filling material. Lettuce? A touch of dressing, no tomatoes, cucumbers or peppers - a green joke. Material value: maybe €1.50. Thank you so much for this lesson in creative pricing, but I'll pass!

I didn't like it here very much, I was sitting very close together with a lot of other guests and it was very loud. We were forgotten during the Ouzo welcome round, when we mentioned this when paying there was another round and two orders were not brought. The service staff was otherwise nice. I liked the food, especially the gyros. There were enough free parking spaces available.

It was a beautiful evening. We'll be back in 3 weeks.

Everything is perfect, the food is very well prepared and delicious, I ate galaktobourek which was simply perfect. Kudos to the chef and of course all the staff. I will definitely visit it soon.

We ate here at Christmas and ordered a grilled plate, we didn't like the meat, it was a little tough and unfortunately it wasn't as special as described in the reviews.

I've eaten delicious food here so many times, but never rated it. This time again completely satisfied. Keep it up ;)

For us the best Greek in Osnabrück. Have been there for over 20 years. A beautiful, large beer garden in summer and an attractive, cozy atmosphere with large window fronts and a beautiful view during the rest of the season. A large/varied menu. The dishes themselves taste good to very good to us. A (really) large parking lot right in front of the restaurant. Often fully booked, especially on weekends, which makes early reservations advisable. The service is always friendly and accommodating. We tolerate 100% of our 100% tolerance for inadequacies that occur occasionally/rarely at peak times, as the staffing situation in the hospitality industry is notoriously difficult, we are all only human and each of us only has a maximum of 2 arms and legs. Personally, I don't think the lack of the option to pay by credit card is a problem, as the credit card companies also want to be paid and thereby force the restaurateurs to set prices higher. I can therefore also pay with a Girocard without any problems. For the rest (= credit card payers), an easy-to-read notice on the entrance door might be helpful. (It is already available on the homepage/website.)

My top Greek in OS! Today we were in Hellern and picked something up. Quickly chose 2 dishes and saw and smelled the delicious plates from the other guests. To tide us over, we ordered 2 Alster and 2 Ouzo were added upon delivery. 👌🏼 We had a nice conversation when my wife reported that she was suffering from hunger. 😁 The food came quickly, but to our surprise only the food was charged, which triggered the tipping reflex in us. Always nice at Poseidon. 🤩 My wife had a fantastic gyros in Metaxa sauce and my moussaka was definitely one of the best I've ever eaten! Both are just under €20 each. Both also came with a delicious salad. I was thrilled with the taste of the kidney beans. I never knew them to be so delicious before. Thank you, I've rarely had such a delicious souvenir. Pictures are canceled, we were too hungry and it was simply too tasty. Service: feel-good factor really high! Price: good, but not cheap Quality: everything fresh and damn tasty!

Unfortunately we were totally disappointed with the service...we waited 1 hour for the food...then out of 4 people who ordered food only 3 came at the same time...we had to wait another few minutes for the last meal... Payment process catastrophe...Told 3 waiters that we wanted to pay...the 4th waiter gave us the tip to go to the counter...but there was already a long line there... Food was good...

Very good !! Owner-run Greek restaurant. Very friendly, attentive staff. The food, I had the lamb fillets, grilled to perfection. A chef/grill master with years of experience. The side dishes and starters are homemade. So no tzatziki from the bucket. Eggplant salad and taramosalata definitely homemade. We got garlic bread and homemade spinach pita on the house. A very successful lunch!

I have been a frequent guest at Poseidon for years with great enthusiasm. The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food is excellent. Everything is very tasty, fresh and cooked to perfection. The price-performance ratio is also fair. If you want to get a place, you should definitely reserve in advance. I always enjoy coming back there with friends. We felt very welcome and in good hands again today.

The food is very tasty and even though it was full, the food was served in the usual time as usual. All employees are friendly. But without a reservation you don't have to try it or you're just lucky that a table is available. So don't be disappointed that you don't get a table.

I was there on my bike at lunchtime. Very well-kept restaurant with great staff, good service. There is a lunch menu and also the normal menu. The normal prices are a little higher than at other Greeks but the lunch menu gives you a grilled plate with fries and salad for 14 euros. This is fair. The gyro was crispy and spicy, the minced steak with a clear herbal note. The fries are crispy and the salad is varied. Well tapped Veltins on tap and quickly brought to the table. The beer garden is great, the venue is clean and renovated. All in all a very nice place with pleasant staff. Epharisto!

The food and ambience is good. If you want to pay you are told quite briskly, almost unfriendly, that credit cards are not accepted. You can either have the option deactivated or take the fees into account, but that's not possible.

Despite the size, there were enough employees in the restaurant, they were all particularly friendly and very attentive. When it came to drinks, people always asked in good time whether they could have something else - just the way they wanted it. The food was very very tasty and the portion size was very good. We'd love to come back. Absolute recommendation!

The service was very friendly and the food was typically Greek, as you would expect. The fried anchovies and the gyros tasted good, the main course was just, as is often the case, too much. A little less would have been enough. The wine didn't really impress me.

Yesterday wasn't our first time in the restaurant. As always, we were very satisfied, everything was fine, I agree with the positive impression. What surprised us positively was that the prices didn't rise as much as in other restaurants, so everything was perfect and we're already looking forward to our next visit
