Beautiful place. The food is excellent. Before the main meal, you eat a salad and drink their traditional drink. Everyone is very kind, and almost everyone speaks English. The two of us spent 85 euros, but we were full. The bathroom is very clean, that's one of the first things I look for.

The food is reasonably priced on weekdays. Weekends, however, are far, far too expensive for this type of cuisine. As an expert, I consider the calculation to be incomprehensible. With a surcharge of around 350 percent, the price is actually outrageous. Here you are riding the wave of general price increases and the increase in VAT. It's a shame, we'll see whether customers put up with it.

I've been going to Poseidon in Raubling for 20 years. From now on no more. Unfortunately the food is now just bad. There are e.g. no more garlic breads. If you ask the waiter, that would be too much work. Hey, what kind of statement is that? Then garlic. Yes, where is he? No one left in there. Nowhere. Ned Mal in the Tzatziki. Gyros was dry, and for 18.50 I expected a little bit of what was on the plate. Had vegetables with baby calamari and gyros. There were only 3 of the calamari on the plate. A small handful of vegetables and a bit of gyros. Again, 18.50. That's okay Ned. Sorry Poseidon, really sad for you. You were my favorite Greek. We had a lot of parties with you. Unfortunately now I have to look for a new one. A pity.

In principle we really enjoyed ordering from Poseidon. Unfortunately, the quality of food to be picked up has decreased significantly in relation to the price development. Therefore, my request: If salad is offered as an addition to the meal, it would be nice if it does not consist of swept-up leftovers with rotten lettuce leaves. Unfortunately, this has always been the case in the last 4 orders. - Then it's better not to have a salad and you'll be fine. This spoils the enjoyment of the actual dish for people who do not belong to the throwaway society. The dish used to be served with a delicious garlic baguette. Nowadays you can get old farmer's bread with your Greek dish... I don't understand the idea behind it unless you want to reduce existing customers. Please: Either for the existing price the same quality as when ordering in the restaurant or rather eliminate the salad and bread and offer a discount for ordering away from home. Otherwise we really like the food, but that's just not possible for a restaurant with this reputation!

Disappointed with the fish platter for 45 euros - breaded fish and breaded squid that could not be chewed.

The food has always been great, I usually take one of the grill plates, the staff is very attentive and very nice. We also always look forward to the encores (ouzo and a small drink at the end). The price is cheap and reasonable for the bid (of course the prices have also increased in these restaurants, but where haven't they).

Service was quick and friendly, food for 3 people was only lukewarm and blandly seasoned. Tzatziki a mini dollop on the plate. Rice and fries can just be found on the plate. Miniminimini.....

We reserved a table for five people the day before our visit and were at the restaurant at 1730 in the afternoon, right after it opened. We were served very quickly and very friendly. The starters came quickly and immediately afterwards the main course. The food was really excellent. None of us had anything to complain about. This was definitely not the last visit here.

Das übliche Gyros mit Zaziki o.ä. kann man hier essen. Habe ich auch schon öfters. Und ist o.k. Weshalb ich auch mal was Anderes essen wollte - z.B. Moussaka. Dieses lauwarme Convenience-Erlebnis mit mehr Eierstich als Hackfleischsoße und verschwindend wenig Gemüse - das werde ich mir in Zukunft sparen. Schade, dass es in der gesamten Rosenheimer Region m.E. nicht einen einzigen Griechen gibt, der ein würdiger Restaurantvertreter seines Landes ist. Muss man denn wirklich jedes Mal nach München fahren zur Taverna Paros, in der Kirchenstrasse 27?

There were three of us there today and we had reserved in advance. This is also recommended because it was fully occupied. We were absolutely thrilled by the friendly and attentive service. Every single service employee was friendly and obliging; we were served by at least three people. It was exactly the right mix between attentive, friendly, good advice and speed. The food was very good and plentiful and of very good quality. The advice on dessert also helped us a lot, as we were surprised by a daily dessert with fresh ingredients and excellent workmanship. Thank you very much for a thoroughly enjoyable evening, we are already looking forward to the next time!

Der Service ist sprichwörtlich ohne Worte - die Bedürfnisse der Kunden werden erkannt, noch ehe sie ausgesprochen sind. Wir waren heute am Sonntag zum Mittagessen mit der Familie zum letzten mal da das Essen war unter aller Sau wenn man das sagen darf das Grill Gemüse und Bratkartoffeln waren verbrannt die Baby Calamari waren ungewürzt der beilagensalat mit fertig Dressing da fehlen einen die Worte das einzige was gesalzen waren waren die Preise das heftigste war aber das ich was zum verbrannten Essen gesagt habe kann zwar Ersatz für das Gemüse aber ich fand das als Beilageänderung mit 6 Euro auf der Rechnung wieder man kann das Restaurant nicht mehr empfehlen nur noch abzocke da die Autobahn in der Nähe ist

Wir haben schon oft hier gegessen, oder was zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Das Essen ist gut, es ist nichts besonderes, aber es schmeckt. Ich finde, dass hier die Bedienung das beste ist. Zudem erhält der Kunde ein Häppchen süsses und im Sommer auch noch oft ein kleines Früchte-Shot.. Das Zelt vor dem Restaurant ist mE nicht gut gemacht, da die Leute überall rauchen dürfen.. das stört einen sehr. Wir sind beide seit Jahren Nichtraucher, weswegen wir noch empfindlich auf dem Geruch sind.. Wenn neben einem 10 Leute rauchen, schmeckt einem das Essen nicht mehr. Warum kann man nicht links "rauchfrei" und rechts Rauchen gestattet machen? Oder umkehrt? Naja.. für mich ein Grund im Sommer eben nicht hierher zu kommen, oder nur zu Tageszeiten, wo man eh im Gebäude drin essen kann.

Isolated from other business establishments, this restaurant is not the easiest to spot. But the staff is extremely friendly. The extensive menu offers numerous choices of unpretentious but tasty Greek food. Portions are big -- sometimes too big for me -- and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for an ethnic restaurant on a side road running parallel to an Autobahn.

One of my favourite restaurants! The food is really good, the portions are huge and the prices are unexpectedly low. You get a "special treatment" receiving some ouzo and desert on the house. It couldn't be better!

Unlike the other reviewers, i don't share their enthusiasm. I stay locally and ate here 10 years ago and so i am not a first time reviewer. The portions are huge and cheap so if you like quantity, its here. The appetiser for two people on three plates would look fabulous but heaped onto one loaded platter it all was a mess -, there was a mound of tzatziki burying the two dolmades and so on. The intermezzo salad was one of the worst i have ever been served - random torn lettuce leaves swimming in mayonnaise and all crammed into a desert bowl - what ever happened to the classic greek salad that we love. Where did the mayonnaise come from, not Greece. Maybe this appeals to locals but then serve a proper salad. The main course of grilled meats was a repeat of the piled up mess of the appetiser. Copious free glasses of ouzo couldn't save the poor presentation. The dated exterior and interior are dreadfully kitsch so the whole experience was like eating in a bad tourist restaurant and not what could be as an authentic and stylish Greek experience with smaller but better presented and maybe using simple Greek ingredients. The staff tried hard, but it is a fine balance between being too personal when its let down by the food. As with many restaurants in Greece, this is cash only - all the other local restaurants in this part of Germany accept credit cards. In summary, the cook has to improve a lot before i would call this a Greek restaurant based on my extensive and thoroughly enjoyable travels in Greece. I was disappointed and suggest you drive on.

Well let me start by saying that I love Greek food. I take my wife to so many Greek restaurants that she now thinks that is all I eat. The first time we arrived at this restaurant we were amazed at the amount of choices on the menu. The staff gave us time but we eventually managed to decide what we wanted to eat. Of course we were given a free ouzo as an appetiser. The meal didn’t take long to arrive and it was simply superb. Along with the main course came a salad which was tasty and quite filling, but the main course itself was mostly meat. I went for the Afroditi Teller, which consisted of Bifteki, pork on a Spiess a pork steak and Gyros. This can be accompanied by either rice or chips. It was cooked to perfection. My wife had a large Greek salad with huge shrimps. It not only looked good she said it was fantastic. After this we were served with a small piece of cake (like Maderia) but drizzled with lemon juice. This incidentally is free. Then another ouzo or metaxa when we paid the bill. Also free. Cutting a long review short… we have now been at the Poseidon nearly every week for the last 3 years. We have obviously been at every other Greek restaurant in the area too, and they are all very good, but we keep coming back to this one as it is by far our favourite. The restaurant may be a bit too much over the top in the Greek style but the staff are so friendly and helpful. We have never had a bad meal or bad service there. Not a place for nouveau cuisine, but if you want good wholesome cooking and a reasonable portion, then it is perfect.

If you are going on a trip to either Innsbruck or Salzburg, the Poseidon is a perfect place close to the junction of the two autobahns. Excellent food at low prices, and good service to boot. You'll get an ouzo before your meal and another one, with a small piece of cake, afterwards. Tried their oven-baked lamb as well as grilled lamb fillet in garlic sauce (the "Naxos platter"). Both were excellent. I've been here a few times, and liver, lamb chops, kebabs were all very good. They also have a smallish dessert menu; the galaktobouriko is the only thing I tried, and it was very very good, but you get a free piece of cake anyway. Also, a decent selection of Greek wines at reasonable prices. Try the Naoussa if you are looking for a red, and watch out for the Imiglykos (semi-sweet), unless you like sweet wines.
