Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great. Very greasy and not to our taste. I don't quite understand the other reviews. But the group was very friendly.

Food was very good, staff very nice.

We reserved a table for two people. The restaurant is much smaller than the picture shows. It was very loud and cramped inside. We ordered and got our food quickly. I was surprised because we ordered fish and lamb. And then came the surprise. There was little fish on the plate and the salmon was thin and dry. I didn't eat it and sent it back. The price is €27 or €24. The Metaxa sauce with the lamb was weird with the mushrooms and tasted like it had been thickened with starch. I can cook well, so it was a waste of money. Nothing to be desired. I think it's weak compared to criticism. I wanted to have a nice evening, but unfortunately it was just tears. I would never go back.

We visited this restaurant on June 8th. We initially really liked the ambiance and the staff; everyone was nice and friendly. They forgot the Poseidon burger for our daughter, but didn't admit it. The four of us had already finished eating when the burger arrived 🍔😤 Finally, the waitress just told us the amount without putting the bill on the table. We paid, but still asked for the bill, which the other waiter brought us. There was one Coke too many on the bill, and a tzatziki plate, which we hadn't ordered. The waitress, S., didn't want to admit it, which we found really sad. We got the €10 back. It's a shame it had to end like this 😔

Ordered food for pickup: Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio was a complete failure. The gyros were swimming in grease, the fries were soggy and drenched in fryer oil. The appetizer was partly frozen and partly fried, mushy vegetables. For just under €60, an absolute disaster. Once and never again.

Such a shame, a good restaurant when you're welcome as a driver during the week. If you come on Saturday, you have to make a reservation, otherwise it's no longer good after 8 p.m.

I was craving for some greek food and this came across near where I'm staying. I was greeted with quite the sweet staff and ordered wine and some bread. I was served a lovely glass of Dyo Elies wine—smooth, rich, and just the right complement to the meal. The moussaka, my personal Greek go-to, came out steaming and beautifully layered. Creamy béchamel on top, tender eggplant, seasoned meat, and a warm spiced tomatobase—it reminded me of what a good moussaka should be: comforting, hearty, and balanced without being overly oily or heavy. The fresh bread with garlic was a quiet star on its own—crunchy crust, pillowy inside, and that unmistakable hit of fresh chopped garlic that just lingers in the best way. All in all, it was an unexpectedly memorable meal. Come for the food, stay for the charm and cosiness.

We had gyros to pick up twice. Everything looked good, but both had food poisoning and only recovered after 3 days.

The taste of the food was quite good. The price is getting higher and the portion size is getting smaller and smaller. Had plate of gyros and liver. The liver tastes good, but really a mini piece! Also absolutely incomprehensible. There are no onions in the gyros. When we asked if they had been forgotten, we were told they weren't included, but can be ordered separately 😳 .

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary there on March 27, 2025. There were 16 of us with different orders. We were very surprised that the food was brought to everyone at the same time and that we could all eat at the same time. (WE HAVE ALREADY HAD A DIFFERENCE OF 45 MINUTES FOR 4 PEOPLE TO GO TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT..). That's why I would like to thank you today. You are a good team and the food is absolutely delicious. The entrance door slams into the frame every 10 seconds. Caused by the staff without taking this into account

This is a good Greek restaurant but I can't really understand the hype in the reviews. The food tastes good, but it's not worth 5 stars. The place is large and the noise is more like a train station. I had the feeling that as soon as I put the cutlery on the table, the plate would be cleared away. Either you order and eat, or you leave. There is no cozy atmosphere there.

The two of us ate at the Poseidon restaurant in Raubling and had several dishes, including a starter. Everything was incredibly fresh and extremely tasty – really excellent! For me this is almost one of the best Greek places I've been to so far. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and we were absolutely impressed by the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

Unfortunately not recommended, the food was below average and partly inedible. When we asked, we were told that we weren't allowed to compare it with other restaurants; things have always been done “differently” here. The service would have been a solid 3.9/4.0 up to this point, regardless of the quality of the food. The unfriendly handling of our review actually reduces the impression to 2.0, but for the sake of fairness I'm giving it 3 stars. The ambience is wonderful, slightly worn but lovingly furnished, hence 5 stars, it would be better, but I rate this within the scope of the restaurant's capabilities. Bye, because we won't be coming back, ever again.

Good Greek restaurant, conveniently located right next to the truck stop. The menu contains all typical Greek dishes. We usually pick something up and haven't eaten there yet. The quality was good, the price was OK too. The service was always friendly.

We have wanted to reserve several times, even well in advance, for Friday or Saturday. The same answer on every phone call, we could happily for 1-1/2 Reserve for hours, after that everything is fully booked. Very arrogant and arrogant answers from the staff!! Unfortunately, prices are also high, quality is rather poor compared to before!! If you want to afford this as a restaurant, you're welcome. We won't go there anymore!!

There were four of us there. We had starter and main course. The quality and taste of the dishes were good. Small criticisms, the price of the pita and the size of the rice side dish. Overall a recommendable restaurant.

Ordered gyros to pick up. Was slightly worse than mediocre, tasteless, dry. Unfortunately the rice wasn't good either, but the handful of fries were. Onions were missing (in my opinion standard for gyros). Will not order there again

Ordered two dishes to pick up. Waited 20 minutes... Salad was missing... Gyros resembled a kebab plate. Also tasteless. Inquired by email and drove by in person. If it doesn't taste good, don't come to us anymore! This was the takeaway experience.

Top restaurant! A bit expensive, but impeccable taste, service... and hygiene is not neglected either. You rarely or never see that both the table and the chairs are cleaned as soon as a guest leaves the restaurant! Flawless!

Beautiful place. The food is excellent. Before the main meal, you eat a salad and drink their traditional drink. Everyone is very kind, and almost everyone speaks English. The two of us spent 85 euros, but we were full. The bathroom is very clean, that's one of the first things I look for.

We were passing through and were very hungry. Everything was very tasty and the team was very friendly. If it wasn't so far away, we would come by more often.

The food is reasonably priced on weekdays. Weekends, however, are far, far too expensive for this type of cuisine. As an expert, I consider the calculation to be incomprehensible. With a surcharge of around 350 percent, the price is actually outrageous. Here you are riding the wave of general price increases and the increase in VAT. It's a shame, we'll see whether customers put up with it.

I've been going to Poseidon in Raubling for 20 years. From now on no more. Unfortunately the food is now just bad. There are e.g. no more garlic breads. If you ask the waiter, that would be too much work. Hey, what kind of statement is that? Then garlic. Yes, where is he? No one left in there. Nowhere. Ned Mal in the Tzatziki. Gyros was dry, and for 18.50 I expected a little bit of what was on the plate. Had vegetables with baby calamari and gyros. There were only 3 of the calamari on the plate. A small handful of vegetables and a bit of gyros. Again, 18.50. That's okay Ned. Sorry Poseidon, really sad for you. You were my favorite Greek. We had a lot of parties with you. Unfortunately now I have to look for a new one. A pity.

In principle we really enjoyed ordering from Poseidon. Unfortunately, the quality of food to be picked up has decreased significantly in relation to the price development. Therefore, my request: If salad is offered as an addition to the meal, it would be nice if it does not consist of swept-up leftovers with rotten lettuce leaves. Unfortunately, this has always been the case in the last 4 orders. - Then it's better not to have a salad and you'll be fine. This spoils the enjoyment of the actual dish for people who do not belong to the throwaway society. The dish used to be served with a delicious garlic baguette. Nowadays you can get old farmer's bread with your Greek dish... I don't understand the idea behind it unless you want to reduce existing customers. Please: Either for the existing price the same quality as when ordering in the restaurant or rather eliminate the salad and bread and offer a discount for ordering away from home. Otherwise we really like the food, but that's just not possible for a restaurant with this reputation!

The food has always been great, I usually take one of the grill plates, the staff is very attentive and very nice. We also always look forward to the encores (ouzo and a small drink at the end). The price is cheap and reasonable for the bid (of course the prices have also increased in these restaurants, but where haven't they).

Service was quick and friendly, food for 3 people was only lukewarm and blandly seasoned. Tzatziki a mini dollop on the plate. Rice and fries can just be found on the plate. Miniminimini.....

We reserved a table for five people the day before our visit and were at the restaurant at 1730 in the afternoon, right after it opened. We were served very quickly and very friendly. The starters came quickly and immediately afterwards the main course. The food was really excellent. None of us had anything to complain about. This was definitely not the last visit here.

Das übliche Gyros mit Zaziki o.ä. kann man hier essen. Habe ich auch schon öfters. Und ist o.k. Weshalb ich auch mal was Anderes essen wollte - z.B. Moussaka. Dieses lauwarme Convenience-Erlebnis mit mehr Eierstich als Hackfleischsoße und verschwindend wenig Gemüse - das werde ich mir in Zukunft sparen. Schade, dass es in der gesamten Rosenheimer Region m.E. nicht einen einzigen Griechen gibt, der ein würdiger Restaurantvertreter seines Landes ist. Muss man denn wirklich jedes Mal nach München fahren zur Taverna Paros, in der Kirchenstrasse 27?

There were three of us there today and we had reserved in advance. This is also recommended because it was fully occupied. We were absolutely thrilled by the friendly and attentive service. Every single service employee was friendly and obliging; we were served by at least three people. It was exactly the right mix between attentive, friendly, good advice and speed. The food was very good and plentiful and of very good quality. The advice on dessert also helped us a lot, as we were surprised by a daily dessert with fresh ingredients and excellent workmanship. Thank you very much for a thoroughly enjoyable evening, we are already looking forward to the next time!
