Top Greek restaurant! Good selection of dishes and superbly prepared meat. Excellently seasoned. For liver lovers: thinly sliced, melts in your mouth, top notch. If you like cocktails, this is also the place for you. Simply fantastic. No amateur can do this. Friendly staff who take their time with their guests.

Highly recommended! The prices are very reasonable. The restrooms are very clean, and you can eat outside on a lovely terrace. Any special requests are no problem, and the service is, in my opinion, impeccable! We've become regulars!

We ate there twice during our vacation. The restaurant is somewhat hidden above the entrance to the Tönning outdoor pool. It offers a view of the Eider River and also offers outdoor seating. The staff is very warm and friendly, as well as attentive. You immediately feel welcome. The food is plentiful and very tasty. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again.

We often eat at Greek restaurants, but this was by far the best. It's even a reason to come here, and we will. We got a table on the terrace without a reservation, excellent service, first-class food, huge portions, ouzo at the beginning, in between, and at the end 🙈👌, and the prices are perfectly reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Update: Still a great restaurant with very tasty food. The portions are still generous. This restaurant immediately jumps to the top of the top 10 of all our visits in the region! We stumbled upon this place by chance and were seated right away without a reservation. The food we ordered was PERFECT; I've never had such good beef liver, such a great gyro, and such a delicious meat. The service was exceptionally good (apart from one small glitch, which we won't detail here) and they diligently poured us a delicious ouzo, so we couldn't keep up with the drinks. Everyone else at the table enjoyed it too, and we all definitely want to come back. We've rarely had such a wonderful dining experience—you guys are fantastic!

We were there for the first time today. The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The service was also super friendly. We'll be back.

I ordered food by phone. I didn't have a menu at home and told them on the phone that they wanted everything except lamb. I got the Zeuss plate, which was recommended to me, four times. I picked up the four Zeuss plates myself and took a menu with me. At home, we compared the Zeuss plate with the Bauern Teller (the same but without lamb), which is €6 per plate, cheaper. I called the restaurant and was told they had added more gyros to the plate. But there wasn't a decent portion of gyros left on the plate. Besides, he didn't have time to talk right now because the restaurant was full. I paid €123.00, €24 too much for the Bauern Teller. €123 is quite a sum. I gave a tip. No goodwill. What a shame.

A real highlight! We spent a wonderful evening at Poseidon. The view was simply stunning – perfect for a relaxing evening for two. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt welcome. The food was excellent: I had souvlaki – tender, spicy, and grilled to perfection. My girlfriend had shrimp, which was also delicious. A place I highly recommend to everyone. We'll definitely be back!

Across the street from the hotel is this restaurant, which can be reached via a footbridge. You can sit inside, then it is advisable to make a reservation. We sat outside on the terrace. On one side of the terrace you look out over the dike and the hotel, on the other side over the outdoor pool. The service is very friendly and quick. The Ouzo was offered upon arrival and when paying. I got something without alcohol, which was also very tasty. The food was tasty and arrived quickly despite the crowds. In my opinion the food could have been a bit warmer, but I think that is because the food comes from a floor below. Parking available

We'll always remember the super friendly and attentive staff. We spent a week there on vacation and ate there three times because it was so lovely.

Today we decided to get food from Poseidon. We arrived shortly after 5 p.m. and ordered one Chania plate and one Santorini plate. The food was delivered to us after just 20 minutes. After a short drive, we were very hungry when we opened the packages and were quite shocked by what we saw. The quantity was quite large, more than we could have eaten. But, unfortunately, the quality was appalling, contrary to the reviews we've read here. Both the pork steak, the minced steak, and the skewer were inedibly dry. The gyro, which was supposed to be from the skewer, was very fatty and had large chunks of meat. The fries underneath the gyro were literally drenched in grease. Only the liver was good and tasty. The tzatziki, which we had to search for under the fries, was unfortunately very tasteless. Luckily, I still had homemade tzatziki from the day before, but even that didn't really improve the meat. The salad also seemed to have been hastily chopped rather than kneaded and marinated. It could be improved. Overall, it was more than disappointing for us, and we don't recommend it.

Zur Begrüßung gab’s gleich einen Ouzo aufs Haus. Toll. Ich bestellte ein kleines Gläschen Leitungswasser dazu, um den Ouzo nach griechischer Art zu verdünnen. Zu meinem Griigyros ( lecker) bestellte ich nachträglich noch frische Zwiebelringe, da die auf dem Teller sehr knapp bemessen waren. So, alles war perfekt. Schien zumindest so. Beim Blick auf die Rechnung gabs nämlich Nachfragen: 1€ war dort aufgeführt - für den Schluck Leitungswasser zum kostenfreien Ouzo. 1,50€ wurden auch noch aufgerufen - für die Zwiebelringe, die zuvor wirklich arg zu knapp auf dem Teller waren. Insgesamt war alles lecker und der Preis stimmte. ABER: die Aufpreise für nen Schluck Leitungswasser und 5 Zwiebelringe: Kess. Nee, ne Frechheit!!!

Your restaurant alone is reason enough to come back. Dipper Pine's cap only has two points. (Insider). Here, you're not treated like a customer, but like a friend. Unser Hund wollte unbedingt hier hinein, und da laut Tafel am Eingang Herrchen und Frauchen ausdrücklich willkommen sind, haben wir den letzten freien Tisch gekapert. Alle Bedienungen ausnehmend freundlich und aufmerksam. Tsatsiki hervorragend abgeschmeckt. Portionen groß und Essen insgesamt sehr lecker. Dem Hund haben die Pommes sehr geschmeckt. Ich habe telefonisch Essen bestellt. Ich hatte Zuhause keine Karte und sagte, es soll alles drauf, ausser Lamm. Ich habe 4 mal den Zeuss Teller bekommen. Ich habe die 4 Zeuss Teller selbst abgeholt und eine Speisekarte mitgenommen. Zuhause vergleichten wir den Zeuss Teller mit dem Bauern Teller, der ist 6 Euro pro Teller, günstiger. Ich rief im Restaurant an und mir wurde gesagt es ist mehr Gyros auf dem Teller getan. Ausserdem hat er gerade keine Zeit zu sprechen da das Restaurant voll ist. Ich habe 123,00 Euro bezahlt 24 Euro zuviel zum Bauern Teller. 123 Euro sind schon ein Sümmchen. Trinkgeld gegeben. Kein Entgegenkommen. Schade

Ja dort gibt man sich mittlerweile mehr Mühe. Früher wurden wir oft ohne Begrüßung zuerst gefragt "Haben Sie reserviert?", das hat man nun nicht mehr. The food was exceptionally good, we ate the baked eggplant with tomato sauce and rice, the grilled plate with gyros and souvlaki. The portions were very large... the plates were actually too small for that... The service was very courteous and very warm. There were a total of 3 ouzo for free... one before the meal, one after the meal and another to say goodbye... The view from the restaurant was directly onto the Eider... If we are in the area again we will definitely eat there again.

We were there for the second time with 6 people. Nicely decorated table, Mediterranean pictures on the wall, nice ambience. The staff is nice, friendly and attentive. An ouzo for everyone beforehand and a salad with the food. Without exception, the salads were fresh and crunchy and the quality of the meat was really good. Red rice and fries on the side, delicious. Conclusion, I can recommend it without hesitation. You should bring some time with you as everything is freshly prepared.

We were there last night around 7 p.m. with two people. What was definitely positive was that we got a table quickly and that the waiters were super friendly. Unfortunately, that was all we noticed positively. We waited almost an hour for the salad to arrive and it took some time for the main courses to arrive. We would have accepted that if the food had been as good. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case, the portions were much smaller than we are used to from Greeks (but still enough to fill us up), and the quality of the meat I had was not good, it was supposed to be a pork fillet, but it was totally fatty, lumpy and tough. My partner's gyros were also absolutely fatty and therefore hardly edible. It also costs extra if you want to take the rest of your food with you, something we don't know about from our Greeks. All in all, we wouldn't come back and unfortunately wouldn't recommend it either. Unfortunately, price performance wasn't good here.

Das Restaurant ist schön und war zusätzlich noch ansprechend, weihnachtlich geschmückt. Das Essen kam schnell und es war schmackhaft. Nicht das beste Essen, was ich hatte, aber sehr gut essbar. Die Portion war riesig. Die Ouzos auf Kosten des Hauses haber ein wenig geholfen. Die Preise sind in Ordnung. Ich würde das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

The waiters are incredibly nice and accommodating. Everything was very clean and tidy. Ambiance is also very nice! Unfortunately we would have to wait a relatively long time for our food (45 minutes at moderate capacity). We went to eat here without a reservation. Dogs are welcome outside on the terrace, but also inside. Ordered a dish for 2. You get a delicious salad beforehand. It was more than enough, we couldn't finish it and were given a doggy bag. 50ct was charged for this, which was neatly stated in advance. They also prefer that you pay in cash as a foreign guest. Unfortunately it's gone a lot, it's a shame, we always enjoyed eating there. The menu doesn't seem to be right on the internet, maybe it should be updated.. Bifteki, red rice and potato slices. As for the rice, it was much too dry for us and was actually more, the slices were quite ok, the meat was eaten, but it was also better...

The service was very friendly and funny. The food was very tasty but the fries were too salty for us. My husband had the Hercules plate. Very large portion, barely fit on the plate. Larger plates would be advisable here, then you could eat more relaxed. There's actually no space on the plate to cut the meat... The taste was excellent.

Didn't blow me away that much. The entrance was difficult to find (if you want to go there for the first time) and the selection for vegetarians is very poor. When it comes to pasta dishes, they only have these Greek noodles. The service is as it should be, nice and polite and the ambience is ok, but nothing special. So, you can go there, but it's not a special highlight.

After a few days of waiting, I would like to write a few words about our visit to this restaurant on Father's Day 2024. I entered the restaurant around 5:30 p.m. A grumpy-looking young man appeared and I told him I wanted to reserve a seat for an hour later. After this hour we entered the restaurant and were seated at a table. A young woman who obviously didn't speak German well took the order. We order drinks, a starter and two main courses. She asked us to give the numbers of the respective dishes and not their names, which of course we did. I expressed my wish to have Greek noodles instead of French fries, which are offered elsewhere on the menu. The young lady seemed overwhelmed by this request and went to ask. The still grumpy gentleman appeared at our table and said that my main course was not a pasta dish and that it was therefore not possible. "Aha!" I said in surprise and since I didn't feel like arguing, I ordered with French fries as stated on the menu. After some time two small salads and then the main courses were served. A short time later the starter arrived. When I objected to the gentleman that we had ordered a starter (!) and a main course, his mood changed from grumpy to angry, he took the starter from the table and started a very loud discussion in front of all the other guests in the restaurant. So he claimed (even though he wasn't there) that we had called out the dish numbers one after the other and that's why the dishes were being served all at once. In addition, the young lady who took the order was new to the service. I asked the gentleman to end the discussion because the food being served was getting cold and I didn't feel like answering such absurd arguments. He only very hesitantly moved away from our table. But that wasn't enough. After a very short time, an angry lady appeared and began to argue loudly with us. So she argued that it was our own fault that the starter came so late, as we should have said after receiving the small salads that the starter was still missing. When I said that they should just leave us alone, she turned around and said that she could throw us out since she had the right to the house. We anticipated this immediately. This restaurant has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with Greece and Greek hospitality. I have never experienced anything like this in my 60+ year life and I don't want to experience it again. And now dear owner/managing director: Fire free! I'm curious to see what else we did wrong.

We can fully recommend the Poseidon restaurant. Were there for the first time today, but definitely not the last time. The food was delicious and plentiful. Not a long wait. The host family is friendly and accommodating.

Very friendly service. It was spontaneously possible for 13 people with 2 dogs to eat together. Short waiting time for tables to be put together in no time and off we went. The food came at the same time for everyone, tasted excellent and there was plenty on the plate. Highly recommended, a landlady with heart and passion ❣️

The taste is always the same. It only ever smells of one spice. If you're very hungry you'll be full, but unfortunately the meat dishes didn't convince us.

If you are very hungry, you should definitely come and eat here. I had a huge portion of gyros and I only finished half of it. Meat and fries were good. There was a little too little garlic in the tzatziki for my taste (but my companions didn't complain afterwards 😉). Unfortunately, the coleslaw on the side was a bit too salty.
