Friendly service staff, food came very quickly, no long wait

Yes, I liked it, but I don't have to repeat it again!!! Why? Price quite high and service needs improvement. Have had better from many other Greek restaurants. Because of this!!!

We were there spontaneously on Friday evening, got a great table outside even though we hadn't made a reservation, were warmly greeted and had an ouzo beforehand, the children also got a small "schnapps" (juice of course) in an ouzo glass. Food came without a long wait. The children had a children's plate (gyros with fries) and the older one a normal dish (gyros with calamari also with fries), we shared a grill plate for 2 people (lamb chops/gyros/meat skewers and mince) also with fries. Everything was very tasty, hot and tasty, crispy fries (not hard as someone else wrote here), the tzatziki was also very tasty. Unfortunately we were only in the area on holiday, otherwise we would eat there more often. Highly recommended by us!

Ordered a table for 2 people on Friday. Reservations went very well by phone. We got there on time and, despite many free seats and tables reserved by regular guests, we were only able to get a table in the passage area. Service staff had no overview of who came and wanted to order when. Our starters came quickly and tasted very good. The fries on my main course were consistently hard and the meat flew past the contact grill. Price quite high, service needs improvement. We'll try again.

I came to the meeting with the “family clan” from Fürth/Bay. For me it was "the first time", I mean: I was also a "blank slate" for the hosts! From the very beginning I felt like I belonged there, as if I were the "longest regular" at Poseidon! Thank you for the “delights”, the fine wines from the cellar, and the warmth shown to me. Great Greek. Very tasty food, great selection of drinks. Family atmosphere with constant and very friendly staff and a fantastic boss. And the best part... WARM greeting and farewell, this is Ouzo😉

My girlfriend and I were there for the first and last time. The food was very tasty, but the two men who served us were unfriendly, hectic and pushy. During the meal we were repeatedly interrupted in our conversations. because you wanted to clear the plates. We made it clear that we weren't finished yet. Apparently no one was interested and the waiter was back at the table. After an hour we had enough. We have rarely felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant.

I had dinner there with my girlfriend. The service there is quite unfriendly and hectic. But what happened next was absolute disgrace. When it came time to pay, I wanted to pay the tip with a card because I didn't have enough change. The Lord told me that it is not possible. I explained the situation to him, that I was sorry and that I only had €3 left. As a thank you I had to say goodbye with the following words: THANK YOU MA-LA-KA! Translated: THANK YOU W- I C- H S -E R! Unfortunately, I was so perplexed and annoyed that I didn't respond immediately! We won't eat there anymore!

Everything is good so far, you can do it again. Drinks were so-so that in Hesse you don't know any Fanta or Sinalco Schoppen (Wein&Fanta), well.

A super great, identical Greek restaurant. All dishes are freshly prepared, the service is top notch, and you get free ouzo before your meal. The fish and meat are very good and the zaiziki is fresh! Go there regularly.

Nice Greek restaurant in the heart of Groß-Gerau. Delicious food, solid service, maybe not entirely friendly, tough but warm in tone. The restaurant has a covered terrace that can be closed off from the harsh weather on cold or windy days.

This restaurant is really a hit! Authentic ambience (not noble but absolutely appropriate and well-kept), boss and 2 waiters serve with a lot of passion and in an uncomplicated manner. And most importantly: very good food! Always have the daily fresh fish recommended on site, sometimes limited because it is not available on that day - that's what I expect. The classic meat dishes (I use them when I pick them up for home) are also really well done because they are not dry fried but always juicy and tender. All of this for reasonable money. Full marks, always the same high level without fluctuations!

Für griechisches Essen ist das Poseidonrestaurant meine erste Adresse in unserer Umgebung. Sehr gute Küche, freundliches Personal, gemütliche Atmosphäre. In der Woche gibt es einen preiswerten Mittagstisch.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Preislich vergleichbar mit anderen aber definitiv leckerer. Man kann innen oder im hinteren Teil draußen sitzen oder sich Essen zum Abholen bestellen.

Essen sehr schmackhaft, sehr schöner Außensitzplatz. Essen wird schnell gebracht.

Leider wirken die Kellner immer sehr gestresst. Essen ist gut .

Sehr lange Wartezeit 1,5 Stunden auf die Hauptspeise gewartet. Für das sehr grosse Restaurant, gab es nur zwei Kellner, dementsprechend wurde auch auf die Getränke sehr lange gewartet und auch gar nicht gefragt, ob man noch was zu trinken haben möchte. Das Essen war gut, daher 4 Sterne. Ansonsten leider nur für den Service und das Ambiente 1 Stern.
