Restaurant & Pizzeria Zur Schreinerei in Stuttgart

Very disappointing and completely unprofessional! I discovered the restaurant a week ago and was really impressed on my first visit - the food was delicious and the impression was good. Today, however, an absolute disaster: I ordered a salami pizza and found a piece of plastic in the middle of the pizza! Something like this simply shouldn't happen. When I tried to reach the owner by phone, I only got an indifferent answer: “Yes, that can happen.” - What please?! This reaction is completely unprofessional and shows zero sense of responsibility. If work is not done properly in the kitchen, it is not only disgusting but also dangerous. One thing is certain for me: I will never eat there again. Anyone who treats food and customers like this has completely lost my trust.

A very good and inexpensive opportunity to enjoy good home-style dishes, not just during carnival. There is also enough space for groups. Service and food great. The insider tip is the Cordon Bleu with brick cheese and bacon!

I've never had so little Aperol... the pizza didn't taste like anything. Ambience terrible. Music was quiet, uncomfortable seats. I was hoping for more with a 4.6* rating. Then it's better to go to Stuttgart for a real pizza and a better ambience, because you get a lot more there for the same price.

Disappointing. The service was arrogant (after 20 minutes of waiting, the waiter deigned to ask for my order) and slowly towards my companions too, the Maultaschen were tiny, supposedly melted (you had to look for the melt with a magnifying glass) and the potato salad consisted of the cheapest potatoes, badly cut and thick, cold and just barely edible. The price, however, was steep.

Great and good price. The desserts are very good.

Nice employees. Nice boss. Classic Italian. Espresso is great. Always recommended.

Given the positive reviews, we actually had high expectations of the food. My wife's pizza was just mediocre. Pizza without pizzazz. I, on the other hand, had lasagna. If you want to eat the smallest lasagne for €16.90, you have to go to the carpentry shop. Price performance simply doesn't fit here.

Were here today with my partner, well there are better Italians. Keller very nice and friendly. Nice and cozy. Pizza OK so far. Pasta works like this. Not barrier-free. Located in the pedestrian zone.

Great. The food was fantastic - I didn't know you could make pizza so good. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating and the waiting time was very short (but the food was still fresh and not warmed up). One point deduction for.... no, there is no point deduction because everything was perfect :-)

The food wasn't that great and the price-performance ratio really doesn't fit here. Without wanting to put too much emphasis on it, both the Swabian and Italian dishes were not good or up to standard. Cheap foods are shown here as high quality products and determine the price. What counts here is the margin rather than quality and customer satisfaction.

Basically no vegan options. No longer appropriate in 2024. Fries take a very long time at lunch, in my case they didn't come at all after over 20 minutes. The others had already eaten their pizza. There was no apology.

Nice restaurant a little away from the city center. Very friendly staff even during busy times. Good selection of delicious food.

Leider war das Essen gar nicht gut. Die Spätzle total verkocht und rochen sehr unangenehm. Die Linsen und Würstchen waren ok. Leider sind daher 10,90 Euro im Müll gelandet.

Das bestellte essen zur Abholung war sehr schlecht. Keine Linsen mit Spätzle sondern irgendwelche komischen Bandnudeln. Geschmeckt hat es auch nicht. Kritikfähig ist dieser Laden auch nicht und lässt dann fleißig Google Bewertungen löschen.

We ate there with the family and really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty. The roast is tender as butter and the pizza is nice and thin and crispy. Where else can you get Swabian and Italian cuisine in one place?

Wir waren mit meiner Familie in einer größeren Gruppe (16 Personen) zum Mittagessen in der Schreinerei. Der Service war sehr freundlich, die Preise sind für die Lage und die Qualität angemessen und das Essen war durch die Bank sehr gut. Das Ambiente fanden wir zwar nicht hochmodern aber sehr gemütlich. Wir können die Schreinerei nur wärmstens empfehlen und werden wiederkommen!

Nice rustic and quiet atmosphere. But inside it was a bit too warm for our taste (outside it was cool, rainy May). Very good courteous service. Great food. steak (2 times); good meat quality, optimally fried medium. Unfortunately, not every restaurant in the area can offer fried potatoes fresh and not out of the bag. Fresh salad and delicious dressing. Good espresso with a hot cup. Homemade meatballs and Maultaschen are also very tasty. apple strudel very good; homemade? If you buy it, then it's a very good product. According to the menu, the included vanilla ice cream was homemade, I would also agree, it tasted good and not like run-of-the-mill ice cream. Toilets clean. The price is absolutely right for the quality delivered! We'll be back!

Schwäbisches Essen nicht zu empfehlen. Kartoffelsalat von nicht durchgegarten Kartoffeln und ohne Geschmack angemacht. Bratkartoffeln nicht besser . Für die angesetzten Preise Qualität nicht gegeben. Keine Weiterempfehlung. Leider

Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung. Großartige Pizza. Preise in Ordnung. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Es gibt keine 5 Sterne, da die Einrichtung gut bürgerlich und etwas älter ist. Trotzdem aber sauber und ordentlich. Ich würde kein anderes Restaurant bei einem erneuten Besuch in Stuttgart wählen.

There were nine of us for dinner. Everyone ordered from the menu. We were all very satisfied. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. The restaurant with its very friendly service can only be recommended. Ps.: The Restaurant & Pizzeria Zur Schreinerei has its own parking spaces!

Ein typisch schwäbisches Lokal, in dem man schwäbisch und italienisch essen kann. Alles sehr lecker und die Portionen waren normal groß. Preislich völlig in Ordnung. Der Service war sehr freundlich und nett. Reservieren war unkompliziert.

Très bon moment passé en famille avec enfants. Les plats étaient délicieux aussi bien pizza, que pâtes, poisson… L’accueil était au top. On avait une petite pièce privée bien utile avec les enfants.

Alles frisch zubereiteten Gerichte. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente und freundliches Personal.

Wenn es gehen würde, würde ich gerne mehr Sterne vergeben. Super Service, sie sind alle sehr sehr nett, danke für alles und das Essen sehr lecker auch danke an die Küche. Wir waren 8 Erwachsene und wir haben alle das Essen zusammen bekommen und alles war warm! Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon.

Richtig gute Pizza, der Chef ist ein Cannstatter Original. Hier kommen wir immer wieder gerne her. Ob Mittagstisch oder am Wochenende mit der Familie - absolute Empfehlung!

Das mit Abstand beste Restaurant in ganz Stuttgart. Ein absoluter muss für jeden der nach Stuttgart kommt, ich war hier während meines Aufenthaltes täglich essen. Das Essen ist vom Feinsten, toller Service, werde wieder kommen, wenn ich in Stuttgart bin !

Man kann gut essen, ob italienisch oder schwäbisch

Der Chefkoch gibt sich sehr großer Mühe, denn das Essen war sehr lecker. Wenn man auf Vintage steht dann ist man dort sehr gut aufgehoben. 👍

Das Restaurant " Zur Schreinerei" ist eine gute Mischung aus deutscher Küche und italienischer Küche. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz nebenan. Man kann auch draußen sitzen. Eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert. Das Ambiente ist auch " gut bürgerlich".

Ein sehr tolles Lokal , was mir das Gefühl gab ,man ist daheim. Der Service und die Mitarbeitern gaben uns ein tolles Gefühl. Das Essen hat mir sehr geschmeckt und die Karte liest sich gut. Schreit nach Wiederholung👍🏾.
